Dixie Clamp use to be a good company, my last experience was very bad. I will never use them again. I will drive two days away to rent something before I ever rent anything from them again. They got order wrong and just charged away. Way WAY over priced.Be careful !!!!

I WONT DO BUSINESS HERE ANY MORE! He thought he put me on hold....but didnt... He then called me a dumbass to others for asking question I asked...They all laughed...He then rattled of prices I asked for as fast as he could, as if I was bothering him, then pretty much hung up on me.Rude & disrespectful, they act like you should already know the answer to what your asking.They must have enough big contracts that they dont have to be bothered by someone just asking a question or wanting only a few items.The message I got from this and multiple other interactions is that you better spend big money or your not worth their time. So, in my opinion...NOT THE PLACE TO GO FOR ANY THING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rented frame scaffold from them. The 3 planks that were delivered all were broken with cracks in them where it would throw employee off scaffold when stepping on. Railings had to be brought back and exchanged due to broken or missing pieces. Scaffold was extremely unsafe, was not worth the discount will not be using them again.

Horrible customer service in the sales department. I called to inquire on a price. He gave it to me in lbs and I asked how much it would be for just 180 LF of it. He just said, Oh, I dont know, just hold on Im working with someone else right now (probably someone with a bigger order) and then hung up on me. Never bothered to call me back.Unless you have a large order, they will treat you like crap. All you are is a number to them so unless youre a big number, you dont matter much. Moving on to McKinsey Steel from now on.

Scumbags!Ok. Its extremely used building materials; for the particular project Im working on, what they sell is great, but to most people what they sell probably belongs in a dumpster, including the indoor employees.the guys outside that actually do all the work are great and very helpful, even in the pouring rain, but the filthy fart-smoking rednecks that rip you off inside are like used car salesmen.first off, when i asked if they have 4 x 6 x 10 beams, they told me to go outside and look for myself. I did. for this particular project I needed beaten and worn out wood, and I was told they were 19 dollars each, then the jerk inside told me if I wanted those paticular (smaller) beams i chose, that i would have to pay 70 dollars each, even though they were in the piles of $19 beamss, and his fellow fart smokers giggled teasing a customer who was coughing at the time saying he must have AIDS.needless to say I had to go back out in the rain and pick out four different beams as they sat in their air conditioned office, not even considering making me a deal due to THEIR mistake.Complete scumbags!
