The team at Firestone Florence has always gone above and beyond to provide the best customer service. Chuck recently went out of his way to obtain parts that would safely see me and my family on our way for our vacation road trip. Cannot say enough good things about this store and the Florence Forestone team.
Brought my work truck in for a oil change at 730AM on a Sat and when I FINALLY came to pick it up it was sitting in the shop waiting for permission to change the battery. Didnt receive one phone call from a employee in regards to this. I guess they assumed I would psychically know more work needed to be done. If you like tinely work and communicative staff dont go here.
I want my money back as this place did a bogus diagnostic and couldn’t find out anything. They said they would hold my vehicle that broke down in area anyways unless I paid for their diagnostic fee. I know it’s bogus because autozone previously did a check and said o2 sensor needed replaced, but this place wouldn’t even tell me what they found on their diagnostic and wouldn’t fix vehicle without diagnostic. I wish I could give this place 0 stars. I had no choice to take it here as my vehicle broke down in area. I took it to another mechanic locally in the same area and they new what the problem was. I wouldn’t recommend this place. I want a refund since they are incapable of doing a simple diagnostic or I’ll complain to the BBB.
Iam valued Firestone customer I just had the worse time there in florence SC I will not ever step foot back in your place I will drive clear to sumter from here on out for service.... I had a family member got stranded there in the firestone parking lot. She went in there to have a tire fixed and they would not help her only because she didnt have the money to buy one of there new tires so we drove around looking for a tire to get her by till her new set came in. We found one over at Express tire across town so I raced over there to get the tire bring it back to see of Firestone would put it on the rim for us so the car wouldnt be stranded anymore there and they refused us service.So we had too air the tire up quick from a plugin in air pump just to get it moved across the street then I raced the tire back to express tire where we bought the used tire to get by with got it back in the car and went on with our day.
I scheduled an appointment to have the car serviced at 3 pm and arrived before 2 pm after driving 45 minutes to be told that our appointment wasn’t in there system, that the online doesn’t upload to there appointments. This is very unprofessional to have the option to schedule online knowing it doesn’t work!!!This location came highly recommend by my son. Needless to say we will not be back!
The guys at Firestone - 5 Points are the hardest working people I’ve ever seen. Drive by late on a Sunday and they’re still there, working as hard as they do on Monday morning. Great tires at great prices!

Went in for alignment and tire rotation. Prior to arrival 3 center caps were on my vehicle. Upon leaving, I noticed one was missing but paperwork states 2 were missing. Not true and not pleased about the lie! Was told another center cap is on order from Toyota and will be notified when it comes in. Overall customer service was great but not pleased with loss part!

I called to get a tire as soon as they open the guy I spoke to said they aren’t taken appointment I told him I really needed a tire he said come in as soon as I get off at 6 pm I got there at 6:15 and the lady didn’t even try and look me up even knowing the guy locked me in just because it’s 40 minutes until they close I live a hour away and couldn’t get something that takes 25 done when I’m not even close to where I live but not a good excuse for me I don’t think they wanted to help if I’m wrong let me know

There was a noise coming from my engine. I took my car to Firestone to diagnose the issue. They quoted me $1,400 to fix my A/C compressor and replace a belt. I called a different mechanic that quoted me $1,100 for the same job. After taking my car to another mechanic in a small town and letting him diagnose the problem with my car, I was advised that nothing is wrong with my A/C compressor. He replaced a belt and sent me on my way. Be careful.
I love Firestone they always do great quality work. They let you know everything that is wrong with your car. Firestone will always have my business.

I was halfway through a 10 hour drive and my Jeep broke down. Jessica at Firestone was extremly helpful! I was able to leave the Jeep to get fixed while I continued my trip in a rental. I felt totally confident that Firestone would be able to fix the car and they did. I was able to pick it back up on my return drive a few days later. My husband was in contact with Rick at Firestone as kept in the loop of every step. A BIG THANK YOU to Jessica and Rick! Great customer service and excellent car of our vehicle.
We were traveling through Florence SC on our way home when the water pump went out on our truck. It was New Years Day and we knew we would have limited options. I did a quick Google search and found a local Firestone service center. Thank you to Patrick Stanley and Rick Wheeler for all that you did to help us and get us back on the road.
Told I would be able to get an oil change “right away” without waiting on the phone. Was there for 2 hours and the store is filthy. Never again

I ran over a nail yesterday in Florence, SC. This Firestone was the closest place to where it happened. I called and explained to Chuck what happened, and why I was in a hurry. He told me to come on in. They looked pretty busy when I got there, but they had me in and out, and back on my way in about an hour. An hour! If I lived in Florence, this store is where I would be doing business. Thank you Chuck, and all the employees there.
Great service! We were traveling back home from Myrtle Beach with our fifthwheel camper when we notice one of our tires was separating. We called Firestone and they had the tire we needed. They got the tire mounted and balanced quick and got us back on the road. They were really friendly too. Thank you Rick!
Patrick Stanley and his manager Chuck Kirven desire a huge THANK YOU for coming to my rescue today. My wife and I are in the process of moving from NC to FL and today my Toyota TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) light came on. I thought it might be due to pulling a fully loaded 5X8 U-Haul trailer AND the fact that my vehicle was also fully loaded. I was partly right but Patrick confirmed what the problem was. All 4 tires had become overheated nearly 10 psi above normal so he let some air out of each tire and the light is now no longer on. What makes this event special is that I just walked in and asked Chuck if someone could help me with the problem and he immediately had Patrick come to the rescue and so in about as long as its taking me to write this - the problem was fixed! As we used to say in the Navy, Kudos to all!
I came by first thing in the morning to have a small nail removed from one of the tires of my wifes car. I had removed the tire and brought it with me. I was told the wait time would be very long for such a simple task. I left and repaired the issue myself with a patch kit from a local store in roughly 5 minutes. Unfortunate.

I’m by far appalled and livid due to the lack of customer service and insensitivity to the customer .The lack of professionalism and common courtesy is by far disgraceful.I was a longtime firestone customer up until today 08/23/2020 when I came in the the Hoffmeyer firestone location to get an oil change .The representative in which I spoke to was Grayson .He was quite rude, abrupt, unprofessional and insensitive through the entire transaction .He didn’t listen to what I was asking and he put multiple customers (in which we’re walk ins as myself in front of me)while I waited for over three or more hours to be serviced .I will not ever come back to firestone to have any of my vehicle serviced and I will not recommend firestone for any car repairs.To include I will be calling the store manager to express my sustain with Grayson poor quality service, professionalism and lack of insensitivity to time and properly coordinating customers .
COVID-19 playground no cleaning or anything going on and that guy chuck is rude and had to cut my tire pricing in half. Left and returned 3 hrs later and car was in same spot. Will never visit there again

This was my second time here. Getting my fleet vehicle serviced with a scheduled appointment. I was there for over an hour and after I asked when I would be serviced I was told it would be a few minutes. Another 20 min came by and my car was still sitting there. After I addressed the issue, the staff was very non sympathetic. They did not even try to correct the issue or provide an explication for the long wait.
SLOW! If they say an hour, plan on 3 or 4. Had an appointment scheduled and after 1 hour and 20 minutes my truck was still sitting outside, just to get a screw removed and tire patched...guy behind counter kept saying a few more minutes, I finally just left with out the repair and took it to a different shop.

Stopped due to a low pressure light that came on late the night before. Traveling to Pennsylvania and apprehensive about getting back on the highway. They couldn’t have been nicer or concerned for my safety. Was on the road within an hour. Welcome us in with our dog and offered refreshments. All of this and it was a free courtesy check. The staff deserves 10 stars👍

Although they fixed the damage they caused to my car, I will never go there again. Shocking enough I found out recently that they also damaged my mothers car as well and had to fix it.Never again and would never reccomend.

I had brought my truck in knowing very well I needed upper and lower ball joints (I am very mechanically included) but I am from northern Michigan only in Florence for work with no time to do the job myself. Called scheduled a appointment. I dropped truck off before work and picked it up when I got off. $1400 and some change, they noted I needed front brakes as well I said I will do those myself. About two weeks later truck starts pulling one way again which is about the time I decided to do my brakes. As I install new brakes I see there is not one but multiple bolts loose on the front end of my truck hence why I assumed it would be pulling one way. I call they say bring it in (which is hard I work 6 days a week 10 hour days) so I bring it in with a appointment for 330 Saturday. I sat in the lobby gave them my keys and waited until 10 minutes till closing time and my truck did not move from where I parked it, I came back the next day very upset that I wasted half a day for nothing they said my BRAND NEW balljoints were messed up already and needed to be replaced under warranty I said okay let’s get it done and I mentioned the bolts that were loose which was all bolts and bushings that needed to be loosened and tightened to do a proper alignment. Picked the truck up last Tuesday drove it maybe 60 miles since and the truck continued to pull to the left and started making a clunky noise when I turn I had a buddy look at the front end while I was parked and turning the wheel and there was multiple things loose still, also the SAME balljoints that were originally installed the first go round and none of the hardware I mentioned was checked or tightened or anything so I go back worried at this point it’s so bad my safety and the safety of others is in danger due to the front end of my truck that hauls a 15k pound camper around the states. I tell them I just want my money back the truck will be going to the dealership from here on out no matter where I am and they say they are sorry that there guys (the one who installed the parts and did the “alignments” and the guy who double checks the work) that they missed all these same issues THREE TIMES of me bringing the truck to the shop. I got my money back I have a appointment for the dealership to go thru my entire truck now that who knows what all is needed due to driving with a completely lose front end on a 1 ton truck. Over all I am very unhappy with the work and the service other then me getting my money back and wasting 5 days of finding rides to work and taking time off work to have a truck “fixed”
Pulled into hotel 5:30 Friday night. Coolant blew out of my system. By luck ford was closed for service but lady there referred me to Firestone. Ford service closed Saturday.So I called Firestone and spoke with DonnaI needed to make my way south on Saturday August 3. She arranged for towing my car and getting me looked at early Saturday. She even picked my wife and me up at my hotel Saturday am so we can be on site after diagnosis.We are not used to this kind of service where we live. They secured a part drove us back to hotel while they waited for part and did work -about 3 hours and car was ready. Alex was our mechanic. We were on the road by 3:30 Saturday.These guys are great. Perhaps there are some stories of dissatisfaction because I know you can’t please everyone.Donna texted us a few hours later while we were well on our way to check on us.Totally recommend this place. Good fortune shined on my wife and me. First we had problem at hotel and not on road and second - finding Firestone. I thank them

These Guys are awesome! I am not a person who does online reviews but I had to for this group. My general statement for my knowledge of cars is... gas is on the right, brake is on the left, and the tires are round. I don’t do automotive. Im just not that girl. I took my truck, a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500, into these guys because it just feels funny and it makes a noise when I turn. I told them I would be traveling to Texas shortly and I needed the vehicle safe. They performed the diagnostics and told me what things needed to be done immediately, what things needed to be done as soon as I could afford it and what could wait or I could do myself. I had no clue what any of this meant and they took the time to explain it to me. They told me what each diagnostic meant and even drew me a picture when needed.Ive always dealt with a small town mechanic for my vehicle maintenance but I will always take my truck back to Firestone and definitely the Firestone in Florence when I can.
Great experience ... I was just switching out tires and rims after denting my rims from hitting a pothole ... the service tech was exceptional and the advisor was friendly ... took a little longer than expected but was treated well the whole time! Got more than I expected for a very reasonable price! Will be back!
Had a quote done for front end work. They listed the same service, with slightly different words, twice on multiple items. When I pointed out that they intended to charge me double for the same work, they couldnt explain it. Had the work done somewhere else for less than half their quote. Someone with less technical understanding would likely not have caught it. Beware.
This particular Firestone location has always been 5 star, every time, every way. The people working behind the counter and the techs all are very polite and helpful. I will continue to bring my vehicles here for service.

Took my vehicle in to get an oil change. After the technician Dominique finished he recommend on the invoice that I get my air filter changed. They were unaware that I sat there the entire time and watched him. He did not check my air filter. If you take your car here be sure to watch the technician closely. They will lie about performing services to scam money from you!
Over priced. Made an appt for brakes to be done. Waited 1 and 1/2 hours for them to have inspected vehicle to come back and tell me I needed brakes. I let them know I knew I needed brakes which is why I made the appt. Wondered what they were doing the whole time I was waiting? Left and went to T and T Southside.
I had an appointment already scheduled, but had to call this morning to see if I could bring my dog due to the weather. They quickly said pets are welcomed and were very friendly towards he and I when we arrived. One of the workers even came outside to ask us a question while we were walking in the rain.

I am from Cincinnati Ohio and I was on my way home from Myrtle Beach on Friday September 7, 2018 when my serpitine belt broke. I called AAA and had my car towed to Firestone, They were able to order the part and replace the belt in two hours. Thank you Florence South Carolina Firestone. The staff was friendly and helpful. 2.5 hours later, and my oil change still isnt complete. Pretty sure Chevy came out with a new model year in the time it has taken to get this done. I have visibly aged. They must get through at least 7-10 cars a day at this rate.finally got my car back and started driving as Im now considerably late for the rest of my day. look down and notice that my glove compartment has been ripped off and is laying on the passenger floor. go somewhere else dont waste your money here!

This place is really something. Took my 98 expedition in for front brake issues. They came back with $2600 in recommended maintenance. Although the truck did need the parts replaced, for this review, lets just focus on the front brakes...$834.95 to replace pads, rotors, calipers, and purge brake fluid. I bought all the parts and fixed the brakes myself for less than $200. They charge $20 for brake fluid, $60 in labor. Brake pads that cost less than $40, they charged $60. Labor for pad brake pad change...$155. You get the idea--its a rip off.
Quality of work is excellent. Mechanics are excellent. Front end staff are not. I came in one afternoon to ask if I could get my brakes serviced, they ask for my last name and intentionally interrupted me to ask me not to spell it. Really didnt understand the hostility, so I just left.
Perfect, always get great service here. Warranties are fantastic and they stand behind their work. Be loyal and they are loyal back, cant find that anymore.
The battery keeps running down. Firestone coated the battery terminals with anti-corrosion and then put the connector on. This created an insulating layer between connector and terminal, which prevented adequate charging. The anti-corrosion goes on after the cable is secured to the terminal, not before. I doubt any of the techs are ASE certified.
On the way back from New York we blew an inside duel on our South wind motor home.We called around and found them open so we limped on in there. I had my grandmother of 80 yrs old, my two daughters and my wife with me.I asked the tire guy inside for some help and he refused. I could only buy tires, not get help putting them on or balancing them. My 16 year old daughter, tiny as a twig rolled tires in and out and helped me change them. Fore stone is a sorry place for help. All them men in there and they arent about customer service, my daughter was more help then any of the men in the shop.I gave one star for the service. They were nice but they werent terribly helpful.

We lost the brakes in my f250 on a Saturday night. Sunday morning I had it towed to Firestone. They worked on my truck all day and stayed open two hours after closing time just to get us back on the road. I cant say enough about the great service we got from all the staff at Firestone. This place sucks! Passing thru and had a flat, we put spare on and and stopped here to just get it plugged and was told 6 hr wait. Obviously no management at this place. They should have had a worker there that does minor repairs.

Got a flat on I95, hobbled into Florence, and found this Firestone store. Very concerned, friendly, and efficient staff got us fixed up in no time. We were so impressed by the staff we decided to go ahead and replace all four tires instead of just the cut tire (they were close to replacement time anyway). All four tires replaced, our spare put away, and front end aligned in a little over an hour. Instead of getting back home to NC after dark, we got home before 5:30 pm. Thank you Firestone folks in Florence, SC.
If you need seven day service availability enroute to or from Florida, this is the place! I arrived at 0630 on a Sat. a.m. and by opening time at 0700 there were four customers waiting. They did an emergency repair promptly and cheerfully and suggested a larger scope of front end services that I did not have time to take advantage of. This place was jumping!

BewareMy mom went to get her tire patched. After waiting 40 minutes, the guy said it was impossible because of the location of the hole. He said, she was going to have to buy a new tire. AND another looked bad, so he recommended buying 2 new tires. AND he said she needed an alignment AND he said she needed new wipers. What he didnt know was that she had already found the nail causing the leak, and she knew it was not impossible to fix! She just didnt tell him that.She left, took her car to wal mart, and asked their staff if the location of the hole was going to cause any problems...of course they say no, and she got it patched for 10 bucks. No problems since and no mention of an alignment or bad tires. Oh, and she bought the wipers there since wal mart didnt try to sell her 100 products and services.Beware, either theyre boldly trying to scam you out of hundreds or have 0 idea what theyre doing. Either way, you lose big time.They have lost a customer for life, and she will share her story if anyone asks about Firestone Complete Auto Care at Hoffmeyer Road.
