Great spot for unique sweets and gifts! I ordered the Mothers day high tea set online and tried a couple cup cakes and butter beers when we picked it up. Everything was delicious and fresh!

My husband and I went here as a date night dessert and we LOVED it. I can’t have dairy and they had a vegan ice cream option. It was very good. It is quite pricey for the little that you get but it’s good quality, homemade desserts! They also had board/card games for those who choose to play and an arcade machine(free of charge) very fun, unique experience!

I had not been to Sweets so Geek in a long time, and it was really good. I ordered the Droid Tracks pie (chocolate and peanut butter, basically) and my niece got Superman ice cream (check the menu, I dont remember what flavors are involved). She loved hers and I thought that mine was good, not great (the chocolate layer was too thick, which doesnt sound like it should be a bad thing, but it didnt work for me). I will definitely return to try some more of their original creations! Fun names, good flavors and a local business (unlike other bakeries I could name).

Made a wedding cake for our daughters wedding. Cake was leaning significantly when we arrived at the reception venue and a few of the flowers were falling off. We called them and Chad came to fix it. He reinforced the cake but it was still a little off and he used his bare hands to smooth the icing over! Beyond that, some of the cake layers tasted dry. He had an attitude and was rude. He never apologized nor made any offer to provide any type of adjustment to the bill, even when questioned. Would never use them again or recommend them.

The store is so cool, clean and smells so amazing! The people working are super friendly and the food is amazing!! Definitely recommend!!

Sweets So Geek recently created a custom wedding cake for my husband and I and we were both blown away! Chad took my vision from some poorly photoshopped images I threw together to create a half normal and half Batman wedding cake. It was EXACTLY how we envisioned and of course the actual cake itself was delicious as usual! Thank you so much 🙂

Been here about a dozen times. Always awesome. Prices are great, portions are the right size, dough is fluffy, cakes are dense yet moist. Ice cream is super creamy.

Absolutely, 100% thrilled, and blown away with our cake. You won’t be disappointed. The cake was a huge hit at our party and got a lot of compliments on not only the visual appeal, but the taste as well. We will be back as always.Now onto the remainder of the food. The scones are delicious, the chocolates melt in your mouth, and I could drink a gallon of the butter beer. Did I mention the butter beer??!Great atmosphere with friendly staff who always treat you right, EVERY single time. Will be back :)

I have loved the desserts from this place for years now but had never had cakes from them until yesterday at my nieces gender reveal party. Everyone loved the design even her dad said it was the nicest cake hed ever seen in his life! We got the chocolate exploitation and it was amazing everyone loved it. Thank you Sweets So Geek for helping me make her and her boyfriends reveal extra special! I will definitely be coming back to order her baby shower cake!

My daughters wedding cake was a disappointment.According to my daughter and her husband, the design did not match the vision that was discussed with the owner. The finished product left my daughter in tears because it was not at all what they were expecting. The cake was not even close to the quality of the images she was shown as past work that had be done. The cakes texture was dry and unedible. Other than the bites the couple shared and my tasting, the cake was not served and thrown away that night.I made an attempt to offer constructive feedback to the owner Chad. I found him to be arrogant and unwilling to listen to customer concerns. Every point discussed was someone elses problem, not his. As with other reviews, I am sure he will have a lot to say as to why the customer is never right. Chad was quick to point out that my opinion didnt matter because I did not help in the planning of the cake but what he neglects to realize is that every person who attended Freddie and Haileys wedding were customers and he missed an opportunity to give them an experience of what his company could do for them.

Super cute shop with tons of yummy desserts and treats! The staffs super friendly, the treats all have cute themes and shapes from different fandoms, and everything tastes super good!

We had a rustic Beauty and the Beast Wedding in our backyard recently. COVID kept pushing back our date and Chad at Sweets So Geek was flexible, responsive, and really listened to our ideas, while adding his own. The cake was simple but detailed, fresh, on time, and beautiful. We would absolutely recommend this shop for personal treats, cakes, and more!

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! We selected Sweet So Geek for our wedding cake and it couldn’t have been a better decision. Everything from the consultation to the delivery of the cake on our wedding day went perfectly. Our cake was incredible. Esthetically, the cake was exactly what we asked for. We received compliments from all of our guests about how delicious our cake was. We selected 3 different flavors as well as two flavors of cupcakes. We spent a reasonable amount for our cake and cupcakes, especially considering the fine quality of product we received. If you are looking for an INCREDIBLE geek themed cake, Sweet So Geek is the way to go!! My husband and I did cake tastings and got quotes all over the area, and you won’t find a better quality, company, or price for the services you will receive from them! Highly recommend! 10/10!

Extremely bad product and customer service. Purchased a birthday cake. Frosting had the taste and consistency of greasy butter spread, bland and not sweet at all. We even brought the cake back to the shop for them to taste the frosting for themselves. They refused to taste it and said he stands behind his frosting. Nothing he could do about it. If you wont taste your own product, how can you sell it to the public and say it is good. Just a bad experience all around. They just did not care at all.

Very friendly and the ice cream was delicious! Highly recommend the espresso explosion for a mid afternoon snack!

This place is so awsome, I tried the central perk chocolate, with a churro bowl with this coffee ice cream. It is so bomb! I love the establishment. The vibe. Its everything. Ahhh I cant wait to go back!!

We ordered hot cocoa bombs from Sweets So Geek. The kids were excited to try them on Christmas morning. I attached a photo of how the hot cocoa bomb looked. It bubbled for a couple of seconds then nothing happened. It looked disgusting! I tried a sip and it tasted worst than it looked!! The kids were very disappointed. Sweets So Geek almost ruined Christmas. Ill never do business with Sweets So Geek ever again due to their poor quality!

Super tasty, really nice people. Ice cream, chocolate, some materialist extras. And complete with an ice cream challenge! Im an out-of-town person and this made my visit to Fort Wayne absolutely perfect.

Horrible customer service from the manager!!!My daughter went to pick up an overpriced two-tiered cake for my wifes birthday. The cake was presented to my daughter in a flimsy donut box too shallow for the lid to close. The cake already had some damage to it from the lid touching the side before she even picked it up. Upon taking the cake out to her car, with no instructions on how to transport it, she did not even reach the end of the parking lot before the cake began to slide and touch the inside of the box lid damaging it beyond repair. She called me to ask what to do. I said to wait in the lot until I arrive in 30 minutes for me to drive across town. Together we would go in the cake shop to see if anything could be done. What a waste of time. The manager would not take any responsibility for his failure to provide any safe travel of the cake, would not offer an alternative solution, or even a partial refund. He only kept repeating over and over that I signed a contract which stated that once the cake leaves the store, he is not responsible.Well Mr. Manager, as we explained in your shop, how about providing a box the cake can fit in? The very least you could have done is offer a apology. A partial refund would have been nice too and saved you a future customer with us too. I will be sure to tell all my family and friends who not go to if they need a special cake made.

Love everything about this place!!! They knocked it out of the park with our wedding cake, the treats are always delicious, and the employees are always so welcoming!The movie nights in the summer and other events throughout the year are great for the community. I have thoroughly enjoyed every trip I’ve made to this wonderful establishment!

Sweets so Geek went above and beyond. I’ve never been a fan of cake (I’m more of an ice cream person) but not only did they deliver an amazing looking cake, but it tasted good too! Our family and friends were impressed too. Thank you!!

This place is so cool! I never knew I wanted this to exist. Perfect location, and despite how Georgetown looks outdated, the exterior is in great condition and looks fantastic. Can’t wait to hang out here with my friends and siblings!

I Googled, ice cream near me and this place popped up. Its almost 90 today and I wanted a little cold treat. What a neat find! The dark chocolate ice cream is rich, creamy and tastes like good, hard, not soft-serve, ice cream should taste. Well done! Staff was super friendly and the music they had playing in back was perfect. Ill be back. :)

I worked closely with Chad and Heather this past summer. I got to know them on both a personal and business level. They are awesome humans and run a community driven business model that benefits the public and surrounding establishments, especially on movie nights! My son is a HUGE fan of their freshly made cinammon roles. If you need a custom cake or any confectionary, Sweets So Geek is undoubtedly the place to call.

We bought a pint of chips ahoy because we liked the sample we got off it. It turns out we ended up with the bottom of the barrell and got freezer burnt/hard crystal ice cream. Very disappointing.It would have tasted great if it had been fresh. Im still shocked they sold it to us!Also the video game system is broken.

Nice walk from the colleges and schools. Well worth the trip. I wanted to try everything but this time it was just ice cream. Amazingly rich and definitely chocolatey. I will be back.

They are quick, as they got a family members order done in less than 24 hours. She brought them to our workplace, and they weren’t very popular. I feel they are overpriced and the quality doesn’t match. The icing was very thick, and the cake was too dense. We tried different flavors. Each cupcake is $3, and there is no break for ordering in larger quantities.

This is an awesome local business! The owners are very friendly. Not only do they offer some delicious specially made chocolates they also have other items for sale including hand made hats/figures and board games. This is a must visit place if youre in Fort Wayne and have an affinity for any type of Geek culture. Everything ranging from Star Wars to Harry Potter theyve got something for everyone.

An excellent selection of handmade candies, all with fun themes. The staff is friendly and helped me pick out things I really enjoyed. Also, they have a dessert menu that changes every couple weeks and never fails to delight. The key lime cheesecake was the best Ive ever tasted.

This shop is highly specialized and more about the experience then getting a sweet tooth fix. The prices are really really high even compared to the other bakeries around town, even for novelty sweets and fresh baked goods, so be ready for some sticker shock. Still, the quirky interior and one-of-a-kind finds make it a great stop on a road trip or place to pick up something special for the geek. Even the bathroom is decorated in a cute star wars theme. They have some events and film screenings too though I havent attended any of those. The staff we met was friendly and excited and very helpful explaining all they had for sale.

Staff very courteous. Had peach ice cream. Not what I expected and a bit pricey. $ 8.02. One soup ice cream and a vanilla shake. Some desserts seemed interesting but were sold out. I will try it again

We requested a unique cake for our wedding and they delivered above and beyond our expectations. Each tier was a different video game we played. We had many impressed guests. The cake was as delicious as it looked as well!

I love this local candy shop. They offer delicious candies and desserts that come with a really great experience. Bringing my son here is an opportunity for us to share his current interests and my nostalgia from childhood. They also play host to a variety of fun family friendly events. They are a gem in the N. Anthony neighborhood.

Don’t waste your time. Go to Walmart or Dairy Queen. He can try to defend himself all he wants. The refund or “gift card” would make me no difference at all. The cake was horrible. Pretty bad when the kids won’t even eat it.

Sweets So Geek has GREAT homemade ice cream, enthusiastic staff, and hilarious products. The smores kits are also especially good, and hanging out/playing games is encouraged. A fantastic place.

Absolutely lovely people with a keen eye for geekery. No posturing or pandering. People sharing their love for the nerdy with the world. Whenever Ive posted pictures of chocolates from this place, Ive had friends from as far as Montana ask me how I could get them some. Coming from a family of Trekkies, its a joy to have something so unique to mail to them for Christmas.

I was excited when I first heard of this confectionery shop opening in Fort Wayne. It promised service to the now mainstream nerd/geek subculture, which makes up a good portion of my interests. Upon my first visit, I realized I was going to be sorely disappointed.* Over priced goods because of their overhead costs. Expected from a struggling small business, but the sweets quality are mediocre at best compared to the high price.* Poor service, planning, and stock management. Every event Ive been to here results in chaos from poor planning. Ive visited multiple times and essentially had my choices of their selection whittled down to maybe three things. Ive received chippy, rude, abrasive service from edgy/angsty college kids at the cash register on more than one occasion.* The community Ive seen revolve around this location tends to be people who enjoy the superficial, mainstream, cookie-cutter appeal of Nerd-dom. This makes an uninviting and unwelcoming environment for the kids that actually grew up as the geeks, dweebs, and nerds. In order to cash out on sales and business, a willing effort to attract those who treat this subculture as a petting zoo or roadside attraction has been made.Overall, 1/5 generic and overrated experience. Ive stopped by five times over the course of two years and nothing changed.

MY NEW CAKE SHOP!!! They just delivered 4 dozen cupcakes to my work for my bday as I asked. By the way, if delivered in Fort Wayne, delivery is free!!! OMG they look so wonderful. The cupcake is dense and moist. The chocolates I had them feature on the cupcakes were beautifully done!!! I will be using them for all my cakes now. The staff is friendly and helpful. They dont just do geeky stuff, just ask and they doll anything for ya!!!! Make this place your cake shop. I promise you wont be disappointed!!!!
