I went in tonight to purchase piercing jewelry and the guy whom was there (medium length dark hair, glasses) was disgustingly rude and the most unprofessional person I’ve ever dealt with in any business industry. I asked to purchase and he repeatedly stated in a condescending aggressive tone that the piercer was out. Again, I never asked for a piercing I once again advised him that I only wanted to purchase jewelry. He again repeated the same exact thing and turned his back on me. If you are considering going here please save your time if you like to be treated like a human being with respect.There were even a few people outside who stated he had the same nasty attitude to them.Disgusting, do better!

Website and door states open at 11am. I got there around noon. No one there and doors locked. Called, no answer. Sent an FB message, no response. No updates if his are changed our anything...

The entire experience was a series of red flags. First off I called ahead on Friday the 13th inquiring about any special deals and I was told that there was a spring break deal starting at $75. I get to the shop and there is only one tattooer by the name of “John.” I was told to come back around midnight and made a deposit of $20 for the drawing. Come back at midnight and we didn’t start till 1:30am because he was just taking his sweet time. Now down to the actual tattoo. He admits he made a mistake (his exact words were “I don’t like that”) and tried to correct it (said he was removing a line, is that even possible?). To sum up this experience we didn’t get done till 3:30am and when it came time to pay he tried to charge me $200. I told him about the phone conversation we had prior, him taking his sweet time, and the mistake he made and said he’ll bring it down to the shop minimum of $150 (what happened to the “starting at $75” deal?). I didn’t want to argue I had work in 5 hours. I even left a tip like a nice person and when I gave him $20 I asked for $5 back and he didn’t give it to me.Few days go by. My tattoo is infected, it is gushing blood and pus and now I’m afraid it can get worse.If you want a tattoo, go to Babylon tattoo. I mentioned I had a previously went to them and I really loved it but John was more focused on talking trash about them. I can see why now, they’re so much better. I hope that extra $5 got you what you needed, John. 👍🏻

Got my nose pierced yesterday. I was recommended to the shop by a friend and John didnt disappoint. He made a point to be as thorough as possible answering all my odd questions. I may have yelled a few obscenities here and there but he stayed professional yet very comforting! Piercing looks awesome already, I cant even feel it. It helped knowing how particular John was about keeping the entire station sterile and clean while setting up and even after he finished! Next time I visit the area, I definitely plan to make an appointment for a tattoo and keep in touch with this exact artist. Thanks to the staff there during our visit, we had a great time with great results.

I go in to get a piercing at 8:30pm, I was told to come back the next day after 4 pm since the artist is tired and doesnt want to work. They turn away another customer in the process, never mind the fact they are supposed to close at 11. Next day, I call around 8pm (they close at 1am), they say they arent doing piercings and to try again tomorrow I wasted 2 days over this. If you dont do piercings, dont advertise that you do.

I went in on an impulse decision to get my nose pierced! It was pretty late in the evening and they were so nice about it. Most places are not so accommodating to walk ins. John took care of me and I love my new piercing! Only downside is that you dont get to pick the stud they use. Luckily, he used a small white diamond stud and it looks great. Definitely would reccomend the shop. If you are into japanese art I would also reccomend checking it out. They had some amazing portfolios and sketches out.

Very clean, they must be doing something right theyve been there for over 20 years. I came in off the street and the tattoo artist spent lots of time with me and did a great job. The artwork looks great. I even received a phone call two weeks after my session to see how I like my tattoo. Great place to go.

Damian is an absolute genius when it comes to his skill as a tattoo artist. He has so much experience and will offer patient and courteous advice should you have a question. Before going anywhere else please do yourself a favor and go see him first. I could not be more pleased. Thank you so much Damian.

The atmosphere makes you so relaxed while getting a tattoo or piercings. My friends and I have been going to Bruce Bart for many years, I wouldnt go anywhere else. Love all my tattoos.

If I could give negative stars I would. Took my son to get snake bites (lip piercings). The guy did the first one okay, but pierced the second one severely crooked (like went in under the lip and straight out the top). He then re-pierced it crooked again but denied it saying that it looked crooked because it was now swollen. Well, months later and the piercing is definitely crooked. Currently looking for someone who can fix this mess. 😕

It was a great experience, the owner personally pierced my 17 year old sons nose and his friend. He was very gentle and very sociable and very informative. I would definitely go back there

Amazing work and great people that are passionate about body art! I read the old reviews from 6-7 years ago, and I was skeptical. (But if I was judged by the person I was 7 years ago, no one would like me either. Lmao.) Damien Bart now owns the shop and he is a cool ass dude. He is professional and talented to say the least. I highly highly recommend this shop and all the artists there to anyone in the market for a tattoo. They even have specials and promotions that make it a bit more affordable and exciting to get up and go get the fresh ink were all dying for!

Eric made my first tattoo experience amazing. 31 years of experience and it shows. He made me feel more than comfortable about getting my first tattoo and I felt like I could trust him right off the bat. Highly recommend to others.

Got my daughter a nose piercing. A bit pricey for what were used to but its South FL and Paradise aint cheap. No problems with the piercing work.

Go see John White. Hes amazing. :) I went in to get a portrait done of my grandmother. I was so scared. We have all seen horrible portraits out there. He was so professional. He had a sketch done before I got to my appointment. Really great at asking if I needed a break. It looks amazing! I cant wait until it heals up. He really captured her facial expression. I will definitely go back to see him with a few other ideas I have.

2014-2015 I got some tattoos. Joshua did my tats. Hes a cool dude. He touched up my old superman tattoo for free, but my recent tattoos, I got on my forearms was pretty bad. My right arm isnt as bad as my left arm though. Not all my tats on both arms are bad just a few. I guess he clearly didnt understand what I wanted, so I have to walk around with this mess on my arms the rest of my life.I dont know why it tooked me so long to write a review.

Had 3 piercings done the other day. High prices, but decent work. Went back the next day for tattoos. There was a sign on the door that said back in 10. He was sitting at his computer, saw us waiting and did not acknowledge us for over 15 minutes. Very unprofessional.

Got my Tragus done here yesterday and it was awful. I asked him to count down before he did the piercing and he did not do so. He decided to pierce it with a hoop that was far too big for my ear so it stuck straight out. I went to another shop the next day and they had to repierce my ear because instead of piercing it through the front of the cartilage and out the back, he pierced it through the front and out the side. First time was way more painful and bled a lot more than the second time I got it properly pierced. Very rude and unwelcoming, especially when I had questions. Would not recommend this place at all.

My tattoo artist was amazing. You can really tell this is his passion and he puts a lot of effort into what he does. I could give 10 stars I would. I was refereed to by a friend and I am so glad I went to him. The pain is minimal. I cannot wait to get more done to this peace. I will be back!!!

Where do I begin??😠😠My fiance and I walked in we were ignored for about 5 minutes n mind u the 2 gentlemen were standing in front of us talking. 1st Red Flag...then when asked about belly piercing, they act like they didnt want to answer any questions 2nd Red Flag...Got the piercing and 2 weeks later was hurting SOOOOO bad I couldnt function. Decided to take it out and to my surprise he pierced me and placed the smallest ball they had which caused the jewelry to be embedded in my skin...No wonder I was in so much pain...Oh and while we were in there to Caucasian women came in and they were acknowledged soon as they walked thru the door. 🤔✌🏿I was ripped off and played but its ok..They wont have any Good Luck... heres the evidence in the picture. Will never recommend, should have walked out on the 1st Red Flag...

Ive heard of Bruce Bart being one of the best tattoo shops in South florida by so many people for many years. So I decided to go see for myself. I had the best tattoo experience there ever! All the employees are extremely friendly, its like we have been friends forever. I started looking thru the portfolios and decided to go with Sean. He knew exactly what I wanted so he did a beautiful piece on my leg, I loved it so much that I decided I want a leg sleeve. I already scheduled time next week with him to get more work done.I came on to yelp and couldnt believe there are bad reviews about this place?! The artists in the shop are all amazing and very experienced! I would recommend anyone who wants a tattoo to come to Bruce Bart!!! I will never go any place else. Best tattoo shop in South Florida-hands down!!!

I was here on Sunday, 8/13/17. I got my belly button pierced and did not have that great of an experience. The piercer messed up the first time and then had to repierce it. After everything was done, I paid him and even tipped him $10 which I didnt think was necessary at all. Before leaving, I expected him to explain the aftercare process to me. He did not. I had to ask him myself...

Eric is the best! He was great to talk to, and he was incredibly helpful. He tattooed a sea turtle on my ribs and it looks wonderful. Im in love with it. Thanks, Eric!!! :)

Owner, Damion is very rude, Has fits of rage and flies off the handel for no reason. He yells at his staff and anyone thats not his own private customer, that he brings in with him. Other artist are good and pleasant. Shop is clean.

Like everyone, I was nervous getting my first tattoo and happen to be walking by Bruce Bart at the Ft Lauderdale shop and decide to just see what one might look like. Well that was about 5 years ago and since then I have added 3 more. I have had nothing but great experiences there and Josh, my tattoo guy, is an amazing artist Not only does he take the time to listen to you but he really gets a feel for what youre looking for and want. He is meticulous about his work and is such a devoted professional that it shows on your final piece. Since then i have sent many of my friends to him and they all have come back with great things to say about Josh.Josh thanks again for the great work and making, what could be a real unpleasant experience, a very good one. I went in to discuss a tattoo. Owner was picking his nose the whole time we were. Talking. Then, he ate a bugger. I guess they dont have time for lunch. No thanks.

My husband & I wanted matching tattoos. We had to get them done seperate days & times. I got mine first. It took Jon 2 hours to get set up. At the end, he talked me out of getting mine finished! Not even, its late, lets finish some other time. Straight up told me not to get the white filled in. The next week my husband tried to call to confirm his appt but couldnt get ahold of him so he went in anyways. Jon ended up canceling. He emailed him the pic so he could have it drawn up for the next week. When he went back, it still took him 2 hours to get everything set up & he hadnt drawn it, even though hed had a week. He wasnt able to get it finished because set up took so long. Two weekends in a row my husband had tried to get ahold of him to finish it with no response. The (unfinished) work is good. Definitely not complaining about that, but he seems very unprofessional. We will be going somewhere else to get them finished. Very disappointed because the tats themselves are very good. But for $150/hr, it should be.

SCAM!!!... wanted a tattoo. So I put the deposit down for the sketch. the guy told me it would be a couple of days, never got a call. waited for for a week and a half then went in to see what the deal was. the guy told me he was so busy he didnt have time to get to my drawing yet, so I said not a problem Ill take my money back and leave and dont worry about my art work Ill go somewhere else. wouldnt give me my money back. total scamer..I can understand if he had done the sketch, thats the point of a deposit. if theres no work done then I want my money. basically gave them 50 bucks for absolutely nothing back.....be ware!! SCAM

Firat off if i could give less than one star i would me and my family walked in to get tattoos we were ignored then when the lady at the front called to the tattoo artist his response was WHAT and he didnt come to greet us so a couple of other customer came in (they were Caucasian btw) they were greeted VERY Differntly after they left we sat in the lobby for 5mins ALONE then the woman at the front gathered her things told us sorry and walked outthis is the worst ever maybe if our skin color was different we would have been treated differentI DONT ADVISE YOU WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE
