Very good food. Never had Peruvian food before but it was so delicious. Full of flavor, the owner was super nice and welcoming. Nice atmosphere. My only complaint is I had to wait a while to get a refill on my water a day I had to get the waitress attention. I will go back

This place deserve some stars.It took a little while for our food to come up but they were good. Even simple kids pasta with chicken was delicious. My kids finished their food without any push.I had the fried pork sandwich, amazing flavor. If there were a small salsa or something on the side to bring in some moisture, it would be perfect.

A good friend of mine took me here and Im in love!! Some of the best Peruvian food Ive had here in Florida and the Chicharron sandwich was phenomenal. 10/10 will definitely be coming back! Also Pepe was our amazing waiter! Hell take care of ya!!

Peruvian Paradise - a hidden gem. I enjoyed their $12 lunch special that included exquisite ceviche made with Mahi Mahi (rare treat over shrimp) and a chicken dish made with fresh vegetables and red quinoa.

This place is unbelievable!! Amazing taste, good prices, and the plates are big enough if you are really hungry. Likewise. The music and environment is comfortable. 100% recommended. The plate that I try was the Mahi Mahi with a special sauce of the house. The chef recommended.

First, one of the things I like best is when the owner takes personal pride in the place and this is one of those places. Husband in front, wife cooking thats the way to do it.We had an chicken enchalalota and the pork sandwich, both were great as well as reasonable in price. We had a couple of desserts and they were great.

We chose to dine here because my incredibly picky boyfriend saw they had chocolate mousse. We were delighted that we found such a delicious family run restaurant. The steak tenderloin with Peruvian beans was tender and mouthwatering with the red onion salsa. The pesto risotto was also perfect, and much to the liking of my boyfriend. We had to save room for dessert. They had a selection of Peruvian fruit pies, mousse and cheesecakes along with the chocolate mousse (which is rich and delightful).

The tables are ridiculously small. I dont like that we asked for a bigger table and one of the waiters told us no, in case a bigger party comes in theres barely space to move at the table, they are so small.Other than that, the food is phenomenal. Everything was fresh.Servers could be a little more attentive (as far as refills and things like that)

My family and I tried this place out for the first time. My mom is a top notch Peruvian cook, so when I went to this restaurant, I expected a little more. The food was good, but Ive had better from other Peruvian restaurants. The pesto spaghetti (Tallarin Verde) was too salty. Also, it had too much sauce and not enough spaghetti. The tables are a little too small for a family of four. And the chairs arent sturdy. I gave it a three because they were attentive and have variety of dishes and it looks really clean. The place does look nice and clean which I love.

Excellent meal. I had a chicken sandwich and my aunt had the salad. To drink she had the house blend tea and I had an artisan cucumber soda. For dessert we had soursop custard. Everything was delicious and beautifully prepared. Service was good. The place is clean and aesthetically pleasing. The music was a bit loud; I asked to lower it and they did. Great experience here. I recommend it.

Great tasting food. Service was quick. They had a new electronic on-line register that they were experimenting with. It slowed payment down and we had to wait an extended time to pay our bill.

Flavors arent authentic. Prices are higher than other restaurants with better flavors. They give you ONE super small napkin (really?).

Not sure whether due to poor management scheduling or lack of skill. I dont hold either against this establishment. But to our server: If you dont want to be kind to people while waiting on them - GTFO OUT THE SERVICE INDUSTRY. I wish I could use his name, unfortunately he never mentioned it. Never a smile. Or a kind greeting. When approaching us to order, he only walked up to us and stared with a scowl. Didnt even verbally speak to us at all. I dont think I Ill ever return (no matter how great the food was) just because of the service. Its like his presence was a constant insult. Sorry.

The peruvian food in this newest restaurant in Davie is the best thing I have tasted in south florida by a mile. Its not only authentic but the quality, finesse and flavors shine through in each dish they offer. Also desserts are all homemade and delicious.

What happened here? Weve been here once and loved it. We came today and waited 40 minutes for our order. When the food came two of dishes were too salty, the lomo was chewy not tender and the presentation was better last time. The waiter said he would get our check..... 10 minutes later were still waiting for it. When I asked him about it he said that he called the manager and had to wait until he got there to override the dishes from the check. Wed waited long enough, I asked him to enter in a new order without the items. Well never go back again.

Ive eaten here a lot before and it wasnt until last time that I order two lomo saltados and they gave me maybe like 5 pieces of meat, the rice was terrible and hard as if it had been made 2 days prior, and the french fries were very soggy and tasted stale. I took the order to go and can honestly say that I will no longer be spending my money here because that was the biggest waste of money ever.

The worst service ever!!! My husband & I waited over an hour for our food. Even worse, we never got drink refills & the food was so salty. We asked for the check twice, and waited around for about 15 mins until we got it. The food was average, and certainly expensive. STAY AWAY!!!

Working my way through the entire menu and have yet to be disappointed. Every appetizer, every Entrée is skillfully prepared. I get the sense that you can close your eyes and just point to the menu and be delightfully surprised.

Disappointed!! I had high expectations from reviews!!!We were excited to come and eat here but my wife and I did not enjoy the food at all. The huancaina pasta tasted like macaroni and cheese and the fried fish had no flavor. Completely tasteless. My wifes leche de trige wasnt what was expected. Dont think we would come back. I really wanted it to be good since there isnt really that many good Peruvian restaurant to choose from in the area.

After reading all the rave reviews about J72, I was really looking forward to a memorable dining experience. Unfortunately, that never materialized. As we were being escorted to our table and before we were seated, the waitress was asking for our drink orders. My wife asked for a glass a wine and I requested a water, twenty minutes later neither had arrived. Likewise the family sitting next to us had requested their check and then watched as the lone waitress hopped from table to table seemingly in a world of her own. We also watched as our waitress attempted to take the dinner order from a party of 8 that had been seated after us;however the last straw was watching the Chef seeing what was happening in the dining room and doing nothing to satisfy his guests. As the saying goes you never get a second chance to make a first impression.

Food was an amazing surprise, DELICIOUS, the attention from Mr. Pepe was excellent. We are definitely coming back.

Found out about this restaurant on Instagram...pictures of the different dishes definitely caught my attention. I had to try this place out...and I dont regret it. The food was amazing!!! Had the ceviche mercadito and piqueo criollo, felt like I was in Perú. Prices are reasonable for the portions and the quality of the food. Will definitely be going back!

I tried this place out for the first time yesterday September 30th. My daughter recommended me this restaurant, so when I went to this restaurant for lunch, I expected a little more. I ordered the Choritos a la Chalaca (too much sauce with few mussels for what I paid. Also, I ordered the fish chaufa and it was too salty. The crema volteada was good and the chicha morada as well. Ive had better from other Peruvian restaurants. I had spent about $ 51.99 including tip just for myself. The restaurant personnel were attentive and they have a variety of dishes. The place does look nice and clean.

Went there this past weekend with my mother and sisters. Great place and great atmosphere. Everyone is very attentive and welcoming. Enjoyed the ceviche, Leche de Tigre, and jalea. We ordered some cake to take home which everyone devoured before I had the chance to try it. We’re Peruvian so dont usually go out to eat food we can just make at home, but make an exception for great places like this one. Will definitely be going back when were in the area.

I came in here on a Thursday evening for some dinner with my sister. As soon as we walked in I couldnt help but notice how adorable the place was! Its such a calm environment with cute decoration and candles everywhere.We were greated by the owner, Joel, who was very welcoming and friendly. He talked to us about the menu and recommended a few things. We ordered the fish tacos and the grilled chicken pesto. The food was absolutely delicious and very fresh! The tacos were very tasty with a side of a spice sauce and guacamole. The grilled chicken pesto was very flavorful and seasoned very well.For drinks we ordered the cucumber pop and the lemongrass pop. It was very different and refreshing! For dessert we had a passionfruit flan with toasted hazelnut lattes that werr strong and delicious!I live very close to the area and found this place on. I am very pleased to have a great restaurant in the neighborhood. Their menu changes daily to provide only the freshest ingredients.If youre ever in the neighborhood this place is a must try! Great ambience, food, and service!!

I love Peruvian food!! I had the parmesan scallops (not on the shell) and small, but yummy. My entree was Seco de cordero with the delicious light beans (a little too runny) over rice and salsa criolla (marinated onion slices in vinegar, lemon and spices) so good!! For dessert l had the lucuma chocolate mouse! It was delicious!! Chairs could be improved (wobbly plastic) but all around l liked again! Will definitely go back.

I have been in this restaurant 5 times, trying diferent dishes & I enjoy the quality of most of them.My suggestion is to improve the slowservice, since almost every time there is only one waitress, therefore the good experience is ruined by the lenght of time you have to wait to be served.Hope tbis can help!
