I bought a used suv from Finlay Honda this past Thursday. Now i absolutely hate buying from a dealership. But i had a fairly good experience. No pushy salesperson, nor having other people come talk to you. My salesperson argued on my behalf and they even took my trade. And even the last person one talks to to finish the deal (finance) was not a slick older gentleman. Pleasant experience.

The second you walk in the door at Findlay Honda, you know that this experience is going to be different from any other dealership youve been to. The atmosphere is calm and inviting. The staff from general manager to the lot attendants seem truly to be doing everything in their power to make you at ease. Sales manager, Scott Trent was an absolute joy to work with. He gave me the opportunity to explain my needs. He listened!!! And in no time was able to give me the exact car and deal I asked for. I will continue to be a loyal customer to Findlay Honda.

Mimi Vessey and the service team at Findlay Honda provide outstanding customer service. My 2012 Accord was frequently, but intermittently displaying Check Fuel Cap. After the first attempt to address this didnt resolve the issue, Mimi directed me to Jonathan Begay for followup. I live about 30 miles away from the dealership, so Jonathan had Andy drive down in a service loaner to pickup my car to work on it. My car was returned with the issue seemingly resolved, but after a few days the same message returned, Check Fuel Cap. This is part of the evaporative emission control system, a very complex system, but Jonathan and the service techs kept working through this until final resolution was reached. For that third and final repair, Jonathan again had Andy drive down in a service loaner to pickup my car, so I wouldnt be without wheels. Overall this was a great service experience as everyone involved worked tirelessly to ensure a satisfactory resolution was reached.Thank you Findlay Honda Service Team!

My civic had a common vibration issue so I took it in. The next day they said a cylinder had low compression which makes no sense since if it did, the check engine light would have been on and I would have experienced backfires (which my car has never had). I did my own research and found out it was most likely the motor mount so I called them to ask if they could check it and a few days later denied it was the mount and that they checked the mounts and they were fine I took my car back and checked it myself at home and found out it WAS the motor mount (this took me literally 2 seconds to check). The staff was really nice but they clearly dont know nearly as much about cars and common issues with specific cars as well as the local mechanic shops do. If you know exactly what needs replaced or have a warranty, let them fix it. But if both are false, AVOID! They dont try to figure out whats wrong by actually looking at the car, instead they rely almost entirely on error codes.

This dealership was able to work with my needs over the phone, unlike the other Honda dealer in Phoenix. They made everything really easy and straightforward and I felt that they truly had my best interest throughout the process. Super friendly and helpful staff. Special thank you to Scott for meeting my needs over the phone.Very pleased with the experience, just wish they would’ve done 1 last detail on the car. There were some drip marks from the water I assume they used for the window tint. Exterior had a little dirt as well, but that’s just me being nitpicky. Still 5/5!

I am so thankful to the guys at this place. My son broke down and took the vehicle to them, we found out it was the starter the guys were able to get the vehicle going. My son had his car running again and I was relieved, of course it was money out the pocket but money comes and goes and all that mattered was my family and getting them back to Phoenix where they live and work. I also got to spend time with my kids, these days with us all being busy working and living our lives it brought us together. Thank you Santos and Crew you guys are a blessing in my eyes. Thank you!

My 2003 Accord needed service and wanted to get it done at the dealer to take care of an airbag recall. They serviced: Transmission remove and replace fluid and Power Steering fluid change, tires rotated. While the service was successfully (but primarily done at a body shop nearby) the communication was an issue. My truck was there for almost 3 weeks and I never received any updates unless I called and pestered people and even then I was told that the person I was working with was out on vacation and they did not have any updates for me. One would think they would have notes in a computer or communicate amongst each other but I was disappointed overall.

Findlay Honda Flagstaff was Amazing!! We had such a great experience I cannot wait to buy our second vehicle from them! They were courteous, and welcomed us like family as soon as we entered. This was by far the easiest purchase we have made on a car. Mark was great! No bull, no fuss, just asked for us to be honest about what we want and if we say no or dont find what we want that is fine we will keep looking until we find the right one! I loved that statement, it really made me feel at ease. Riley was also great and would check in and make sure we didnt have any questions or need anything. Dylan kept it straightforward and answered all of our questions. Everyone took the time to get to know us, our family and our needs. They are definitely our choice dealership for Flagstaff!

Our air conditioner died six days into a 17 day road trip, as we crossed 105 degree deserts on the way to the Grand Canyon with our five children. Findlay Honda was able to get us an appointment the very next morning. When they determined the repair would take two days to complete, we weren’t sure how we would manage getting my husband back and forth from the campsite at the park to the dealership an hour and a half away. Mimi kindly provided a complimentary loaner car so my husband could rejoin us. If that wasn’t enough, when our repair was complete, her husband drove our vehicle to us outside of the park, saving my husband a three hour round trip drive. Mimi and Findlay Honda went above and beyond and helped turn a stressful situation around and saved our family’s trip. What incredible customer service!

I have a 2020 Honda Touring Hybrid company car through LeasePlan. I had my oil changed at Firestone in Peoria Arizona and they did not reattach the Guard underneath the car. I called Santos in service department and he told me to bring it over and he would take a look at it. I waited for a few minutes and he reattached everything. We have been a customer of Findlay Honda for three years. Their service department is fast, friendly and thorough. When we decided to lease another CR-V we didn’t hesitate to approach Findlay’s sales department. Ian was our salesman and was very professional and patient as we asked many questions. Because of the current international semiconductor shortage inventory for all cars and in particular the CR-V was almost nonexistent. However, Ian was able to find not only that model but the hybrid version. Thank you.

I have spent years with an old car because I hated to go into a dealerships. Well I got into an accident and was forced to go and found myself at Findlay Honda. I was greeted by an incredible, kind and respectful and knowledgeable salesman, Ian. He listened to me!!! In years passed, I felt like sales people could care less about my situation and especially because I was woman I felt like they were more interested in their sales pitch than me. Well people, not at this dealership! Everyone worked extremely hard to make sure I was fitted with a car that I was comfortable with. In other words, I was treated like a queen! The service department takes advantage of the college kids in the area. My daughter took her car in for diagnostic $150. Then tried to Charge the her another $200 on top of that to clean the throttle body. $350 plus tax is excessive for this service.

Bought a used HRV a couple of years ago. I went to have my tires rotated and found out I did not have the key for the locking lug nuts. Went to Honda for help. The service desk and employees were awesome. A gentleman came out to my car and figured out what I needed. He said he would meet me back at the service desk. When he came back he said one of the techs had an extra key and I could have it. I was so caught off guard I didn’t get his name. Everyone I interacted with there today was wonderful. I bought my first Accord Sport 16 here and had a good experience. However I was looking for a Hybrid and came to the dealership to talk #s and boy did they low-ball me on my trade. So I walked away, and Im glad I did because I went to another Honda Dealership and got a unbelievable deal and got a trade offer that was 4000 more. SHELBY is nice, easy going, no pressure salesman, UNFORTUNATELY his managers werent interested in making a deal. SHOP around and dont get low-balled. Do your research and know what your vehicle is worth before going to any dealership.

I was headed back to Phoenix by way of Flagstaff from Albuquerque when my wheel well panel broke apart. I called ahead. The young man who helped me was wonderful. He told me my options and got me back on the road with the least amount of money possible. He even offered to run my car through the wash. After time skiing in Taos the car was a mess. I feel bad that I didn’t get his name but he has a five year old about to turn six and a nine year old. He’s from Santa Fe. Nice and polite. I am so grateful for his help.

I asked for key to be made for my honda CRV from the vin and need two order several oil pan bolt that had got damaged. To the service department I said please dont mess up my car and she or he said back we work everyday. I said please dont mess up my car he or she said we do it everyday. I said would you rather I go some where else with my car? He or she said yes. I said where is my key. And left the dealership. It was clear to me that they did not want my business. They did not care that I was going to a honda dealership because i own a honda currently! I guess I will not be buying anymore Hondas in the future. Thank you for nothing Findlay honda flagstaff!! I was visiting someone in town and had some radiator hissing and overflow. Took it to the service department here and went to lunch. They said they diagnosed the issue and found that it needed a new head gasket for $2,200. We said let us think about it. Then decided to have it towed back to Phoenix so we could have our mechanic look at it first. When we told the service department here, they said oh it had a radiator cap malfunction also . We got it home and put a new cap on it and have driven it 3,000 miles over 6 months, including a trip to Utah with no head gasket problems.So they were either trying to take advantage of out-of-town Travelers or did a major wrong diagnosis. Since they did not mention the broken radiator cap when they called to give an estimate, I would think it is probably taking advantage of desperate Travelers.I recommend finding another mechanic who would be honest and just replace the cap.

I am very impressed with Findlay Honda in Flagstaff. While Ive had my Hondas serviced at Findlay Honda for many years, and Ive directed family members to Findlay for purchasing new and used vehicles, I just had a 5 star experience (really a 10 star experience) that cemented my positive feelings for Findlay Honda and, especially, Mimi Vessey, Service and Parts Director. I purchased a new Honda CR-V in 2017. I recently took it to Findlay Honda for routine maintenance. Upon picking up the vehicle, I was informed that 2 tires had worn down to the point that they needed to be replaced. I couldnt believe it. These are the original OEM tires and they only had 17,500 miles on them. I then learned that Honda doesnt warranty their OEM tires. Although I was an unhappy camper (to say the least) I ended up purchasing four new tires from Honda. Mimi Vessey stood by me and worked with her regional rep to discount the purchase. I ended up only paying for two new tires (plus an alignment). Hats off to Mimi for being customer focused. She went to the mat for me in this situation and I cant thank her enough. In fact, the entire service department at Findlay Honda does a fantastic job. They are professional, helpful, honest, and friendly.

We moved to Cottonwood and were in need of a new Honda service provider. I drive a 2004 Honda Element that my wife swears I love far too much.Anyway, finding a new place to service your car (to me) is a bit like finding a new dentist. Ugh!! And I generally take my cars to the dealer for service. My wife called and spoke to Kyle, one of Findlays service guys, and felt very good. So we took it in at 150,000 for some scheduled maintenance and crossed our fingers.Very pleased. Can highly recommend, at least we can recommend Kyle. The most important thing to me is he never pushed on anything. They found a few minor things outside the scheduled things, but I didnt feel like I was being sold. And coming in from out of town, they pushed to get everything done in one day and gave us a loaner car. Well take our other Honda there for service and will likely buy our next car there as well.

It took me 4 trips to fix the problem. No, I’m not going back there ever!I took my 2018 Civic to a routine oil change/maintenance, plus it started to shake when driving so they did tire balance and alignment. I was told everything is good, tires and brakes are still good. After I left Findlay Honda I noticed some noise when I brake and car started shaking which didn’t happen before. I called them and took my car back a few days later. Then they told me I need 2 tires! I didn’t even drive 100 miles since I left Findlay, I was told my tires are all good for another 10,000 miles, now you are telling me to buy tires? After they installed 2 tires, low tire pressure light came on. So I took it back, they told me they didn’t calibrate the new tires right. Ok, no big deal, they quickly fixed it and I was on my way. Then it happened again! So back to the shop, again, they told me they didn’t calibrate right. Are you kidding me? If they can’t do something so minor thing right, how can I trust them to care my car? So, no, don’t go to the service department, I don’t trust them.

Really nice service department.Update: After purchasing a used vehicle I had some problems with the car. Reached out to the manager/service advisor and was taken seriously immediately, which is awesome. After assessing the situation, it was revealed that the repair would be no cost to me, which I did not expect at all! We quickly set up a service appointment and once my car was in, I was given a loaner vehicle, and Riley from sales and Woodrow from the service department were in touch with me for every update on the repair status. Overall, awesome customer service from someone who purchased an older used car.

I had been searching for a used Toyota Tacoma Off Road with particular features and found one at Findlay Honda Flagstaff. I also had a trade-in. I contacted Dylan and spoke with him over the phone. He offered an initial price on my trade-in which was low; however he was upfront and said he needed to err on the side of caution with the trade not being seen - which understood & I appreciated. Another dealer had simply low-balled me without explanation and I never heard from them again. I made the drive to Flagstaff where Dylan was busy so I worked with Michelle and Riley. The team was very cordial. After a test drive Riley made an offer on my trade and put together numbers for the Tacoma. After some back and forth a deal was reached and I was pleased. A friend was with me who worked in the auto industry for 10 years and he was pleasantly surprised at the dealership and numbers presented. Hats off to Michelle, Riley and Dylan for a positive experience with this purchase as well as Donna in Finance. It was worth the almost 2-hour drive to make this happen. Entered contact information to receive lowest price. Received call from Jimmy, explained that I was requesting lowest price and had entered information to receive it as advertised on website. He stated he would email the out the door lowest price to me. Waited for email. Received call later that night from Travis, he left voicemail. Then the following day received call from Jimmy who left a voicemail at 11:08am, then called and hung up less than ten minutes later, then received a third call from Jimmy by 11:38am. So in thirty minutes received three calls from same representative who promised the email the prior day and did not follow through with it. Told him I was not pleased with the lack of follow through nor the three calls from him in a thirty minute period. He tried to continue to push questions about who “they” were competing with. Informed him it wasn’t relevant as he never followed through with the initial information and instead pushed three calls in a thirty minute period. Told him taking business elsewhere I don’t conduct business with such poor customer service companies.

I started working with Sean in October of 2019 knowing full well it was going to be a journey as I knew what I wanted but had to take care of finances in a way that I could be sure Id be good with my car financing. Knowing this, Sean was patient with me, never pressured me, stayed in contact monthly until FINALLY I was ready to purchase at the end of January 2020. Last week, I had once-in-a-life-time experience in AZ. My wife and I were traveling to Grand Canyon and after 6 hour hiking, we found a problem in our car (electric steering wheel problem). We had to tow it to Williams and then to Findlay Honda next day. It took them almost 24 hr since they had to check everything and it SAVED OUR LIVES! People in Honda (in particular, Mimi) wanted to make sure our car was safe but the problem was bigger than we thought. So, eventually, we had to renew the lease there. Jeff at the sales dept was a great help. He finished the process so quick and efficiently. He did even set up our towing hitch. In retrospect, we were extremely lucky. What if it happened while I was driving? And what if there were no such great people like Mimi, Jeff, and some others (sorry, I dont remember your names but I will also remember you)? Thank you, thank you, and thank you guys! Once again, you guys saved our lives!

Horrible humming sound in sales area waiting room, so obnoxious my head started hurting. Service waiting room, not much better. Fluorescent lights buzzing. Cant sit outside due to the fowl smell coming from the Purina plant. And no environmental awareness re bottled water ☹ Really disheartening to see this being offered rather than encouraging people to bring and reuse/refill their own water bottles (Maybe its a COVID thing. Lets hope).

Findlay Honda got my dream car to me all the way in Colorado, and with incredible kindness and professionalism. I have been searching for a specific 2019 Honda Fit for four months now, and none were coming to Colorado. I discovered the exact car I wanted at Findlay Honda in Flagstaff, AZ, but when my local Honda dealer declined to make a dealer trade happen, I lost hope of getting my dream car (especially since the Honda Fit factory in Mexico flooded recently). Then Scott Trent at Findlay entered the picture. He let me know that I could buy directly from Findlay and that he would arrange the 700+ mile transport at a cost I could afford. Scott worked with me to ensure I got the exact accessories I wanted (e.g., all-weather floor mats, door edge guards, cargo tray), that the price was fair (better than the local no-haggle Honda dealer offered!), and that the process was incredibly smooth, considering it all happened over the phone. Donna put together all of the paperwork and was incredibly organized and quick getting it to me. 6 days after the last of the paperwork was signed, my dream car arrived at my house. Scott was available and easy to communicate with throughout the entire process, made sure it arrived okay, and has been willing to answer my post-delivery questions. I am so impressed with Findlay. Scott treated me like I was ordering a custom Lamborghini even though I was getting one of the least expensive cars they sell. I am incredibly happy with my new car and so grateful to Findlay Honda.

I have been going to Findlay Honda since they opened. The staff there has ALWAYS gone out of their way to take excellent care of my car and me. They always explain clearly what needs to be done to maintain my car, and work with me to help me keep it AFFORDABLE. EVERY time I have gone in for services, help, or with questions, the staff has been extremely helpful. Being a female, there have been times at other locations when I have been taken advantage of because of my gender... Im sure some of you know that drill! That has not been the case at Findlay Honda. All of the folks I have dealt with at Findlay Honda are polite, friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable about their respective areas... that makes each of them a professional! I have had the pleasure or purchasing and maintaining 2 Honda Civics via Findlay Honda. For purchasing vehicles and maintaining them, you cannot find any place in Arizona better than Findlay Honda. My husband and I travelled over 3 1/2 hours to buy a car from the team at Findlay, and we would do it all over again! This was a truly enjoyable car buying experience, from start to finish. Scott provided us with ongoing, timely information about all of our options prior to making the trip. Since Scott wasnt available on the day we actually made the trip to the dealership, he arranged for another salesperson (Shelby) to take care of us. Shelby stepped right in; his knowledge about all aspects of the Ridgeline (and other vehicles) was quite impressive. The GM (Randy) introduced himself to us, and seemed sincerely interested in understanding what we were looking for... Randy, the sales manager, spent countless hours procuring the exact vehicle we wanted from another dealer. Finances were handled quickly and painlessly by Donna. We also appreciated the extra effort put forth by the driver who delivered our vehicle, and the shop folks who did the final detailing to get us ready for the road. Every team member was helpful, professional, friendly, and enjoyable to spend time with. We will definitely make another 3 1/2 trip to Findlay for our next car! About two weeks ago, I reached a milestone at the age of 65. I bought my very first vehicle from a new car dealership. This was a big step for me and the experience was pleasant and easy because my salesman, Sean, was so helpful, knowledgeable and patient. I had a lot of questions, and what he didnt know right offhand, he found the answer immediately. Sean helped me understand the process of buying an almost new car,and even set up my phone and radio stations for me. He explained how everything worked and even said if I forgot something, to call and we would go over it again. This young man was polite, respectful, amiable, and is an asset to this business. Ive always preferred taking my vehicles to the dealership for servicing. It may be cheaper to find a discount service shop, but I think the dealership has always provided better service and more value. My most recent visit to Finlay Honda Flagstaff confirm this.My battery in my 2009 Pilot was dead in my driveway when I tried to go to work. I called the dealership and they immediately sent someone to jump my car so I could make it to work on time. They then inspected the battery and found/fixed a loose terminal. Battery was still in good shape. All for no charge. I was fully prepared to pay for a new battery and appreciated their help and honesty. Will be back for that new battery when the time comes!

I was very pleased with the personnel at Findlay Honda in Flagstaff. I was greeted warmly and they took my information very quickly for what I needed done. Then showed me to the very clean waiting room where coffee and refreshments were available. I was informed how long the service would take and it was done in that time frame. Then the service representative met with me and went over all that was done and what was needed to be done in the near future. I was not pressured in any way. The office help was very cordial and took care of my needs quickly and offered a bottle of water. The whole experience was pleasant and the cost was fair.
