I have been to this location twice and both times left very frustrated.First time was for a humidifier for my son, I get to self check out and it wonโt scan. The attendant took the humidifier to customer service where they informed him they couldnโt sell it to me. No explanation, while four others were still on the shelf, just that they wouldnโt sell it to me.Second time was just yesterday, we had four pumpkins that were supposed to be $2 each. Waited in line for about 10 minutes per the norm. They scanned for $3.50 so I called attendant over. He didnโt even touch the screen or pumpkins, didnโt try to adjust price, nothing. He told me I would have to wait in line all over again in another check out lane or go to customer service. Ended up waiting another 25 minutes to be helped at customer service. In the time I stood in the customer service line, I heard 3 different employees talking about how much they hated the customers, how needy we are and how they donโt have the patience to deal with us.All in all, unless you want to spend an hour+ inside, jumping through hoops to purchase things while employees blatantly badmouth their customers Iโd shop elsewhere.
Great for cheap milk. (Great Value brand). Meat and veggies are much larger, healthier, and cheaper at Tonys in Cermak Plaza.Workers are rude and stand around looking lost a majority of the time.Especially at the self checkout.Theyre horrible about managing enough open registers to match the volume of customers.They stock constantly through the day. By stock I mean leave tons of stuff in the way and you will rarely see someone actually stocking.Do NOT trust any sale stuff they out out. Like spices. They are inconsistent with properly marking with products ringing up at full price. When I explained to the attendant. Her response was that she didnt have time to go check it. This from a woman who had stood in the same spot with a slack jaw look and not an ounce of motivation for 15 minutes before I approached her.Im a pretty chill person but after having gone so many times the only advice I have is to go for milk and then head to somewhere else. Hope this helps someone.
My experience with their automotive department was top notch! From the lady politely running the front desk to Datrial, the gentleman that work on my car issues, my experience was positive plus. What a joy to get such great service by people that care and are quite professional. Thanks again.
Ive been going to this walmart on and off for almost 3 years now. The staff here are not very friendly. The greeters dont even say welcome to walmart. When I have a return they are supper rude and rush me. After my last experience i do not feel good going to this walmart anymore. It is very unfortunate because this walmart is in a convenient location for me. Please work on better customer service. It doesnt hurt to listen and smile sometimes.

The normal complaint at this Walmart. Not enough registers open. And being on a walker waiting in the clothing section to checkout was very uncomfortable. I now I am doing pick up. Some items out of stock. But better experience.
I ordered online and picked up at the store. I love that thrust added this feature especially with some people not wanting to wear a mask. I get to avoid people like that and stay safe
The shrimp was absolutely fake! The food donโt taste the same to me and I been going here for years! But just taste your food before you get home. They have their hit and miss days
I like Walmart but I never find a frother so no coffee for me.
I go groceries and certain items Ive not seen in any other food stores. But what I dont like is the shortage of freezer items not available. More times than often the freezer will be barely any food on one side. The toy aisle should roll back prices in this area. And it should be a limit when going to self check out. Lines would move faster. Its clear they do not have enough day shift cashiers or evening. It is a nice location and staff seems friendly too.
Why is Walmart in the produce business? Horrible displays. They need a proper merchandising team. With the amount of traffic in stores a powerful display would increase sales. But thats always the case with Walmart. Poor displays/merchandising thru out the stores.
Really open, and easy to find things. Also large selection of clothing and especially groceries.
Got some supplies for my first apartment. Found everything I needed and the place was quiet and stocked well. Better than the cicero avenue for sure!
Never has anything I need in stock. Very dirty. Lots of employees standing around. Everyday looks like shelve adjustment day or rearranging month. Just like the road construction its always going on in the same areas. Rude employees. Cashiers arent even trained in the right direction to turn the bagged groceries carousel at check out. Cash paying customers are NEVER allowed to use self checkout and the 3 lines that are open usually extend into the clothing aisles anytime of the day. IT SUCKS.
Going to this store is a nightmare, dont go here, go to any other store.They have a really bad organization, long lanes all the time, cashiers scan the items so slow, if you ask for help to an associate they not always have an answer, products out of locations, employees walking around having a good time and most of the cashiers are closed all the time.Theres no 6 feet distance and no one respects the signs of the aisles.
Looks like many other shoppers had the same idea of prepping for a late summer camping trip. Items I specifically looked to buy at this location was not on the shelves. Specifically, no portable folding chairs, no tents and no mosquito coils. After I asked to see if there was any chance it was in back stock or the warehouse, I was told by two associates, if it says its available online at this location... its probably sold out.Walmart should do a better job to update the stock levels regularly. They do have plenty of fishing, knives and water/hydration supplies. Disappointing to say the least.
The sushi purchased from this location was really fresh! We stocked up on a lot of fresh sushi! We had about 6 of them. That sushi was very delicious and my 12 year old twins loved it! Theyโve been eating sushi since they were about 3 years old! I would get it for their birthday parties. My daughter told me that she wasnโt eating until she got some sushi. I told my son not to come back home until that sushi was found. Fresh, appealing and delicious!
I got what I wanted and was in and out relatively efficiently. Their prices are reasonable.
Clean and well stocked. I easily found what I was looking for (as well as things I had no intention of buying.) The parking lot was clean and the shopping carts were in their designated areas.I would recommend this Walmart store.
Store was well stock and clean. Even got a free gift from wellness center. Collapsible straw. Recently had neck surgery so it was perfect.
The store isnt clean, things are bunched together with no clear division between teens, womens and average sizes. It seems disorganized.
Large, clean Supercenter, with groceries, home items, garden center, and auto department. Generally fully stocked, yet there is enough room to move around comfortably.
I go here alot too because its close to my house and the prices there are pretty good too, good place to shop at l dont like the really long lines there but thats how it is always busy

Place was a mess at 1:30 in the afternoon. Most shelves were low in stock or empty. Checkout was a disaster with regular register lines into the clothing section. Self checkout was worse. Person managing the self checkout was letting people with full carts try to check out, slowing things down. Seemed busier than it was with the large crowds trying to check out and blocking the front of the store.
The woman A customer service was horrible she refused to put my return the items on a gift card so I could use the money in store. She forced me to put it back on my debit card. I think they need to train the customer service employee better. It was the woman I was working customer service on July 4 of 2021 at 1pm

Normally I dont have a problem with the Forest Park Portillos. This time I was charged twice for my Sept 12th visit. I went back the very next day with my receipt. I spoke with Mr Pedro Isibarzzi (Manager). Pedro assured me he was going to email corporate and the double charge would be addressed within 24hrs. Its is now 48hrs and counting and still no contact from anyone regarding this issue. (Very Poor Customer Service) Also in my opinion, Portillos has extended a leadership title to staff to young to fulfill the responsibility of Manager. I will be contacting corporate myself today! I would give this experience a zero if I could.
What do I say. ....They have everything you want, but Walmart does destroy local businesses....so not a fan.. I went because they open late and its convient to shop for food, electronics and home goods. I hate how there is always a long line and never enough cashiers. Store was crowded even at 9pm on Sunday. Happy with my purchases prefer a Target or Costco, but they were further away and closed.
This is the worst Walmart I have ever been to. I walk in at 2pm on a Friday afternoon...no carts. The guy who is looking at his phone (aka working) says there are carts on the other side so we all walk over there to find out there arent any. So I start my shopping hoping that when I come back there will be carts. Nope. And no baskets either. I end up leaving because I simply cannot carry everything I was planning to purchase. Come to my car and see carts literally everywhere in the parking lot. If the workers werent so busy chatting with each other and looking at their phones they couldve avoided this like you should avoid this Walmart. Never again. Ugh
Household groceries are an easy find, - no big crowd, parking aplenty. Yaaa!!!

My girlfriend and i came here to pick up a few things we needed for home and I was very pleased to see such an organized and clean store. The staff was always hard at work when I was there either stocking, training, helping, you name it. They had everything very well organized and stocked. Definitely recommend showing up.
The customer service rep was rude.On top of that the power went out.I will not go there ever again....
I havent been at this store in over a year. I saw some nice improvements & well staffed. Also a good selection! Ill be going back.
This store used to not be my choice of Walmarts, but it has improved quite a bit over the last four or five years. They did a full remodel to turn this into a full sized Super Walmart complete with a full bakery, deli, grocery, and produce section, and I think they may have made some changes in management as it seems much better run. If you used to shop here, and were turned off by it, you might want to give it another try, and you might be pleasantly surprised. I highly recommend this store.

Absolutely horrible service! I am not one to review and especially give bad reviews but I must speak up in this type of situation. First, no one answers the phone for customer service. Called 50+ times to see if they had the tires i needed and after being transferred to the auto shop line kept dropping from lack of picking up or bounced back to customer service only to speaking to Lucy so many times. Final speaking to Luis the manager having to check himself and finally locating and putting on hold. Only to drive hour and a half to a staff that could not locate...after being in the store for more than 3 hours. ยฒ finally found then thank God for him (only pleasant one and incompetent employee there) and to paying and finding out the price was wrong. I went to the customer service desk with Tanya the supervisor, i explained the whole situation. my whole day experience and asking to match the price that showed and was confirmed to online only for her to say we do not match online prices from walmart?!...I asked for her to do the expecting since Luis and Travina other 2 managers were gone for the day and she did not show any emphathy.....very disappointed.........horrible experience beyond anything i have ever experienced and have the call log and recordings to prove for those that do not believe....๐ณ. First and last time going here!
Very disappointed. Have not been able to shop since I broke my foot. I was able to shop for the first time today and there were NO electric carts available!! As I approached the store with my crutches, I asked the greeter and he informed me that the store only had one and it was in use. Only ONE electric cart in a store that size!! Not only did you lose my business today, I will be rethinking my future shopping. Walmart should ALWAYS be ready to accommodate people with disabilities and/or differently-abled

The store was all junkie and I wasnt able to FIND anything cus the people(workers)didnt want to help me find anything and I was totally disappointed at this store!!! So its safe to say that I wont be back no time soon.

Did not they have many section of clothing from plus size women and they made me wait to get changed and change room before I went in there it makes you appreciate Modestos better than they usually go to like wasps so I dont know if I ever would like to go back other than for pharmacy items again

The only reason this Walmart gets two stars is because of the employee that went beyond her department to find the cosmetic girl in the front chatting after being called three times through the Intercom โฆwe had already ask the other employee working in hardware to please help us and she said โNO you have to go to the front and get a managerโwith attitude. I didnโt get the associate name that actually help us and went beyond but she was at gardening and I thank her for actually working and showing what customer service is !!!!
Cozy place if you know what to expect from a Walmart Supercenter. Definitely great place to grab some essentials if you dont care about brand goods.

I have been calling the auto center for 2 days. Everytime I call I am put on hold and a recording comes on saying how important my call is. Well I really do not think that is true . I called 5 different times in 2 days and NO ONE Comes to the phone. When I call the store their excuse is there is only 1 person back there. Give me a Break!!!!

Today is July 1,2021. I have been working customer service for 8 years and have never seen such a poor performance for the whole 7 minutes of being checked out. She was in a rush to check out her mother .The girl on register 11. She didnt even use any type of customer service let along tossing EVERY item we had on the belt into the bag to the point we just offered to bag our own things. This is just pitful. Customer service is always the root and that there was not good. Me and my family will not be back to this location. $500+ in Walmart to get poor service wow

Often a true lack of customer service. Its rarely a smooth/good experience but this time I was in and out without incident. Three stars for that because it is the minimum expectation. Its so close that I go there at the most 1x/2month, if that. Im happy to give them 3 stars.
This walmart needs a lot of help. There were pallets of merchandise in the middle of the isles. A lot of employees were just talking to each other and not really working. I feel bad for the employees that actually were working because I feel like theyre the only reason the place is still up and running. I wouldnt shop here unless you really need something. Otherwise go to Target

This walmart usually has what I need. I dont wait in a long line to get in. Crew is generally helpful. I actually rode my bike today and needed some air in my tires. The guy allowed me to pump it my self. I appreciate it! Made for a smooth and fast ride back home.

The employees at this store need a training on customer service. It is often that they get upset when a customer asks for help. The cashiers are rude. I wish I had good things to say but I have never gone here and left without being treated poorly. Employees should be grateful for having a job instead of complaining about their responsibilities. Management please do something about this. I know there are good employees at this store but the poor customer service given by most of the employees is frustrating.

Only available checkout option is the self-checkout. Their machine is so high tech that it faults every other item. Sometimes it scans twice and there is no one working there to help. Sometimes it says I am stealing even though the item was already scanned. Fix your checkout machines.
Went to get bottled water and there were only a few cases of water that I dont drink. No Great Value

My experience at the Forest Park Walmart was horrible I was trying to make a purchase to Buy a T,V. And a heavy set manager by the name of Jerome Did not want to honor my price discrepancy There was 6 TVs marked for a different price and they did not want to give the t,v that the price was marked for I told him I was going to call corporate he then got upset and yelled at me infront of everyone and said call corporate call themLike he didnt care like he was like good luck like he was not going to get reprimanded for his behavior and him not following Walmarts polices.Walmart has a policy its call price discrepancy. they are supposed to honor the price what ever the item is priced for. He clearly did not he made a big scene in the store and embarrassed me and made comments to me as If did not knowIf Walmart can honor this sale then I would be satisfied even if I have to drive all the way back to walmart 45min drive. Thank you!!!

I popped into this Walmart to get me a pair of white shoes for clinical. They were the only one that had the white shoes I needed in my size. The other Walmarts were either completely out or didnt have my size. And it only cost my about 11 bucks! โค๐
