I am a little surprised by the bad reviews. I never write reviews but felt I had to here. I have dealt with customer service a few times over the years and every time they have been polite and helpful. They would send me a new sensor or transmitter if they could not trouble shot what was wrong and I had it within a couple days. They were always easy to understand as well.
I have been using Dexcom since they came out with the G4; I am currently on the G6 and have found these sensors and transmitters to be pretty disappointing. A day doesnt go by without getting a couple of sensor error or loss signal messages. I am using the sensors correctly, I make sure the placement is adequate and I always clean the transmitter with alcohol before applying it to a new sensor. This is not working for me and its sooo frustrating!!! In addition, I find the readings to be way off at times. I believe what bothers me the most is the amount of time I wait on the phone to speak to a customer service representative, in fact, I am trying to reach them as I write this and I have been on hold for 28 minutes... This is a very expensive CGM and quite honestly, I am ready to move in a different direction!
Terrible customer service! Do not keep up and leave you without sensors for days sometimes weeks. Plus no one you talk to is in America...good luck understanding a word they say.
In all of their adds they fail to tell you that unless you are injecting insulinMedicare nor your insurance will cover it.
Crazy bad reviews??? I have to say, I have had some issues but never waited more than 5 min and have generally received supplies when needed. There have been some small gaps but I have a backup for those times I am without....and so should anyone else that is using a continuous monitor. People that comment that it is dangerous for a type1 not to have this should take some responsibility and make sure they have a backup. That is on them.
Worst customer service imaginable. No follow-up. If you place an order for supplies, be prepared for (i) lengthy delays, often with no order shipped often until your 2nd, 3rd or 4th call; (ii) broken promises regarding shipment dates, and (iii) totally non-responsive customer service. FYI … even the SUPERVISOR’S promise (my FOURTH call) to ship “by tomorrow” was broken. My order is still in processing after almost a month!! Long-standing backlog on inventory causes lengthy delays between order and shipment, but the company has done nothing to come up with a solution. A billion dollar company like Dexcom could increase manufacturing if it cared, but it obviously does not. It sells all it can make and has no competition. This is what happens when consumers have no real choice and is a perfect example of the ugly side of patent protection. Unless you have hypoglycemic insensitivity (like most potential Dexcom users) go with Libre instead of Dexcom!!
I thought that this was a good company in the beginning but I have to agree with the others on these reviews. Customer service sucks and the left hand doesnt know what the right one is doing. I am always holding over 20 minsane place a request for a callback but guess what? I never get called back
The worst customer service that I have ever experienced. First off, there is always a minimum 20 minute wait when you call. Then the reps cannot take a simple re order and process it correctly.. truly incompetent staff. I am switching to Libre.
Dealing with your company is like dealing with a 2 yr. old especially since you took on a third party in India and have not educated them on your product. They read off a paper and do not listen. Can NOT answer any questions. For the last yr. and a half every order took 5 wks to get to me. Are you aware why juvenile diabetics use a sensor??? You try to blame the insurance company and the Dr. But all along its your company. The worst part is I love my Tslim pump but sadly after 5 1/2 yrs I am going back to MedtronicJust so I do not need to deal with you. I would not recommend your product or your company to anyoneI have also informed my Dr. NOT to recommend it to any patients. He is with a very large well known hospital. Very sad for company.Probably will delete so your viewers will not see this. Sad you cant fix your problems.
TO ALL DIABETES TYPE-1 PATIENTS, STAY AWAY FROM DEXCOM, This $ 1 BILLION Dollar Company makes profit out your need, OFFERS A BAD PRODUCT, BAD SERVICE, DOES NOT GIVE A NY SUPPORT. and to avoid complaint,they send a FREE sensor, when order is late. BAD ETHICS.
Dexcom call center is the worst of the world.... I have been waiting for help for more than 3 weeks. Today Your people in the call center treated me like garbage....You guys didnt do your work,I had to call my insurance asking them why Dexcom got an approval for the sensors for the G6 and not for the Transmitters and i Found out that People of dexcom only sent the request for the sensors.... So The people of my insurance called Dexcom while i was on the phone (btw we waited for more than 50 mins to get someone on dexcom department) and they told to my insurance that i have to wait 3 more days because the request is only made by an special team, so i waited a week and today i called Dexcom and they didnt do nothing and my insurance still waiting for the request from dexcom....And the worst of this is that nobody care.... Nobody has contact me in any of they social media...
Was given a transmitter that failed to pair and give readings. I called Dexcom for a replacement and it took a week and a half to for them to process and send a working transmitter. Thats 10 days without being able to monitor blood sugar, which is scary for a type 1 diabetic. They didnt care.
THIS COMPANY IS BEYOND GARBAGE, BAD SERVICE,BAD PRODUCT,WE PAID FOR THE SENSORS AND THEY STOLE MY SICK DAUGHTERS MONEY, ALWAYS SHIP THE GOODS 2 OR 3 WEEKS LATER AFTER ORDER WAS PLACE, I WILL MAKE A COMPLAINT TO THE US FDA,ABOUT DEXCOM
They have bad customer service and the social media manager keeps deleting opinion of people about the bad service they have
BAD SERVICE+++++++++++++++++
