Such a happy place to pick up coffee, comfortable atmosphere to get work done with a fall flavored latte

Great local coffee shop. Must visit if you’re local or from out of town. The house blend is unique and bold. The lavender latte was delicious and made me feel like I was in Maui again. Mocha latte was solid. Didn’t try any food items but the display looked immaculate.Atmosphere is perfect. Ample places to sit to read or chat.Service was excellent!Will come here again when we pass through Flower Mound.

I visited this coffee shop earlier today and it was amazing! The ambiance is incredibly welcoming, beautiful layout! The service quick and super friendly! I come from a very large family and we all got different drinks and ALL of them were AMAZING! Super creamy on the flavored drinks and the even the plain black coffee was WONDERFUL!! Highly recommend!

By far the best coffee I’ve had so far! I got a hot Wild Oat Latte. It’s hard finding a honey latte with REAL honey in it.

Beautiful place! I just found it this morning and Im currently sitting here still. The decor is something you would find in New York or Europe and has an amazing urban feel to it, the picture of the drink I posted is their bourbon maple latteand its so good,couldnt taste the bourbon that much. Carlos the owner and employee is more than happy to answer any questions you have about any of the coffees (matter of fact hes explaining to a customer as Im sitting here writing this)on their menu which is extensive, they do smart pay if you wanted to pay with your phone.All the employees are super friendly and love to chat, if you come here regularly they get to know you and call you by name which is awesome and even will remember your order (if you come here enough). Will be coming back again most definitely.

Cute location. We need more breakfast joints in the area and this just opened near us. Definitely would come back . Everything was fresh and the bacon was crispy. Looking forward to trying other items off the menu.

The Bourbon Maple Latte was suggested as a favorite and they didn’t let me down! Service is friendly and fast. A bit quiet so if your looking for a good study place at least in the daytime, this is a great place!

I love supporting family owned businesses, and Trio has definitely earned the support. They are very consistent with the quality of coffee they serve. The staff is very laid back and know what theyre doing. Great place to go and hang out with friends, do homework, or just to have a nice cup of coffee.

Hands down the absolute best latte I’ve ever had in my life; I feel rejuvenated after trying it. I ordered the hazelnut latte with oat milk. Amazing, thank you the experience. ☕️

We were on our way to a Starbucks when we saw the sign for this coffee shop, and Im so happy we found it and stopped. The coffee was delicious and so were the pastries we had. I had the blueberry scone and I can say it was one of the best scones Ive had in a long time. It was just sweet enough and crunchy on the outside with delicious gooey berries on the inside. We will definitely visit this coffee shop again when were in the area.

Thats good stuff. Came in there and tried the maple bourbon latte, it was fantastic so I went back as soon as I was done and grabbed the orange vanilla latte. Great atmosphere and service. A bit pricey.

Local owned and operated. It’s been fun to watch them start, expand and thrive. Novel introduced me to the Cortado which is now my favorite. Also got me started on their Tried and True whole beans that are my go to at home. And finally, they serve a blueberry scone which puts all others to shame. We love this shop! Pro-tip: yes they will give you a Cortado to go in this cute tiny cup, but seriously slow down for 2 minutes, sit down and enjoy your little drink in a real glass.

Signature Burbon Maple Latte, right temperature, not overly sweet and very good flavor. Will try an extra shot of espresso next time as I prefer a stronger coffee flavor. Friendly and informative staff, definitely a place to frequent!

This is my favorite coffee shop for a number of reasons. First, the coffee is amazing! The menu is more limited than a certain chain, but the quality is top notch. The vanilla latte is the perfect blend of richness and smooth sweetness. My daughter loves the kids hot chocolate, which is the perfect temperature to drink right away without being scalded.Second, the environment here is bright and clean. No dark walls or low lighting; instead, it has a bright, modern look with plenty of natural light. It makes for a very pleasant space to work, write, meet a friend, or relax. Lots of small tables, a few comfy chairs, and plenty of plugs for charging.Third, the staff is very kind and knowledgeable. They know many people by name and it feels like an friendly place to be.If they had a drive thru, it just might be perfection. Even so, this is the best spot in Flower Mound to get a great cup of coffee.

Trio has become one of my favorite coffee shops after just one visit, and thats no easy feat. I always love shops that experiment with flavors and push the boundaries a bit, and Trio does exactly that.I had the Alchemist along with their Grown Up Grilled Cheese, and both were fantastic. Ive never had anything quite like the Alchemist, and it was an interesting experience picking apart the different flavors and notes that all played off each other, all while remaining exceptionally crisp and clear. My only disappointment was the salad served with my sandwich- while there was absolutely nothing wrong with it, there wasnt anything particularly good about it either, but that just goes to show how great everything else was.Ill definitely be coming back here in the future, and Im waiting earnestly to see whats coming next.

Third wave coffee shop at its finest. Their cortado is my favorite of any coffee shop. The Hatch chile scone will make you want to call your mother and slap her through the phone! I love their creativity on beverages.

Staff is very friendly...love a place filled with locals and the barista knows every single name and takes the time to ask personal questions. Coffee was excellent!

Love this place and have been going there since they were Trio, great tasting coffee and espresso drinks and go almost every morning. Their employees are nice and customer service is great. HOWEVER, they just raised their price on a 16 oz. drip coffee (just black) T&T Blend from $3.25 to $3.75. While I could justify $3.25, $3.75 for a 16oz. DRIP is highway robbery. Better off going to Edison Coffee in Parker Square.

Our favorite local coffee shop. Just renovated into an upscale vibe. Still same great coffees. Havent bought a coffee for our home machine in three years at a grocery store. We stock up at home with Novel as well as visit at least once a week to see them.

Order a cortado and it was great! I love the atmosphere. If your looking for a spot to sip on great coffee and slow down for a bit, this is the spot.

Very unique flavors and definitely a solid small business local hangout. Tons of seating with variety and *so many plugs* aesthetic is cute but agree it can get a bit loud. Also rather slow considering busyness and number of employees but i wouldn’t necessarily say that its a turn off for me if you’re coming to hang out.

Wonderful shop! Probably one of the best in DFW. It’s too far away for me to visit often but I thoroughly enjoyed this time. The baristas are friendly, Noble coffee roasters rocks, and my cortado was excellent! The environment is very sleek and enjoyable. Can’t praise these guys enough!

Cute little coffee shop that has a solid selection of coffee, teas, and small bites. I got a loose leaf English breakfast and it was very good and priced fairly. Could be a little cleaner inside, the tables and floor were messy.

So so so happy to be able to help support a local small business. Was able to order an entire tub of AMAZING coffee with all of the utensils (cups, lids, sugar, stirrers, etc) online and with curbside pickup. Great service paired with great coffee!

Do I drive 30 minutes to just come here? Yes I do! The Flower Mound Coffee Shops have a special place in my heart. Since I wasn’t able to live in campus at UNT, I would spend my college days doing homework and finishing up last minute projects here. It’s pretty nostalgic really! The Pour Overs are always expertly handcrafted. The espresso is always pulled right, and the pinch of salt pastries (I’m looking at you GF Pumpkin Bread) remind me of the relaxed environment that Tri...I mean, Novel invites me to. I love this place, and will keep making the drive!

Cortado!! My husbands been in the USA for over 15yrs now and he said, the Cortado he had at Trio Craft Coffee today was just like the Cortana he used to have in his home town Montevideo, Uruguay. We had such a lovely time there this morning. This will definitely be our new coffee spot!

Really loved this place. Met a friend for coffee here for the first time. I let the young lady at the register know I was new and she was so helpful. She recommended the bourbon maple latte which was delightful! I would definitely go back. Great customer service and really kind people.

It’s been a few months, but I’m glad Novel coffee finally has a coffee shop! I used to buy their beans online or at other local coffee shops and they were always on point. They still are actually. I’ve gotten a few different drinks here and they’ve all tasted delicious. I love the clean look of this coffee shop. It’s a perfect place to study or sit down and talk with your friends.

Some of the most unique and well balanced flavor combinations from any coffee shop Ive been to.Havent had a chance to try their food beyond the delicious pastries, but what Ive seen at other tables looks great.Slightly convoluted wifi process, but they do have it if thats what youre after.Definitely a place to try out if you havent been!

So far, Novel is one of the better coffee shops weve found in the area. You are limited to what is in their computer menu (for instance, you cant order a breve latte hot, only cold). Also, the staff doesnt enforce COVID measures inside.

Great coffee, way too expensive. They need more size options and longer hours. I would love to chill here and study but they close so early I never do. All that being said, the lavender latte was one of the best lattes Ive ever tasted.

A perfect Sunday morning spot for a tea or coffee break! The vibe is very Coffee House-esque and their corner location allows for a patio. My dog and I stop there for a treat after a hike at nearby Lake Grapevine. The nice guy at the register is a sweetheart.

What a great place! There were so many drink options for coffee and tea drinkers alike and a good variety of breakfast foods. Our cashier was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Loved the music type and volume playing through the speakers. Five out of five would recommend!

Great coffee. Been along time since Ive had coffee this good. The service was good, was a little slow, but then what do you want great coffee brewed perfectly or mediocre coffee but fast service. The atmosphere was peaceful. Im very happy with this place and will continue to return.

I thoroughly enjoyed my good morning Vietnam drink. It was delicious and one of the best lattes I’ve had. However, the cup was so small and packed with ice that I finished it about two minutes. I will probably be back but will request light ice so I have more drink to enjoy

There are way better places to go to to get your caffeine fix. Not impressed at all, and more than likely will not come back. Service was ok.

Very good coffee and my favorite food item is their blueberry scones. They make the scones European style as it’s not crumbly/flaky like US scones. Give me an americano and blueberry scone from this place and that is a great morning pick me up!

Went to get some work done with a friend a few weeks ago. The tables were really small, but the place was mostly empty so we were able to spread out. The tea I ordered was a bit pricey for being just tea with nothing in it, and wasn’t anything special. My friend’s coffee was good but also not fantastic. Would probably go again, but not when I have work to do.

My husband and I like to adventure around D/FW trying new coffee shops and Novel continues to reign supreme and is the benchmark we use when trying other places. :) Solid coffee, consistent service and super friendly/knowledgeable staff. Other places are good, but Novel is the best!

We just moved to the area a few months ago and found this place. It’s a simple menu but much better quality than the other big time coffee guys. The staff takes pride in their work. It is evident in Making art with the milk froth such as trees/flowers. We will definitely be back

Their coffee is pretty Dang good but dont ask them to put any flavoring in the milk before frothing it. for some reason they think that it will harm their machine. Even though I know it doesnt, Its called clean your equipment and push the steam through Again. But dont get me wrong these guys seem to care about coffee someone made me a cortado and a clearly messed up and Started all over again I didnt even have to ask him to. So I really do appreciate that period

If youre looking for great coffee in Flower Mound, this is the place - probably the best in the area. The price is just slightly higher than other places, but they know their coffee and use a great roast. The flavor really makes the difference. I didnt notice food items on the chalkboards, and the display case is minimal, but Ill ask about them next time since I see they posted pictures of some good looking paninis.

Easily one of the best coffee shops in the area and probably North DFW. The owners are very nice, the staff very chill, and the coffee is delicious. Definitely recommend the seasonal lattes and V60 pour overs. They use Novel coffee I believe, which always delivers a solid cup. Also, try the gluten free lemon pound cake!

Trio has amazing coffee and food. The staff are kind and passionate about making every cup of coffee to absolute perfection. Trio is also the perfect place to host a special event! They worked with my budget and far exceeded our expectations! I highly recommend Trio!

These guys can brew a mean cup of coffee, and have a delicious selection of baked goods and sandwiches at lunch. The wifi is decent, and good enough to sit down with a laptop for a few hours while you sip your espresso. Skip Starbucks and give Trio a try. You wont regret it!

Probably not the best person to review a coffee place as I hate coffee, but they have other options that rock! I love the hot chocolate and they make great smoothees. My wife loves all the coffee drinks they make, so if you are looking for great coffee and want to support local owners with huge hearts then you just found the place!

I thought that this coffee was very delicious. It is upbeat and contemporary. We made a quick stop in here for some coffee and while service was slightly slow, it was very good and in my opinion worth the wait.

The coffee here is good. The variety of espresso on different days could be expanded, however. Cappuccino is my go-to and this place does an exceptional job. The only thing I do not like about this place is how contemporary and hipster it is. Its not warm or welcoming and they do not have the seating for me to enjoy my coffee there, and thats why I get it to-go. This is the only thing keeping it from 5 stars. Also, the crew could be more friendly and smile. They just moved recently so Ill have to check back in once I check it out!
