David helped me get a silver dollar coin and was very helpful! The place is awesome just to walk through, but the staff was really friendly! If you ever need a silver dollar, this is the place to go! Also, they have a new address at 1996 E Rte 66. Would definitely go there again!

I know absolutely nothing about coins but Ive had a bag of old ones from my grandmother for ages. They appraised my coins for free and even gave me a coin protector thingy for one even though I decided not to sell them. Very happy with my experience here, definitely worth checking them out!

I was referred to American Bullion and Coin by a friend. Being from out of town I wanted to stop by and see this store when passing through Flagstaff. Lucky for me they are open 6 days a week as I came though town on a Saturday. I was amazed by the large inventory and the diversity of coin. Prices were very fair and the staff was easy to deal with. I can’t wait till my next trip through AZ so I can stop again.

I heard from a friend about the store and thought I should check it out. It ended up being a nice little hobby shop which, has a very kind owner. I am a coin collector and would recommend it to other collectors. Every time I go there I enjoy it, and I learn something new almost every time I go there.

I was new to silver / gold investing and started looking around to make purchases. I went to several pawn shops and was turned off by the vibe and bad attitudes. When I stepped in American Bullion & Coin I immediately knew I was in the right place. David was extremely helpful and took the time to tell me a good bit about investing in silver. Ive since been back many times and always feel Im getting a more than fair deal. Its also an adventure seeing the interesting treasures available there. My son often walks out with a fun toy too!

Its more of a pawn-shop now. Youll do ok buying precious metals here, but theyll skin you when you sell, and not even blink. Theyll beat the pawns, but only by a couple bucks. Sell elsewhere.

I just started collecting coins a couple months ago. The first time I stopped in the owner, David, let me ask all the questions I had and was far more helpful than I expected. When I was done with all my questions, he let me look at all the coins I was interested in and didnt try to sell me on anything. The customer service here is great! I would recommend this shop to anyone looking to invest in coins, silver, gold, etc.

Very surprised to see any negative ratings regarding Davids shop, most likely the bad reviews are from low class individuals who do not understand the industry. David Tackett conducts business in an honest and admirable manner. David is the kind of person who will go out of his way to help you out. I have done business with David for about a year on a somewhat large scale. I will tell you this, the man is honest. This is my true opinion.

Do not buy gold from these crooks. The second my deal was closed I lost $20,000. Be very very careful if You deal with them. I will never buy here again.

Terrible customer service here!!!The manager isnt willing to negotiate on any of the garbage thats just sitting around! It seems like they dont want to part with anything!If youre looking for coins, the best coin dealers are located in Prescott. Also, take your scrap silver & gold anywhere else but to this place! In addition, their new location is quite a dump. Its very dirty and cluttered. Dont waste your time here! I give it 3-6 more months before the doors close forever.

If youre looking for a dishonest, disloyal, fake, lowlife coin dealer, then this is your place! David is by far the saddest excuse for a dealer in numismatics. After selling a coin to him for 2000 dollars, he decided that he was ripped off and demanded the 2000 dollars back as I was leaving the store. After getting yelled at and berated for 5 minutes, he called the cops on me!! I waited in the store calmly for the police while hes begging me for the money back and making multiple deals. This was the worst experience I have ever had in this industry and I just hope someone reads this and benefits from my experience with this sad pathetic man and stays far away from this place.
