I had a great experience at Mazda collision center. I chose to get my car fixed here since I leased the car from Gunther Mazda Dealership. Ernie was my advisor and he was great. Always kept me in the loop regarding my car and made sure they did quality work on my car. He even stayed after work on a Friday to help troubleshoot and issue with the screen in my car so I didn’t have to bring the car back the following week. He went above and beyond! Overall I was very satisfied with my experience.

I was involved in a hit and run 4 blocks from my home whoever hit me must have been doing 80. He hit me and took out a fence. My car has been in the shop for over a week. Got my car back it looks like a brand new car I am totally impressed plus Im happy its back at home being without a car is horrible

This is my fourth time bringing an automobile to Gunther Collision because of Jason Hamill. It is never a fun reason when you need to bring a car to a body shop, but Jason makes the process as easy as possible. And this time, due to some unforeseen circumstances, we also had help from Jacqui and Juan. We appreciated that everyone worked diligently to get our repair done as efficiently as possible despite some challenges with parts and insurance. The car looks brand new!

My Volvo had pretty extensive damage from being struck by an airborne sheet of plywood on I95. Gunther Collision did an amazing job on the repairs. The Volvo looks brand new. They were great about sending me updates to let me know how the repairs were going, they coordinated everything with my auto insurance company, there is an Enterprise Rental Car office on site, and picking up the vehicle was easy and efficient. My contact there was Juan Tineo and he was excellent. I highly recommend Gunther Collision Center. Ask for Juan Tineo.

I took my VW Passat to Gunther Collision Center for repair after I was rear-ended. I am extremely satisfied with the repairs, the communication of the gentleman handling my car - Jason and with the attention to detail. My car was returned to me not only cleaned but santitized. I am a Mom so this definitely was a wonderful surprise! The team at Gunther did a fantastic job on my car from beginning to end I am extremely satified!

Its a frustrating process being involved in an accident and be left stranded without a car but Gunther Collision Center made the repairing process as smooth and simple as possible, they even have the rental company in the premises so you are in and out.The staff is very friendly, Jason Hamill handled my case professionally and kept me informed throughout the process.My GTI had a damaged back door, quarter panel, wheel and suspension. In the end my car was left as new, you cant tell anything happened. After two weeks the car is running smoothly with no issues.

I was rear ended after only having my new car for 4 weeks and I was heartbroken to see the condition it was in. Gunther Collision Center came to the rescue and took great care of my car! I had the best service/collision experience of my driving life. My contact person was Jason, and he kept me up to date at every step. Even on the day of pickup, he sent me several emails to let me know where in the process things were. My car was returned to me exactly on the date I asked for. Jason is completely awesome.

There should be a negative symbol next to the one star I gave. This place is horrible!!! They promised my car would be completed on three different dates and could not produce. There was absolutely no communication to update me on when my car would be finished, after missing the date it was promised. This happened three times.... Than I was told to pick up my car on Saturday, when they are closed. Avoid this place at all cost! Especially that moron Juan!

Oh man. Nothing is worse that seeing your new baby get demolished at a parking lot. Whole rear left side was dented in. Light gone, bumper trashed, it was in need of a hell of a job. Sticks and stones though. Brought my 2017 crosstrek to Gunther after analizing all the options I was getting from my insurance. The guys were efficient, quick and super knowledgeable. My car was ready at the end of the third day and it was like taking it out of the dealerships lot, brand new. Thanks guys, you have no idea!

My Mazda CX 5 got into a hit and run. Decided to have it fixed here. This was a great decision! Juan handled my case and kept me informed along the way. The damage was a bit more extensive than expected so it took just under two weeks to complete. It was worth the wait; would recommend them for any type of body work.

My wifes Volvo XC90 just was put back together by the collision shop on 441after a collission. I must say that Jason is who handled our vehicle from the start to the end. He is extremely professional,in not only the repairs with the vehicle, but in the way he worked with us as the owners. It was a task getting the vehicle to the collission center due to issues with the wrecker company, but Jason helped. We were kept up to date every step of the process in the repairs. The process from the time the car arrived to the collission center until today when we picked up the vehicle was handled in the most professional manner.

I had my Kia Optima 2014 SX Turbo serviced here last year. Took them over a month to get my car back, excuse is they had to wait because of the amount of lifts. Once my car was received, they still didn’t finish the work. Now that some time has passed, I am noticing screws missing that were not put back. The back seat is loose as it was not put back properly. Then the work done is already coming apart, really unprofessional work. Cost for the work done was $14000+ insurance paid for it, but it is becoming visible that this place will cut corners to same on time but charge full price for professional work. Was refraining from waiting this review for some time, but with the additional discovered items kind of had to.

Id rather my car be fixed by a rabid opossum than give it to a gunther to fix! james gunther went out of his way to call me and feed me a ton of lies about earning my business after multiple employees were unable to get me a quote.after promising to handle me personally, james gunther had actually left hours beforehand and had put some arrogant sales rep up to handle me.worst customer experience of my life, just glad they were so bad before i gave them any more money

Id give negative stars if I could. Brought our car to the collision center in April and it took them over one month to return our car. We were told our car would be ready on a certain date atleast 3 times and they kept on extending it. We had a rental that our car insurance covered until the car was ready, but the rental got maxed out since the collision center couldnt finish their job. We were told to keep the rental car for the additional 2 weeks that the collision center was keeping our car for and that they would cover the fee. The rental company charged me $400+ because the collison center didnt pay them even after receiving the bill 3 months ago. Dont waste your time or money with the terrible customer service.

I have never met someone as incompetent as Juan Tineo in the Collision Center at Gunther. Every time I would call, he would say, Oh I was about to call you. and then proceed to explain how no work was done because of x,y,z excuse. Not only that, after waiting for a month to get my car back, the issue was seemingly untouched, and I had to take it somewhere else. If you ever find yourself in the unfortunate position of having to work with him, RUN FAST and FAR AWAY.

Horrible, really really sad trashy work for 3 weeks until I really got mad at them. They were trying to pass off complete trash of work as repairs. They were trying to keep as much insurance money as possible without fixing the rear bumper of my GTI. They then painted the original black broken bumper with blue paint and thought it was funny. Bought my GTi from and was going to buy a Tiguan but will not. They finally used a new rear bumper and painted it black like they should have since the beginning. The Asian Jamaican thats a customer service rep is unprofessional and likes treating customers like theyre stupid, pathetic.. Stay away, very very unprofessional and incompetent shop

This is my review of Gunther Collision Center in Ft. Lauderdale, an ICar certified and VW certified repair shop.This was an insurance claim.Gunther had my car for 5 weeks.When the car was brought to the front it was unacceptable:There was still a dent that was identified by our insurance agent upon initial inspection but overlooked or ignored by Gunther.The replaced hatch back door was misaligned (it was so obvious, I’m shocked they allowed the car to leave the shop like this.) The entire interior, every surface, was covered in dirt and dust, if I would have sat down, my clothes would have been black with dirt.The exterior was covered in hundreds of yellow sap dots.Ants had colonized the seats and interior.We have to assume Gunther left the car outside under a tree and with the windows open, as well as left the windows or hatch open while in the shop and sanding/work was being done all around it. It was clear that the car was never taped shut. Gunther also took all my items out from the storage compartment between trunk floor and spare tire cover and threw them into the rear passenger footwells. The passenger side turn signal cover in the mirror housing was also busted, Juan tried to tell us that it wasn’t Gunther’s fault. Our repair was an insurance claim. This car was looked over from front to back by our insurance company, I know what condition my car was in when it was dropped off, the mirror was broken while in the care of Gunther. Lastly, the spare tire cover and waterproof tray were missing.We refused to take the car.A few days later, we were told the car was ready. I was rushed so we just took the vehicle. Upon driving it for a day, we discovered – the gas door wouldn’t open, hatch says its open when its not (this caused the rear wiper and water spray to not work,) trim coming apart on hatch door and my brake lights were not working (I was driving around for 4 days with no brake lights!) Meanwhile, we had to take out the seats and work on dealing with the ant colony ourselves, as well as vacuum and wipe down the car ourselves (I still would like to do a full detail to get my car to the condition it was before.)When I spoke with service rep, Juan, about how the car is still not finished, he became irritated with me. He started explaining how he was doing me all these special favors like –Covering for my rental – well, if my car was actually finished the day you told my insurance company it was finished, then the rental would not be needed.Fixing the mirror signal lens – Of course Gunther is responsible for fixing this, I didn’t drop my car off with it broken.Within six hours of having my car back after this repair trip, the hatch back door was still indicating that it was open. At this point I felt it necessary to stop dealing with Juan and to start working with the manager, Tom. He told me to bring in the car Wednesday morning and he would have a rental waiting for me so that I didn’t have to waste any more time on this. He assured me that I would get my car back done right and everything would be fine.When we arrived, there actually was no rental waiting for me, Tom said it would be fine, this should only be a couple minutes. He looked at the hatch door and said it was our problem, we just have to really really slam the door shut in order for it to indicate that it was shut. No. No No No No. We asked him to please adjust the door so that it can be shut normally, the way that we have been shutting it for the last 4-5 years. This appointment took almost an hour, so I had to cancel my appointment. Adding more money and time lost that this collision center has caused me.After the accident, I was hoping to get my car back in the shape it was in before the accident.. I’ve never seen such unprofessional workmanship in the 4 years that I’ve had my car. I chose Gunther collision because I wanted my car to be fixed to VW standards. Reading how Gunther collision markets itself, I would say I received the exact opposite of what they claim to be.

No one calls you to let you know the status of your car and when you call there is always some excuse. The car was supposed to be ready after 3 business days, then 4 after we dropped the car off. They have had the car 10 business days as of today. At this point I wouldnt be surprised if someone is driving around in my car. STAY AWAY THIS PLACE IS A JOKE!!!!!!
