I bought this cool little Jet boat but it needed a little work done. The floor had a big hole in it so that wasnt good. The instruments and radio didnt work either. I also wanted the engine inspected and tuned and a horn installed.I talked with Gary the Manager at Moss Marina and he said sure we can take care of that for you!The floor was repaired and carpeted. New panel, instruments and breaker panel were installed. New engine cut-off switch, horn, radio and speakers were installed. The end result was outstanding and fairly priced! The team did a fantastic job!I recommend Moss for all your Boat Repairs, Boat Storage needs. The people that work there treat you like family. The facilities are very clean and the ship store has everything you need for a day on the boat.Thanks yall!

I had such a nice experience at this marina. I am a single hand sailor and two gentlemen were there to help me in and did a great job. Solid AC power, floating docks, amenities, and really close to all the action for bar and beach scenes. Everyone extremely friendly and helpful, meet you with a smile and a food morning. What a great place! I went in there because they were selling a used outboard motor and I needed one. Gary and his team took care of us extremely well! They installed it on the boat and I could not be more satisfied with them! If you ever need any kind of marine service, Moss Marina is the best place to go!!

We kept our 16’ flats boat at Moss Marina during Labor Day weekend and we could not have had a better experience. From the start they were very accommodating and attentive, we got there a little late our first day and they were nice enough to let us store the boat on the trailer on their property since we could not at our rental. We showed up the next day and they promptly got the boat in the water and instructed us clearly on where we were to dock it. Here is why I highly recommend Moss Marina, 10 mins after the boat got in the water we noticed we were taking a lot of water on and the bilge was barely able to keep up. They promptly got our boat back out of the water, we thought our trip/weekend was shot due to the live well hose being cracked. However Brian and others quickly diagnosed the issue and fixed this hose immediately and saved our weekend. They were nice enough to drop what they were doing to help save our weekend and potentially even our boat. I can’t recommend Moss Marina enough, what a great experience we had with them.

Just happened to stop in for some bait. We had to park and walk around the building however we were greeted by Joel who pointed us toward the store, got our bait, and then took the time to fix our bubbler (our bait stayed alive all day). Amazing how something as simple as getting bait was improved so much by Joel’s extra help going above and beyond made the experience so nice.

Moss Marina has been our favorite marina for years. They always have everything you need and the staff is top-notch. James and Joel helped us on our last visit and they were super helpful and friendly.

They fixed my boat with personalized care and gave me processional advice - above and beyond they agreed scope of work, And the rates are very competitive, not what I would expect at a well established marina in a prime location. Great marina facility. Short walk to beaches, shopping and restaurants of Ft Myers Beach. The owners lounge has a big screen tv, laundry and clean restrooms and showers. The staff are great and go above and beyond the call of duty. I look forward to coming back.

Awesome service! Mitch was great and helped us out with renting the boat and fishing poles! They helped us get familiar with the area and cool spots. Gary was super friendly and even drove us back to our air bnb in his golf cart! Great prices, 100% recommend!

Good tasting water in Captains Lounge. Damn I hope there is still room for me next time after I tell the internet that... But yeah refill your water bottles in the Captains Lounge best tasting tap water Ive seen in south west Florida. (Probly filtered city water but I dont know, just tastes good).Also best bathrooms yet, private shower toilets 4 of them. 2 washers and dryers. And a really nice captains Lounge.Service department is complete with nice ships store that can get anything and isnt West Marine.Friendly staff. New floating docks. Funky cool colored buildings!Most important didnt have to go under the bridge!

The Staff at Moss Marine go above and beyond the call of duty. Gary the new mechanic knows exactly how to get the job done Wade and the many other staff members make you feel right at home. I recommend this place to all Update Jan 17 2021. Was having real engine troubles Gary recommended repowering apposed to putting another junk motor on. Engine ordered mounted and back on the water in the same week . Gary and his staff have my respect Great Job.

We stopped to purchase fuel and upon completion the starboard engine would not start. Gary, the manager was quick to respond with both a solution and an amazing positive attitude. Even though we were holding up other sales, Gary and the dock crew were right there to help and eased our frustrations. I’m not sure the name of the young teen on the dock crew but he made our day showing respect and kindness. What was a bad situation was treated with grace. Thanks.

This past weekend, I brought guests down to Bunche Beach to check it out and have some lunch.  I have a pair of Seadoo racing jetskis and Im an avid rider, however, the other driver is not.  I anchored my jetski off the beach and talked the other driver through how to anchor and what to look out for in the process.  Just as Im explaining to make sure and not let the jetski ride over the anchor line - zip! - it was gone.  Completely wrapped itself around the impeller shaft in a matter of 2 seconds.  Fortunately, I yelled to pull the engine cutoff and got it shutdown before damage was done.This being my first time having this issue, I started looking at what my options were on a Sunday afternoon.  Sea Tow would have been a nightmare, no local dealers were open on Sunday to even come help me.  I decided to tow it over to Moss Marina using my other jetski.The dock hand met me at their floating dock and guided me into a wide slip that I could maneuver both skis into easily.  I explained to him what had happened and he called for the marina manager, Gary, to come talk to me about what options I had.Gary met me dockside and we talked through options.  I pulled it around so Chris, the lift operator, could lift it out of the water and we could see what we were dealing with.  Chris moved it out and we got underneath and saw the anchor line and hook jammed up in the impeller.  Gary immediately jumped into action and we started removing things to get to the obstructions.  We were met with many obstacles, the biggest being the hook at the end of the anchor line being wedged in and the only way we could free it was to remove the jet cover and IBR system to be able to push the hook through the backside.  Gary and Chris worked with me for hours to methodically take everything apart and free the obstruction.  Once freed, we were all ecstatic that we could put it all back together.  Chris moved it up and down on the lift to give Gary and I the right angles to work on things and we got everything put back together and back in the water to test it.  It fired right up and ran perfectly.  By this point it was well after the marina had closed and Chris and Gary had stayed late to help me work on something neither of them had ever encountered and worked as diligently as I did to get it running again.They could have told me sorry, move along.  They could have charged me a ton of money knowing I was stranded.  They were extremely affordable and exceptional guys to work with.  But, Gary and Chris both went above and beyond and have a loyal customer for life.

Gary and Wade were very quick to help me out with my Mercury engine issue. He’s been very honest about what my problem is and how quickly it can be fixed. I appreciate so much the effort that Gary and his tech are putting into finding the issue. Thanks a ton you guys!

Don’t look anywhere else! These guys are true yachtsmen. They took us in for a very dangerous storm and came out to help with lines AFTER HOURS AND UNPAID. Other local mooring fields’ mismanaged our reservation and left us stranded in 30 kn blow. So unsafe. Moss stepped up! They have a great local reputation and now I see why!

We rented from Moss two times this last week, and both times the staff went above and beyond with their customer service. The first time, one of the dock hands told us exactly where to go to catch quality fish. Which paid off immensely. The second time we noticed a little trouble with the motor on the way back and we were going to mention it upon our return. Instead, Gary met us at the dock, apologized for any inconvenience, AND he also told us the fuel won’t be charged along with offering us a discount on the rental. Needless to say, we will definitely be coming back to Moss Marina on our next vacation to Florida.

The staff is friendly and awesome! They have boats for rentals, and boats for sale. If they would only update their drink selections 🙂!! The main thing is their customer service is the best, thank you!!So a year ago I gave this place a 5 star rating as of today I am taking it away. They are under new management whole new staff and their service has declined greatly!! With all of that being said they are going up on rates which I understand for new comers not for the customers that have been here for years now and seen management change over and over agian. We have not 1 but 2 boats here and yet they want to up the price. At this point we will pass and say good luck!!!

We rented a pontoon boat here for half a day, and we were very pleased with the staff (nice check-in staff and very cool boat handler [? is that what theyre called]) and equipment (new boat, very clean). Unfortunately, we had a small snafu occur while we were out, and I accidentally called the wrong boat company for a tow back to Moss. Luckily, the company we called was right next door, and they do favors for each other at times. Upon our arrival at the marina, as embarrassed as I was at having called the wrong company, both companies put me at ease and got us back on our way home swiftly and without any hassle (even though it was past the return time). Overall, this companys great business sense and camaraderie with other similar businesses in the area helped save the day (I should note it was my husbands 50th birthday, so it not being ruined by anything outside our control or from my mistakes was beyond a relief).

We were guests of a friend who keeps his boat there. Staff was very helpful and prompt helping a mobility challenged person onto and off of the boat.

Moss has exceeded our expectations for customer service in our brief 3 day stay here. Our comfort and safety here as sailors during 3 days of terrible weather has been at the forefront of their managments concern, all the way to the top. If you are ever in the fort myers beach area looking for transient dockage I cant say enough about Moss. If the helpful staff isnt enough to make up your mind, then their awesome boaters lounge amenities surely will.

Nice new docks, clean convenient store, couple of pennies higher on fuel, $25.00 rip off on head pump out. Purchased $140.00 in fuel and they charge 25.00 for a pump out on a small boat that has a 10 gallon tank. I understand the charge for a big boat that has a 50 or a 100 gallon tank but $25 for the average small boat is ridiculous. Would have rated it a 5 star but taking advantage of small boaters gets them 3 stars

My rating is on the boat dealership side of this business. We bought a band new, expensive boat at the end of May. They sold the boat to me without disclosing that the 300hp Evinrude no longer had a production company behind their motor. In fact, this motor was pushed heavily on me. Now that may not have mattered much if the new motor on my new boat ran and never had an issue, but thats not the case for me. 12 days after picking the boat up, the motor blew. I understand that things happen, but the effort this dealer put forth was an embarrassmant to anyone providing customer service. The amount of times I was lied to is unreal. Commitments were missed, communication was non-existent unless I followed up multiple times...Ultimately the motor had a powerhead replaced months after going down. Shortly after getting the boat back, another service call for what ultimately was incompetence on installing the motor. After getting the motor back, the unit clearly was missing power it had when I bought it. I bought a ~50mph tritoon that now wont crack 40mph. I set up another appointment to get this looked at. 2 weeks of it sitting in the shop due to weather and several follow up calls later, they finally decided that there are no codes so nothing is wrong. They acknowledge that it lacks the speed and power it should have, but the owner of this business says there is nothing they can do and to pick the boat up. This is a highly shortened review summarizing my experience. I wish someone wrote something like this when I was researching this dealer, but all of the reviews are for their rental company or fuel dock. If you want to do business with someone that treats even 1 of their customers like this...well...yikes.

Very good service and reasonable prices for gas of course they only serve up 90 Proof ethanol free at reasonable market prices. They also have a deckhand to table that help you get up to the dock especially in windy or tide conditions. Additionally when you walk in the door you are greeted with a large freezer of ice cold beer for a nominal fee of course. Highly recommend especially if youre running out of gas and beer this is the perfect place to stop.

I was throughly impressed with the folks here. Professional and very easy to talk to. I was so impressed by several of the individuals that I spoke with. I will be bringing my boat here and staying with them for a month or two. Thanks for the WOW service!

We lost a bolt out of the Tie on our Verado on a very windy afternoon at quarter of 5 on Sunday we tied up at their dock and were introduced to Gary who did not have a bolt but actually made a replacement both for us and saved our day I cant say enough great things about Gary and Moss Marina!

This place REALLY let me down. I WAS a loyal customer until they canceled my reservation without letting me know. I had family members very excited to go out on a boat again until we arrived and they told me that my reservation was canceled and there was nothing they could do. Drove to Hurricane Bay Boat Rentals and was able to rent the last boat available. Thank you Jesus. If you rent a boat from this marina, get the persons name taking your information and keep calling them until the day of your reserved date. Time to purchase my own boat.

I cant say enough kind words to say about Capt. Kelly and the service we got at Moss Marina.Having newly re-located to Ft Myers Beach from California, we soon found out that much of the community is centered around boating.Since our new house has a dock and lift we naturally bought a boat. When in Rome... and all that.Its been quite an eye opening learning experience these past few weeks as neither one of us has a clue about boat stuff especially how to park one!Our boat came fully fueled when purchased but we burned through that and had to re-fill last week for the first time.I had visions of ramming into the gas pumps, and all the other boats that had the misfortune to be refueling at the same time we were (..did I mention that we were new at all this?..)Labor day we idled up to Moss Marina with just fumes in our tanks and dread in our hearts when on the pier was Capt. Kelly who grabbed our line and helped reel us up to the pump. He stayed with us helping us gas up, and fill our fresh water tanks. He recommended a map chart for me to purchase inside their convenient store and entertained us with friendly chatter as we filled up. He gave us helpful hints on boating, then thanked us and helped shove us off and on our way!!!!The only con I have is that Capt. Kelly isnt there at our dock to help us. I dont know how much more our boat and pylons can endure of my parallel parking

Very professional and friendly staff. The electrical shore tie was very sensitive to gfci faults so we were unable to use it. Had to run generator all night.

Rented a boat from here today, 8 hour boat rental for $500. Picked the boat up early in the morning, the boat was dated and had steering issues when at speed, brought the boat back and was given a different boat, the second boat quit and broke down was towed back to Moss for yet a third boat. No issues with the third boat, things happen (twice), the third boat worked great and our guests from out of town were able to enjoy the waters and attractions of the ft myers beach area. When I returned the boat after 6 hours of use I was charged for a half day rental and for the fuel used. Zero consideration or compensation was offered or given for their inferior products and time wasted, was told from management that it’s “not their problem” if the boats break down, it’s on the renter.One suggestion would be for Moss, do some light googling for the term “customer service”, there is a wealth of knowledge of how to treat people after you screw up.
