Got in a car accident on a Monday that totaled my car, so I needed to find a new one pretty quick. Recently bought a Kia and could not be happier. Mitchell was our salesman who understood exactly what we needed. Everything was very smooth from my first contact with Maria when I called to see if they had a vehicle I was interested in to my time with Gabe the sales person who assisted me when I came into the dealership and then finished up with Alex in finance. I was short 4 weeks without my car. I did advise them that I rarely use my car and to hold it until they get the part but I did not expect for it to take almost 4 weeks. Ryan kept using Covid-19 as an excuse for the part not getting there. My issue was the lack of communication and what should have been expressed to me is that I should have picked up my vehicle before the part gets to the dealership. There was an issue with communication between the service department and the customer. Also, the part that I was waiting for was for the steering column to a new 2021 Kia K5; I wouldn’t have felt SAFE picking up the car with that issue even if they said I can pick it up.I also requested my car to be appraised to sell or trade back to the dealership and again, no communication.The service department did offer me a detail to my vehicle which I did request; it is the least they could have done. The detail was poorly done (I could have done a better job.)I have purchased one car and leased 2 with Gunther; this will be the last time I will ever purchase or service anything with Gunther. He explained us in detail every aspect of a used car vs a new one so we could make a wise decision (since they offer both options) and in fact, I truly believe we took the right one. My first experience at Gunther wasnt horrible at all just annoying. I didnt have a appointment set up because I was only having a oil change done. I was in an out within 2 hours, that was no problem.My issue was the Auto Service salesman I had, he was professional and polite. But it seemed liked he was begging me to have 2 new tires and have a 3rd one done 4-5 months down the road. I was reminded it from him 10-15 times. I also didnt get the free car wash they mentioned that would be done.

Made multiple attempts to contact the maintenance department and never received a call back after leaving voice mails. Two hours for a scheduled oil change is unacceptable. According to service advisor, Kia has also been selling and leasing vehicles with a known navigation system problem and did not have a fix for my Kia K5. Never leasing another Kia.

Excellent experience. The salesman, Issac Smith, was very responsive to my requests and I did not feel pressured. I was able to explore both pre-owned and new models. The approval process was quick and between the multiple test drives and closing was a pleasant process.

Please Note this text was yesterday from a Kia representative 9/21/2021 - car has been there @ Kia waiting to have my engine replaced for seven weeks!!! Kia’s Engines have been dying on fairly new cars often since 2016. Kia refused to replace my engine - according to them the warranty expired November/2020. Because there has been a recall on my engine there was an extended warranty that my car Did Not qualify for because and only because I did not take the car in for a reset when supposedly I should have received a letter last year.Note that my Kia has only 54000 miles on it And I have all the receipts from all my timely oil changes etc. (I personally took the car in to Kia several times last year for a battery and a noice - Kia never said anything about a recall)After a lot of back and forth I was finally told by Kia to go pick up the car today 9/22 at 9:30 am. I was there at 10:00 AM today, and they/Kia told me they could not give me my car because my insurance company had not made a payment yet. I have via text that all this was taken cared of yesterday 9/21. To make a long story short I (The Customer) had to coordinate the payment transaction between Kia and my insurance company. My insurance company hours are 7:30 AM - 9:00 PM Eastern time. They had plenty time to do their job.Seven weeks my car in their shop (waiting for the engine) never a phone call to follow up - my calls and text were often ignored. Please Never buy a Kia or you will regret it. Their staff receive Zero training on Customer Satisfaction and evidently get Little Support and are overworked. My head is throbbing.Based on my experience I anticipated this would happened therefore I left 2 managers a voicemail requesting a call back - I’m still waiting for a returned call.

Overall pleasant experience buying my new Kia this week. I felt like my time and money were respected by both Isaac (the dealer) and Jake (the manager). We arrived at a deal fairly quickly and even with short staff, my trade-in and new car sale was processed within two hours. Make sure to find Isaac for the buying part and ask for Jose when you go to close. Both are exceptionally good at making what’s usually an awful process a more-than-bearable one.

Good dealership, good facility and waiting areas. We love the Kia brand and the warranty that they come with. This will be the second time purchasing a vehicle here at Gunther and would definitely come back again. Salesperson was not pushy and did his best to explain things out. The only thing that was explained very well initially was the CPO warranty (10 yr 100k mile power train) and whether or not it came with the price of the car. We thought it did but later found out there was a premium to pay if we wanted it. In the end it all worked out and sales, finance and manager helped us feel like we got a good deal. Appreciate it!

Been leasing with Kia for 12 years. This was my 3rd time working with Gunther Kia and defiantly the best experience yet! David and Vinny took great care of me and my husband and got us a great Kia Soul!

Gunther Kia is great. Saturdays though is pretty busy next time I will consider going on the day of the week. I was also a little disappointed that Kia doesn’t offer another vehicle to go home while we wait but I guess inventory is low but either way they are good. Another thing I wish is that they would do better with is communicating. I booked my appointment for tire rotation and oil. And after the oil change I was asked again if I want to rotate my tires two hours later! Which I had requested before coming in.

Pedro Reyes was super helpful with helping me find the right car for my budget and he went above and beyond to help us get a great deal! We will definitely be recommending him to friends and family!

If you’re getting a car at Gunther, ask for Brian Lagos (and tell him I sent you). He spared me of the typical and cliché salesroom experience. We got a test drive going quickly and got a fair deal worked out in under an hour. This was my second time working with a Gunther dealership and it won’t be my last.
