Palmetto Vision Center made every step along the way a pleasant one. I was well pleased with the entire staff. My appointment was made quickly that was an added plus. Dr. Andrews and his associates took the time to do a thorough and extensive exam. That means a lot. The doctor was very patient courteous and professional throughout the exam.Im not one to like to visit doctors offices of any kind but this experience was a good one. Absolutely the best experience I have had for eye exam and finding the right glasses. Dr. Lee was very through and explained fully what was going on and then Kayla helped me find the right frames and choose the best lenses for my needs. The entire staff made me feel welcome and not rushed. This is the only practice I would ever recommend to family and friends.

I have been a patient of Dr Andrew’s and Dr Lee for a long long time. They have taken excellent care of me and their office staff is very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend.

The team in the lab is incredibly unprofessional. I spoke to 3 different people wondering where my glasses are. It has been a month since I placed the order for them. The first time I called I was told I would be called back the following Monday. The next time I was called I was told that I was speaking with an associate that apparently no longer works there. Today I called them and they told me that there is no way they can refund them because suddenly they are to be delivered soon and that the office manager is not available for me to speak with. The customer service here leaves much to be desired.

I have been a patient of Dr. Andrews for 30+ years. I have never been disappointed in his professionalism.He is very kind and throughly explains everything. Dr. Lee is also great (I was actually his 4th grade teacher- he was an excellent student then and an excellent doctor now).I highly recommend Palmetto Vision Center.

I just go back from my first eye appointment since moving from Florence, my glasses were strongly over-prescribed to the point that my new eye doctor asked me if I was experiencing persistent headaches from how wrong my prescription was.Also, I was told that I had astigmatism from my appointment at Palmetto vision center, but just learned that the contacts that they gave me there were not fitted for astigmatism when they told me that they were.I suffered with poor vision unknowingly for a couple years because of this place.

We were told we would get a call back because there was an insurance issue. A week later and no call back. So when we called Palmetto Vision they said there was no insurance issue and we could pick out glasses. Problem is we had already picked out glasses, but they seemed to have no records of the glasses we had picked. Furthermore, the manager was rude when I explained that we did not want to come back in to pick out glasses or do anything else because we had done everything and we were under the impression the glasses would be ordered after the insurance was cleared.

3 weeks and still no contacts. Plus when I called was hung up on 2 times. Finally got through and said they would call me back. Still no return call. NOT recommended at all!

I had a peice of metal in my eye, i called just a few minutes before closing time and the women in the office were very nice and extremely helpful. They called doctor Lee right away and he met me there after hours to get it out my eye. He was extremely nice and helped me tremendously. I will definitely be doing more business with them.

Could not ask for a more competent caring person than Dr. Lee. He is a man of great integrity and will always do what is best for his patients. He recently went out of his way to meet me after hours to treat my son who required immediate attention due to trauma. The staff is very nice as well and the office has a great selection of glasses to choose from. This is so poor. twice my free vision exam has been coded wrong and billed to the wrong insurance company now i get a bill from a collection agency for a FREE service. owners wife is absolutely no help. i guess unless you have cash they are not qualified to handle your claim.01/11/19 spoke with someone who could not tell me why my credit rating has been affected due to incompetence from this office. they waited over a year to file the claim and the insurance co. rejected based on the time factor. thanks to this office my credit rating dropped 22 pts for a service that is free from bcbs. shame. to bad the the doctors are so good and that some of the staff is so clueless. now does a business stay afloat with incompetent people. more tomorrow...........

Im rating Dr.Lee and not the whole office staff. He is one of the best optometrist I have ever hadI! Iam really upset they dont take my new vision insurance. I have been treated fairly rudely by the receptionists in the past. I think Dr. Lee is just very into his patients and doing exams that he doesnt realize that sometimes the receptionists can be a rude. The eye glass fitters always seem to be very helpful. I read other reviews where people said they were asked to leave. They must have been extremely rude themselves or something like that for them to be asked to leave the premises.

I initially had some issues but after talking with the Dr. Lee he made sure all of my concerns were addressed and that I was satisfied.

Are you kidding me with your service. Angery rude . Trying to sale bent glasses, added extra charges on the bill. After questioning the charges we were told to take our business else were. Gladly what a mess this place is.

Bought a pair of glasses on insurance and had everything sorted out only to be charged additional money two months later. Upon going in and inquiring about why this occurred they were unapologetic and seemingly very angry that we questioned this charge at all. They claimed that they couldnt figure out the charge at the point of purchase so we were also concerned that we would randomly be charged more for a second pair that we were then going to purchase. Also attempted to sell us bent floor model frames at full price until we requested otherwise and seemed angry to accommodate that as well. We actually got forced refunded and told to leave for inquiring these basic concerns to their customer service. They seemed to take a lot of pleasure in kicking us out and it was quite rude. Overall avoid. There are friendlier, and cheaper eyeglass establishments that wont attempt to scam you and get upset when you call them out in Florence.
