I had a great experience with Diamond Auto Parts and Tony Thompson. I cant tell you how many places I found that had the pickup bed we were looking for that ended up NOT having the bed themselves. These companies couldnt answer a single question about the beds. Tony had the bed pulled and took pictures himself to send to me. He also checked for rust because that was a huge problem with other beds that I found. Tony stayed in touch while I argued through the details with my insurance company and the insurance companys approved body shop which took a while. I would not have a problem suggesting this company or Tony to others.

Called about used tires. Nick would not send me pictures of the tires. Drove 40 minutes, bought them. Was told they had 80% life on them. Got them to my tire person, who said they had dry rot between the treads and couldnt install them. Drove 40 minutes back to Diamond. They took the tires back but it took about half an hour while they came back from lunch, swore at their computer, had an attitude. Not impressed.

Needed a fuel tank for my truck, found one on the website and inquired about it. Got an email back saying before they could pull it Id have to pay. Easy enough, right? After I drove to the shop and paid for it they then informed me that it wasnt there that it had to be shipped from a different facility and theyd have it the next day.The next day came and no tank. The third day came and still no update and no fuel tank.This was Monday and it is now Thursday and no update.If I could give less than 1 star I would.

Bought motor august 26th 2020 and not even 10 months later it blew up on me. Within 60 days it was having issues and not running right. Definitely be careful when purchasing motors through them.

Recently purchased a motor for a Buick SUV. It was the cleanest, best maintained motor my mechanic has ever seen come out of a junk yard! Thank you for a wonderful motor. It runs great!

This place is a joke. Jacking up prices to sell parts to insurance companies. They and other companies like them are the reason why it costs so dang much to get your car repaired. Update: Had to block them and report them on Facebook. Talked with the owner he was polite but he defended the whole thing. They will continue to get there asking prices because insurance companies will pay it and our insurance rates will continue to go up the cycle will continue. Guess that’s the American way!

Paid and bought a part from them. After a conversation with the salesman part was shipped out and when I received the part, it was incorrect. E-Mailed the salesman and explained to him what happened and he stated he would make it right, then tells me the actual part was 65.00 more and he wouldnt be able to send it to me until I shipped the old one back. I decided I wasnt going to give them more money and got the part from somewhere else,, money was refunded but did not recieve money back that it costed me to ship. Will never do business with these guys again they hardly made it right and who knows if theyll ever give me back the money it costed me after they sent me the wrong part. Wish I could give them negative stars.

Big deception 🤦🏻‍♂️ I call then regarding to an ABS Anti-Lock Brake pump for a 2007 Highlander Hybrid. I ask him about 6 times if he was 100% he had the one I need . He was rude with me because I ask to many times so I pay by phone and when I drive more than 2 hours I arrived to the place and they had the wrong one. Their excuse is that I gave them the wrong Engine liter and it wasn’t true, I gave them the correct one for an V6 Hybrid, however not recommend, worse time losers.Seller name is Gabriel Argall

Cars show up as available... You message them but it turns out theyre not available and offered me a different car that parts wont work with mine... See the car I wanted parts from newly posted again so simply asked if it is available or not... Whoever is in charge of the messenger said what parts do you need when Ive said multiple multiple times and even sent pictures with the parts circled... Mind you I was at work so when they finally replied I was working...I couldnt reply until a few hours later when I was done and they reply with good luck on your auto parts search sarcastically and snobby for not replying instantly. They then blocked me on messenger so couldnt even reply to say hey I was at work Im now able to reply. So be warned if you have any questions youll get some clown blocking you on Facebook messenger for their page if you dont reply instantly. Incredible.

Was clear with them I was to purchase a set of wheels and tires. Agreed on the price and drove over 3 hours only to be told it’s just the wheels. Absolute waste of time.

For large items there reasonable. Small items there outrageously priced. And not willing to help you out with a simple quick pull from a vehicle that would take about ten minutes and I could pick it up while I was there said it would be at least two hours before they could get to it so I had to get it shipped. The door I got from them was supposed to be insurance grade which is the best you can get got there and it had a terrible rust stain on the whole side of the door so I had to paint it anyway. I would definitely suggest going with a different yard if you can.

Bought a tail light for a 2008 GMC Sierra. I recieved a tail light housing & wire harness . Very pleased! Did I mention it also came with WORKING bulbs ? Will recommend to everyone I know .

Big shout out to Cody of Diamond Auto Parts. I Went in on the spur of the moment for a tail light assembly for my 2013 Chrysler 200. He went and took off the part from a scrapped 2013 Chrysler that they had in the yard while I waited. I couldnt ask for better service. Excellent prices too. I was quoted a price on the phone by Gabe who says hes the owner. When they had the engine removed from the car and called for payment he told me it would be $500 more than I was quoted and that he would not keep his word from the day before. I ended up spending more money on an engine from someone else who doesnt do business like that.

I have been looking for an AC control unit for my car which has proven very difficult to find. I came in and asked them if they had it. Unfortunately they didnt have it but they were more then willing to help. They had ordered it and got it in 3 days later and the price was unbelievably cheap. I was expecting to pay at least double what they sold it to me for. Best prices and best service. I will be coming here if i ever need a part again

The customer service here is garbage. I called four different times to ask questions and see if they would have a part ready for me. They told me they had what I needed. The price was good, I should have been set. A few days pass by and I finally have time off work. I called at 10 in the morning and told them again what I needed. Victor said he had a 2008 r32 door in the yard, they just needed to pull it. He told me it would be ready in three hours. I live in Madison which is 1.5 hours away, so three hours is no big deal. I actually show up four hours later and guess what? They pulled a 2002 door. I asked how they could have pulled the wrong year when I called FOUR times. Victor told me it happens, with a smug attitude. At this point Im pissed. I ask him if they have the 2008 door there at all. Victor says they have it, but its damaged. I was lied to over the phone multiple times about this, by Victor. I wasted my day off trying to get this done and this guy couldnt care less. He basically shrugged it off, and didnt even apologize for wasting my time or money. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. Victor, youre a douchebag.

Diamond is a good yard. I liked when they had the self serve yard. I would find what I needed right away, and never had problems. Prices were more than reasonable, sometimes there was no charge for particular small items. Recently the yard has been closed to the public, which sucks. But that was someone who screwed it up for everyone, and insurance said to close it. Helpful people for finding parts now though

The prices were far better than their competitors or others listed on eBay. The place was clean and the service was great. Ive had poor experiences at other auto recycling/salvage yards, but I would definitely go back here. Highly recommended.

Had a very positive experience with Diamond Auto - called them up about a side mirror for my Subaru. Andy clarified what I was looking for, confirming color code and model years, then confirmed that they had one in stock. We confirmed price, then I gave them the go-ahead and confirmed I could pick it up the next day. Later the same day he called me up and let me know that it was out and ready.Upon getting there I stopped in, got the work order and walked over to the shipping area to see the Mirror. It was in great shape. It was then handed to me, after which I walked back to the front office and paid for it.Very positive experience for me - Ill definitely keep them in mind for any further part needs.

Theyre always there to help

A few weeks ago we bought a engine for a chevy trail blazer. we use to run a repair shop so we do all the work ourselves. This is a major job as you have to tear out the transmission, transfer case, front axles, basically everything. A huge job. Got it in and it runs perfectly. Drove it about 1 week but had a antifreeze week. We got a new water pump and radiator hoses. Put those in still had a leak. We then pressure tested it and the front housing that the water pump attaches to is cracked. You need to drop the oil pan to change that. Probably about a 40 hour job. Plus transmission fluid and oil all synthetic. Basically doing the whole job over.I spoke to the manager at diamond and explained the situation. First he told me the vehicle this engine came out of wasnt even in a front end collision. Later in the conversation it was determined it was in a front end collision. Well after all this he said there was nothing they can do. They sold me Not Properly tested JUNK and would not do anything about it. I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!

Ive worked with Andy for 10+ years. Hes always taken great care of me and my used car sales & repair business. The prices are always fair and he always goes the extra mile on hard to find parts. Any warranty issues or problems have always been handled promptly and professionally.

Sold me a highly questionable alternator (made a scraping noise while spinning and visibly had rust on the stator) so I immediately took it to an auto parts store to have it tested before bothering to install it. After several attempts it was found to not be working.Took it back to Diamond Auto Parts and they first accused the parts store of deceiving me. I explained Ive recently had several alternators tested at the same locations and witnessed passing results. They mentioned theyd put it back on the shelf to be sold to someone else. Super sketchy, and due to this methodology I certainly wouldnt ever buy anything from them again.Id say avoid if you have other options, as it seems fairly likely youll get a part that doesnt work.

Ive got emergency car trouble I need to fix now, but I have a low budget. I was referred to CRAIG, so I called him up, asked for a power steering pump they had in their system gave him my card info and ended the phone call. I got off work 2 days later to find a voicemail saying they didnt have the part and theyre working on a credit to my account. Now I cant afford to buy a part elsewhere, and Im stuck with my emergency car trouble. Oh did I mention its Friday and my credit likely wont go back in until AT LEAST Monday?

WILL NOT RECOMMEND. Dealt with a guy name TODD. Purchased a differential that I was told came off a 32k miles car, but the oil which was left behind in differential told a different story; not only super dirty but had metal fragments in the oil. WOULD NOT RETURN CALLS. Our ASE certified mechanic tested the item and confirmed the problem. The test took less than 10 minutes. Diamond Auto Parts NEVER TESTED THIS PART BEFORE SHIPPING. I ended up loosing over $500 (parts, testing and labor) and shipping them item back. PLEASE STAY AWAY and SAVE YOURSELF HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS UP FRONT.

They have many parts for later model vehicles and can get some for older cars if they make them aftermarket. You can get new headlights at a decent price as well as some Salvage ones. Although the lowest they can make an invoice out for his $45 from what I was told buy an employee. So if youre looking to spend less than that for a salvage part I guess is youll be out of luck.

GREAT BUSINESS & AWESOME GUYS, most of the parts come with a standard 90 day parts only warranty, so if it doesnt work or it is not the correct part, they will get you the correct one or refund your money.

Went to get an alternator and was told to pay for it as soon as i walked in. Weird, whatever i need it though so i payed. Told to go to the parts building where i was informed they didnt have one until next week. Okay, but i need it now so Ill get my money back and buy one somewhere else. Didnt want to return my money. Then didnt want to give me cash even though i paid with debit card, said Id have to wait for the bank to reverse the transaction because the money wasnt in their account yet. Well its not in mine anymore so where is it genius? HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! And obviously a lack of organization if the sales peoples computers say they have a part when they really dont. Wouldnt go here again if the parts were free.

They sell parts that are not working well . After I pay 200 for installation month later it is not working . Now that only like to give me another one that is not working and I need to pay another 200 + allighment and that is not how it should be . So looks like it is just not a place to visit and work with ... !

Spoke to craig about some mazda cx-9 seats, refused to budge on the price ($360) even though im driving 4 hours to get them, told them i spoke to pams auto in minnesota and they agreed to do it for $160 less ($200), the guy made it seem like i was lying or something, he said he didnt see them available anywhere, not knowing that i have access to the same database he does, anyway I found the same seats, grade A again in detroit for $200 cash and Im on my way. Somebody needs to teach these guys how to run a business. ( update) 3 years later and they still have the seats LOL, what a way to make money

I was lied to and was sold a broken radio for my car. Then I was told I had to pay for shipping it back to them. I had numerous phone calls with Todd over a month about purchasing a replacement radio for my SC430 at $350.00. I was a little apprehensive but he repeatedly promised me that it works and that there is a 90 day return policy. I asked how do you know for fact that it works? He said that he guarantees it works. After receiving it in the mail I made appt. with my mechanic, after 2 frustrating hours of working on the radio I called Todd. The mechanic told Todd it is broken and doesnt work, Todd then told me to ship it back to him and that he will get it fixed and mail it back to me. I said you lied to me that it works ...you never tested it out like you said....and now you want me to pay to ship this broken radio back to you! Unethical & Unbelievable. Todd snapped at me and said forget, just send it back to me I dont want to deal with this I am in hole with $23.00 for shipping, 2 hours of Mechanics time and called Visa to stop payment.
