We were walking around town looking for a dairy free treat option and it was great to see that Sweet Shoppe had gelato. There were a few dairy free options that worked very well for our family. The atmosphere of the store is very cute. The store was very crowded but thatβs good for them! There is not any indoor seating to enjoy your treat, but plenty of outdoor public benches and picnic tables across the street. This place is cute and worth a visit if you are looking for a cold treat, fudge or candy!

This place will always be one of my favorite spots in Flagstaff. Theres a wide variety of candy, fudge, and other sweet treats for every member of the family. (My favorite is the raspberry fudge). I personally enjoy all the trinkets and souvenirs you can buy. Another great perk about this place is that its right next to a couple of hotels so its easily accessible. I cant wait for my next visit up north so I can enjoy this experience again!
Amazing experience! Absolutely superb customer service. They were jam-packed like sardines, but the lady behind the counter served me and my daughters with a big smile. The way it wasnt too long and once we placed our orders we were able to grab the gelato and frozen yogurt we ordered and pay right away.Theres no indoor seating, but we were able to step right up front and find a table available immediately. I know that we were lucky, but even if there wasnt a table right out front, they still had a whole bunch of seating in the alleyway.
Well, I never got to their gelato section. They side tracked me with the AMAZING mint delight in the air as I walked in the door. I got to taste their mint fudge and it did NOT disappoint 2 days later when I finally reached home and had time to eat it.Lovely people! I hope to go back and explore. VERY happy with my experience. A little afraid to look as Im pretty sure Id like to experience it all!
Always one of our must do and favorite stops in Flagstaff. Everyone is always so friendly and helpful. It also helps that everything they have is so yummy.
We came to this candy store and its so cute inside! Their sweets are delicious as well. It was a joy to see that they had sugar free chocolates for costumers too. Downside is that they dont put any prices, so when it was time to pay, I was in shock of how much it came out to be. Still, its a nice place to visit.

Delicious gelato and sorbelato! We sat outside and enjoyed staring at your candy apple window display. So my husband had to go get a butterfinger apple, he loved that you cut it up for him so he could eat it easier! We also have enjoyed the variety of chocolates and fudge on other visits! Customer service has always been great!
We loved this little place at Heritage Square in Flagstaff. The displays are gorgeous and full of everything I ever thought I wanted. The store is clean and inviting. Prices are too expensive for this chocolate quality. I paid $47 for 5 small pieces of chocolate !!! I know very well what good quality chocolate is. Also, if you are going to sell it so expensive, paper bag is definitely not used !!! When I got home and opened the package, they were all smashed together and broken. And the flavors were mixed. You call this quality? ?? Pity I will never buy again. I like small businesses but you guys are rip off for tourists. Dont recommend.
VERY tasty homeade fudge, gelato, and chocolate, along with all the classic candy. Not as much options as say, RocketFizz, but still an awesome variety. Its a small shop and got very crowded in and outside. The pricing is a little icky, but totally worth it! Definitely a place you must visit when in Flagstaff!!

We were in town for the day visiting my g/fs daughter who goes to NAU and decided to stop in. The first thing you notice besides the wonderful smells are the amazing variety of sweets from their truffles to their fudge. We ended up walking out with some caramel apples, a few chocolate covered pretzels as well some smores, dolce de leche and mint oreo fudge. The fudge was smooth, creamy and jam packed with flavor. Simply amazing! You can really taste the care and effort that goes into producing each item. We will certainly be going back to sample some of their other amazing items. Support local businesses like these each time you can!
Fun atmosphere, nice service. We got a chocolate covered pretzel, some nougats, and salted caramel. Everything was excellent quality, except the salted caramel. It was runny and did not taste good. We were disappointed. I would try anything else there.

Great little spot in Flagstaff. We stumbled on this place and the service was incredibly friendly. Definitely what you would expect in a small town. My daughter got the ice cream and it was yummy. They also have a huge section of handmade fudge and other confectionary. It also has a large selection of very touristy trinkets and apparel. It took my kids a long time to pick what they wanted and we never felt rushed. So much of what makes a business successful are the personalities or the people who work there and these guys (or I should say gals) are doing it right! Thank you!

Owner was rude and mean.... he needs to train his workers better.... always went there and spent 100+ because its expensive to help local businesses which we try to do to help our city out.... he wasnt nice when I called and explained and had such a bad attitude like it was my fault.... never going there again... also wasnt managing covid rules... it was full and pretty much shoulder to shoulder there....

Whenever I go to Flagstaff, I usually go to this sweet shoppe after Ive eaten a meal. When in Flagstaff on Friday spending some time with my family, I recommended we go to this sweets shoppe. Because of COVID, there is a line outside of the door because every time someone leaves, someone can go into the shoppe. My husband, sister, and I wait our turn and go into the shoppe. We buy at least $25 worth of ice cream and a sticker. It was a steep price for a few scoops, but we wanted to support local businesses and help them keep afloat during this time. It was HEAVILY raining once we got into the store and we noticed this after we had bought our ice cream. There are less than 10 people including the store associates in the store at this time, so I ask a store associate if we can stay inside, out of the rain with our ice cream until the rain lightens up She says to me that we cannot wait inside or outside the door until the rain passes over and that we have to leave to make way for other incoming customers. Because it is pouring rain outside, there are no customers waiting to get indoors. So I mention that no one is waiting and ask again if we can stay, she still says no, and says, the rain will add flavor to your ice cream. We were shocked. Another family sees us asking to stay and asks a different store associate if they can stay and the other store associate said, yes, you can stay as long as youd like. This made us realize what a mistake we had made coming to this business. They made us feel like this business didnt care about its customers as long as youve already spent money there. It was a slap in the face and we were beyond disappointed with the service. We will not be returning.

After doing a bit of searching we decided to support local small business and stop by here for some ice cream. After spending $10 for easily the worst pint of ice cream/gelato ive ever had I can pretty confidently say we wont be back. It was literally grainy, somehow, and had significant freezer burn on top.

Came to Flagstaff on vacation and found this sweet shop. Walked in looked around and found what we wanted. We stood at the front register waiting to be helped while two old ladies buying fudge jumped in front of us. The staff never onced asked what we wanted and went to help other people on the other side of the store. We walked out, not coming back.

My wife Lauren and I went to Flagstaff for a night to get away from the heat and explore downtown. We were craving something sweet, so we googled places to go and Sweet Shoppe Candy Store came up on top places. We both wanted gelato and while we were ordering we overheard a couple saying they just got married on Tuesday (10/6/2020). Through conversation with the girl scooping our gelato, the owner heard us saying we just got married as well on Saturday (10/3/2020). She was so excited and asked if she could take pictures and make the four of us her βcouples of the weekβ on her Instagram and Facebook pages. Thank you for the fantastic hospitality, your gelato and pecan caramel apple were delicious! We are going to tell everyone we know who heads to Flagstaff to stop by.

One of my biggest regrets in life is only buying one of the peanut butter rice crispy treats during my visit to this shoppe while in Flagstaff for a night. I managed to somehow eat that rice crispy treat over the course of three days since I knew I would not get another one any time soon. But I still think about that rice crispy treat and am sad that Im not currently eating one.Short answer: I wish I lived close by so I could go there all the time.

I stopped here for Gelato this Summer and it was pretty disappointing. Not the worst but not particularly creamy either.The worst part was that I watched the server spoon out multiple solid chunks of rock hard ice versions of the flavor I ordered and put them in my order. I could immediately tell they were inedible but tried regardless in front of her. I then had to ask her to dump those chunks in the trash so that I could actually eat my purchase. She seemed confused. She did it but didnt offer to replace them with edible gelato. Not impressed. But the rest of what was left was relatively tasty.
This happened about a month ago... A week before I ordered chocolate covered strawberries I went into the shop and asked how much a dozen would be. I was told about $32 plus if I called the day before then I would get a 10% discount. The next week I called to order them and was not told a price so I assumed that the price had not changed. They charged an extra $14 when I went to pick up my order. When I brought it to the cashiers attention he brought in a manager or possibly the owner. Who then proceeded to tell me that the cashier from last week must have guesstimated. When I informed them that no they did not because they rung it up on the computer to check they then proceeded to ask me if I would like some strawberries removed to be the lower price. I paid and left due to the fact that the strawberries were for my mom and not myself. I will never return again. The rudeness of the employee as well as the substantial price increase within a week has ruined the sweet shoppe for me.
Delicious handmade treats including wide variety of caramel, caramel apples, fudge, and many traditional candy store favorites. Brought my sons here while on a vacation for Spring Break. The clerk was very nice and the owner was personable. She makes the sweets on site from scratch. They have a store online and ship all over.
I shipped a crate at Christmas but provided the wrong address. They were so helpful. They managed to get the package rerouted to the correct address before Christmas. I know they had to be busy, but they were so patient and kind, and my sister loved her gift!
Kind of disorganized. No prices listed. Lots of staff but seem to be in lala land. We got a bit of fudge. Would have tried other candy if there was someone to help. Fudge is really not great. Itβs ok but Iβve had so much better from many a mountain town. Which is sad because itβs quite expensive. We tried 3 different kinds and they were mostly chocolate with a few bits mixed in. Even the peanut butter was chocolate with peanut butter chips on top. Thereβs another candy shop in town Iβll surely try that next time
I cant believe I made it past the displays of delicious chocolates to get to the ice cream section in the back, but it was well worth it. So. Freaking. Good. Stop reading reviews already and just go.
Very good selection of both handmade and packaged penny candy. The fudge is really good, and there are many flavors. There is gelato, but when I got some it tasted like freezer, the way food in ones fridge/freezer gets when there is no baking soda in it. Overall, I definitely recommend the candy.
