Took the ID4 in yesterday to Bill White VW in Fort Smith, Arkansas. I needed the 10,000 mile service, two recalls, and an issue with the traffic warning lamp on the right not functioning. The vehicle was in the shop about 1.5 hours. When I received my invoice I was astounded that they actually rotated the tires!I called it to their attention and told them you do NOT rotate tires on an ID4 because the back tires are a different size than the fronts. They had NO idea what I was talking about, but they returned it to the shop and put them back like they were. It took them for ever because they could not get the low tire pressure light to go off.Finally the one thing I really wanted them to address was the faulty traffic warning lamp. The invoice said they ran a scan on the system and found nothing out of the ordinary - in other words they did not know how to fix it!

If you value your money, stay away from Bill Whites service department. They kept my Tiguan for months, never once initiated a call to me to let me know what was going on, did not provide a loaner vehicle or any apology for their mistakes, misdiagnosed the problem multiple times, ordered incorrect parts, quoted me one price to fix it, then raised it by more than $1500 when it was all said and done. I have never in all my life experienced such dishonest, incompetent, overpriced service. Now that its all fixed Ill be selling my VW as soon as I can. Theyve stolen from me for the last time.UPDATE: Look at that! Someone replied to my review with a very nice response within 20 minutes of it being posted! If only they had been that responsive during the multiple months they were trying to fix my car!Not accurate, but I will concede that I shouldnt call it stealing because it isnt. Its just incredibly overpriced bad service.

I recently purchased the owners car pre-owned through the dealership. While the experience was pleasant and helpful - once I had possession of the car any concerns I had have been dismissed, after repeated attempts to get a hold of the owner. Aftermarket modifications were not disclosed as was the need to service the vehicle - both safety issues that have yet to be addressed. Ive since filed a complaint with the BBB and have yet to hear any response. Buyer Beware!

I hate car shopping. I hate shopping in general. When it comes to cars, I am very picky. I dont normally show how picky I am about cars, but I am. I brought my husband and even told him to sit in the back seat. Hes 6 foot, so leg room in the back for kids is huge for us. I also never go in without some idea of what I am actually looking for since I dont like to waste time on something I wont even remotely come close to buying. The person I spoke was a salesman, yes, but he was very helpful and I didnt even have to prompt him about the back seat foot room or space for groceries or any of the other things I usually have to do at car lots. The salesman was knowledgeable about not only the car I bought, bit others I had been looking at as well.

Went in to get my oil changed only to be told my tires have dry rot. We just bought the car in March. Apparently there was some miscommunication of the tires not being good when we bought the car. We have had nothing but trouble dealing with Bill White v.w.We had trouble with it on the way home from buying.Bent rod in the motor.We took it back & they kept it a whole month .Until my husband thru a fit then they fixed it over night.As we speak its it the shop in another v.w.shop.Head liner completely fell down,the horn quit & the a/c was not cold.They are replacing the compressor.They tell me there is no such thing as bumper to bumper. Gave 3900 cash for a car ( 2011 Chevy Cruze) Dec 13,2019 . Less than a mile from the dealership the StabiliTrak service code along with engine light comes on. Car jerking call straight to dealership. (Less than 10 minutes of buying) basically told me to its on me. I wish there was a no star to give. Have tried for 2 wks to talk to GM. Salesman just lied as to reliability of car

We recently bought our 3rd car from Bill White and theres a reason we keep coming back. Weve known the crew there for years and theyve become our friends. They know what we like, know our needs work with us. I just bought a 2018 Atlas from Amos Skidmore in December. He had known I was looking at an Atlas for a year and two. A great deal came up and I shot him a text and he made it happen pretty easy. Weve always appreciated Michael and his team going above and beyond to help us out.

My husband and I bought two 2014 Diesal Passats on December 7, 2019. We did not finish with paperwork until closing time. When I drove off the lot I realized my radio did not work. When I called on Monday, December 9, 2019 to let them know I would be coming in that day to have it repaired I was told that I would have to schedule through maintaine . I was scheduled for Thursday, December 19, 2019. I am now being told I will have to have a new radio and it will have to be installed in January. I am beyond upset with this experience. I have had the car for about 2 weeks without a radio, no fault of my own, and wont have one for another month. This is not ok.

I have no idea how this place has the reviews it does. Its understaffed. Also after the sale thats it! They dont want to handle any problems you have with the car. My paint started flaking off and they made an excuse as to it being hit by something, its a month old!!! And its not even in a location where it would have been hit. They didnt physically look at it. They only looked at it through pictures and told me it wouldnt be covered by Volkswagen. They said they could touch it up but the paint is flaking from an area where the car panels meet, so it will probably keep happening. I also got the wrong owners manual in which I have yet to receive the right one. Buyer beware.

Bill White VW was by far the best car buying experience Ive ever had, the salesman Chris and the finance manager took my info and in less than 2 hours my family and I were driving off the lot in a brand new VW Atlas. These guys are first rate, no high pressure sales tactics, most transparent car dealership Ive ever had the pleasure of doing business with. I went to every car dealership between Poteau Ok to Ft Smith AR to Muskogee OK and these guys made it happen in just a few hours what Id been trying to accomplish for 2 weeks. I am very grateful to them for helping us get into exactly the vehicle we needed. I would recommend them to anyone who needs an honest clear cut experience which is something that is hard to come by in the auto sales industry. I just got a 2016 Jetta Sport and I couldnt be happier with the service, or price, I received! I came in late, near closing time, and was indecisive about what exactly I wanted. William, my salesman, was patient and knowledgeable and listened to what I wanted so we could find the perfect fit! The managers went above and beyond to give me a great number on my trade in and I am beyond thrilled after getting a couple (much) lower offers elsewhere. The staff stayed well past closing time for me and were friendly and helpful. I have definitely found a new dealership to do business with and I WILL be back next time! :)

My sons check engine light was on on his car brought it in there an hour later walked out with no check engine light and its one of the 2 year unlimited mileage warranty cars so only had to pay $54 some change to get it fixed

I am from New Hampshire and recently did a two month road trip in my 82 VW Vanagon. It was my first time in Arkansas. My exhaust broke in half, I did a band-aid, it broke again near Bill White Volkswagen. I slept just outside their parking lot (desperate times call for desperate measures), expecting that I would probably waste the entire day waiting for them to squeeze me in. That did not happen.The service department, run by Dave Parnell, went above and beyond for me. They brought the Van right it and I was able to explain to the tech outside what happened, how it was band-aided, and begged for a fix that would last longer than 750 miles. They worked with what I had done and made it better! I was more than happy to pay for their time and service, but Dave waved me off. Seriously??!!! He said it wasnt a big deal and to enjoy the rest of my trip.I was blown away by their kindness. They did not owe me anything. But they still got me in, fixed up, and on my way in a very short period of time. The fix lasted from the AR/OK border all the way up the Blue Ridge Parkway and into New Jersey. I was impressed. The exhaust popped out of the sleeve clamp they had installed, but thanks to that sleeve clamp, I was able to pop it back in and tighten it down to get back to NH. I did this 2-3 times and I have no complaints about that. They made it better and easier for me to repair on the fly.After reading Google reviews, it seems that Dave has been a huge asset to Bill White VW and has made a huge positive difference in their service department. Again, I do not know any of these people and do not live in the area. This review is based solely on my experience. Well done, Bill White, on hiring Dave. I wish our local VW dealer back home would do something about their lying, cheating service manager who everyone hates. We could use a Dave Parnell here!

My wife and I knew we wanted an Atlas after doing some research and we went to NWA thinking we could get a better deal. Boy were we wrong. Our salesmen Amos at Bill White VW got us a better deal on a more high end Atlas than NWA could even think about getting us. We love the Atlas and are so glad we bought local.

The service department is the very worst, the service manager is rude, condescending, uninformed and should absolutely not be in a customer service position. Besides trying to intimidate me into paying for a service that was covered under warranty, but told me he had alignments on special for $69.99 when the first thing that pops up on their FB page was s alignments for $39.99 - he continued his condescending comments to other customers that came in, and then mocked and made gestures after they left. This guy is customer service poison.** Bill White - while I waited for my vehicle, the service manager said several times that he couldn’t handle this job anymore, he was stressed out, he got no respect and all the service technicians were new and had no idea what was going on - help the guy out and get rid of him - he is dragging you guys to under.I would like to say that thankfully Michael Justice stepped up and straightened things out. I had zero issues with sales- they were great.

I had done the online pre qualify thing yesterday and decided to come in today to talk in person. They knew I didnt have the best credit, what my payments could be, everything. I wanted just something cheap and reliable. The sales lady even said if this doesnt work out, we always have something else cheaper to look at. I guess she had something picked out for me. The weird thing was its like somebody kept telling her what to show me. She would say she had something, walk away, come back and say well that one wont work. Long story short the only car I could get into was a $15,500 car. Thats nowhere near what I could afford. I couldnt qualify for anything cheaper. Makes no sense. Im young so insurance alone on a $15,000 car was expensive. They kept trying to talk me into it and moving numbers around but it just wasnt happening. I wanted a $4,000-$6,000 car (Which they have but I didnt qualify for???) that I could pay off quick, build credit and have a decent car. Not some $16,000 car I couldnt afford and always be broke over. Felt like I was being screwed with. And theyd only pay half the sales tax so Id have a big payment, big insurance payment AND figure out how to get $600 in a couple weeks. Oh, and they ran my credit EIGHT TIMES. Thanks for that. said I was going home for paperwork and didnt go back.Everyone was really nice though. Ill give them that. I never got any attitudes or judgement. I just dont understand how they work. I know for a FACT if I qualified for a $15,000 car they couldve put me in something cheaper. That is bull sales tactics. Ill take my money else where.
