Been going to this store for years. The owner is always pleasant to be around. You can strike up a conversation with him, and he really listens. The stores inventory of books, cards, and memorabilia is second to none. If you cant find it at HawgHead, then you probably cant find it anywhere.

Mike has always been a very knowledgeable individual who cares deeply about the products. He is professional, but still able to build and maintain relationships with each and every customer that enters the store. All this while keeping his shelves stocked and the newest product available for anybody who comes by.

There is something special about purchasing your first comic at a comic book store. Thankfully I was able to share this experience with my little brother, and now he’s hooked. Hawghead comics has a family friendly environment and has a great selection for all ages!

Great place to get your comic,mtg, pokemon, or other collectables. Service is awsome and the staff very helpful. Highly recommend. Have great new stock of items as well as a huge inventory of back issues and past card sets.

I live over an hour away from HawgHead Comics, so I don’t get to drop in as much as I like. Even so, it’s the physically closest such shop to me. I appreciate how it has endured and continues serving the area as so many similar shops have closed over the years. Always friendly, and I usually always find something to buy when I pop in.

Ive been going to the shop for the better part of the last two decades. When I was little it was THE place to crack pokemon packs. As Ive grown and my interests has changed it seems like the store has anticipated those changes and caters to my liking. Great selection of back issues. A gigantic library of very well organized mtg cards. And the lowest priced packs should cracking be on your agenda. For me the store takes me back to better times when all i had to worry about was if i was going to open a Charizard or not. You cant put a price on that. Its a great store and to many a pillar of the community ran by a stand up dude who will take care of whatever you need.

Ever since 2006 when I was just a faceless name over the phone requesting holds on comics while I was deployed for the Army to now (2021), Mike and everyone else at the Shop have never failed to deliver dependable, expedient, kind and knowledgeable help on anything needed.

One of my favorite local businesses in Fort Smith! My husband could (and does) spend hours pouring over the Magic cards here. Ive had a comic subscription through HawgHead for about a year, too!

Been shopping with Mike for over 20 years now and always had a great experience. Anytime I travel back to Fort Smith, I try to stop by and support the store. Highly recommended!

The gentleman the owns this store is a rare gem. My friend and I come in once a month for magic cards, and have a blast. I always get so much more for my money. Would and do highly recommend this store to my gaming friends!

Have stopped in here quite a few times with a friend and this is most definitely one of the better comic shops in Arkansas. Mike, the owner is friendly and extremely knowledgeable. He is opinionated, but so am I and I personally like this trait in people. He has a decent selection of comics that could be larger, (more indies would be nice), but he does have a really amazing subscription program and will order anything you want, he will even ship them to you if you live out of town. Overall a great comic experience.

Mike has the best Magic prices in the area, a wide selection of competitively priced singles, lots of storage options and gear available, tons of great comic geek merchandise, and oh, he even sells comics. His tournaments are organized, the gaming spaces are well lit, and the bathroom is always clean. There is a reason this place has been around so long, so do yourself a favor and stop in, say hey to Mike, and take a look around, because Im certain you will be glad you did.
