PST computers is AWFUL, and my experience with them has been extremely unpleasant. I am appalled by the poor customer service and visible damage done to my laptop. A week ago, Apple referred me to PST computers for keyboard issues. Trusting in their recommendation, I brought my laptop to PST. Ervin told me that to qualify for a recall; my computer would have to show signs of something wrong in a diagnosis. Knowing that without a doubt, my laptop had serious keyboard issues, I agreed to bring my computer in once again. Later that day, he told me that my computer did not show any problems and therefore he couldnt do the recall for free. He asked if I wanted more work done on it, and imformed me that I would be charged $95 per hour of work. I told him that I did not want to do that and that I will pick up the computer later in the day. After we hung up, I called Apple. I asked Apple if my laptop had to show signs of something not right in a diagnosis to have the recall done on my laptop. The apple customer support person told me it did not since my computer already qualified for the recall. I had a strong feeling that I was being scammed for more money from PST computers, so I made an appointment with Apple and told PST that I was going to pick up my laptop because I had an appointment with Apple, they agreed. Two minutes later, Ervin called back and miraculously said I could get the recall done on my computer for free. Although I was sketched out, I knew they could get the work done faster than Apple would, and after all, they are an Authorized Apple Support Provider. Fast forward to me picking up the computer after getting the top case replaced. A man named Cooley, whom I had never seen before, brought my computer to me. When I opened the computer, a once unnoticeable crack had turned into an inch long, and a half of an inch wide gap in my computer. A whole piece of the screen was missing. I told the man that the computer was damaged and not returned in the condition it was given. He was more than ready to argue his case as he would not even let me speak, and he began to yell over me. So I yelled back and told him that I wanted to talk to a manager or supervisor. He left, and the supervisor came out and said that there was nothing they could do, and I left. Apple is now investigating the situation. If I were Apple, I would cut them immediately from their apple service providers. The horrific customer service and atrocious damage done to my relatively new computer is extremely disappointing. I gave my full trust into PST and what I got in return was careless work that led to a damaged screen. Pictures and videos do not lie.Update: Apple is replacing my screen. :) no thanks to these dummies...

I was nervous reading reviews online but I called prior to visiting and their pricing/system seemed reasonable. I brought my MacBook Pro in with a loose hinge, I thought the worst. I waited 20 mins and they fixed it, FOR FREE! How lovely. This made my day, I will only be coming here from now on. Thank you SO much🙏🏼

The service provided here is amazing! My Macbook hasnt been working for months. I was originally quoted $700 from other establishments and Best Buys geek squad refused to work on my computer. I worked with Joy and Andrea(I believe her name is) and they were awesome! They were so nice and professional and was able to fix my computer in less than an hour! I would definitely recommend! 10/10, thank you guys again for all of your help!
Been there twice, once to repair my MacBook keyboard and once to replace the screen entirely. On both occasions the service was very fast and the Macbook was returned like NEW!! Highly recommend them to anyone in the area. :)

Absolutely great service.... MacBook Pro screen and battery died. Joy helped me to find a way to get the repairs done at a lower rate than anticipated and got it fixed 6!!! days sooner than expected. They could have easily charged me more but Joy made sure I got the best rate.Dont hope Ill ever have to go back again but if I need to. PST Computers and Joy in particular will be first of choice.Great company, great service
Excellent customer service and communications. I scheduled an appointment (earliest was 1 week) and Cooley came to my car and took my Mac in to run free diagnostic. My vintage Mac needs a new battery so not sure whether I replace or buy new device but highly recommend this service center. Only certified Apple service center in my area since Apple stores are closed due to COVID.
Excellent Customer Service & Support - I brought in my Apple MacBook that had a severely swollen battery. The staff took a good look at it and replaced the battery. The repair was timely and the follow-up was fantastic. We encountered a small snag, but Joy (the technician) quickly took care of it. Her positive attitude and responsiveness to the problem was greatly appreciated. I definitely would recommend PST Computers to my friends and coworkers. Thanks!
Avoid this company, extremely difficult to work with. I wish I bought a new computer versus all the time, energy and money wasted working with them. Very unprofessional, took my device and billed me about $300 for work I was never forewarned about or quoted for approval. Continuously lied about when the work would be done, put me out of of work for days without my device. Employees would quit/leave, none of the work would be recorded. Employees would be out sick leaving no notes of what was done on my computer. Horrible service.
Apple store sent me there, and it was a good experience, reliable, patient and fixed the problem i had, good price too.

I was referred to this company by Apple. I brought my MacBook Pro in for issues that I’m having with it. They charged me $95 which was fine at the time. I was told that I would receive the laptop the next day. They called me and told me there were more issues than they thought. When I asked what was the problem, they hadn’t even ran a diagnosis on it yet. I spoke to Joy and when I asked her what the problem was she could not even tell me what the problem was. The only thing she said was that they would order some parts that might fix the issue. They were going to try to use those parts on the laptop and see if it would work and if not they would return the parts. I decided to pick up my laptop a week later and when I came in to get it they told me they hadn’t even touched it yet. Which meant that a whole week I was being fed lies. Customer service was terrible. The only bright side is that Davis (someone I spoke to the first day) was very nice and professional. Then Joy took over. She was very rude, held my laptop for a week after I was told it would only take one day and after I explained to her that I needed it for my daughters home school. When I called asking for it, she told me that they hadn’t ordered the parts. So in the end I had a horrible experience with this company and decided to just take my laptop somewhere else. I was charged $95 for no service. My laptop basically just sat in their shop for a week.

Since all the Apple stores are closed, we were referred here by Apple Support to get a battery replacement for my MacBook Air, and we made an appointment online. We were greeted by the most unpleasant and rude woman we have encountered in a long time. She treated us so condescendingly and impatiently, as if we were a nuisance to her and were stealing her precious time, even though we spoke to her calmly and respectfully. Whenever we politely asked any questions, she gave us rude and insufficient answers. After she gave us the quote, she told us we had to leave my laptop there and it would take 10-14 days to get the battery replaced (which takes literally 5 minutes). We decided not to use this service and found an excellent alternative instead.We are still wondering why this company even takes appointments if they treat their customers with such annoyance and contempt. We dont recommend this service to anyone! There are great alternatives in the area that will take care of your issues politely and quickly.
Joy spoke to me as if she was a substitute teacher and then took 8 days to diagnose the problem only to tell me shes shipping it off for repairs. 2 other gentlemen were nice. If you go here DO NOT let Joy touch your property.
Bought my computer to be fixed on a Thursday for a screen replacement and got it back on that next Wednesday.. didn’t take long for them to fix it up .. Although it was pricey to fix the screen (585.00) it was worth having my Mac back to normal !!! Didn’t have an issue with the customer service since it’s COVID times they make you wait in your car and tell you everything at your car.

After a certain “squad” told me my two-year-old laptop was too old to repair, these guys fixed it in less than a week. Fast, professional, and friendly service. Will absolutely use them again if needed.

These guys are great! Knowledgeable, efficient, reasonably priced and so helpful. My Macbook had a full glass of water dumped on it during a critical work period and they were able to completely bring it back to life without loosing any files. I will always try them first!
This is undoubtedly the best place for any computer repairs in South Florida. Joy is a delight and will always take extra time to explain various option/solutions to your computer problem. I am a Production Designer and I always need my Macs to be at full speed, Joy ensures that this is always the case.I do agree that the sign is easy to miss, please put up a big bold new sign!!
Had a Genius appt on 12/13 due to minor water incident three weeks prior . Drove in from out of town to get my Mac fixed for a yacht party I was scheduled to dj for . Over the phone everyone was very nice . In person the lady tech was very rude . She told me that my Mac book wouldn’t turn on and I should just buy a new one . I took it to the Apple Store and it was repaired in two days at no cost . Get great customer service from Apple, these people don’t deserve your money .
I run an e-commerce business. Late Wednesday night my new Mac crashed, was not able to boot. Called Apple, needed to wait 6 days to get in! I took my computer to PST. Joy and Tim took care of me. I picked up my computer this AM, and it is running better than ever. PST is a 1st Class operation, I am so happy that I found them. I strongly recommend their services, These guys are true professionals, and they know computers. They got me hooked up with an awesome external hard drive, and I dropped off my old FRIED Mac so they can breath new life into it. Totally awesome experience, I am very happy with the service I got, extremely positive outcomes, and promptness.
I have been working with PST since the 1990s. Hands down the best MAC people I know. I am still using my laptop that was drowned in milk 5 years ago that all others said could not be fixed! They are honest, fair with cost and extremely helpful with offering advice. Thank you PST!!
I have used their services many times over the years. They have ALWAYS fixed the issues and some were very difficult. Will always go to them no matter how difficult the problem is.
I knew this place were there since more than 18 years ago but never come in. This time, for the first time for iPhone battery replacement (made an appointment TODAY via Apple.com. Much faster than any other shops including Apple Stores. Costed $30 because of the known issue). Seems to be an old-style but very good service provider. Customers were keeping coming with their Mac or iPhone or other Apple devices. Staff were nice and kind. They were explaining to the customers very well.
All I can say is how lucky I am to have found this gem of a place. You can clearly see the staff works as a team and with all of their knowledge and experience put together I think they blow the genius bar away. The part I loved the most was how honest they were with me. No promises but straight up front with pricing and what the outcome may be. Luckily they were able to fix my computer and keep it going! I am more than satisfied with the customer service and great work they displayed. I will be referring them to many. Thank you PST!
Their staff is immensely polite and professional. I did not expect this level of high-quality service and engaged conversation in South Florida to be honest !! They are so good at fixing the immediate problem but also knew about misc issues affecting my laptop, gave me so many options to choose from and were punctual in terms of returning the device. Would recommend. A+++++++
Fixing computers it’s not an easy thing and there’s many places out there that are sketchy. I was very surprised at the level of service and the price was almost 50% of what the Apple Store quoted me furthermore they only needed a few hours to fix the problem where as the Apple Store had a three day turnaround.

Hands down the best place to bring your Mac to get fixed, repaired, maintenance, tips etc. They handle everything for us from updating our office of 10 iMacs to configuring our Mac Mini server.Great customer service and quick turn around time. DO NOT GO HERE.. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE.. Charge 90 to diagnose. Said they would call after one hour to let me know the issue, if any. AFTER 24 hours, I called them, and they said that it would be 7-10 days before they would get to my Mac, as I only paid for standard service.. Standard, what the hell? I got NO SERVICE. RIP OFF RIP OFF.. very Sketchy to say the least. To do anything, its a minimum of 90 and they never once said it would be 7-10 days just to get a diagnosis.. totally BS outfit. STAY AWAY.. and YES, they say they are authorized APPLE repair.. Take to APPLE.. I took back my MAC this morniing and walked it in to APPLE, and after a couple hours, I GOT A DIAGNOSIS, and at NO CHARGE.. STICK with APPLE STORE
My new iPhone XR screens broke and I was trying to avoid the Apple store at all costs. PST computers did an excellent job and I will be moving all future iphone (or computer repairs) in with them. Joy and Ervin were especially helpful!

WARNING, PST IS A RIPOFF!!!We took my iPad to PST computers for repair. THEY CHARGED ME $90.00 IN ADVANCE. They had it 2 days, and we paid EXTRA because PST said it needed an LCD display. The day after we picked it up it was not working, AGAIN.I phoned PST and spoke to Roy (VERY RUDE). He told me he was IRVIN. We recorded that call.It took us over a week to get the owner Patrick Guertin on the phone. He would not listen to my complaint nor would he listen to the recorded call with his employee and I.WARNING, PST IS A RIPOFF!!!

Dropped off a computer for diagnostics, it has been 6 weeks and several phone calls with no progress.Customer service is non-existent here. They have a good reputation for service, but somehow I missed it.
I had the iTunes Logo and power cord displayed on my iPhone 5S. It would not do anything. I read on the internet that most likely I would lose everything on my phone. They gave me a new operating system and saved everything.....at NO CHARGE!!

PST will be our new go to for any computer repair. They replaced a faulty graphic card ( including shipment of part) and increased RAM in less than 24 hours. Great place.
The staff was really helpful and quick to get to the problem, and they call you whenever theres an update in the status of the repair. You just have to pay attention if youre driving there because the entrance to the parking lot is easy to miss, and the sign is not that big.

Thank you PST COMPUTERS Inc. in Fort Lauderdale! My iphone kept shutting off because the phone battery wasD-E-A-D! I brought my phone in Friday (extremely important in my day to day work life) unfortunately they were not able to replace the phone battery. Sooo..... they walked me through purchasing a cheap $30 phone, removed my sim card for the weekend, shipped off my iphone (with cracked screen) and TODAY I picked up my brand new phone. NO CHARGE AT ALL to me! I had backed up everything to Itunes so now I have a NEW phone with all my contacts, etc. in place. Such a great experience working with Anthony and others at PST Computers. I cant say enough about them!
These people deceived me and are straight liars. I went to get my screen fixed, the lady in the front Joy told me it would be $180 to fix it on rush order.. I specifically asked her if it would cost more money after that to fix it and her response was only if it requires additional work..The next day she calls me and tells me that they can fix the computer its just going to cost an additional $300..When i called her out, she said that was just to look at the computer and to run a testI went there to pick up my mac and they refused to give it to me without having me sign a waiver that protects them.. Joy called the owner he came out and was extremely confrontational, yelling at me in an aggressive manner.. These people are extremely deceiving and will trick you into spending more money with them little by little.. I learned my lesson the hard way.. NEVER TAKE YOUR COMPUTERS TO THIS STORE.. YOU WILL REGRET IT.

They dont even deserve 1 star...worst customer service...this place is a ripoff from the moment you park (I think soon they are going to start charging for parking)...they charge you $90 for just “diagnosing” what is wrong with yourcomputer and if you need your computer urgently they charge you $180....and BE CAREFUL... if you paid cash and you want yourMoney back, they dont carry $90 cash and they would only give you a check! ARE YOU KIDDING ME???? They have so many hiding fees, they are ridiculously expensive ....I GUESS because of the 20 years of experience they “have” ... DONT COME.. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!BEST ADVICE: make an appointment with apple directly, you will be saving $100-$300, I am not kidding, I came to apple and they charge me a TOTALLY different amount (I was in shock) plus the computer will be ready in 5 days, at pst my waiting time was 2-3 weeks because I didn’t paid the $180. So before you come to this place think about it really good, it’s worth your TIME and money? Apple doesn’t charge you for diagnosing what’s wrong with your computer...so like I said, you have been warned!!
Went here with my iphone to change the battery to avoid the lines at the Apple store and to support a local small business. First, my appointment wasnt an appointment because they dont actually carry iPhone batteries. It was a trip over to pay to order a battery. Fine. I get a call when the battery comes in. Great! Ill be there as soon as I can, which was in about three days because I have a job and they close at 5PM. They told me to be sure Im there by 4 so theres enough time to swap out the battery. Again, no problem. I get no less than 3 calls asking me when Im coming. I WORK. You close at 5. I need a few days to arrange an hour to get there.So I get there at 8, with exactly 2 hours to go in, do the swap, and get back to work. The guy at the desk tells me, This will take about 3 hours. I say, Three hours? What are you talking about? They told me one hour over the phone and you told me 2 hours when I paid for the battery! The guy got snarky and said, Our techs arent even here yet. Not everyone can afford to live in Downtown Fort Lauderdale. Lord Jesus, I had to argue my goddamn income with this man and teach him that if you have 3 techs working, there is no reason at least ONE of them shouldnt be there when the store opens. So about 15m into it, a tech comes in. He says, Oh, this is easy. This will take 20 minutes. I went and had some breakfast, came back, and it was ready.This was 2 weeks ago. Less than a week later, my phone started turning off for no reason. Today it overheated to the point that the battery drained in 10 minutes and I couldnt even touch it. I called Apple and they basically said my choice is to pay out of pocket for them or Best Buy to start all over again or I could take it back to the place that messed up and let them mail it out and hope it doesnt take a week for me to get my only means of communication back.If I could rate this place -10, I would.Oh, also, I asked how much it would be to troubleshoot my iPod from 2004... I bought a battery for it and I think I installed it wrong. I just wanted them to make sure the connection was okay. Yeah, $90 just to look at it. At an ipod. From 2004. That sells for around $20 on ebay.Seriously, screw this place.
These guys did in 5 minutes what every senior Apple tech couldn’t accomplish in 6 hours.FileVault destroyed my data and made my harddrive unmountable, inaccessible, and unable to format it.There was nothing Apple could do for me. I had a $2000 paperweight.Erving and Joy took great care of my computer and provided answers to every one of my extremely technical questions. They fixed it in approximately one hour and went above and beyond what they were paid to do to ensure my SSD was functioning perfectly and would not fail me again anytime soon.They have gained a lifelong customer and Apple has lost a patron of the Apple Store because the level of service here is 1000x what I usually see at the Genius Bar.
I cant believe apple actually recommends this place.. I will be contacting them..These people are a complete ripoff, do not take your computers here..Ubreak IFix is a much better option..

Awful experience. I came to y this place while still under apple care because they were apple authorized. that was my first BIG mistake. I thought they could take care of me. i worked with joy, she did not call back. she took my money and claimed she was cleaning my computer from a liquid spill. She had my computer for close to 2 months and wanted more money to look at it faster. She said there were several things wrong, none of which would be covered by apple care according to her. I picked up my computer after paying her $225 for literally nothing. I took it to apple and they fixed everything for me and $547 that she wanted charge me was completely free. These people are the worlds worst. RUN while you can. They tell you things over the phone and half the time they are all mixed up about whos computer they are actually even looking at. Any positive reviews are completely misleading. I work very hard for my money and these people are criminal.
