Anyone selling gelato is pretty much guaranteed five stars. At least Epic made a bunch of unique flavors that left me craving a return visit. Im sure Ill be back.

Our family has gone here for a couple of years and the gelato and service was great but last week on an early Friday evening I was surprised how filthy the place was and only one person was working. The rug on the floor is so ragged and stained. Dust is so thick on the furniture. The furniture is torn up. I no sooner sat down to eat my gelato and saw a huge bug on my gelato! I dropped it! The young worker said they were supposed to spray for bugs that night and fixed me another. I felt so sorry for her having to do everything by herself. Who is supposed to clean the place? They probably can’t hire anyone to clean the place. I was so disappointed.

Pretty good selection of flavors and options, nice (and clean) indoor and outdoor seating, okay pricing, and nice enough staff.

There are so many delicious gelato flavors to choose from and—unlike many other frozen dessert places I’ve been—they never have those annoying ice crystals in their treats. Just smooth, creamy gelato. The coffee drinks are excellent, too.

Life changing! The Affagado was an experience that screams MORE PLEASE!What a great place and staff. A must stop!

Good products. Little pricy. It is great to have teenagers working but, they should wear mask (regardless of covid), gloves and something to hold their hair different than a dirty baseball hat. Every store where food is sold to be eaten without being cooked must do better.

This is our go-to place for gelato and affogato! We’ve been coming here for more than 2 years and are always happy with the service. Cozy sitting inside and outside. You can bring your pet if you are sitting outside.One thing to note - sometimes they close early, so you can come in an hour before the closing time and they could be closed, which is disappointed. We usually go to the nearby store with ice cream, but they are not as good.

We came for the gelato and it was delicious. We both got the smallest cup they offer and they FILL IT UP. So much gelato in the smallest size, we didn’t even finish ours. I had roasted Marshmallow and Oreo, my partner had strawberries and cream and peaches and cream. All 4 flavors were delicious. It’s also super awesome that they let you mix your flavors if you want, and of course you can sample the flavors before you get them.

Gelato is too sugary and lacks flavor. Very mild flavors. I could barely taste chocolate and pistachio - worst i have ever had. Any gelato shop owners should go to Bottolino in Dallas to taste/study their gelato. I have had gelato all over Italy and Europe and Bottolino stands as one of the best I have ever tasted. So much punch of flavor with premium ingredients such as valrhona chocolate in every spoon and very creative flavors - out of this world. EPIC just doesnt cut it. There are no other choices in the area so monopoly is all it has got going for it. Fortunately for them, most people in Dallas do not and will not know good gelato and will be happy with any sugary thing.

Really good Gelato. I liked the atmosphere and they even hsd some board games avaliable to play. Once the pandemic passes I definitely plan to go there with friends to hang out, and get a little fater :D .

The inviting aroma catches you upon entry, the engaging staff help you navigate the amazing and very delicious range of gelato. The espresso is smooth and silky. Whats not to like and rave about?

Awesome small and cozy place with great espresso and quite genuine tasting Italian style ice cream. High-ish prices but value for the money beats the big SB any given day.

The pistachio is straight from Italy. Absolutely fabulous...lemon serbet is so good!!!! I loved it very much and friendly staff go check them out!!!

Vegan (non-dairy) options available. They always put a generous scoop in the cups provided. Delicious. Patio outside with lots of tables and chairs. Can also eat at one of the tables inside and there are books available to read.

One of my favorite places in Flower Mound. I LOVE their coffee as well as their gelato. The pistachio gelato is my absolute favorite. They only make it on the weekends, but it is lovely. The owner is great and always welcoming, as is the rest of the staff. It is worth getting out of your car and not going through the normal coffee shop drive through to experience what Epic has to offer! Oh, and did I mention their pastries and smoothies... Goodness! Go try Epic and you will see what I mean!

If you are willing to pay for good gelato/ice cream...this is the place. The coconut caramel flavor it really fragrant and has coconut bits for texture. Lime gelato was nicely sour. The toasted pecans tasted a bit like burnt sugar but once you get the bits of nuts its delicious. Have to go back on a weekend to try the pistachio coz thats my favorite !

This little shop has really impressed me. The gelato is amazing and if you havent had their pistachio flavor you are truly missing out. As to their coffee dont dismiss it just because coffee is not in the title of the shop Their barista is very knowledgeable and their coffee selection is incredible. They also have every coffee machine possible so they can make your coffee any way you want. Highly recommend no reason why to ever stop by Starbucks to get your morning coffee.

This place isnt big, but the hot tea is really good (and loose leaf), and they also serve amazing gelato. They also offer other items including coffee and muffins. Ive been there twice now, and both times the staff were very laid back, helpful, and friendly. They offer free wifi, and they have a couple of chess boards on hand on case anyone wants to play.

Stopped here after going on a local carriage ride. The gelato was good, but certainly not the best or greatest. I had pistachio which was less green than Ive seen in the past and lacked nuts.

Great place, took a girl on a date here. Shes a big coffee person, and liked it. I paid for both of us and it was about 17 dollars for each of us to get a coffee and a small ice cream. I liked it.

The gelato is good- dont get me wrong. But do not use Epic Gelato for catering. After months of trying to get ahold of their catering coordinator and business owner, I finally had my catering order in and everything planned for delivery. I called, emailed, and texted the business owner to confirm the catering order but when the event day arrived, the gelato did not. This business left me high and dry and has done nothing to rectify it. I wish I could have saved myself some tears on my wedding day by using a different gelato company.

Epic Gelato definitely lives up to its name. I had a trifecta of Lemon, Raspberry, and Sour Cherry. Its the perfect thing for a sunny day in Flower Mound.

Very nice little shop, incredibly friendly and helpful workers, and probably the best gelato I have had in ages! We tasted probably a half dozen different flavors with not a complaint one about any, settling on two amazing flavors. The smoothest sour cherry you will ever eat and a creamy, crunchy one that left me wanting more! We will definitely be back!

Gelato is the best I have had. The staff was kind and friendly and helpful we came in at about 5 minutes till close to get something to go. They let us sample and make up our minds as to what we wanted we got our order they were not pushing. Just a excellent all around experience.

Generally love the gelato and the place, but was a little let down when my family and I went and saw that the employee serving was wearing gloves and not mask when the COVID-19 numbers are rising in the area. If you’re going for gelato, would recommend but if you want a safe place in the middle of a pandemic this might not be it.

Went to this place at 9pm tonight and they were closed. Google, and the sign on their door both say they close at 10pm. There was a girl inside mopping that looked at us and ignored us. An apology or explanation would have been plenty sufficientIve been to this place many times and the service, gelato, and tea have always been great until now. However, tonights experience was way different. I went to another dessert shop who actually closes at their advertised closing time.

First time here on 4/24 and was especially delicious. I tried the chocolate/hazelnut and the cookie dough thought it was very good. Smooth and good flavor. My girlfriend got the peach and lemon and was also exceptional. Will definitely be back.

My friends and I would come here every Thursday to play card games and hang out. Spent a lot of junior and senior year here. Service is awesome, gelato is delicious—though I personally prefer the lemon sorbet—and the atmosphere is great. Love! This! Place!

This was my second time at Epic Gelato based on the wonderful experience I had the first time. My visit was on Sunday February 16th at 4:00 pm and I am never coming back .The lady behind the counter was so rude and it seemed like every question we asked her was a bother to her .The icecream was good as expected but the customer service was terrible

Holy Moly! First off the gelato is all creamy and smooth and just as it should be. Lots of flavors and you cant go wrong! Got a pint of cinnamon gelato to go. Now lets get down to the item that floored me at first sip, the Frappé. I got a white chocolate mocha frappé and it was like nothing I had ever had before. Silky smooth not ice chunks like you can get at national chains. This drink is what made my day! I really wish I had paid attention to how it was made but I was too busy looking at all the gelato! Any way friendly staff spotless facility. I will for sure be back!

Been there several times and have enjoyed many of their flavors. Theyre very rich and intense most of the time. Great place to sit out on the patio and enjoy a dessert with family and friends.

My absolute favorite gelato place! They have amazing flavors, which they rotate regularly, and wonderful combinations which are sometimes even better. Really nice environment, fun place to chill, relax, enjoy gelato, and some delicious coffees!

The customer service was outstanding! They took time to explain all the different flavors and didn’t rush us, which was hard to make a decision with all the great flavors! The gelato was some of the best I’ve had!
