I got good service, but now the phone number doesnt work. Did they close?

Hired to replace alternator under warrantee. Gave Prime Auto a new alternator to install. It failed 6 months later. I bought another new part and installed it myself. Turns out the part Prime Auto put in was a used part, not the new one I gave them. They are unwilling to refund my costs. I will have my day in court.

Fixed blown brake hose. Said took all day but I called at 3.30 and had not started yet. Picked up next day. Got mother estimate for 1700,plus to fix abs sensors and tune up(plugs and wires) which I said was high so mgr told me take it elsewhere which I gladly did. Had it all fixed promptly. Both sensors, bearings, plugs, wires all 700 plus. Quite a diff huh??? Watch these guys. When they get irritated or mad. Leave!!!

MUST READ BEFORE DOING BUSINESS HERE! I was told my truck can not be aligned because it needs $1,800 of front end work. Of the parts needed, all have been replaced less than a year ago. Not to mention my 1pm appointment took a day and a half for an inspection. After going to a true frame and alignment shop. My truck was aligned in one hour and no parts needed. Everything was tight and looked to have been just replaced Ill be contacting the BBB. The attempted theft for $1,800 is not acceptable. Disgusting way to do business. Too bad zero stars isnt an option.

I needed new tires and after reading the reviews I decided to go to Prime Auto. I was please with the timely service. They did forget to put a cap on one of the stem valves which was not a big deal.I was less than pleased with the followup I received. I noticed the car seemed to pull to the right so called to make an appointment to have it checked. I was told it sounded like a tire was out of balance.My appointment was for 10:30. After waiting for 1 1/2 hrs I noticed my car being pulled into the garage. WHAT! I asked at the desk what was going on. Yes, they had just took my car for a spin and it pulled to the right. I asked what they had been doing for the past 1 1/2hrs but didnt get a direct answer. They wanted to do an alignment check (which should have been done when the new tires were put on). I was told that would take another 1 1/2 - 2 hrs. I expressed my frustration at the long wait and left.Two days later I had my oil changed and my guy tells me my tires were all at 30psi and not the 44psi as they should have been. Once the tires were at 44psi the car no longer pulls to the right.I will not be going back to Prime Auto except for my free rotation.

The best customer service, the store owner takes time to listen to listen to his customers . My personal testimony this gentleman goes above and beyond and making sure that the customer is whom get the satisfaction .So amazing how he takes time explain repairs, and so surprising that he refunded monies for repair, and after 3 other places identified exact diagnosis we had to return back to him. I came in for an oil change. Price was very competitive (under $25) in my opinion for the Forest Lake area. I was happy to learn the price included a tire rotation which was a nice surprise. It took a little over 30 minutes which was what I expected. Got a quote an other work which also seemed reasonable. The owner suggested I hold off as he thought I could go longer with what I had now. I do appreciate knowing. The owner seems like a straight shooter. They have a deal too where you can get your 4th or 5th (I cant remember which) oil change free. I will return for certain.

Came for a heater core cleaning and free loaner. Left with untouched heater core, a loaner with no heat (on the coldest day in January) and an estimate for 2k.Despite being told to only clean the core they decided to not do it and do what I told them specifically not to do. When I came back for the car they instead had done a pressure test on the cooling system, which they did without asking for my authorization. They claimed that no pressure in the system was causing no fluid to flow into my heater. Nope! I had it flushed the next day at AA in White Bear and now its toasty. This place instead told me my troubles were a bad head gasket and wanted 2k for it.Next was the loaner that had no heat as well, and no overdrive. The owner joked that he was going to just let it blow up. With a customer driving it? With 40 below windchills and their daughter riding in it?One day and 50 bucks later my car is warm, safe and a decent head gasket thanks to AA.

I have always been highly satisfied with my dealings with Prime Auto. I have had numerous oil changes as well as a couple brake jobs done on two separate cars. The entire service team from the counter to the mechanics outside are very professional and friendly. Their pricing structure is competitive and fair. I recommend Prime Auto and Tire to all of my friends.

I had a coupon just for a oil change, than they told me that its going to be other $20 because I have a special filter, but I have never had that problem at any other place with or without coupons. So I say I wont pay that, the manager didnt even try to keep my business just told the other worker to just give back her car and didnt even talk to me any more like I was nothing, not even sorry I couldnt help you today or something.

I was getting frustrated trying to seat the bead of a new tire. I took it to these guys, who promptly got my wheel squared away. When I ask how much, the man at the counter just gave me the thumbs up and said Were good.

The best place to go for an oil change must be the cheapest in town and they dont skip any of the services plus you get a punch card for a free oil change after so many great place to go Plus free tire rotation have recommended this place too many people

Brought my truck in for an alignment, couldnt do it because of a couple parts being worn down. Charged me a 32 dollar service fee to tell me they couldnt do an alignment. Will never come back here. Quoted me 2200 dollars for tie rod ends and ball joints. What a joke

Bought 4 tires, during the tire replacment and they suggested another repair, I told the to go ahead with the replacement as long as they could have it done within 3 hours. They said they could and I received the confirmation at the 2 hour 55 minute Mark that I could pick up my vehicle. I checked the price for the tires online and the price was comparable but they are a local business which I try to choose everytime

They wouldnt replace my valve stem on my spare tire because it has a sensor on it. They wouldnt even replace it with a new valve stem sensor. So I asked if it could be replaced with rubber valve stem instead and they declined that as well. I called a different tire shop in forest lake called tires warehouse and they told me that they can replace the valve stem with the tire sensor... why couldnt prime auto?? This place is a joke.

I have used Prime Auto for 6 years now. I would recommend them to my family and friends.
