Donuts were very fresh, they actually fill donuts in front of you & your able to select from a fruit filing, Venetian cream or custard which is nice. The donuts did taste good & staff was friendly. I purchased for myself & a few friends who also enjoyed them. Reason for the 4 stars is while they were good & service good I couldn’t see coming back to pay $20/dozen. Don’t get me wrong I would go back & purchase 1 or 2 but just not the quality of a $20/doz.

Staffs are very friendly and provided expedited payment process. It was very cozy and I will visit again for getting donuts. Seems to have long donut experience and history. It allegedly awarded best donut shop in Denton county.

Highly disappointed. I placed this order last night on Grubhub to be delivered to my husbands job for his team as a thank you. My husband called me on video call so that I could see the order and immediately I could tell items were missing. A dozen of the chocolate donut holes were missing along with a dozen of plain cake donuts (they sent one in a bag). I called the business and the lady said they had only one order today and that they do not use Grubhub only Doordash yet Grubhub is clearly listed when you search their business. I offered to give her the order number which she would not take she said listen to me, we do not do Gruhub, needless to say I was not able to get any resolution speaking with the lady at the shop so I ended the call. I went to the Grubhub app and they are processing a refund however the donuts would have been better. With the missing items there was not enough to feed the entire team which was a bummer.

Love this donut shop! The couple who owns it are very sweet and always throw in extra donut holes for the kids. Very reasonably priced - definitely go here over the Dunkin Donuts around the corner!

Amazing place with friendly staff. The flavor reminds me of my childhood in Shreveport where I first learned of Southern Maid. Their flavor is unique and its why I always stop by when passing through the area in the morning if Im working in that area.

This is the only place we buy donuts in Flower Mound. They make the same donuts that I grew up on without all the fancy stuff that doesnt add anything. The owner and his wife are always there with a smile, and are awesome!

This is a great place and gets a 5 star review. I went today for the second time and it opens 30 minutes earlier than the donut shop we usually go to. They are so friendly and the donuts are delicious and fresh and they have a wide selection of donuts and drinks. The food, hours, location, and customer service are all 5 stars in my experience.

Just got back from my first visit. The donuts are well made, not overly sweet. The woman at the front was very kind and made me feel right at home. Affordable prices. New fave donut shop? I think so.

Decided to treat my son with some pigs in a blanket before school and while checking out the lady told me they have a $5 charge to use debit or credit. The total of our purchase was $4.43 so the charge was more than his pigs in a blanket and water. I decided to still purchase his meal because we didn’t have extra time to go get him breakfast before school and unfortunately I didn’t have cash on me.

Helen and her husband provide the best customer service. When you walk in you immediately feel welcome - this is what a mom and pop store should feel like. The donuts are always fresh and are always the right amount of airy. I love buying the sausage rolls in a dozen and then freezing them so I can warm them up for breakfast in the morning - they hold really well.

I have tried lots of donut shops in our area but this one TOPS them all. Very nice staff and the best donuts and kolaches. Lots of variety. My personal favorite donut shop. Highly recommended.

They have the very best donuts! So fresh and delicious! Lots of variety.Not only are the donuts great, but the owners are super sweet. Its a pleasure to do business with them.When we are going to get donuts, we dont have to think about where to go! Its Southern Maid for us.

Hands down the best donut shop in North Texas. Nothing fancy, just really good donuts made by a super nice family. Lots of variaties to chose from...apple fritters are the best Ive ever had. The staff is incredibly friendly, repeat customers are addressed by their first name... gives you that small town main street experience. Their donuts are far superior to those at Dunkin donuts.
