Great local carpentry shop right next to the Robovault. My wife and I had a butcher block walnut table made for our patio and the guys did a great job. Im a detail person and the craftsmanship was first rate. Carpenter Jed even stayed well past closing to finish the job for me on a Sat. I didnt even know the shop had closed - just kept on sanding and fielding my questions! You dont find that kind of work ethic very often and I must say that I was so impressed with the men. Hands down one of the best lumber shops around. They have a great selection in stock and if youre buying bulk I recommend calling 1 day ahead and theyll have it waiting for you when you come in! The staff is super friend and helpful when it comes to cutting and loading. Last but not least they have incredible prices! What more could you ask for?

These guys know what costumer service means. I dropped by to have furniture customized as even though the deal mainly with boats it was the only place open in town with the COVID. The day after the wood was carved to perfection.We need more guys with passion as these two are here in Fort Lauderdale!

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. These guys are hands down the best Ive dealt with in purchasing material for my projects that Ive ever needed. Jed and Daniel are absolute work horses who make the customer the absolute priority. I came across these guys when my normal vendor could not satisfy my order for 10ft 5/4 walnut boards because they were out of stock and I needed last minute. Daniel even placed the wrong size order by accident(possibly even my fault on the communication side) but he owned it and made sure the right material was there the same day he told me it would be there just later on in the day which I told him was no issue. The walnut order was placed on a Friday and was in by Monday! The manager Jed still hopped in to make sure everything went smooth and I assured him as well that my satisfactory had been met. They even mill lumber for you or offer their machinery if you need! I pass 4-5 lumber yards on the way to these guys but still would rather drive 40 min to work with them. Absolutely amazing. I dont normally write reviews but these guys came through big time for me in the short amount of time I had which allowed me to make money quicker. Daniel and Jed keep up the outstanding work. I cant wait to continue to work with you both.

Very friendly environment. I’mnew to wood working and don’t know all the types of woods what works best. They are more then happy to answer questions and are very knowledgeable. If you are looking for quality and selections this the place. Better prices then big box stores and better service.

I buy all my teak hardwood here. Great shop, nice guys who really know their hardwoods, and they only do marine. Depot really doesnt work for most of the work I do because most of my clients are pretty particular about their lumber and are willing to pay for quality. Definitely could spend an hour or two just talking shop here...great guys, friendly, lots of high end exotic species and a ton of marine teak.UPDATE: Have been a loyal customer for almost 5 years now! Consistency - in this town, what more can you say! Great shop.

Most unprofessional experience I have had at a retail store. The two guys working there are completely unprofessional. After I picked out a couple hundred dollars in wood. I asked the little skinny guy if he could cut a piece of it. He said he was busy doing other things. I said Man cant you just fire up the table saw and cut it real quick? Well I guess that hurt his feelings as he went into an entire rage about telling him what to do at his shop and said he would now not sell me the wood. Guess they don’t need the business. All I did was ask if he could cut it as the saw was right there and I only needed one cut on a 3ft piece of wood. The guy/kid acted like he was 10 years old. Next thing you know his buddy chimes in. Anyways I would never do business with this company again. Plenty of other places to get wood. I did find World Penal Products in Palm Beach. The guys up there were happy to cut the wood I needed and they have a MUCH larger selection of wood. Wood Chip Lumber did not work for me. If you use them youve been warned.

After a long search for Baltic Birch. I found at this shop. Extremely professional and knowledgeable staff. They were eager share they knowledge of the business. The other gentleman gave a bad review probably just had a bad attitude. These guys are Awesome!

Absolutely great! They have Okoume wood which isnt easy to come by, and to top it off they had a leftover piece, gave it to me and cut it at no cost. I only needed a small piece anyway. They were also very helpful and I would definitely go back in the future! :)

I went here a few weeks ago to buy some lomber form a hardwood dealer for the first time. The guys working here are very friendly and are very knowledgeable. They helped me out with lomber selection and cut type. If you stop by, bring your dog pictures, youll make some new friends.
