Im very, very happy with Undersea Sports, especially Matt and Hugh. Recently bought a new regulator from them after having several years of awesome service on my old one. Today they fixed my Bcd schroeder valve after failed service at another shop. This shop is my #1 for quality service and new gear.

Came down for a family vacation, went out on the black pearl for a morning of diving with Hugh as our diving instructor! He was so fun and excited to guide us. He brought a lot of energy and was so knowledgeable! We had so much fun seeing the different reefs and fish!Thank you!

Best dive shop in lower FL in my opinion. The price is unbeatable. You’d better rent gear here for a whole week which is still cheaper than any shop in Keys for 2 days. They are doing honest business and provide good suggestions to people.

This season, Ive been getting my scuba tanks filled at different shops all around Fort Lauderdale to see different shops. Todays fill was done at Underseas Sports. Its a small Shop with a nice selection. I arrived exactly at 6 p.m., closing time. The owner (Im assuming) was nice and didnt give any attitude for me arriving at closing.

I’ve been going to Undersea Sports for 20 years and Matt Stout and his staff are the best ever. Always willing to help fix any small problems I may have with my gear so I don’t need to buy a replacement as other shops would want to do. When I walk into Matt’s shop I always feel welcomed and part of the family.

I THOUGHT I LOST MY TENNIS BRACELET ON A DIVE CHARTER 3 YEARS AGO. TURNS OUT I LEFT IT AT UNDERSEAS SPORTS WHILE TRYING ON A WETSUIT I DIDN’T END UP PURCHASING. I WENT BACK ON SATURDAY TO REPLACE DIVE EQUIPMENT AND THEY REMEMBERED MY NAME WHEN CHECKING OUT AND ASKED IF I LEFT A TENNIS BRACELET BEHIND!!!!! CAN’T BELIEVE THEY STILL HAD IT.THANKS FOR YOUR HONESTY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! MUCH APPRECIATED!

Me and my brother rented gear here for the weekend and the workers were super nice. They gave us great gear at the best price we found in the area. Whenever I need to get gear I’ll definitely be coming back here

I have never had a business person ever talk to me the way Hue or as his caller ID says Black Swan. Not only that but when I reached out to Sage Dalton at SSI I received the same treatment!!! Stay clear this shop and SSI!!!!!

Great experience with this dive operator while in S. Florida for vacation. Had originally booked with another operator that I was referred to in order to complete dive training. Well that other operator cancelled my dive and left me scrambling to put something else together. Hugh at Underseas Sports to the rescue! On VERY short notice Hugh was able to pair me with an outstanding instructor, Brian, and arrange for my certification dives (1 lake, 1 sea). These guys are friendly, professional and I highly recommend working with them as I plan to do my next visit to Floria.

Born in florida and my family lived here for 20 years. We since moved to Colorado and were back for a death in the family. Rented 6 sets of snorkels, masks, and flippers. My parents bought my niece her own mask and snorkel. we were trying to have a little peace because this is a hard time for us. when returning the items we let the lady know that 3 of the snorkels had holes and didnt work and shouldnt be rented out. When we turned around some guy we had not met said, you need to rinse all this stuff off in the back. we said we had rinsed it off but trying to get anything home from the beach without sand is challenging. my sister said can we just call it even with half of our equipment not working. he replied dont worry we have your credit card number and started yelling at my sister. The lady never fitted us for masks or explained that there was a rinse bucket in the back. We didnt even ask for a refund and were treated poorly. Use to be such a sweet place growing up and had some of my childhood memories at this place. such a shame to see employees like this. the owner Matt was always so sweet to our family.

What a real dive shop should be!! Stocked with gear AND knowledgeable friendly staff, intimate, no worries, playing surf music in the background and not out to fleece the customers! Can’t get better service than Matt. Our snorkeling equipment did not make it to our house in time for our flight to Cuba. Could not go and purchase anything in fll as we arrived late and left early. Called Matt as we boarded our flight and had him select some equipment for us. Paid over the phone and it was waiting for us at our hotel. This was after two other shops had told us they can’t. He was considerate enough to leave a note explaining how to set up said equipment. You don’t get this kind of service anymore!!!

Im going on a cruise to dive and needed some help with my equipment. Hugh got me setup in no time at all. The shop is well appointed with a gracious staff. I highly recommend this dive shop.

This place is like a jewel in a hollow!My husband and I took scuba-diving classes with our diving instructor Hugh on a flexible 4-day schedule, including theoretical exam, pool class and open water dives. Hugh was very patient with me as I had unexpected problems with submersion under water with the regulator in my mouth.Throughout the four days Hugh went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, not only in scuba-diving environment, but on our entire visit. He would regularly recommend nice restaurants to have lunch or dinner at and seemed honestly concerned if we liked it.We feel very lucky for having chosen Underseas Sports, because it did not only give us great diving memories, but also a reason to come back and follow more journeys around our entire vacation.And for me one thing is clear. In my life I will only have 2 dive buddies, either my husband or our diving instructor from Underseas Sports!

Hugh was my dive instructor when I was finish my dive cert and I can easily say that was the best thing that could have happened!Hugh has helped me over the past years grow as a diver along with also being a stand-up guy.My last trip down, Carmen was my instructor for my Nitrox class.
