If I could give TEN STARS I would! Ive been getting my mail from the Florence UPS Store for over a decade. The management leads with heart, and the staff is professional and FAST. Often I am in line behind people who are confused, and each time they are met with kindness and easy to understand explanations. Dont hesitate to do your shipping here, they are the nicest and most professional people you could hope for. THEEE best ever. ~Lisa

I went to do a drop off service today at my local ups store with my one year old son. Usually they’re very efficient and effective with having me in and out. Today’s experience was off by a long shot I walked in and the lady was very nice untilHer manger came over trying to up sale me on service to pack a box that’s already packed. I was really shocked and appalled because I’m here with my son my package is already prepaid for and there’s an dollar tree right next door. So I declined to pay the outrageous 1.99 for a box 5.99 for tape and 5.99 for service where all I had to do was walk next door and spend a dollar. When I returned they watched me tape the box struggle a bit cause I needed to keep my son close to me and tape. Nevertheless I will never return to this location again they need a new manager !! When I use to go there they always closed the box taped it and gave me service with a smile. I felt very isolated and weird dropping off this package with the snide remarks and rude manager telling me it would be the same price if I packaged it myself no ma’am it will not!.

RUDE, RUDE and RUDE!!!!!I I been there this morning to make some copies on irregular size paper that I did not have at home. I had the document on a flash drive. The younger woman yelled out that they dont take flash drive. Two younger high school age girls were in the background to witness this. I asked about notarizing something. Same attitude. I just left. Never to go back. The older couple long ago were very nice. Not sure if under new ownership.

I went to drop off a few Amazon returns. It has been years since I had been there. The women were not very friendly. I called to ask a question about the return, and the woman was very snide and sarcastic. I will not go back there. Its Its funny how the store replies to good reviews online, but hardly any replies to the negative reviews.

I needed to have some things laminated and the woman said it would take a couple of minutes for the machine to heat up. I had done this before and was aware of it. They were very busy and I asked if I could just leave my project and pick it up later. She wouldnt let me pay for it first. I appreciated the great customer service. These sales associates are always nice and smiling and very willing to help.

The women were rude and not interested in helping me get my document notarized since I didn’t bring my own witnesses to the store. Fortunately, a kind customer volunteered to witness my document. After waiting my turn in line, I was told to step to the side as they wanted to wait on all the other customers before helping me. Aren’t I considered a customer too? Very poor customer service and I agree with the previous post, they get great satisfaction in saying no with no interest in going the extra mile. I’ll use other businesses from now on, there’s no compelling reason to go back.

If I could give zero stars I would. I was forced out of the store because me and my kids were 5 people, the store limit. I understand the COVID but I should not be forced to leave my kids just to be waited on. When I could finally go in, my oldest waiting outside the door because they said we all can’t come in, I spoke of how upset I was. It was young kids not adults.so not only did Michele yell at me but Maryann came over screaming at me. So there I was getting screamed at in front of my 3 little girls were by two employees because I was upset my son wasn’t allowed in. Then Maryann had the nerve to tell me “‘Maybe you shouldn’t go out with kids” I’ve never been so disrespected by an employee. We all walked outside and cried the girls only 6,4,2 cried their eyes out. That’s who represented your store.

Horrible Service . The Manager ask i put a mask on then when i put it on and proceeded to retrieve info and return inside to proceed with purchasing a Store Mailbox. Was informed if i didnt wear a mask over my nose i couldnt use their facility . After explaining which i dont have to do that because of health issues i cant wear a mask she says she cant serve me . This facility is poorly ran and needs to be shut down. They have all the apporproiate measures tp cover Covid Protocol . It is not a State Law to do anything other than require mask. But you can not refuse service for where the masl is placed on someone . Fire them all. And change your store policy .

Make sure you show up at least 10 mins before they close. Apparently 3:00 PM on Saturday’s means 2:50. If I wanted service like this I would ship with the USPS. I know I’m nitpicking, but when your the customer service industry you should probably put a premium on the customer s.

Called the store to talk to management about the way my wife was treated, so badly she cried herself to sleep that night because of your employees. Only response was “we are sorry we hope you come back” basically like the responses seen below. HELLO OWNER... do you not see that your staff is the common denominator in these equations, not your software anything Else you would like to believe????? My wife and I have never formally complained about an experience at any restaurant, store, etc. what’s that tell you? We filed a formal complaint with the states AG office due to the fact our Daughter is special needs. Maybe they will get your attention.

If you are return shipping this place is fine (Amazon, etc.) but go somewhere else if you are paying to ship. I called to get a quote for a shipment using dimensions measured by the Post Office. When UPS measured it the quote was $5 higher than when I called. I was told that they round up each measurement. No thanks, taking my business elsewhere.

Condescending personnel refused to verify signature for notary because the document was already signed despite the owner of the signature being preset with ID saying I have to watch you sign it thats the point of a notary.Thats not the point of a notary a point of a notary is to verify signatures which can be done after the fact.For an acknowledgment, the document may be previously signed, and the signer must acknowledge to you that he or she signed the document and did so willingly [G.S.10B-3(1)].

I was at this store today, April 29, 2020. One of the ladies was very unprofessional from the very moment I walked in. I had to wait for the other lady to get done with a client so she can help me while this other lady is standing at her station doing nothing. I do not know her name but she is the one who pretexted that the computer did not let her open or print my document. I think she decided from the moment I walked in that I was not going to be served. I wanted to print, sign notarize a document which the younger, much nicer lady started to help me with and told me she could print it for me but I should try a bank for a notary. The nicer lady told me to email the document to their email address, which I did. Once I emailed the document, the other not so welcoming lady rushed to the computer, stood there for a minute and told me that my document could not be printed, without trying anything to help resolve my issue. She would not even take the time to explain to me properly what the problem was. Just wanted me out of there... Very unprofessional and I recommend you to avoid this place, especially if you look african like me.

I have had the displeasure of interacting with this particular location several times. They are always rude and seem to take great pleasure in telling the customer no. They change their posted rules and services when it suits them. I would rather drive 15 minutes out of my way then deal with them again.

So I needed a notary but was told that they would be too busy shipping packages to be able to help me. Let me get this straight, a business is to busy, to provide a service to a customer, in which the service needed is one they provide? This is the first time Ive been turned away from a business because they didnt want to provide a service they provide. I hope the people at McDonalds tonight feel like making me a big mac. Smdh...

Usually when visiting this place, I have no complaints. However, I shipped a package back using this store (never again), I called UPS customer service first who informed me to call the store.. MaryAnne answered, didnt even try to help me, just rushed me off the phone telling to me call someone else. Horrible customer service. I will not use again.

I called before hand to get some documents printed and I asked the cost. The lady politely told me $3.00 fee to use the computer or I could could just send them my documents by email. So I sent them my documents by email which they received. They also mentioned more cost of using the computer also. I went there and told them I emailed them, they looked it up and still charged me the $3.00 for some odd reason and then .15 a page which was no problem. But charging me $3.00 for a computer I did not use and was told over the phone that if I emailed the documents it would only be .15 a page and that’s all. It was just odd but it got paid and I went somewhere else to send the documents instead of using them. I should of just went to the library or my husbands business but it was out of convenience I use them having children.

*Update*So I wish I could take off this 1 star. An employee from this location called to tell me that they “magically” now have my package and that the driver would run it by my place. Well we were home all night and nobody came, no attempted delivery letter, nothing. This just proves more of the lies, and laziness of this company and store.So I paid a lot of money to have a package shipped to me overnight. Now I’ve been home all day and received a notification on my phone that the package was attempted to be delivered! Not possible! I called UPS customer service and was told to call this store. When I called the woman that answered said they aren’t owned by UPS? What!? I don’t can’t if you’re independently owned and operated. If your store has UPS on it, then you should be able to access the info needed for packages? You are a package service?! I hate that companies still use UPS. I either receive damaged goods from them or lied about delivery attempts.

Store owner charges a $3 computer access charge in order to print anything. This was whether you emailed them a file or had your own jump drive to plug directly into the printer. I travel throughout the state on business regularly and can tell you that this is the first and only franchise Ive ran into that charges such a ridiculous fee. Its basically as if a McDonalds franchise decided to start charging a $5 drive through access fee.Went 4 minutes down the street to the FedEx Office to print my single, $0.16, invoice.

The store manager has helped me to intercept the package that was shipped out yesterday. On 06/20/2017, I went back to this store to tell her to intercept a package that I didnt want it to be ship. The manager quickly responded and called to UPS hub to intercept it. It didnt cost anything and I was satisfy with her action and I thank her for helping me.I thank you for your help.

I showed up at 630 to get three pieces of paper lamenated. The lady told me it’d take 20 min for the machine to warm up and that I wouldn’t get them until the next day.I called the buttermilk store who said they can get theirs warmed up in time. I arrived at 645 and they lamented them in five minutes.Pure laziness on the employee at the Florence location.

The absolute worst customer service experience my wife and I ever had. We arrived at 6:51, 9 minutes before the store closed with two UPS shipping return labels. We were shipping back a modular base unit (similar to a Bunky board box spring) that we explained was awkward to ship because of the length of the pieces. The woman working was visibly frustrated they had another customer before they closed and told us they would not be able to ship it if it were over 50 pounds. We explained that these were hollow plastic pieces that were lightweight. The young man that was working was very understanding and said they could take care of it. We then started to bring the box and pieces in. The woman then complained that they would be closing soon and told us we had one minute left to box it up (which I thought was a fee based service that UPS stores provided). We would easily have had enough time if she would not have been so hesitant in the beginning and wasted time by telling us she couldnt ship it without seeing it or weighing it. She then told us she had to leave and that we would need to go (it was 7:01). I asked if we could schedule a pickup or if we could pay to have them box it and ship it in the morning because the pieces are awkward to load back in the car. She refused stating they dont perform that service and she asked us again to leave the store even though we were there before it closed (the young man did help us carry the pieces out of the store). The woman offered no solutions or alternatives. They closed the door and as we were loading up our car, the people working then let an older gentleman in (at 7:06, we took a picture) and provided some service for him.We are not sure if it was laziness or, based on witnessing them serve this older gentleman after us, some sort of discrimination but we will definitely be reporting it to the corporate headquarters. By far the worst, UPS store franchise we have visited. There is a reason over 2/3 of the reviews here are negative. I would encourage folks in the area to use the Crescent Springs location. The staff there provides a much better experience and will at least offer solutions if there is something they cant handle.

They don’t even attempt more than 1 delivery now and don’t put which UPS store your package is at on the note they leave. When you try to call them no one picks up. What’s the point in paying for rush delivery if you don’t get your package... I’m over this store and the whole entire company

What in the world is going on with the customer service at this store? I run a local business and we ship a lot of small packages via UPS. Yesterday two employees of mine went into the store with a box that had several small boxes in it, all of them with prepaid UPS labels, ready to go. This is the kind of box that normally I would just leave on the counter since they are prepaid. Since I sent two of my employees this time they reported that the attending associate was very rude and huffy with them stating that she couldnt take more than 5 boxes per customer. Explain to me how youre going to refuse a UPS labeled box with prepaid shipping on it? Thankfully I sent two employees so each of them turned in 5 packages. I was very disappointed to hear about the service they received and will be looking for another carrier for our business. This location is already 7 miles out of my way every day, I guess it was time to look elsewhere regardless.
