I absolutely loved my experience there. They treated my four year old daughter like a she was a queen (even sent her home with a piece of cake), and gave me great service at a really great price. Everyone is extremely friendly and they obviously take very good care of their plants. The quality of service and product is second to none. Shout out to Becky for her amazing service and knowledge. By far the best garden center experience I have had the pleasure to encounter. Everyone should take their business to Maddox. I know I will.

Great tree selection. Landscaping and outdoor plants. Very few house plants.

Ordered topsoil from here. Paid a premium but wanted to support a local business. They said they would be here late morning and showed up around 1. Also, what they brought would have been better in a baseball infield rather than a lawn. Ill be taking my business elsewhere.

This was my first visit here and I have to say I will be using them for all my landscaping needs from now on the staff and prices cant be beat. I took the whole family and even though it was 30 minutes to close and I needed a scoop of stone and wanted to make a delivery order they were helpful and great the whole time. They deliver for very reasonable delivery fee and I got enough stone delivered to do tons of projects done around the house. They delivered the stone on time and called ahead two make sure that we were ready for them to drop it off. The delivery driver took a lot of care dropping the stone on our tarp. All around this was a great experience and the prices dont even compare to buying bags of stone at a big box store.

Great place. They have everything you need and early spring supplies. They are the only place I know in Northern Kentucky that carries sod. They have great help in the yard to help load your purchases and they are not only helpful but polite. Cant find that at the big box stores. Its not only great to help local business but you get better service and usually a better product. Maddox has great trees and shrubs and they seem to thrive much better.

First time stopping at this store to help local businesses. I stopped in looking for hanging plants. The first lady I ran into flicked her wrist at me, I guess in an attempted waive. The 2nd lady was watering plants and said hi. 3rd person was a guy with his head buried in his phone. Im not selling to this store they are selling to me. They do have a wide selection, but lack in customer help.

They are a wonderful local business, it is family owned for over fifty years. They have very reliable staff, and they do great work making beautiful landscaping at your home or business. You can also go in and buy whatever you need at their shop

Ordered 20 bags of mulch for delivery. Great price, great service. The driver showed up on time, called shortly before arriving to let us know he was on his way AND the mulch was w/o rocks or mold. Which I cant say for the extra 4 bags of Scotts I had to pick up after the fact at Ace Hardware of which 3 had mold and 2 came with assorted rocks mixed in. This was our first time dealing with Maddox and well definitely be back next year.

I have been purchasing plants and landscape materials from Maddox for many, many years. In fact, they designed and installed the landscaping in front of my house about 18 years ago. Ive never been unhappy with their services. They have a large selection of plants, and the staff is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommend!

A great local garden center. We bought top soil and compost/manure. It was very clean soil without debris. Perfect for my garden bed.

If you own a landscaping business or plan on landscaping your own home this is the only nursery You will need. I could not believe the selection that they had. everything from small anuals up to large trees. They have a great selection of large shrubs trees and ground cover. I could not even count how many greenhouses they had on the property. And almost all were opened to the public. Very healthy plants although you will pay for quality. Most are not cheap. The staff is very knowledgeable and are able to help you pick out the best plants for your project.

I now have a beautiful River Birch and Red Maple in my yard from Maddox Nursery! The staff was very helpful in picking out my trees and the guys planting the trees did a great job. They shared a lot of knowledge and information on how to care for the trees to ensure they were cared for properly!

These guys are great. Ive been utilizing them for the past 5 years to deliver mulch and other various supplies needed for my yard. They are quick with their deliveries and the driver always does a professional job when dropping the bulk product in my driveway. Give them a call. You wont be disappointed.

Do not recommend Landscape service. The guys did not show good work ethic at all. All of my flower beds made, were not tilled properly and now have weeds. They started a job in April, and just finished in the end of June. When they showed up, they stayed on their phones more than actually working. I say when because we went weeks without even seeing anyone. I would never use this company again, and will never recommend it to anyone. I don’t even want to start on the last day of their “job” here, they rushed through planting my grass seed to just be done. Then wanna try to charge me as much as they are for their work. Haha I would never use them or buy from them again.

Professional landscape supplier and installation company. We needed top soil for a job we were doing close by so we went to maddox. They took care of our needs quickly and properly.

My wife and I decided to add a flower bed in the back of our house about 3 weeks ago and needed topsoil. We went to Maddox and purchased a bobcat scoop that the guys put in our truck. After unloading the dirt we realized would need much more for the project so went back and ordered a 6 scoop dumptruck load delivered to our house. The lady behind the counter was super helpful and the driver delivered the topsoil right on time. We will absolutely use them again for our next project!

After the tornado in 2012, we literally had a blank canvas in regards to landscape. Maddox Garden Center did an amazing job giving me the variety of plants etc.that I had asked for. I had one special request....they looked high and low until that request was filled. It was the only thing I had specifically asked for....Lupines.7 years later, with general upkeep, our landscape still looks amazing.One thing that I love about Maddox Garden Center is ....they say what they mean,and mean what they say.

Great friendly folks

I bought Knock Out Roses at Maddox, a yellow and a red one. They grew quite a bit by the end of summer and were beautiful. I am looking forward to seeing them this spring out of our breakfast nook window. Will have to check out Maddox again this spring as my other plants have done so well.

I went in to Maddox with a list of plants for the spring season. It was a long list to say the least. They spent over an hour walking through the nursery helping my wife and I find the plants they had in season. They also gave great advice on how to plant and where to plant. I would refer them to any of my friends or family. Everyone was very courteous and professional.

Big selection a little pricier but if your wanting something special this is your place.

Came here for the first time recently. There is a lot to look at here, you can find anything. Bought some flowers and some soil this time. All the employees were nice but Donald in particular was very helpful to me. I will definitely be doing business here in the future.

One of the best selections in Northern KY. Very helpful staff. Also, lots of decorative garden items. Prices tend to be higher than Lowes but if you are looking for things besides the standard petunias and geraniums, this is a great place to shop.

The team of people at Maddox did an AWESOME job! Attention to detail and quality was spot on.Drew helped to improve our initial design; Greg, Brian and Rob were fantastic with installation. It is obvious they each truly take PRIDE in their work and provided experienced based suggestions to overcome the obstacles faced. Our project was a 20’ x 35’ patio including sitting walls with lights, sidewalk, and a garden area. The project had delays but the quality was worth it. My wife and I are highly satisfied.

Selected three trees in May. Told at purchase ($1,200), about a month before they can get them planted. It took 2 months to get the trees planted.Very nice selection of trees. Landscapers easy to work with.

Be careful, if you have Rodney Crice come to your house for an estimate you might as well bend over, i have had 4 companies quote a small retaining wall job they ranged between $3100 to mid 4s which is understandable because different companies get different discounts on products and have different labor charges,this guy wanted to charge me $9870.37 what a complete waste of time.

We always get our mulch from maddox. Got our first 2 scoops and scrambling to finish we run out and need 2 mist scoops. Well thinking they were open till 8 we rush up there after 7 to them just locking up to go home. Instead of just saying there closed like you would expect and also completely understand doing so, they graciously open the gates back up and help us finish! Well never buy mulch any where else. Fantastic people!

Great example of a company with skill but no integrity. I have spent 6 months trying to resolve an issue with this company-- including having email confirmation that it would be fixed-- but they still fail to show up and resolve it. Thats right. They have agreed in email that it should be corrected... but still they havent. It represented just a small portion of a $4000 job I had them do -- and would take all of 20 minutes to fix. But they dont. They have talent for sure --- but no integrity behind that talent.
