I placed a curb side pickup order. Once it was confirmed that it was ready, I went to pick it up. After checking in, I waited over 20 minutes, but nobody brought me my order. I had to go inside to pick it up instead. I don’t usually mind going inside, but it defeats the purpose of the curbside option and I wasted my time waiting for someone to come that never did. I have the feeling of being stood up. It feels like an overall bad experience.

On 09/12 Young lady with long hair sitting at a desk near appliances on Sunday afternoon was extremely courteous and helpful. A young man with long dark hair in the back was the same way. The two of them were above and beyond what we expected. The elderly man on the paint department was helpful and courteous and so was the lady who checked us put in the front. I believe it was self checkout but she walked over to us while we stood in line and offered to ring us up. This is in complete opposition to how we had been treated at your local competition. We appreciated this.

I ordered windows from this store on May 9th. The store failed to place the order and 6 weeks later, had to re-order the windows. I was given a date in July to pick up my windows. The store did not have them and gave me a new date in August.No windows in August. I finally received all but one window in late August and was told I would have the last window in September.It is now October 25th and no window. The store employees keep offering to help but so far, none have called or updated the issue despite telling me they would call the vendor and call me.Ok Zain, Alisha and Jeremy have all been nice but that doesn’t produce a window or results. I have yet to receive a call from anyone with an update. I have to drive to the store week after week to get some kind of update. Usually, it’s “I don’t know.I also purchased my wood flooring from here but I had to cancel the install because it was months before anyone could come. I installed them myself.I’m glad I did not purchase my cabinets or appliances from here or my project would never have been finished.When the commercial says Home Depot is for doers, they definitely mean the homeowners because they don’t do anything but take your money and make you wait.Thankful Lowe’s is next door.

They were awesome! My wife had been dealing with the other guys next door for over a week, trying to get some plants for the front of our kids elementary school across the road. Next door was nothing but a hassle. She walked in to Home Depot and it was a breeze. They didnt have to go find a manager since there was one greeting customers at the front door. They let her pick out what she needed right then so we could get them planted that is day. Now the school will look great when the students show up next week!

Today September 13, 2pm tool rental department best customer service I have ever received at big box store or anywhere else. To satisfy the customer “me “ was their goal. Hats off to you

We went by your store today to buy a new door for our new sun room. We have the opportunity to me one of the nice your men named Zain he think my husband for his military service after nothing his hat. We purchased the door and he help us get it on the the cart. Bought a picnic table online. When I came to pick it up they only had assembled tables. I needed to disassemble the table to get it in my vehicle. They would not help me with this, nor would they let me use a screw driver and adjustable wrench which I needed to take the table apart. I then had to buy the required tools. While I was taking the table apart, one of the staff asked me why I was removing screws from the table and asked me for my receipt. After I provided the receipt, they said okay and walked away. Once I had the table apart, a nice customer helped me load it in my truck as no one from the store offered. Just really terrible.

They could use more employees on the floor. The yard tool section is such a mass of confusion. It’s sorted by brand instead of by tool. I just needed a pole saw and could not find the one advertised. After asking 3 different employees, I found out they stopped keeping it in stock. I wanted something electric, but you have to buy the batteries separately in most cases. The great part about that is even if you stay with the same brand (like Ryobi), each tool takes a different battery, so I don’t see the point of grouping the brands together. They do have a great selection of items in the garden, but most items do not have prices. No one around to help find pricing or to load heavy items. I wanted one of the fire pits but there was not a single employee in sight. I ended up only buying a set of patio lights that almost caught two different outlets on fire, now I have to return those. I ended up having to buy the pole saw on Amazon to stay in my budget. Would it be completely out of reason to carry work gloves In ladies sizes? There were 30+ options for men and only one pair of gloves for women - garden gloves, of course. I need some heavy duty functional gloves for outdoor work. Please do better.

I ordered a Samsung washer and dryer frontloaders. Waited a month for delivery and when they arrived they were both smashed beyond acceptable. Not scratched, not dented, completely smashed in on the sides. I was disappointed but my disappointment rose when no one would even try to make it right. We were told it would be another 2 weeks before replacing.We canceled the order and will not be buying appliances from home depot any longer

I called this store on 9/2/21 to order a clawfoot bathtub. When I called to order I told them I have a dead line and their biggest competitor had let we sit for a week before telling me the tub I wanted would be backordered for another month. I called Home Depot, told them the story and about my deadline. On the date of order the person promised me she had checked, there was stock and that it would deliver on 9/16/21. On 9/9/21 I get an email that says my product has been backordered. That is a full week after I had been promised it was in stock. They are not even giving me a delivery date and saying if it isnt in by 10/8/21 they will cancel the order. This level of incompetence will keep me from returning to Home Depot.

Decent depot lot of employees blocking the isles. Tool section wasnt stocked well and the 1x8x10 primed was out of stock

The people there are very friendly and helpful. Couldn’t find one part I was looking for but it is to an old bed and will have to bought online somewhere. We have been very happy with our experience with Home Depot so far.

Individual employees were most helpful and friendly. We were also able to purchase several items we had been looking for. Upon inquiring about military discount, was told to show some type of a military ID at checkout, which means my husband always has to be with me for me to purchase@Home Depot....and since Lowes is the next light down, I can go shopping there with or without him. Even Ace lets me shop with his discount card.... If Momma aint happy, aint nobody happy.

Well, I stopped in to pick up an online order. One guy was in front of me. He took 1 minute then I was up. Mine took about a minute as well. Nothing to complain about here, it all went smoothly.

My husband and I came yesterday to look at flooring and cabinets. We were back and forth between buying from Lowe’s or Home Dept. but Cindy was so helpful. A good personality and willingness to help mean more to me than anything. We will be going with Home Dept. because of her customer service.

Terrible service it was close to closing and there was five or six employees standing next to the self-checkout all huddled up having a pow wow there was a line at self-checkout I proceeded to go to the register the lady had a chip on her shoulder or had a bad day one. Either way none of it was my fault so they could use some upbeat more professional employees

Ive never had a bad interaction with staff here. Im in and out of this location frequently and staff are always super helpful, and knowledgeable. The few times an employee did not have the info i sought, they admitted so and quickly found someone another employee who did!

Rented a ditch witch, got all the way home amd the darn thing wouldn’t stay running. Took it back and they swapped it out and extended out time to return to 2 today. Take it back at 12 today and they charged us for returning it late. Somebody didn’t adjust it in computer. Last time we go there.

Sold me a palm infested with spider mites then offered to treat it for me. Came back in for an update after not hearing from them for two weeks only to find that they had thrown it away. The head manager of the gardening department was incredibly patronizing- calling me little girl - and his idea of compensation was to just give me ANOTHER spider mite infested palm. It was the most demeaning experience Ive ever had.

Worst overall shopping experience every time I have a home improvement project I become a bit saddened because this home depot are not friendly. Their paint department are just rude not helpful and didnt guarantee their products. I will not shop here again .Lowes Home Improvement you just got a new CUSTOMER.

Went in this evening to purchase lawnmower blades that they showed to have 7 of in inventory and they didn’t have them. I spent some time looking for them and ask an employee that walked by and he said he would go get someone in that department. After 15 minutes of no one showing up and having to go ask the same person in the paint department to get someone twice, an employee that previously walked past without acknowledging I was there came to help and he just said inventory was off. Customer service was nonexistent and a complete lack of concern for the inventory. Very disappointed.

They dont carry much shelving and they were out of stock on what they did have. But clean big store

Couldnt find the solar power lighting batteries. In fact their employees had a heck of a time finding them. Stupid batteries are the same color as packaging. How about contrast in color so they are easier to spot on a shelf full of other boxes aisle 4 section 5.

I had to go to a different motion detector outside light fixture as they didnt have the bulbs for the one I bought. I dont know how they can sell the motion detector light and not have the bulb. That doesnt make sense. Nonetheless, the lady in the lighting department was a good help. I wish I could remember her name. The cashier was very sweet and polite. I believe her name was Barbara, but Im not sure. I did get a fixture that will work and again the lady in the lighting departmen took the time to explain the differences in the bulbs. She was a great help in explaining the differences of the light bulbs and I was very happy and appreciated her taking the time to explain everything to me. She showed great patience and was a pleasure to work with. Its been such a very long time that I had a pleasant experience with Home Depot. Kudos to both of the women.

Had to return a showerhead I bought that would not work correctly. Return went well and they refunded the money. Then bought some pine lumber and had trouble finding good boards. People were pleasant to work with.

Horrible experience!! Wish I could give 0 stars. I bought 2 garage floor epoxy paint kits on the same day to finish a basement floor. The colors did not match at all. Went to the store to see what could be done, I was ready and willing to re-paint the entire basement floor. Vincent was awesome, the epitome of customer service although the manager named Nathan would not help at all, he told me to call rust oleum because it was not Home Depot’s fault..... I guess from now on I need to purchase my product online from rust oleum because I surely will not ever shop at Home Depot again. Customer lost for life because they refused to help me with a $220 project.

My husband and I are business owners and do frequent electrical work. This location NEVER has even the most basic electrical components and parts we need in stock. They need a better merchandiser or better attention paid to stocking the shelves. Today, we stood in line for a while until the cashier was told to cut her light off. All the customers who had been waiting in line for a while were turned away. I blame nothing but corporate for this for starving their stores of the workers they need to run it properly. We will never return to this store again.

Home Depot workers may or may not be more knowledgeable than their Lowes counterparts, but one thing is certain, they are friendlier. At least at the Fort Oglethorpe location. Highly recommend over Lowes.

Bought 6 major appliances and was helped by a wonderful sales person namedA.V. Hernandez. She was very helpful in making our sale go very smoothly. She made sure we received every discount possible. She never pressured us in any way just made intelligent suggestions.

Had just what I needed.

They did tell me over the phone about a deposit. Charged me more when I brought equipment back. ( And it was returned on time). I got 2 papers before and after and both had different prices on it.

Fair pricing but the replacement bath tub faucets are in a strange place. Generally find whatever I need to buy but sometimes its in a weird place adjacent to where the signs say. Again, no big deal, but if you cant find what youre looking for, finding an associate is challenging during Covid. Be prepared for mild detective work.

Looking for fire brick. The website said they had them but there were not in store. Great store even during the Christmas rush.

A few good employees here, but good luck finding them. This is a poorly managed store. Very difficult to get out the door with lumber. Many of the tools are locked up and you can’t find anyone to unlock them to purchase! I am done buying from this location.

Home Depot is my favorite store. I used to go to Lowe’s but the staff could never be found. When you did find someone, they didn’t want to work.

I’ve been a frequent and loyal customer to Home Depot and this is without a doubt the worst location I’ve ever visited.The staff could not be bothered to help you, acting confused and insulted when asked a basic question about an online order. Their real quality shows during covid 19, as staff loudly complained that they had to stay home when testing POSITIVE within earshot of customers and VERY FEW were wearing masks properly, with most having theirs tucked under their chin. The layout of this one is pretty strange and unorganized as well.Buyer beware, and if you are concerned about covid - AVOID THIS LOCATION!

I dont know whats the deal with Home Depot. I had the same experience at the Gunbarrel location. I looked around for an associate to help get a table saw off a high shelf. Couldnt find one. I went for a walk to find one, and two associates were walking down the aisle towards me. I ask one if they could help me with the saw or help me contact someone who could. They didnt stop walking, but just said theyll call it in as they walked by me. So I went back to table saws. After waiting like 15 minutes, I see no one, so I go walking again. Cant find anyone. I wait in line at customer service a bit to ask if anyone called in for help. After like 5 minutes of being in line I was just frustrated and left.This Home Depot doesnt value customer service based on my experiences here, and neither does the one at Hamilton Place.I went to Lowes right next door, and within 5 minutes I had 3 seperate people ask if they could help me with anything. Thats how you run a business.

Home Depot is Home Depot. I feel like its all pretty universal. On my latest trip, customer service employee, Crystal, completely ignored me while they were pretty busy helping a lady with a large transaction, my opinion is that they could acknowledge my presence until they could help me. A man approached the counter while I was already there waiting and she chose to help him instead. That really irritated me, I hope to avoid her in the future.

Always have what Im looking for and at a great price.

The employee are nice and try to help if they can if you can find one of them. The employees also need better training on what they are selling in the department they are in. And Home Depot needs more trained employees.

Went to investigate recess lighting to replace some old light fixtures. Jerome helped us and showed me some flush mount lights that were much easier to put up and look very good. He took his time and answered all my questions. Great service.

We called and asked if they had a product made sure the guy new what we was talking about asked 3 times before making a 30 minute drive with a trailer.We get there and they have not had the product in about 3 months I asked to speak to the store manager the guy said he was with another customer I said I would wait he left came back told me he couldn’t talk to me he was tied up with a customer and again I said I’ll wait he either needs to compensate us for the time and gas or someone needs to be reprimanded for being too lazy to go check on products he said well he can’t talk to you I asked where he was he said at a desk with a customer in the flooring dept. So I walk straight there he was not there I had to ask someone else to speak to him he immediately had an attitude so I also got one he did not apologize until I said you have not even apologized for this and argued with me of corse and he said that he did have time I would have had to wait and I told him I offered twice and he said the guy did not tell him that and basically called me a liar and when I offered to confront the guy he threatened to call the cops on me and the person I am speaking about who I was told was the store manager was the assistant manager Nathan! Horrible customer service all the way around from every employee I dealt with they obviously have each others backs and not there for the customer I will be escalating this to corporate!
