I live very close and go to the Public’s on Cordova Road often. I find the employees very friendly and helpful. The store is always clean and usually, I can find everything I want.I do have one complaint. I am on often unhappy that people are bringing dogs into the grocery store.Several times I have been barked at by dogs on leashes walking behind their owners. I thought that bringing animals into a food establishment is against the health code. I have asked employees about this and have been given many answers. Once I was told that “They get mad if you say something to them.” Another time, when I went to the information desk, I was told “ well, there’s a sign on the door and we can’t do anything if they bring them in.“ I looked, and there is no such sign. I did however see one at the Whole Foods up the street. I understand that there are some people that need service animals. Those should be allowed in. But other people’s dogs running around on leashes in the store that have no business should not be allowed. I like dogs as much as the next person, but this is where I buy my food.I would appreciate if someone could check into this and maybe put that sign up on the door and ask people who are bringing dogs into the store that are not certified to leave them at home.Please go to the Whole Foods or to the entrance of the Coral Ridge Mall and see what their signs say. I wasn’t sure how to add it onto the site.Thank you

This one is huge, and the inside makes you feel like you are on vacation. This branch carries the same items other Publix do but somehow I feel more relax. Maybe the big selection of beer and wine? Maybe the extra space? I just feel happier shopping here. Well if the price is lower I will feel even better.

It was very fast and it did not take me 10 minutes to take what they need and pay. excellent attention great!

THE BEST PUBLIX IN BROWARD! I always complained about how some Publixs employees and Managers behave...however I said let me drive 15 minutes to Total Wine to get some medicine and I noticed there is a Publix there so I went inside! Boy what can I tell you. The cashier and the people even the customers are nice! Clean, stocked and the environment super inviting! I loved it and will only visit this one from now on! What an experience!

One of their largest stores here in Fort Lauderdale. I was amazed by the many imported goods and abundant supplies of everyday food items as well.

This is an extra large Publix location that I shop at about half the time. The store was clean and well stocked and the employees were finishing up with stock work when I got there around 9:45 yesterday morning. The store was busy but not crowded. Needed to get the basics to hold me over until I head out of town next week. Had a busy day ahead of me so wanted to get out of there & get home. When I headed to the front of the store to check out there was only one lane open with about 4 customers ahead of me. The self check out lanes were open but Im not a fan unless I only have a few items. I was hoping another lane would open but no such luck. Managers & supervisors were in the area so they were aware of the situation. So I waited patiently and finally got to the front of the line.Cashier was very friendly but there was no bagger and she just pushed the items to the bagging area as if she was expecting me to bag my own groceriesAt that point I was getting annoyed. Prices keep going up and it seems service is going down. I am now shopping at about 3 different places to get everything I need & try to keep within budget. Not happening. If this is going to be a thing Ill stop shopping at Publix and try somewhere new.This trip wasnt as much of a pleasure as usual. Check out reminded me more of a big box store than my local Publix.

I have taken back very few things but the things I did were accepted quick and without hassle.. great place to shop...

They were out of breaded fried wings and Darlene and her staff cooked some fresh ones for me. I appreciate them for going beyond what was expected especially in this day and age. The young man that prepared them said it was his pleasure but actually it was mine. Thank you Publix for hiring great employees, I will definitely be back.

I prefer this place over Whole Foods. They have Fairlife milk which is my main reason for coming. The produce is just as fresh, maybe even a bit better for most fruit. The butcher section isnt as good, but I come to Publix for small pre-packaged lean meats anyway. Parking lot is adequate. There are still a lot of a**hole customers who leave their carts in parking spots, but that seems to just be lazy, trashy east coast people and nothing to do with this Publix in particular.

We look forward to visiting this store before we cruise, they have great variety and awesome sandwiches. Had a small problem with employee but I talked with management and he promised to address and asked for my suggestion and I replied with more CSR training.

This is a fabulous Super Market I wish we had one close to us . Every time we are in Florida we have to shop there its the only place we can find our Thomas English muffins that are corn muffins.

Grocery shopping, it was very quiet, but a few rows blocked because air conditioning was out.

Staff is awesome. Always has what Im looking for. Fresh fruit section is off the chain.

My sub was superb! Thanks to Pedro. I saw the store manager helping people at the self-counter. Ive never seen that before. I think the other Publix stores should look after this store as an example. This particular Publix is off of Cordova Road and 17th Street. It is in the heart of the Port area with easy access to all parts of Ft.Lauderdale downtown. Large, clean, 🌞 bright with some items not found in other Publix markets and some of the best staff around! Drawbacks..1.Heavy,heavy traffic during holidays,weekends and Spring Break. Weekends are particularly trying in fighting traffic. For a local, earlier or mid -afternoons are best! Coming out of wearing masks may present a headache as there are many, many tourists of all ages who go shopping Without wearing masks or social distancing and today I didnt find anyone wiping down carts as there had been before! So I guess it is up to us.as individuals as to what risks we are willing to take! Stay safe. Be safe!

All they gave me was a container for salad full of spinach and lettuce no meat at all where was the meat for an Italian salad

I dont know what has happened to this Publix it used to be great however in the last 6 months to a year I noticed the employees are incredibly unfriendly, unkind, unhospitable and basically dont care about the customer. They make me feel that my mere presence in their store pisses them off! The deli is the absolute worst! I actually drive out of my way now to go to the Publix on Griffin and University because they are very friendly, very kind, very hospitable and Incredibly helpful!

This Publix is the worst. Every time i go there i regret. Today i went with my daughter at 9:15am, went to the bakery where 3 girls were working and not one of the acknowledged us. After saying excuse me 3 times one of them looked up and looked annoyed i was asking a question. I asked how long on cupcakes and she rolled her eyes and said very rudely “i don’t know, like an hour”. I left my cart there and left. Never ever again will i step foot into this Publix. The employees are so rude and DO NOT make shopping a pleasure

Grossly overcharged me for a bag of onions without a barcode, cashier and customer service refused to help me correct this immediately after the transaction.Completely rude customer service rep shushed my wife, decided to skip over us and then proceeded to disappear and not help anyone else in line for almost half an hour. Most of us in line gave up and left.

Once the configuration became familiar, it was great. Nice selection also

Publix used to be known for being friendly, ha! Wow, Loren (tall guy) what an rude disrespectful person! I was kind and friendly, stated off w/ “hey there... you’ve been here a while. Where can I find coconut water”. He never looked at me, never looked up. Had a mask on but even so, you could clearly see his poor attitude! I went back, he was wrong... asked again and he was on his phone and didn’t look up again. I laid into him, professionally! I said, “for an employee of Publix I’m shocked, your attitude is poor you have zero customer service skills, that’s the second time I’ve asked a question and you can’t even look at me”. He asked me to repeat.. you bet I did... clearly!!! Then I checked out, I said afternoon to the lady, no response back. FYI: I’m friendly and loud, USAF Veteran... you hear me loud. Then, no one is bagging my goods!?!? FreshMarket... they always do! Trader Joe’s, they always do! I did most. She helped at the end and wish she didn’t. She placed two milk cartons in one plastic bag and yup it broke when loading car and it hit the ground and is damaged. No way am I going back in. Wow... what a terrible experience! FYI: I live .1/2 mile away, 20 yrs., I’m finally done w/ this location. I won’t go back! Where oh where did the friendly Publix Shopping experience go?!?!

Everyone is very helpful here and is a place where you can walk in or set an appointment for the Johnson & Johnson or Moderna 2 series covid-19 shot.The store is clean and full of more choices of both store and name brand food. A well stocked bakery, deli, meat, and fresh produce selection.The pharmacy is also very helpful in answering any and all questions you may have and if they dont know for those wierd one off questions they will refer you to someone who just might have the answers you seek.Great job on this location Publix

This is one of the cleanest and best maintained grocery stores I have been to. There is a big selection of fresh food, cheese, desserts, etc. They often have discounts so you can find some great deals.

Quite possibly the friendliest and most helpful staff in town.

This publix has a hard time staying stocked. It might be time to hire a better inventory person. It is obviously the locations problem as the other Ft. Lauderdale stores do not have this issue. Also Publix needs to bring back their gas card promo more often if they are going to compete price wise. Walmart is much more affordable without the gas card.

As usual all Publix maintain a standard that are excellent ..no doubt bout shopping at any Publix. 👌

Sandwich staff sucks. Ordered subs twice online. Twice wrong and got over 15 minutes after the pick up time. Back there laughing and yucking it up with no regard for the customers waiting patiently.

Publix subs are great everyone know it except management. Waited in line for 20 min with only one customer in front of me while three managers watched. They didnt seem to care I was in line so long and thats probably the problem.

Definitely my favorite Publix in town. They really go out of their way to help you find things or call other locations to see if they have what you’re looking for. This will always be my go to location.

Staff is great. Selection is ok. The store is way too small. Deli is crammed into a small area, as is the produce dept. Lots of customers park their carts elsewhere and walk back and forth. This leads to blocked aisles. The dairy and bread aisles are next to impossible to maneuver. Park your cart in the wine section and walk back and forth. The new Whole.Foods is much more convenient.

I dont understand why Publix doesnt have more people in the deli or where they make the subs here it was both show weekend is one Deli person and the sub line was 20 people deep and it was one woman but yet they have two people working on to-go orders that makes no sense it was the worst and its like that all the time I dont know whats happening to Publix and Im getting really fed up with them

I was going to the beach ⛱ and I had order online for a pick up at the Deli a sub 🥪 (only pic they had) anyways as I get there to check if they had left my sub on the pick up section I saw there there were about 3 or 4 people waiting. Then it hit me, my sub is no where to be ready even on the pick up time. The Deli almost always runs late on orders. But it is ok I am just letting yall know wasup. A little patience goes long. Some people that were waiting had no patience and started talking smack which rubs me the wrong way because I am sure they get a lot of orders online n they are doing the best they can. Anyways the day was great n the sub the ladies did at Publix Deli was delicious 😋👌🏽it hit the spot. In conclusion I change my 3 star to 4 star since the lady was so nice to me n made sure I get my sub next after a few rude people left. It is not easy when ur job deals with many different kinds of people, so just remember be nice n treat others like u want to be treated. Staff seem overwhelmed but they manage.

Dont order subs online. Have done it multiple times and they are always late even if there is no one in line. Always faster to just go to the counter. Also only 3 lanes open at 630 on a Saturday.If you want a quick in and out, this isnt your place.

A native Floridian, Ive shopped and loved Publix supermarkets my entire life. I have to say, this is one of the worst locations when it comes to customer service. The deli is the absolute WORST. Employees move at a snails pace and will pause to continue conversations amongst themselves. There is little to no regard for the customer. I actually left the store once because they wasted so much of my time! Ive placed online orders to avoid this hassle, but often those are incorrect or not filled at all. While there are some friendly cashiers, most avoid verbal interactions and come off rude. Maybe its just a product of the location. I LOVE the employees in Davie and Plantation... too bad I cant call either of those my home Publix.

Picked up a cabbage today to add to the corned beef I was making - 3 days after St. Patricks Day. Ended up paying $8.95 for it! Really?? I dont care that it was large and organic. (There were no non-organic cabbages at this store). The price was ridiculous, and I will be buying my produce elsewhere.
