Our search for the perfect coffee driving from DC to LA may have been won so far by Barista Colin at the Fort Smith Coffee Co . In a charmingly open air renovated gas station, they provided excellent breakfast sandwiches and a great latte and Americano . (Do taste the jelly served it does complement the sandwich.) A variety of home baked goods were available for those with a sweet tooth and we left clutching a bag of coffee beans they kindly ground for us. Bravo for affable Staff !
Best cup of coffee in town. Hands down. They have a lot of other great things too. Cool artwork and a great atmosphere.
Glad to see this place busy and making it despite the pandemic. What makes this place great IMO is the place and ambiance, used to be an old tire/oil/gas station in the old days. Like the decor and use of old stuff. Due to pandemic (again) they don’t have the usual table games out for people to use, only thing knocking one star in the review is the little lack of more options when it comes to pastries and such.
I’ve been going to FSCC for awhile now, but I rushed over on my lunch break to get a pick me up, and it was so good! I think the cashier was new, but he was kind and made sure to get my order correct. The employees were having such a good time too it just made me enjoy my experience more. Also, this is probably the best iced breve vanilla latte I’ve had in a MINUTE. So, to the trio over at Coffee Co. today thank you! (I’m pretty sure the girl who made my latte had long brown hair. Please tell her thank you for me!!)
Very good place to grab a quick bite and a smooth drink. Their specialty is coffee but this also includes espresso, cold brew, and tea. Anyway you like it, they can serve it up. Located in a historic building, the charm of old can brighten up your day with big windows and tasty smells.
Love their baristas personalities. They partner with Union for fundraising! Support local
A gorgeous spot for an afternoon pick me up. Were sipping frozen lattes and oat milk cappuccinos in front of a large picture window, enjoying the breeze and the fabulous nibbles.Everything weve tasted has been phenomenal. The mocha toffee muffin was phenomenal- decadent and rich without being overly sweet. And, O!, the raspberry shortbread cookie was seriously the tastiest cookie weve ever had. Lemon blueberry score was moist and crumbly. Dont be deterred by the simplicity of the toast with honey and butter. This was the best of all- a lovely, chewy artisan sourdough bread perfectly complimented by local honey.
Definitely one of the better coffee houses I have been to. I love the aesthetics of the place. Vintage and peaceful atmosphere. Perfect for a study session, date, or anything like that. Highly recommend.
What an gem! Loved the goat cheese toast, will come back for breakfast tomorrow! Best food by far after being a week in Arkansas.
Nice coffee shop with ample seating.I ordered a vanilla chai that was good, but over priced and not well mixed. They have a seasonal butterbeer latte I tried as well. I got the butterbeer latte without espresso and it was DELIGHTFUL. It seemed reasonably priced and I highly recommend trying that when its in season. The staff was hardworking but not overly friendly. And the quiche...! Yum. Get the quiche.
I just loved it, the staff could be a little more engaging/ enthusiastic...Its a great place, will go back.Artistic Bean is better though, 🤪😄😃 if I were asked to compare between the 2
Best coffee in town!! Such a nice little place. It reminds me of a small college town Cafe. People there are so amazing.
They offer a variety of coffee and non-coffee drinks, as well as a few food items made fresh daily. The walls are decorated with work from a local artist. It does tend to get crowded at times.
Laid back place in an old garage building. Very cool vibe and they have a lot of local options (beer, food, coffee). A great place to stop by at any time of the day!
Good food and coffee. A little pricey, and coffees dont come in large.
Great coffee, good food, and friendly staff! Highly recommend giving money to local coffee shops such as this then chains such as 5 bucks.
Amazing atmosphere, super friendly staff and excellent coffee. The iced toffee pecan latte is a must to try
Very nice airy tables for relaxing, talking and, of course, enjoying great coffee. The music was tasteful and just the right volume to enhance the conversation. The staff was attentive, skilled and very friendly. Did I mention great coffer and cappuccino? They both surpassed our expectations.
Coffee is great. Wish they would add more plant based menu items in their food category.
Great food and coffee and very pleasant staff.
If you’re looking for a fantastic cup of coffee, and enjoy waiting an eternity to get it, this is your place. I’m not saying the guy making the coffee was stoned, but the only other people I’ve ever seen move that slowly were high. Run like you’re being chased, man. Anyway, the coffee isn’t bad.
I visited this location today. The workers here are very nice and informative. There are quite of few choices on the menu. I decided on the spiced chai latte and frozen mocha. The manager on duty, Colin, provided to me, a menu for my future curbside pickup. I plan on going back soon!!
Very cool place! They have art from local artists, which is pretty cool. The staff is very friendly!
Best coffee I’ve had so far. The atmosphere is wonderful, the barista was friendly and the coffee was like heaven in a cup! This will be my go-to when we visit Ft. Smith in the future!
First off, you should know, this is not Starbucks. They are not designed to get you in and get you out quick. Their process of making your desired coffee drink takes time. It’s worth the wait but you need known going in, it’s not a quick process. The decor is very inviting and it’s a great place to enjoy a coffee. The food selection, while limited, is very good. The quiche always goes quickly on the weekend. If beer is your fancy, they got it. Locally brewed. It’s a nice touch. If you’ve got the time to sit, talk and enjoy your coffee, this is the place for you.
Great coffee, great people, great food, great service! Forget the chain, the roast here is 100 times better and the people making care about their products!
It’s alright. I tried to talk to a worker about my complaint and she walked off to go to the register. I understand guests are important, but so is the guest that’s trying to let you know their issue.
I loved everything about this place. The hours, the coffee, the food, the atmosphere, the prices, and the staff is super friendly. It will be my go to when Im in Fort Smith.
I was so excited to try this place. I’ve heard great things. I ordered a large dark roast coffee. Unfortunately they don’t have dark roast. In fact, they only had ONE kind of coffee. No variety whatsoever and it’s all brewed in bulk. Unless you drink fancy sugar drinks, I would not recommend this place for coffee. The atmosphere is really neat. Love the building. The breakfast sandwich we had was very delicious. And, regardless of the fact that it wasn’t what I wanted, the coffee was good too.
Nice place and great coffee 👍🏻
Great service and superb coffee. They need an 8 oz. To go as well.
The coffee was very good, as well as the snacks. I really enjoyed the open garage door in the wall, made the place feel very cozy.
Little gem in and otherwise uninspiring town. Very industrial looking. In an old firehouse. But the quality of the coffee and food is top notch. Lots of seating. Good music playing from their Sonos. No heat, but lots of windows and light. They have ac ducts for the summer it seems. Good customer service and they have a couple beers on tap.
The coffee was really good!! Honestly the staff was so kind!! The girl working there was so sweet and helpful. I enjoyed talking with her about her passion for coffee, and all the exciting training coming up for their staff. It was a pit stop on a long road trip. So convenient to get to, and such a great experience. Best of luck to you all!!!
Love their espresso and nitro brew! Awesome retro decor and nice vibe.
Cute atmosphere. Loved the local art everywhere!!Im not a coffee expert but I got a shirt and a nice mug!!
Made a stop here on a hiking trip through NW Arkansas on the way home, and this was the best food and drinks on the entire trip. Well worth stopping by. Cafe mocha, vanilla latte and the best sandwich made our trip home much better!
Great coffee and good art. Food was worth price on the road. Will make a point to get off freeway to stop here next time Im in Arkansas.
This is my absolute favorite coffee shop! The coffees are consistently amazing, and the people are super friendly and welcoming. Their chocolate crackle cookies are to die for, too.
Lovely deco and friendly. Coffee is okay.
Great service w a very hip environment!!
We ordered two hot lattes with sugar free vanilla. They had to be thrown out. They were luke warm and ALL we could taste was vanilla syrup. It was pretty bad. Based on other reviews this is probably not common but it happened. A waste of a trip off the interstate and 10 bucks plus tip.
Great atmosphere. Good coffee and scones.
Stopped here on our way thru town and had some great coffee and breakfast. Nice, varied selection of coffee drinks with a small collection of light breakfast options. Barista was nice and helpful while figuring out what to order.I had the nitro cold brew, which I ended up loving. My wife had the lavender flavored iced coffee which she loved! We tried the turkey and swiss quiche, which was just okay. We also had goat cheese and bruschetta toast which was amazing as well as one if the scones, which was tasty too. The food was made fresh so it did take a little while to come out. But they were pretty busy too.The ambiance was great and the building itself was really cool. You can see some of the local murals in the area from inside also. Great place to stop to get your morning coffee and breakfast fix!
This is the perfect addition to downtown Fort Smith. The building was beautifully restored into a very hip and fun coffee shop. Definitely “One of a Kind” I love the decorations and local art. They also have great events such as movie nights and live music. A great place to hang out or work on a project. The coffee and homemade pastries are delicious. My only recommendation would be to invent some custom coffee drinks (could even give them Fort Smith type names i.e the Garrison, Rogers Ave, Bass, Darby, etc.). I know I can make my own concoction with the list of homemade syrups but sometimes I just want to try something new and different without much effort. Just an idea!
My wife and I stopped there for some coffee during our road trip and were extremely satisfied with the quality and taste. We got one latte and one cappuccino and they were both delicious. Very friendly staff and very clean place.
Cool place, great coffee. Glad to have stopped in while passing through
Great coffee. Lovely aesthetic. Friendly staff. Clean restrooms. Loved the Butterbeer Coffee and The Count sandwich - but you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu! Went out of our way to stop here twice!
Outstanding coffee!!! Great service and atmosphere
Cool place and nice coffee.
Was not impressed. Coffee was not fresh and was too expensive for black coffee.
Wow! What a gem of a coffee shop. From the expertly poured doppio to my partners perfectly balanced sweet but not diabetes causing white caramel mocha, Fort Smith Coffee Co. really knows how to please even the pickiest of coffee snobs! House made syrups, fresh and locally sourced ingredients really shows you the care and pride they have in their community. The rustic decor draws you in and makes you feel like youve walked into home. Be sure to try one of their rotating breakfast specials, the Mediterranean Crepe was a great deal at less than 8 bucks and was more than enough to satisfy the two of us. Fort Smith Coffee Co. is a must to anybody looking for great coffee, delicious food, and a warm and welcoming atmosphere!
Love there coffee
Awesome coffee and staff. I have loved all the roasts I have brought home and their in house brews are great too! Thanks for hanging in there during the pandemic.
Man oh man! I dont normally eat coffeehouse sandwiches, but their signature sandwiches were delicious and their coffee was rich with flavor. Didnt taste cheap at all.
I love that I can just tell them I want something sweet, hot, and kinda low carb and they present the most amazing drink ❤️
I tried the drive through and got a scone and an oat milk cappuccino. The scone just tasted like baking soda (or powder) which was really disappointing. The coffee for my preference is on the bitter side. It looks adorable from the outside, whoever does the decorating is incredible. The staff was also awesome, pleasant and fun to order from.
Best Michael I ever had. Great place and friendly staff!!
Best of the best without the drive from downtown.
Fantastic drinks and breakfast. The Goat cheese toast was amazing. Even better was the customer service. You can tell they appreciate their customers and quality of product.
Love the house roasted beans and house made syrups 💕
Awesome frozen lattes and personable staff!
Very positive vibes from the employees here.
Clean place with exceptional service! coffee was average
Love the atmosphere here and they have great coffees with in-house syrups. They have seasonal flavors that are super good too
Great coffee and a friendly staff! Sultry Green was delicious as well.
