I have been trying to get a wheelchair since January 15th and it is now Feb 4th and have not gotten any response from delta medical as to if they received the request from the Dr (which i know they did) or when I can come and pick up my chair, I have talked to the answering service or their answering machine (which is the only way to contact them) at least 9 times and still no response, my next step is to call my Dr and request they try someone else because this company is horribleUPDATE....still no chair as of 2/19 stopped by 2/14 called them from parking lot and was told they (Crystal) needed more from dr that i couldnt use cane or walker before they would send it to my insurance because she knew it wouldnt be approved without it...didnt matter that I got a wheelchair 5 yrs ago or a lift to get me in and out of bed from my insurance they still needed that so called the dr and they said they already sent it but of course delta med said they never got it but when they did theyd bring it over, still nothing....dont you think my insurance knows my medical needs better then Delta Medical, Im tired of sitting on the medal bar because seat is so worn and having the chair move as Im being lifted onto it because my feet bump it because the brakes are so worn...fed upupdate...after they heard from insurance company that no authorization was needed I finely received a wheelchair and they were very helpful at getting correct kind and size
They were extremely helpful. A family member of mine was just put on oxygen. The lady (I can’t remember her name) not only told me about the equipment, but gave me hands-on training on how to detect the piece, to transfer to another tank. Great experience!!!
I have used them for over a year. For my cpap supply needs. I have had nothing but trouble with them. Not getting supplies when needed and lack of answers when I call. I have had to use same mask for way too long. Up for new suff end of December first of January. I Talked to some one in January then again in February still waiting this is the 3 time stuff ñot shipped. I feel I made a big mistake choosing them for my need.
Everyone is very friendly, and when I go in there they are always helpful and never having to wait. And they have great prices.
As a medical professional I work with DME companies very frequently. The margins are tough and the demands can be great. As companies enlarge these issues become more apparent. My review reflects the fact that Delta can be inconsistent with their follow through and they can be inauthentically apologetic about their mistakes.
I highly recommend Delta Medical Supply for your durable medical equipment needs. After my 94 year-old father fell u0026 broke 2 ribs u0026 his kneecap, I took him to the ER. The ER doctor said that he had to have a wheelchair. The 1st place I called was of no help at all. The 2nd place I called was Delta Medical Supply, u0026 they WERE very very helpful u0026 supportive! Katie worked with me to let me know what all they would need (due to the bureaucratic Medicare rules) in order to provide him with a wheelchair in the home. Although I had some driving back-and-forth between the ER u0026 their office, I was finally able to get Delta everything they needed to get the wheelchair. Even though this all finally came together at the very end of the day, 5:00 pm, Katie u0026 Mark at Delta came through for us!! Katie got the paperwork sent through u0026 Mark delivered the wheelchair to my parents home, even though it was after-hours. Mark even returned to the Delta office to bring us things that he did not realize we needed to make the wheelchair work well for him. Delta Medical definitely went beyond the call of duty to get my father set-up! They are GREAT!

There knowledge for what a person need is great.There billing department is AWFUL. My advice is to review your Insurance EOBs and your bills. My insurance was overbilled by months once my equipment was paid off and they continued to bill me. Review you EOB monthly.
Theyre the best. They want to help and not just get you the most expensive equipment out there. Theyre fast and professional.
This place doesnt know what they are doing. What a fiasco. They sold us a $169 LEFT boot for my sons healing broken RIGHT leg. Now I get to go back and wait another 2 hours for them to tell me they have to order a cast that will take a few weeks. No bueno. Go somewhere else.
