I have been a customer renting three large space storage units at Life Storage Store # 455. I have rented consistently these units there for 4 years. A big reason I continued to be a customer there was the Professional A ++, customer Service I ALWAYS received from the Manager Mike L. He always was helpful, friendly and Professional in ALL interactions. He runs a Nice, Clean, Safe facility there. All customers who currently have units there know this. I am writing this for all potential Future lessees of storage space there. Also, you will find it difficult to find a storage facility that offers more secure and ample parking spaces than Life Storage does at this facility.People are always eager to report on any complaint they have with a service. We needed a quick storage unit between moves for a few items and they were amazing at Life Storage, they got us in in a day! The manager and employees went above and beyond to help us, they were so kind and helpful throughout the entire experience. The unit was in great condition, well-lit, and the entire place feels very safe and secure. I would give them 10 stars if possible for making our storage experience wonderful.

The facility is neat and clean conveniently located near the Victoria Park /Las Olas area. I did the rental online and was surprised to get a call from Mike the manager introducing himself. He does a great job and is very helpful. He has now helped me add another storage space and could not be more pleasant to work with. This is a great find!

I could not get into my storage locker and the other one I could not find, I went downstairs and asked for help, they helped me get Into my locker, helped me find the other one, were very kind and patient and made my frustrations go away! I have to go back again soon and I am not resenting the thought because I know there will be good service and assistance if I need it when I get there !! Thank you!

Today I rented a storage unit for my first time. All of my questions were answered by associate sales manager Syed and he showed me the unit before I purchased to make sure it was the size I needed. I am at the Fort Lauderdale location in downtown area. The place is well secured and well maintained. Sayed was most courteous and helpful. I could not ask for a better introduction to renting a storage unit! Very happy with my choice.

Super easy and great location, was by far the cheapest and simplest storage unit I found for the price in Ft. Lauderdale, I literally looked everywhere and their hidden fees were bogus, for a 4x4 unit it was coming up to around $100 bucks, life storage gave me one with first month free for around half of that AND they gave me a 5x10 which thank god bc it was the perfect size for all my stuff. When I was done with the unit, Syed the manager was so nice and helpful when “checking out” lol I’d recommend this place over ALL PLACES!

I have been a customer of this location through several name changes and watched the facility get very “corporate.” The ONLY reason I remained a customer is the amazing staff that has always treated me like a friend first. Whenever I am unable to meet a delivery they happily receive a package and store it for me. Ken and Mike are awesome and the reasons while I am still a customer!

Manager checked box that ‘no longer need space’ but in actuality it is because of a rent increase.Having used this facility for over 15 years, the laissez faire attitude when told I was choosing another facility makes this decision much easier.I HIGHLY DON’T recommend this business.Go elsewhere for less expensive rates and a much cleaner environment.Cannot tell you what a great establishment this is, along with the pros in the office.Big thanks to Mike and Ken for always being efficient, professional and running an exceptionally clean business.Highly recommend this facility!!!!

I have been here for 2 + years. Place is great. Clean and staff is so nice. Mike has been great and yesterday with power outages. They came and checked on us and help us. The power was do to accident a few blocks away took the power out in the area Just downsize to a smaller unit still wanna keep stuff here it’s always clean no odor no bugs

Mike gave me my initial tour of the grounds and went above and beyond with showing me what options I had, from units down to the potential storage/ organizers for my unit.The employees at Life storage are professional, NICE, detail-oriented, attentive and helpful. The property is very clean, well-lit, secure and did I mention that the customer service is unparalleled?? It’s a big building, but it’s very secure, and has trolleys and elevators for your convenience, as well as an ideal parking situation, as you are able to drive right up to bring your stuff to your unit. Many of these places only care about getting your money, but at this life storage, they actually care about you as a customer as well. Thank you for your professionalism!

I dont usually write reviews but then I dont usually encounter someone as exceptional and helpful as Kharetta. I needed help renting a large unit for various items and she not only walked me through the process but she walked me to the different units and showed me the sizes and locations. I think I was having a low blood sugar day because I got lost on the 4th floor while trying to find the unit I eventually rented... Kharetta saw that I was lost on the monitor and came up to the 4th floor to help me to my unit =) ! What an angel. She is very knowledgeable and I think she must know everyone who rents there...speaks fondly of many customers. Besides being extremely competent she is a complete joy and always positive. Ive since rented multiple units and pop in to visit her each time Im there...she is Life Storages best asset for sure!!

We love Life Storage in Fort Lauderdale on NE 3rd Ave. Having moved to Fort Lauderdale back in August, we were unfamiliar with the area. We needed storage. We tried several different locations and found all of them to be sketchy and nasty with questionable activity going on. We live super close to this location and were able to make our reservation online after hours. We were able to open our unit with no issues and they even provided a free lock! We love the staff, they are very friendly and helpful and always greeting me with a smile. If you need a storage unit in FLL, this is THE PLACE!!! We are so glad we found Life Storage.

Ken was great. Always with a smile and eager to help. In this location they will bend over backwards to make you happy. I feel confident to leave my belonging here and not worry about it. Try it, you wont be disappointed.

My husband and I have our wine storage here and every time we have to pick something up or drop something off, James is always so helpful, courteous, and polite. We are from South Miami so having that kind of quality customer service really makes the trip to our storage a pleasant experience. Highly recommend for wines. Its very safe and secure and can only be accessed with employee supervision.
