A friend recommended Maples Market to me and boy am I glad I gave them a try! Their prices on produce and dairy are phenomenal. The store is clean, well lit, and organized. The employees are very kind and quick to help. Ill definitely be coming back to Maples Market.

Was a great local market. With great deals on seafood and local area goodies. Today was their last day to be opened. We will miss shopping there.

Its true what they say, when offered good, fast, and cheap, you can only pick two. While its cheap and small, when I walked inside, I was bombarded by the smell of rotten food. Maybe theyre having fridge problems I said to myself, giving them the benefit of the doubt. I then had to swat flies away from the potatoes I was going to purchase that all had little legs growing on them. Thats 3 strikes, and I was out of the store in less than 2 minutes without making a purchase nor with the idea to try them again another day. I went to Publix instead, the extra money is worth losing the risk of food poisoning

For this to be a fresh produce place I was not happy what I saw. I called ahead wanting peaches and the guy assured me they had fresh California peaches. When I get to the store they where all spoiled and had flies and gnats all over them with holes. I was disgusted and left.

To start, Maples is the only locally owned, operated, and sourced fully functioning grocery store in the area. My household frequents this location for the best produce, cheese, meats including tenderloin, new york strip, and occasionally Tomahawk steak, frozen goods like veggies, breaded goods for frying, cakes and pies, and FISH!! Many kinds you cant find in other stores including whole flounder, trigger fish, oysters single and by the dozen, tuna, scallops, catfish, and many more. Every season brings new amazing goods at amazing prices. A friendly, helpful, smiling staff is always available and able to assist and a great conversation is waiting at the checkout counter. Seasonal crawfish and shrimp boils have us coming for Saturday lunch and they have delicious boiled peanuts in cajun and regular flavors. An all-around one-stop-shop for groceries, with fresh meats, seafoods, and produce coming in from only miles away. Maples Market is the best grocery store in the FWB area.

First and last time going to this place. Some good produce, although the fresh shrimp was absolutely disgusting and inedible when I opened the bag. Smells rotten, was just a waste of time and money.

I go several times a week to pick up fresh produce. Staff is very friendly, there is a large selection to choose from. No complaints at all. Give them a try if you haven’t yet.

This “find” was so pleasant. They have a variety of fresh produce and seafoods. They will even cook the seafood for you if desired. The only reason for a fisherman to go out to fish is for the fun of it. It is very cost effective compared to our local Walmart. I hope they do well!

Loved the selection of fresh produce and refrigerated items. Some of the produce is very ripe but priced perfectly!

The worst crawfishs I ever had, frozen crawfish, the meats are so mushy, over cooked and over charged, $4.99 a lbs? that’s cheated. I asked for 10 lbs and they gave me close to 15 lbs. $4.99 x 15 lbs= less than $75 but they charged me $77.28 plus tax. called back and they said it’s how it changed, lol

Everything you can want or need in a produce place they have boiled peanuts that are perfect so many great deal on fruits and vegetables and the steamed shrimp were excellent

My visit to Maples Market was fraught with disappointment. Upon entering the market, I was hit with a noticeable odor. At first I chalked this up to the old building. However, as I browsed the market, I saw several instances of rotten produce. A cooler filled with cauliflower that was more black than white, oranges that were consumed by white, fuzzy mold, and packages of kumquats that were in the same, sorry state. Much of the other produce, while not in quite as bad of shape, was hardly the quality and freshness I would expect from a market whose primary purpose is to provide fresh produce.I was not actively looking for rotten produce. I was simply browsing the market and they were easily spotted. The items in question were so far gone that I find it hard to believe that nobody else noticed. Im wondering if the produce is rotated or even checked on at all.I hate to give Maples Market such a bad review. I love the concept. The other reviews are generally favorable. However, from what Ive seen, I doubt Ill be back.
