He is professional and efficient and will be service people and parts to get your boat in great condition. He recently handled a number of repair jobs on my Grady White while I have been out of town and was great at communicating what was needed and providing suggestionsand estimates. I then asked him to handle the sale of the boat with excellent results. Honest and fair and great communications. Highly recommend.

Very poor service. Alex or Dylan was the salesman don’t know if they associated with banyan bay marina but i am from the bahamas came here to purchase the boat from the start to the finish it was a total run around and waste of time won’t go into full detail but this was a bad first experience now because of them I will be spending a week that wasn’t plan AT DIFFERENT MARINA because of the poor service. Thanks for the nice boat but didn’t appreciate the service at all bad customer service. Not a happy customer at all

One star is too much! My jet ski was damaged and needed repairing, I was working with Ross Charno, who seemed to more than willing to work with me. Initially, we communicated via text message and sent him photos of the damage. I was given a price range of $1500-$2000 to repair it. He was willing to wait after hours to have me drop off the jet ski and receive a deposit. Upon arriving, he tells me he couldn’t tell the damages were “to that extent”, red flag #1. The story changed and he advised the cost could range anywhere up to $7000. He asked me if I had insurance and after confirming that I did not, he quoted me somewhere around $4000 “as a courtesy”. At this point, I advised him that I was not able to do business with him due to the cost. He then insisted on helping me because “I’m a nice guy” and quoted me 2.6k. I accepted the offer after being promised the best service. Initially I gave him $1000 cash and received a “confirmation text” I was never given a receipt or invoice. Within a week I gave him another $1000 in order for him to begin working on the repairs. This man agreed to meet me at a different location just to pick up the cash. Again, no receipt or invoice, just text confirmation to my girlfriend. He advised me it would take approximately two weeks to finish the job. He told me I had to give him the remaining $600 in order to pick it up. Once the jet ski was ready for pickup I was told to see him in one month in order for him to sand/smooth paint as it was too soon. He guaranteed the jet ski was safe and ready for use.Upon pick up, I noticed that there was paint EVERYWHERE. The entire jet ski was ruined with paint droplets. There were cracks on the inside, I was missing screws and overall the quality was atrocious. That weekend I took the jet ski out to test the repair, and in less than an hour there was a huge visible crack. I contacted to let him know I needed to take a look at the damages once again as I felt this was a danger to myself. This is where things got nasty. He advised me that the cracks were normal (all of a sudden) and that water would not leak. Suddenly, he was unavailable to talk to me face to face. At this point I’m dealing with Jon. I took the jet ski and after looking at it, the ENTIRE story changed. He told me Ross would never guarantee a good repair due to the type of damages that were done. I was NEVER warned of this by the man himself. Jon and I had a brief discussion and he agreed they would “try to fix it”. I was told the jet ski was going to be rid of the paint droplets and the cracks would be repaired. Ross then offered me a $600 refund which required me to sign a document. I declined the offer as I knew I was signing over my rights. The jet ski is currently sitting at my home, a piece of garbage, unusable. This is a great lesson learned. Their public image seems amazing but DO NOT trust this man. This company is a SCAM!

HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!DO NOT GO HERE, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL they painted over the cracks and didn’t fix anything over charged, got paint all over my jet ski then processed to block me after, save your money and your time go some where else !!!!!

I’ve been calling all morning looking for a new dry rack marina around the Miami area. I must say this place was a tall glass of water in the middle of the desert of south Florida marinas. Unlike other places, the woman who answered the calls was polite, professional and very attentive to all my questions.

Great staff, super friendly and helpful. When I call in to get my boat in the water the staff is always pleasant, friendly and attentive. The gentleman that drives the lift is also super friendly and helpful. Price is great for the south Florida area, I really enjoy it there. Worth the longer ride on the canal.

Responding to Banyan Bays response. The main reason that I had left a 2 star rating was that drugs(pot amongst other substances) were being done at the tiki constantly and for the overall lack of cleanliness. I dont do drugs. Wasnt going to go into detail, but now that you have responded the way you did for a simple numerical rating, I felt the need to defend my rating. Any repairs done by you, I paid for I wasnt there for years. I was there a total of 1.3 yrs. If there were free services that were offered, I sure didnt know about them. I paid for all repairs, nothing was given to me. You also charge dearly for your repairs, so thats why people who live there go through private individuals. I mostly enjoyed my time there, and really wish you hadnt pushed my hand into writing a rebuttal. I did, however, want to let the general public know why I left the rating that I did. Bye.

These guys here are awesome. Was in town from out of state picking up a 50 boat. Needed a spot to keep the boat and trailer for a few days. And they were beyond fair and accommodating! Cant say enough good things about them besides Ill be back!

Relatively inexpensive place to store a boat. Full service marina. There is no covered boat storage and its a bit far from the ICW. Good place for a project boat with slips available in water or on the hard. I stored my boat here for a year before I sold it. They kept it out of harms way during storms and the staff was pleasant to deal with. Fixed bridges so sail boaters and tuna towers may want to look elsewhere.

I herd they wont be launching boats Saturdays and Sundays. Too bad! you have to request Friday no later than 4 pm if you think you migh use your boat during the weekend. Definitely not a good move. I hope they reconsider

I like dealing with Banyan. The reason being, I have 24hr access for my boat unlike other places, your limited on their times! Dont mind the place is slowly developing. Its a growing marine center.

Bad experience in every sense. Our boat was there over three weeks for a simple engine tune and bottom paint. They would never return our calls or give us a date when the boat would be ready. When it was FINALLY ready the things we had requested werent all completed. They had left our boat out and the window open so during a week of heavy rain our galley was flooded. When we arranged to pick it up, only one worker was there to use fork lift and it took him an hour to get it onto the trailer (and scraped the bottom paint off in the process). Be warned - do not waste your time or money here.

When I found out I was getting deployed Id was notified that Id also gotten a new HOA and their rules were no recreational vehicles left over night. That left me searching for a temp home for my Rinker 270. Thinking I was in luck I came across Banyan Bay so I left my boat there. When I returned from my 9 month deployment I couldnt believe the damage done to my boat. The engine hatch had been left open unknown amount of time and the throttle body left exposed to the elements. The dive ladder stolen from the swim deck. One of my 4 tires stolen from the trailer. When I contacted the office the manager walked with me to the boat and defensively denied any of the damage occurring there. He even claimed I actually drove that extremely heavy boat minus a wheel from Miami there totally crazy. I got so angry I couldnt think straight. He had the mechanic find a tire from somewhere and put it on my trailer and told me to keep checking with them to get another ladder. My engine hasnt run the same since and I still have no dive ladder. Some obviously have not had the awful experience I did but beware. I have yet to have had an apology or acceptance of responsibility. I believe Larry was the name of the manager.

My husband and I enjoy the time we spend on our boat, which is stored at Banyan Bay Marina. Alfie is amazing and the office staff will listen to your concerns and Ashley and John will do their utmost to ensure a pleasant Banyan Bay experience.

Complete joke of a company. Only one person in the whole place can make any decisions and hes perpetually out of town. Learn from my experience and dont waste your time. I wish 0 stars was an option.

Staff is always a pleasure and always accomadating us. We were having our boat hauled out inpreparation for hurricane Irma. Even though they were so busy on getting others hauled out, we felt they gave us priority and made us feel at ease. We than decided to have the bottom painted. Alfie always made sure we had what we needed.

General manager is a liar and does not keep his word, wouldnt unload my boat from transporters trailer- resulting in boat being taken and held for $75 a day. they actually made me a lease and i paid as per our agreement, then tripled the amount due. John the gen. mgr.is truly untrustable and a drug addict. no other excuse for his eratic behavior!

Find a better place that cares about you and your boat, bayan bay has workers that drink and smoke on the job and then will operate the machinery to move your boat ive seen them take shots in the shop and hide the bottles on there work area and go back to work & scarp the sides of boats, brake parts, even have parts stolen from boats.bayan bay does not drug test.someone has died from an overdose in the bathroom,ive found needles and baggies on the floor even caught someone on a boat shooting up with a needle in his arm disgusting. Banyan bay will find ways to scam you out your money, they only care about money and not your boat,your boat will be here for weeks and weeks and not touched or fixed, Only one person knows where all the boats are located on property and the manger is very bipolar and very unprofessional yells at customers that are just looking for there boats because the manger doesnt know where anything is because hes mostly outa town or taken vacations. Find a better boat yard that cares about you and your boat.

Just got by boat back last week had the 100 hour service done for my twin Honda outboards,, bottom painted and seat covers redone. Everything turned out great work was done in a timely manner, very professional and the price was right.

They charged me over $650 to sand and buff (polish) my 26 boat hull and they only buffed the hull, which only lasted 2 months polished.

Can you say dump! Oh, and a dump manager too. Stay away!
