I got some succulents and a fairy planter this summer at Green Valley and they have thrived! I love them and I managed to keep them alive!

Needed a pallet of grass and it looked good so we bought it.

The workers were great. They loaded mulch quickly and safely. I will be going back for more!

Green Valley Landscaping made our back yard landscaping surrounding our pool look beautiful! They did a wonderful job, was prompt, and completed everything perfectly to make our yard look wonderful!

Staff is very friendly and someone is always there to help and answer any questions. This is second time I have purchased flowers from them and both visits were enjoyable.

Jerks. Committed to lay sod for us in Haleyville Al. Then when our sod guy was ready to deliver he said he want interested anymore. Left us high and dry. Very unprofessional.

Ive driven past this place for years. Im so glad I finally stopped and checked it out! Ive been 3 or 4 times in the last 2 months. Ive bought flowers(annuals and perrineals) fruit, baled hay, bagged hay, everything Ive gotten has been top notch, excellent quality. The staff are exceptionally helpful, friendly and professional. This is 1 of my new Favorite places.

Awesome variety of plants and delicious foods. only complaint is that almost all of the food and a lot of the plants have plastic packaging so its hard to be zero-waste if you want certain things. prices are a little high but always worth it because the plants always thrive. the honey is delicious.

BEWARE! There are two separate businesses in Green Valley: the market and flowers and the landscaping. You can judge the flowers for yourself and should get a good quality product. I would recommend Porters just across the river for a much larger selection.Now the BEWARE. I hired Ken Irby to do my landscaping. His crew did a good job. As soon as the job was done and the sod laid I was very satisfied. THEN IT RAINED. I took pictures of the washed-out sod to the business and showed it to one of the landscapers. He immediately said they did not put pins in the sod so it washed away. I then went into the office and showed MR. IRBY. He said he could fix it for over $1000.I stated that since it was his workers error it should not be that much. He and I agreed to $800 to fix. I know. Why should I have to pay anything? As of today, November 4, 2020, I have not gotten responses from e-mails or calls. I still have a mess and have waited too late to resod because MR. IRBY did not keep his word. IF YOU DEAL WITH THIS MAN GET IT IN WRITING AS HE IS NOT TO BE TRUSTED.In response to Mr. Irby.You try and make yourself look like you will take care of a problem you created. (And charge me $800 to do so). I REMIND YOU. I came by your business and left a message, I called you, left a message, I texted you and you did not contact me at all.(I can send copies) You had my phone number, email and text and YOU INVITE ME TO CALL YOU. I HOPE PEOPLE SEE THROUGH YOUR RESONSE THAT YOU WILL TAKE CARE OF us. Please do not worry about the problem I will take care of it.

I direct events for Billy Reid in Florence, Alabama and Green Valley is an incredible partner that elevates our event environments in a major way. Not only do they supply stunning greenery, but they maintain them by watering and servicing on time deliveries and pick ups. Their staff also has a great understanding of venues, event flow, and can provide ideal placement of their inventory without direction. When I book Green Valley to be a part of an event I dont have to worry about anything. They totally take care of making a venue look beautiful. We are grateful to work with them year after year.

The store great and the bread they sell is so good but this review is for the service. I do construction management and just completed a Taco Garage in Florence. We had a couple smaller landscaping projects there as it was an existing building. Ken was quick to come and check out what we had. His prices were fair and the service was great. Im looking forward to working with Green Valley in the future.

We looked at their website for their hours, it shows they are open till 6 but they close at 5. We wasted two trips trying to buy a Christmas tree because their hours are wrong on their website.

I have made a few purchases with these lovely people. I used to deliver cut firewood here, they are very friendly and are highly experienced in their line of work... All produce, decor, and flowers are kept fresh and beautifully displayed.

Just finished second project with Green Valley Nursery and a third to be starting soon. They have been very friendly and knowledgeable. Will recommend them highly to anyone

Paid $950 for a job poorly done because I was immediately threatened by the owner Ken Irby that I would be handed over to collections, although before the job was even started he personally told me I didn’t have to pay until I was happy with the job.First, he made an appointment to install a gravel driveway at our rental house on Monday. He (Green Valley Nursery & Landscape) never showed up that day. I questioned him, & he acted like he was doing me a favor by fitting me into his busy schedule. Told me he’d send a bobcat over to finish the job right then... I asked if the gravel was even at the job site, & he replied, “I have no idea! Guess I better check.” Wow! If that doesn’t tell you how unprofessional they are, I don’t know what does? Said he might be able to get the job done on Tuesday. I finally had him nail down a time for Friday, because I like a guaranteed job when I am paying for it. I felt like I had to babysit them to make sure the job would actually get done. Finally, the driveway was installed by people who are supposedly professionals. They literally just dropped off gravel & spread it out a bit. I’m not a professional landscaper, but all the research we found said that the gravel needed to be plate compacted through the process. He said they don’t do that, & he never promised me that. I only expected him to professionally & properly install a driveway... sorry, that’s what I thought they were. Professionals. Nope. He refused to fix the job, even though I was promised I wouldn’t have to pay until I was happy, & he would make it right. He told me he wanted to wash his hands of me, & wished I’d never bothered him. The gravel in this driveway is so loose that the first rain will wash it all out, it’s uneven, has a poorly graded slope that makes it hard to enter the drive without scraping the bottom of your car, & my husband couldn’t fit his Jeep in the carport anymore because there was so much gravel under it. They refused to fix it at the present cost, & said they would plate compact it for another $500. He said, “I’ll bill you, don’t pay it, & I’ll send you to collections. We’ll let the law handle it.” Unbelievable & awful experience. My husband & I could’ve done this job properly for as little as $700, but we decided to hire “pros” instead, & now, we are out $950, & it’s not even done right... meaning more expenses for us now. Do your research before hiring Ken Irby.

Green Valley re-landscaped every bed at my house, and it looks fantastic. They provided a variety of ideas for revitalizing our overgrown beds at varying price points. Once we decided what we wanted, the crew did quick work exactly to plan and didnt leave any trash or debris behind.

Best nursery in town! Great produce and plants, friendly and knowledgeable helpful staff, nice market items, and fresh local honey!! Also great prices!! Im so impressed and will be back for more garden plants!!

Being in Florence for a few months, I have discovered Green Valley Nursery and love going there. My favorite is that I find Chilton County peaches there. But their cantelopes are so sweet and juicy!

Just moved to the area. Went for the first time last week. Beautiful produce, healthy, lovely plants and a great staff of knowledgeable young people. Will return for some of those beautiful hydrangeas.
