Loved it! Went on an awesome tour here back in February and it was absolutely the best. They found the best spot for us and gave us cool facts during the boat ride too! It was definitely a fun experience and I will 110% be back!

The 10:15 snorkeling trip today was amazing. Saw many different schools of fish. Got a great lesson on lobster. The Captain and Dive Master Brittany were amazing. You cannot find a better value for you money than this. I will definitely do it again and bring more friends and family. Great job.

My family and I went snorkeling with Sea experience and had an amazing time. My wife and kids were scared to get in the water that far out where they couldn’t touch and the crew made them feel super safe and we all got in and had an amazing experience. It was the highlight of our trip. And Brittany (I believe is her name) was a great tour guide as we left the channels she showed us the amazing homes on the coast and who lived there. We will definitely be going back next year #twinledges

What a great time! We have done this a few times before. We did it this weekend for my birthday and brought my 8 year old son! We had a blastThe boat crew is very friendly and knowledgeable. We had so much fun. Definitely do it again!!!

I really appreciated how friendly the staff was they answered all my questions and made me feel safe. It was our first time going out on the ocean let alone snorkeling so were nervous but by the time we got in the water we felt safe and excited.😁 we did learn that a couple of us had sea sickness and they explained how to help cure that too.(take the one motion sickness pill the night before and one morning of trip. To get a jump on fighting it.) I would definitely say this is an experience Ill never forget and am so thankful I tried!!!

My family and I just spent 3 days getting our Open Water Diver certification. Instructors Mike and Joel were great. They were patient and thorough as well as adaptable to our need for repetition on a few skills. The rest of the Sea Experience staff were all professional and very warm as well. Our four dives made on the Sea Experience dive boat was staffed with great professionals. Thanks to dive masters Bonnie, Victoria, and Trevor. We can’t wait for our next dive at Sea Experience.

I love this shop and this crew. Ive taken my dive club here twice and they rave about how good of a time they have. Captain keeps people safe and engaged. The crew is very helpful no matter the task. They were helpful and friendly. It was the perfect guided snorkeling tour to allow my tween son the opportunity to acclimate to ocean snorkeling. Seas were a bit rough because of storm cells around us, but we chose to push forward. I think my son gained some valuable experience, and we were able to work out some kinks in his gear. Now we are ready for snorkeling around the world! We will be visiting Sea Experience again when we are ready for our PADI certs!

The guides were 5 stars, the adventure itself and customer service leading up to the trip was 1 star so I averaged it at 3.I called 2 different times to talk to people about the weather and comfort level of the water temperature before purchasing my tickets. I was told people love it and have a great time in March. Our passes also said that they dont go out if there is inclement weather. Well, they wouldnt/didnt cancel our trip even with rain clouds coming. We paid an extra $10 for wetsuits and were miserable. There were 17 people on the boat and only people with wet suits stayed in the water for more than 2-3 minutes. No exaggeration. It was too cold to enjoy, even with a wet suit. It began to rain while on the way out to to reef and continued the entire way home. The water was extremely choppy and would only be comfortable to be in for an avid swimmer. The waves easily can carry a novice swimmer away. If you are not a wonderful swimmer and love the freezing temperatures, March is not the time for you to go snorkeling.Side note, there were not many fish to see. The water was cloudy and probably the worst snorkeling trip I have ever been on for seeing coral and fish.

My wife and I spent our 15 year anniversary on the sea experience snorkeling boat and we had an awesome time. The Captain Matteo was great and he treated us like he has known us his whole life and that was very cool. Will definitely be bringing the kids out next time.

Great crew and an awesome time, we really enjoyed our dive over the miss dania beach wreck and then the reef.

Overall the experience mediocre. However, the staff didn’t offer much guidance at all on how to correctly wear the goggles or the snorkeling vest. This led to me choking on a lot of salt water. I even asked for help and the staff looked at me like I was being unreasonable. It was a literal free-for-all, people clinging to the boat because there were two staff for 36 of us and most of us had no idea what we were doing. Not to mention, the reef we stopped at was dead, I saw ten of the same fish and that was about it. Giving two stars because the ride out was fun so at least there was that.

Andrew and Lawson were amazing today! We tried this out on our vacation and it did not disappoint! Andrew was great at explaining how to snorkel, and Lawson captained the boat like no other! Saw lots of fish and has lots of fun! Highly recommend :)

The ride to the spot was very good. We saw a lot of important/famous peoples mansions. The guides were great. Just a heads up, bring something for seasickness if you arent a sea a lot. I threw up a lot from having seasickness.

Two crew members were rude. One even made fun of me after I was in the water because of a light hearted comment that I made at my own expense about my old gear. Normally, Id beat these guys to a pulp, but a ship at sea is no place for a fight. I didnt tip, and I will not be going out with this dive charter again.

Awesome experience. My first time and I was nervous but once I learned how to breathe with the gear, I was able to go enjoy myself. We were in the water for a good while too. Highly recommended @

My boyfriend & I went on a group snorkeling trip and had An amazing time the whole way!! They take you on about an 45 minute boat ride and talk about some famous people houses which was super cool!! They ensure your safety and tell you how to use the life jacket and snorkel masks. My only “complaint” I would say that they should take in consideration is maybe taking the group to another place in the ocean with some coral, we saw lots of fishes but there wasn’t much more to look at. I would of been okay doing 30 minutes at one location and 30 minutes at another location. But we loved our captain and our dive guide made the experience so much fun!!! Thanks sea experience!!!😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

I had a discover scuba diving trip scheduled ONE MONTH in advance everything was good to go, I was going from Ohio to Florida just for this. Flight, rental car, hotel booked, and two days before the date they called me and just said “sorry we won’t help you” like for real?What an unprofessional place, no reason no excuse the person just told me “ oh I’m just relating the message to you” really.If I could give them negative stars I would.Don’t trust their word don’t make plans even if they sent you all forms and emails like they did me.

We probably would’ve had a lot of fun had the boat not broken immediately after arriving at the reef! The trip was completely cancelled. Maybe this shouldn’t be the top result for snorkeling if they can’t even have a safe boat.

We had a great time and they even help me with my fear of water! And saved me.. we had an amazing trip! Be prepared specially if it is windy waves were pretty big and we had a few people feeling sea sick.

My son and I got very seasick but other than that it was a great experience! The staff, Bonnie and Marc were great. They were super attentive to me and my son and Also the other passengers. They really did go above and beyond to make it a safe and memorable experience. The boat was nice and clean, they had drinks and all equipment you would need. Just take your towels, and sunscreen and you’re all set. Truly can’t say enough how much I appreciated the great service from the captain and other staff, and even the young lady in the office was great.

Had a great experience! From check in at the shop to the boat & snorkeling, everything was great, everyone was really nice. We had a great trip!

The ride to the snorkling spot was great, the staff was knowledgeable of the area etc, however the water was 10-12 ft deep, and i thought that to be a little ruff for snorkling, i couldnt really enjoy the experience due to waves crashing over my head, also dont waste the extra money (17.99) for the 27 picture package, they give you a disposable under water camera from walgreens! Which i didnt get to use due to the waves making me feel like i would drown.

My friend and I went on this tour over the weekend and we were both highly disappointed. The reef they took us to was pretty much barren. I didnt see a single coral formation. Only one yellow fish,l and a puffer fish. There was more humans than any vegetation or marine life. They have a picture book at the front desk and rant and rave about all the life we would see and the pictures were from the particular reef we visited that day. Everything she said was a complete lie. After our time was over I made the statement about how it def wasnt the Discovery channel and that there was no color at all. The response I was given was that people visit the best places in the world to have that experience. Well if thats the case than you shouldnt be scamming tourists into thinking that its the experience they are getting. They go on and on about how much it cost them to provide these tours and pretty much throwing the pity train on the tourists during the trip. If theyre going outta business or need the business I can see why!!! You can literally google coral reefs in Fort Lauderdale and find many local spots that you can swim to yourself for FREE. Yall should at least paint some coral and plants along with some fake fish and set it up in the water where you claim this reef is at. Be something to look at other than a bunch of sand!!!

Please read this before you decide on n this company. We booked with sea experience because it was close to our hotel and had good reviews, but knowing what I now know after taking the trip with my family if 4, I would never book this again. Somethings to know before you go just for your information- their is a cost for parking it is $11 with a QR code from the office. A gratuity and taxes are added to your bill to get a total amount. Our Captain was Quinn and first mate Bonnie. We brought our own gear- they do provide gear, but I highly recommend bringing your own bc it’s better. They clean theirs but leaving it in a bucket of cleaner/sanitizer then reuse. The boat was packed- 47 passengers. With that many people, the captain definitely needed at least 2 more crew on the boat. We new the weather was a hit or miss that day but we decided to go out. The site they took us to a snorkeling site that was about 1/4 mile off the beach from our hotel and dropped anchor. We had to ask for fins which they did have on board- but I guess you have to ask. It was really rough seas, but my kids (8 and 10) are excellent swimmers and both myself and husband are experienced in snorkeling so we thought we could do it. We were so wrong. The waves were at least 3 feet tall and rolling over my kids. We kept drifting due to the pull and waves. We tried toSnorkel with them but it was too rough. Lots of kids on board and inexperienced swimmers all had problems and Bonnie had to rescueA LOT of the patrons on board. If you are an inexperienced swimmer you should not be going on this trip or taking your small children. We ended up realizing it was not safe for them so we brought them back on board and did not go back out. We watched as the other boat that was with us lost their anchor and almost sandwiched our boat with a active snorkelers in between. Our captain started yelling at the other boat and the snorkelers to get out of the water. Thank goodness our captain was keeping an eye out! He seemed stress at times mainly because of the movement of the boats, and lots of inexperienced swimmers but he remained calm and never panicked. The snorkeling site was such a disappointment. The coral was dead, their were only very few fish present and water was cloudy. The reef was at least 15 feet below us. Between the unsafe conditions, disappointing dive site and lack of what we consider the appropriate amount of help onboard for all the inexperienced and young passengers, this trip was not worth you time or money. Please, please considered going to John Pennekamp State park (we did this a few days before) to snorkel with them in the keys. They have a protected coral reef and it’s beautiful! So much marine life and much safer for kids and better experience all around for your money. If you do book this, make sure you take your own gear, be prepared for choppy water, dead coral, and make sure you are an experienced swimmer.

Dove the Wreck of the Tracey and Oakland Ridge Reef with Sea Experience. Everyone both in the shop and on the dive boat was very helpful. The boat crew knows their stuff and gave us a great outing.

I am super new and just finished my open water certification. I called 3 dive shops and Sea Experience was the ONLY one I felt like actually cared wether or not I went diving with them. I ended up driving 30 mins from my hotel because of the friendly customer orientated atmosphere. From the 3 months prior To my trip, up to the manager and local owner, I felt like guest number 1!My private guide was extremely accommodating and went at whatever pace I chose. I wanted to go slow as it was my first dive in the ocean and there was a current. We reviewed hand signals (my request) and talked about what to expect and what to look for.Cody, Britt, Andrew and Mark were the names I could remember but the captain on the day prior and the other 2 guides were all awesome and super helpful!There was a mixed variety of divers so it was a lot of fun watching the vets lobster hunt while I tried to keep my trim happy lol.I can’t speak to the negative reviews on this site because I wasn’t there. But based on what I saw I truly feel if given the chance to make it right, Sea Experience and their team would have. When it comes to diving in Florida, I found my LDS!!!!!Thanks!!!

Andrew and Lawson were amazing crew members and the snorkeling was amazing. Fins are optional and the snorkel and googles are included. Wonderful experience for sure!

Very nice staff and a great value, 50/person w snorkle gear included. We enjoyed an entertaining tour of expensive houses and boats before anchoring at our snorkle spot. There were a lot of beautiful fish and we stayed at that spot for enough time to explore and enjoy the sea creatures. Im very happy w my experience.

Amazing dive. capt made a judgement call that day to switch locations which put us right on the most incredibly clear water. these people are smart, professional, fun and know exactly what they are doing!

The whole experiance was okay. The water was super choppy. Everyone on the boat was sick. Didnt get to see much fish.. If you dont know how to swim, this is not for you.

My father and I took a snorkeling trip with them, and we had an amazing time. The reef was cool and the stories about the millionaires row on the way out was interesting to listen to. We went snorkeling on our own later, and Sea Experience rented us out a dive buoy and snorkel vests even though they dont typically sell or rent them. Huge shoutout to Kayla, Bonnie and Trevor for hooking us up like that.The price and the people were both great.

One of the worst excursions I’ve ever taken I’ve been scuba diving since I was 16 years old my son is not certified therefore we went snorkeling we were taken just outside of busy choppy channel with too much current in 4 to 6. Foot swells looking at container ships and cruise ships there was no coral reef or one of the many shipwrecks I Florida has it was extremely cloudy with barely any fish I felt our lives were in jeopardy the crew and captain Bonnie was not helpful one bit, trying to board back on the ship. He just looked at us and couldn’t lift a finger to even take our fins many people were vomiting and when we got back to shore they were canceling the next excursion I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General’s office a Florida not to mention masks were not enforced as we were told

We had an absolute fantastic time! Andrew and Mateo were very nice, informative, and patient. I would book with them again and again! The conditions were perfect, we saw lots of lovely fish, and got to snorkel for a long time!

I would consider other alternatives if you are looking at professional career options. Sea experience instructors did not teach any theory for my dive master program and refuses to take any responsibility in lack of instruction. I would consider making the drive to the keys where the Divemaster program covers what it is suppose to. I have created a formal quality complaint with PADI. There are better options in key largo at Rainbow Reef to get free housing with your dive master program as well.well. It’s a shame I did not realize sooner that you have to crack a book in the DM program to be successful for the IDC.

Crew were very nice. Short ride to where we snokleled at. On this day it wasnt the clearest but it was a good spot on the reef. Felt very safe. First timers would have fun.

My review is only on the pre-trip interactions as the trip was canceled even after I called to confirm it was still going out prior to scheduling my $50 Uber ride one way. I was told to take some coupons and get smashed to take away the painful expensive ride after I asked if they would cover my Uber rides. If their policy is we have to confirm or lose our cost going out then why doesn’t it work both ways and they pay for what it cost me especially if they confirm it’s still going out?

We had a great trip with the crew and other divers. All gear was brought onto the ship for us. Paperwork was swift and easy to be filled out. Ron (our captain) explained all very well and guaranteed a safe trip. We visited Miss Dania Wreck and Baracuda Reef for a drift dive. We even saw a nurse shark and a big turtle.

The guides were awesome cool dudes on boat 1 ocean was a little rough when we went today but was fun and a cool experience Ive uve never done anything like it I cant wait to develop the photos from the camera I got

Amazing experience!! About a 30 minute boat ride/tour of the bay and then an hour of snorkeling in the ocean. There were fish literally get away from you EVERYWHERE! Highly highly highly recommend this experience. And the staff was extremely nice and entertaining.

Terrible experience. I booked a diving trip five days in advance and the day before, after 5 p.m., they called me to cancel because they weren’t able to get a divemaster. This ended screwing up one of my vacation days. They should have notified me much earlier so I could find a solution.

By far the best experience in Florida for me! The crew were exceptionally knowledgeable and helpful. Enjoyed being out in the water and the fish were cool.

Britt was absolutely awesome and so knowledgeable and friendly, and Kayla held the boat for us and helped us be able to enjoy this on our last day in town..definitely something to try even if you are afraid, they make it so fun and easy...thank you everyone!

Used their scuba charter a few times. The dive shop is organized, boat is clean, captain is friendly. They will give you a discounted parking voucher that will bring down the parking to $7. They’ve raised the charter rates since COVID. If you ask they will help you haul your gear to the boat.Update: very professional staff, as always great dive center.

The captain begged for tips pretty much the entire trip. You couldnt see anything out of the glass bottoms of the boat. I probably wont go again...

My crew and I came to Ft. Lauderdale from all over the eastern sea board based on recommendations to dive with Sea Experience. We were not let down!!! Captain Mateo and his crew were the most exceptional full service dive crew I have dove with in 15 years of diving. Our dives sites were Hog Heaven (wreck) and The Caves (reef). There was some current on the wreck site but it made for an excellent reef drift dive for our second. We all agree, we will return to dive with this shop again.

I booked a trip 2 months in advance for a snorkeling trip with my family of 7. We almost arrived and they called and said that our trip had been cancelled. At the very last second. They would not get us on the afternoon trip and just offered a refund with no option to give us something to do in exchange for our trip. Ruined our vacation

These guys were great. From helping my son and I get our rental equipment in the shop, to the time on the dive.There was a good selection of gear in the shop to choose from. My son and I are both pretty big, but were able to find wet suits and BCDs that fit our over sized frames.The dive boat got us out to two great dives and the crew were very helpful in getting us on site, telling us where to look, and providing all the assistance needed when getting into or out of the water.I will certainly be using them again when I am next in the area and looking to dive.

Captain Lawson, Craig and Bonny were fantastic. We brought our two kids and they loved it too. The crew were great with the kids, and helped settle our 6 year old when he got scared! We will be back to dive with them sans kids

We enjoyed diving with with charter. The crew was attentive and our Captain and crew did a really good job. Drift diving the east coast of FL was new to us and we enjoyed it a lot.

Staff was freindly, great to work with, and knowledgeable.Rental equipment was in great condition. The dive sites we great with lots of aquatic life. The dive guide/master diver I had was superb, she helped me out tremendously on my short falls and never once did I feel intimidated for the lack of my knowledge. Great experience and will definitely use them again if Im back in the area.

Thank you for an amazing dive trip! We went diving with Sea Experience in December 2018 as well as today in July 2019. Mateo gave us a refresher course the first time we went out since we have not dove in many years. We were outfitted at the shop and went in the Bahia Mar pool. Mateo is a funny guy, but also very knowledgeable and safe. As we were on the trip with a new diver, Mateo was able to calm her and that made us all feel better. We went again today and it was truly unbelievable! The shop, renting the gear, the boat, the crew and the day were perfect!! We saw a Grouper, Green Sea Turtle, Nurse Shark, many Lobsters and beautiful fish both on the wreck dive, Hog Heaven, as well as the Reef Dive. We live locally and will continue to go with Sea Experience at Bahia Mar with Mateo as our guide for all of our future dive trips!!

Enjoyed a family snorkel trip over Memorial Day weekend. The crew made the boat ride fun with jokes and a history of some of the mansions along the way. Captain Mateo and crew took great care to ensure my boys had an exceptional first snorkeling experience. Visibility was good and fish were abundant on the reef.

Highly recommend doing the snorkel experience! We have rented jet skis and done other experiences, but by far this was the most memorable at the best price! It was a great afternoon and from booking to arrival back at the dock the staff and crew were friendly and accommodating.

Awesome activity to do while visiting especially for the price. The reef had a ton of fish and the boat was comfortable. Our dive master Bonnie was friendly and caught a lobster for us.

WOW WOW WOW. What an amazing trip. We took the family snorkeling and it was top notch. From the boat to the crew to the fish we saw. Excellent!!! Highly recommended for anyone with or without children. Care was so helpful with my 6 year old. Halfway through he was jumping in off the boat into the ocean.

Amazing diving experiences to numerous wrecks and reefs in the area. The staff, dive masters and captains were all exceptional and knowledgeable about the area and aquatic life. The price was reasonable and would happily come back here when I’m in the area. Great gear in the shop that is well priced too.

Sea experience was very organized in the beginning of our booking process, although we when showed up they were scrambling for gear and paperwork. The general manager was undermining all of his employees which was not only uncomfortable for his employees but it made us, as customers, feel us uneasy as first time divers. I’m only giving it three stars because our instructor was phenomenal. He made us feel competent and confident enough to finish the dives for our first time in the ocean. Sea experience was the most reasonable place in the area with great reviews but we were a tad disappointed in the way the dive shop was ran.

I have been snorkeling here a few times and I love the experience and staff! The staff is pleasant, patient, and always makes the excursion fun while passenger safety is a top priority. If you’re looking for a fun day out on the water, look no further, we will be booking again with the family!

My wife and I were excited to come try a little snorkeling in Florida, and were surprised and disappointed by our experience here.- The boat was overcrowded with people, with not enough storage for peoples bags.- Off duty staff were chugging beers, and doing back flips off the boat, and getting the numbers of tourists daughters. Very unsavory.- The reef had some fish swimming around, but otherwise was a dead desolate rock ledge. A far cry from the video in the shop of luscious reefs.On the whole it felt like a total cattle car, and was just an unpleasant experience, with very unprofessional conduct of the staff, especially the off duty staff who were along. They flaunted the rules that the passengers were asked to follow, and watching them booze was a very bad look.I highly recommend avoiding, both for the totally mediocre snorkeling, and the generally unpleasant experience.Very disappointing.

Sea Experience is a must do when you come to Fort Lauderdale. The crew are very knowledgeable and friendly. During the boat ride they gave background on the surrounding area and fun facts. The water is quite clear going out and diving on the reef where you can see many different species of marine life, the best was seeing a stingray. One of the best experiences for a reasonable price.

Yes this is the one to choose if your undecide, my daughter and I went snorkeling on vacation and I must say we had a blast and Shane and Chris made us feel so comfortable, calm and they were very patient plus they were extremely informative. I cant thank them enough for make this experience a successful outing on my girls trip. Thanks guys

I was on vacation here in FL and this by far was the best attraction I have done. The instructors were hands on and actually took the time to help me swim and make sure I was comfortable with the water. I have never had instructors be so sweet and attentive. I would highly reccomend and it was such a fun experience! 😊

Awesome experience! Best snorkeling in Florida (not including key west). Captain was very nice and worked for his tip at the end of the trip. Had bad experiences in other snorkeling trips, this is the best one so far. The reef was beautiful with loads of things to see. Time flew by because of how fun it was.

This is a great outing. The people working here are incredibly helpful from Sally at the counter to Capt Joe and dive master Fernando. This is a really well done afternoon. We highly recommend it.

Hands down the best crew. I took my first open water dive with sea experience unfortunately for me being to inexperienced i panicked while doing a 70ft dive. The captain and crew knew i was a rookie and stood close by me and my husband while we decended. During the decend i shot to the surface in a panick only to be met by Bonnie a crew member who came to my aid immediately. They took such great care of me. We had a second dive that day and the crew was more then happy to do the dive with me. That alone told me that this dive team was amazing. My second dive was a success thanks to the sea experience crew!

Mateo and Fernando were awesome! Best experience while we were there! Very safe and very fun. They had everyone on the boat laughing and made everyone feel comfortable, and explained things to everyone! Highly recommend! They even sang for my daughters 21st birthday! Thanks Mateo and Fernando!

I totally recomend this place! I took my daughter snorkeling, her first time. The service on the boat from the instructors was great Mateo and Anthony were awesome. Anthony took pictures of fish for her because the fish were took close for me so I chickened and got out. My daughter had a great experience, I would definitely book with them again! I loved Mateos jokes!

Went on a snorkeling trip today with family down from Ga. We had a fantastic time! Captain and crew were all very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Will definitely do this again!
