I had trouble ordering a cake on the website for this location but I stopped by to place the order instead. The cake was wonderful! We loved it! I, personally, was reassured by the mask requirement sign on the door! 😷 Thank you!

My son and I share a love of ice cream and we love marble slab BUT the last several times weve been in theres only one employee and its so incredibly slow. Im not sure why only one employee is on duty right after dinner time. We waited nearly 15 minutes and were no closer to ordering. We eventually left and went to another ice cream shop.

I was so incredibly disappointed to see an employee with his mask around his chin when I walked in to purchase my ice cream with my 8yo son. This employee was handling the ice creams without gloves as well. There are currently no pediatric ICU beds left in the county, and I wanted to take my son out for a simple ice cream cone to celebrate the start of school. My son cannot currently be vaccinated. This employee ruined our entire outing. I am sad to see that Marble Slab does not have a better policy for ALL of their employees. **both female employees wore their masks appropriately while we were there, and respected clientele’s health and safety**

Ive gone here twice while Im visiting the area. The first time was in August last year & the whole experience was wonderful. I was in a few days ago this time. Very delicious ice cream but they need to allow you to taste the flavors! (Maybe hire nicer workers, this time wasnt the same).

Service could have been better. First off, the lights were off. Went there after church. My wife asked me to pick up some marble slab up for her on my way home. I was with my nephew, stopped in, there was a family of four in front of us. The employee took care of them then told us she had to go in the back to take care of the ice cream before tending to us, I told her that was fine and to take her time.When she returned, my nephew ordered the raspberry sorbet, she took care of his order. Then my turn.I ordered vanilla with chocolate chip and almonds for my wife and asked for the blue tub (looks like its about a quart, but I think its a little less) nonetheless, I asked for a blue tub and she immediately told that I would have to call that order in and it would take at least three hours to pick it up.Im thinking WHAT!! I didnt want to be rude, I didnt think my order was that over the top.I looked behind me and there was one man in line behind me and another lady walked in. I asked why 3 hours and did not get a straight answer until she finally said the ice cream was cold and hard to pack especially when other people are waiting on line then laughed.I conceded to the next size down, paid for the order then left. I have never been in Marble Slab and have to say that was a bit disappointing. My nephew said that he and his aunt been to the other store in Little Elm and that the experience there was completely different not to mention the people seemed friendlier.In closing, I dont think I will be visiting the store again. Sorry, dont really want to slam the store too hard, but try and keep the customer experience in mind.Thank you

Great ice cream and service. I gave them 4 stars because they were out of items I wanted.

We went in to get some ice cream tonight... my husband forgot his mask and the girl wouldn’t serve us... mind you... she had a mask and she was 8 ft from us. 0 risk...Common sense to me says... serve the customer... because it doesn’t look like they had many flocking in... THIS is why businesses are failing. I will never step foot in there again. Way to go! 👍🏻* The following was written after Marble Slab’s response* IF your employee was actually wearing a mask when we walked in... which she wasn’t...I may think your concern for all your customers and employees was genuine. The fact was there were absolutely NO customers in there! And we were separated by not only 8 feet but your head height ice cream counter as well. The science doesn’t add up. Just know... there are many who feel the same way I do... if you continue to turn away the few customers you have right now... it’s to your detriment to an already tough walk in business world we live in. It is your choice to require masks... we will choose to give our business to the business owners that actually want it... I’m just saying that it won’t be you.

We went in to celebrate mothers day. There were 2 of us. They put my ice cream aside while they fixed my husbands. It was a melted mess. Why would you not give ice cream that you know will melt to a person so they can eat it b4 it begins dripping and a melted mess. The cookie dough they put in mine was something weird that did not taste at all like cookie dough. Very disappointing.

The store isnt bad. Its got a good selection of items and toppings. No issues with building or employees. Coffee ice cream, one vanilla with kit Kat chucks. I think the cups are a bit pricey though.

Great place for good fans folded ice cream. The Dark Chocolate was rich and perfect with almonds and Oreo folded in. I was happy to see that there is good social distancing awareness and requirements including mask wearing. It helped to make my experience more enjoyable and comforting knowing that they require patrons to wear masks within the store. Thanks a bunch!!!

Will not return. sometimes less is more when describing an overall bad experience. needless to say my family and I felt incredibly unwelcomed and spoken down to.

Pretty dang good ice cream. The dude there was nice, and obviously cared about serving us. There was no indoor seating due to the rona, but ya dont go there for that, you go for the ice cream, and it was good. Just a little pricey. I think my cone was like 5 bucks

Got myself “small” dark chocolate peanut butter Oreo almond cone 😆 love it, well worth the price.The lady serving us is friendly and helpful, she wore her mask properly when making our ice cream, which I really appreciate :)

Ok Ill be honest. I hate this place. This was my first time and I dont ever want to go back!. I can honestly say this will kill my diet and waist line. It was so good!

Lady was very rude and short who was helping us. This is the 2nd time I have been here and she has not been welcoming at all. Came in today to get ice cream with my daughter and asked if there was a way to get a waffle bowl to go because I had to travel. And she said yes. Once I got to the counter I asked for a lid and she said she didn’t have one. On top of that I asked for maraschino cherries and she poured some other kind on and rudely asked me if I wanted her to start over and dump everything out. The ice cream melted on the way home

It is just like cold stone ice cream . They have similar ice cream and few different ones . The prices are about same .

Unless we (A party of at least six ) just simply have bad timing, the few times we have gone (evenings) there has been: two people working, then one person working, and then just last night only one person working. And last night as we got there, it was already a full house waiting to be served by a single young lady. No one left however...folks before us, ourselves, and those that arrived after us. I think that just shows how yummy the products are there. But the staffing, again at least the times I have gone, needs to be worked on/improved.

Very nice staff and a good selection of ice cream flavors. The store was very clean and organized. Between us we had bubble gum flavor, sweet cream with sprinkles, raspberry sherbet, and coffee. All tasted very good.

They make what you want the way you like it. The Sunday was yummy.

Because they hand scoop and mix, if theres any sort of a line, youre going to be waiting a while. But if you like good ice cream, a good selection of flavors, and a good selection of mix-ins, its worth it. I love the raspberry sorbet with raspberries mixed in. Perfect in hot weather.

Went during the night and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Very patient and sweet with the kids. It was our first time, it was all delicious!!!

A great place to go for fresh, homemade ice cream. The staff is beyond friendly and the selections of ice creams and toppings are amazing. They also offer sorbet for those with milk and soy allergies. Just make sure to sign up for their rewards program (ap)...if you go once, you are sure to go back and its easy to earn rewards.

Super rude! Ive never felt so bad for my son when they didnt care about him having a peanut allergy. I cant believe the attitude given. Most places have an alternative for kids with peanut allergies or any other allergy. I will never support a place like this. Absolutely disgusting the way we were treated!!

I LOVE marble slab. Its hands down the best ice cream ive ever had. Thank god I work out because I eat here at least once a week with my kiddos. I love the cheesecake icecream with fresh strawberries or mixed with strawberry ice cream. Love the staff here too!!!

Just to warn you guys, I used to work here, dont get anything with strawberries. I was once told by an assistant manager that it was OKAY to use strawberries that had mold on them as long as you just cut off the moldy parts. The sweet cream is really good though. Poor cleaning. You should see the floors on our side. It gets really nasty. Otherwise the food is pretty good; just overpriced.Edit: The strawberries were purchased at Sprouts a few stores down. Theyd go bad after a day if you didnt freeze them. The floors were still coated with grime and sticky old ice cream regardless of wiping them down every night.

Expensive, but worth it. The texture of the ice cream changes when its worked over on the cold marble. Its smoother, creamier, more custard-like. I highly recommend the cheesecake ice cream and Butterfinger mixed in. So so good.

Good place to go for an ice cream cake. You can buy already made cake and also pre order one. They also have wide variety of Ice creams as well to choose from. And price is also reasonable.

Awesome ice cream, they put a lot of effort in mixing it to your taste on the marble slab. It can get busy at times. Usually not a problem when there are 2 employees.
