It was the third of July and I, along with the rest of Fontana needed some last-minute picnic food and supplies. After making my selections I made my way to the checkout to the horror of lines all the way to the back of the store. I was fully prepared for the crowds and expected there to be a wait; it was the management of Food 4 less who was not prepared as there were only two, yes, two registers on the day before perhaps the second busiest grocery holiday of the year. The ironic thing is I had just come from Stater Bros and they had SEVERAL lines open with minimal wait. Ill know better next time to stick with Staters.

Convenient walk to shopping for Hotel guest. I appreciate the prompt action the manager displayed when I called her with a concern. Thank you for making my shopping experience and stay here in Fontana feel more secure and pleasant.

Everytime I go at night they only have 2 cashiers and you have to make a 20 minute line.

They were unbelievably rude including like The female manager she stormed down this aisle and act like she didn’t see my young daughter . She was talking to a gentleman and they were coming directly down the isles these isles are huge but they were dead smack in the center of the aisle and acted like they didn’t see us we had to hurry up and get out of there way before they ran into us. As I was leaving out of the store I asked the clerk a question she act like she didn’t understand English I had chosen the wrong button and I asked her again can we go back into the transaction she didn’t she just looked at me act like she didn’t understand English and she had a family member there sitting at the cash register so made it hard for me to go through the checkout lane to bag up my own groceries worst experience ever

The Manager in the night time, he said his name is Will. Absolutely RUDE, does not have any sense of costumer service, very dismissive. It seem more like he was trying to get ride of us in the first minute he was supposed to be helping us. Did not accept my ID card and this were his exact words, I cant take anything that says Mexico on itIve never felt so racially discriminated, even if they refuse to accept a VISA as a proper identification to buy alcohol he did not know how to handle this situation. He was rude about it and made it seem as if they ONLY CANT ACCEPT ANYTHING FROM MEXICO AND THATS IT. I asked if he could explain to me why, because this has never happened to me before, and he said that he cant take it and thats it. Horrible representation for FOOD4LESS, I dont understand why is this man is the manager.

Has good things, but not everything youre looking for.... The lines however... More than five are empty, and only like one or two Cashiers working... But other than that... Its fine.

On 12/30/20 I went to this store and my wallet fell and I could not find it . I tried asking for help but management was very rude nobody was willing to help me I asked if they could check the cameras they said no. When I came back home I got a notice that someone in that store had used my card. I called again the next day and explained the situation the lady that answered was rude and said she “had no one to check the cameras” and hung up. I will never set food in this store again because of the costumer service . Now someone is out there with my wallet that has all my information .

Love it, because its closest to my house, Kroger owned (like Ralphs) so FIRST ON BOARD WITH STERILIZING, MASKS, GLOVES, 6 FT DISTANCING, INTERCOM MESSAGES TO SOCIAL DISTANCE & BE SAFE/KEEP OTHERS SAFE, CLEAR SHIELD AT REGISTERS BETWEEN CASHIERS & CUSTOMERS, AND CONTINUE STILL.I save money with Kroger products, and other product. Friendly employees have always been helpful. Only a 4 STAR for times that cant get packaged beef/deli. Plenty of fresh variety of packaged beef, though. I could not get pork steaks. They had smaller pork chops & pork ribs.I save money on LUVSOME SOFT DOG FOOD in little tubs, only $0.79 each, sometimes on sale $0.59 each.

Always excellent.. I find a great variety of ingredients for my recipes. Love Kroger brand...! So good prices.. Same quality of famous brands. I love they are open late. I work nights and it is so nice to know they,re open till midnight. I just love food 4 less...!

Just saw an older lady almost get beat by two people nobody in the store did a thing as she asked the employees for help they all took their sweet time. The store is in a bad area they should at least have a security guard like every other grocery in the area.

Every time I go there they lock there shopping cart an that is not good. The cashier act like they cant work the cash register. Its always something going on at that store.

I am from out of state and visited this store. It was so much better than I expected it to be. They advertise no frills but it really is a very nice store. You bag your own items but they provide bags and its really not a problem.

I usually go for snacks or veggies. They are well stocked.A lot of their baskets seem a bit janky and there isnt a self check out.Great store for weekly groceries or party snacks.

It has pretty much of everything you might shop for, the prices are fair, all of Fontana goes there. But I would rather drive a little further to Win Co and get it even cheaper and a wider selection. Compare for yourself. 🤔

Sold me a bottle of alcohol. Then I tried to go another day to get another bottle, she was going to sell me a bottle again, but then another customer was behind me and she asked for my date of birth. She said something doesnt feel right so she needs my ID & I told her I only have a copy, You sold it to me last time. She said shes starting the new year out right and told me she can sell it to me. Its like she already knew me before I even went into the store. My mother worked for the union for over 30 years. Wondering who reported that one?! Same thing here in Ontario, CA another food 4 less.. everyone keeps blaming the police department.. nope aint them, people with law suits.. sorry your camera systems need up dating...

Prices are good. But you get what you pay for. The cantaloupe was on sale BUT, they were old and too ripe.

EWWWWWWWWWW! This place is frequented by many different kinds of people but I was approached 3 times, inside the store, by people begging for money. I did not feel safe there. I ended up not making a purchase because I wanted to leave while it was still light outside!

Always so busy. Has good deals just make sure you sign up to get the points, they wont remind you so remember to put in your phone number at register to get the deals

The deli lady was helpful, Omar was helpful and the cashier was the best!Oh, and the store was clean, bright and well stocked...

Like the title says, the food does cost less. Its a semi-bulk store. Not too big of a selection like Costco or Sams, but its still great to have if you live near the 10 freeway.

This is not my first choice of a grocery store but when its the closest you go there. You have to bag your own items and the lines are ridiculous. Prices arent really lower than any other store.

I love it because its so much cheaper than a lot of markets but it still has everything I need. Only downside is they never seem to have fresh sweet bread or bolios.

Only ☆☆☆ because the handicapped spaces are occupied by the market carts.! They dont care picking up the carts timely..!And is a lot of TRASH in the parking lot and the WEST side is the WORST of dirty..!

First time there, not happy, no meat service dept. No ranchera meat in stock and when asked an employee for help had to go through 4 different ones and still no help. Noone knew anythng. The only good thing out of all this was the cashier Abigail. Very nice, courteous and happy person.

I love this old supermarket. Nothing fancy, good prices for the most part, and the deli makes some pretty decent salsas, frijoles, rice, guac, and coctel de mariscos. Good produce and meats as well.

This is possibly the biggest Food 4 Less that Ive been into who was very clean I just wish that they have a better selection and especially price on their produce not just junk food after all they are Food For Less LOL

Im giving this place a 3 star cause the workers are so nice, inside isnt so bad either, but the dirtness their, rite outside the door the floor is filthy, could use some bleach, lus their is always bums or randoms just standing bye the door. I feel like this store has so much potential For Fontana.. But needs to be cleaned up... Today I found a couple of herion needles rite out side my car, I could of stepped on them. Or even worse a child could if got ahold of them...
