Ive been using their service for over 10 years.Humans work there, so not 100% perfect, but very close. Very minimal problems over the years and they have always worked to make it right on the rare occasions when a mistake is made.

For semi truck deliveries they have dock on e William street not on Calhoun street i attach the picture as well u can see dock and u can use the yard in front of dockand people are very nice who are working here full loaded truck unloading only in 30 mint

Ive preordered comic books from DCBS.com periodically over the last 5 years. Ive had some minor complaints and questions on a couple of orders and they were always quick to respond and resolve the issue within a few days.Out of all the comic books Ive ordered throughout the years here, which is probably around 750 or so, only one was damaged (Spine crease with no color break).Moreover, I have always received the correct comic that I ordered. No mix ups with all the variant covers.One thing I find slightly annoying is that when I do order from here, I get my comics shipped ONE time monthly. Sometimes they will ship my order after the 3rd week and hold my 4th week books for the next shipment. That next shipment might be a year later... But Ive still received all my preorders, even if it is on the next shipment.*EDIT*I will retract my last statement:Its been a few months since my last order was placed and all books were shipped except the 4th weeks books as per usual with this company. The 4th weeks books I ordered were marked as filled but not shipped. Pretty standard, however this time my 4th weeks book had a popular book that went up in value immediately after release.I kept checking my online account to make sure that it was still filled and it showed it was.When I place my next order 4 months later, the popular book was missing and I received and email stating shortage by diamond and a refund.The situation is suspect, therefore I will drop my review to a 3 star rating.

Ive been placing orders online with DCBS for around 6 months now. My books have always arrived in VERY good condition. Most of the time, much better than the issues I get at my LCS. If you know what you want ahead of time and have the patience to wait, you cannot beat their pricing.I love almost everything about this website, but the customer service is pretty rough the few times Ive had to contact them. It takes a week or more for a response. The most recent time, my question wasnt really addressed and it felt like they didnt really want to assist me. Im still waiting on a second response for the same question.

This place is trash!!!!! They steal your money. They do not send out orders. Discount Comic Book Service is a scam. These guys are clowns. Avoid at all costs. First and last time I will ever use them to order books. Midtown comics is a much more reliable and professional operation.

Do not bother to try and buy from them, they will not mail out your orders.They take them fine and then close your account and no response when you try to contact them. Seems very shady. They are just too lazy to take down the web site.

Horrible customer service. They forget to ship orders and cannot take responsible for their fault and make no attempt to make it right. Do not use their service! Support your local comic shop. It may cost you more but at least you will be supporting people worth your time and money and that actually care about you as a costumer.And now I cannot access my account. I have orders still with them and they took my money for them but I cannot see the status of the orders. They are not replying to emails. I have no idea if I will be getting the items I paid for and they do not refund any money.

Went in there with my fiancee and we had to greet the staff. They were not helpful. I sat at the coffee counter for 30 minutes without anyone coming to assist me. They did not have much of a selection for marvel. They tried to tell my fiancee that marvel is only for large corporate store. It was a complete waste of time. If you want no help, no greeting, and no coffee and you hate marvel comics, youll love this place.

Been buying comics from DCBS for years through mail order. They are Johnny On The Spot fast and accurate 99.9% of the time and they do enough bulk business to have the best prices in the industry. You could do a LOT WORSE than using DCBS for your current comic needs. They also have great deals on trade paperbacks.

They dont ship my orders. And lost one already. They dont respond to my emails. They used to be good. No idea what happened! But my last 5 pre-orders (each worth $300), I only received two shipments! One in Jan (which was supposed to be shipped out in Dec), one in March (which was supposed to ship out Feb). They lost my Jan shipment and arent responding about it! And I havent received last months shipment neither, and theyre also not responding to my emails about it!! This month I placed my pre-orders with someone else. Maybe less discount but at least Id receive my comics!!!!

Placed an order several days ago. Have no idea what status is. No number to speak to anyone. Emailed them and got no response. Yeah there cheap but no one wants the hassle. Shop somewhere else.

Whoo boy! What a selection of graphic novels! Amazing! Id be here on a weekly basis if I lived closer. Great selection of toys and a large gaming area.

Disgusting. Sometimes the orders were great (in the early days) but then there was a decline. Some collectibles arrived smashed, broken, or missing altogether. After numerous emails etc, no contact. Did not feel like a valued customer, despite my regular subscriptions for years. So I left for another and could not be happier. Will not trust DCBS again.

This is the best local comic shop Ive ever been to. They are also the premier comic pre-order site. The best discounts and anytime Ive had a problem they have fixed it in a quick manner.

I have been a monthly customer since July 2011. They take incredible care of me as a customer. They communicate very well, and have always resolved any problems that have come up, even ones that were my fault.

I have been ripped off. money was taken from my Bank Account, but I not received any of my order . this is from a month ago. look on the site and my account, it said some were cancel, but they did not give me my money back. sent several messages to customer service with no response . than the number I called says it is not in service. I FEEL I HAVE BEEN RIPPED OFFED. ALL I CAN DO NOW IS TURN IT OVER TO THE POLICE.

I use them for online preorders. Ship straight to my door every month. Really cheap. Have everything Ive ever needed. Great service whenever a problem has come up. Ive recommended a few friends to use them.

Just placed my 1st order with DCBS, crossing my fingers it goes smooth if so this will definately be my new go to spot for my monthly books

DCBS is the best comic book shop in Fort Wayne. They offer great on the wall deals (10% off of new comics), plus if you preorder you receive 35-40% off of cover price. I can get a DC comic brand new for $1.79, I get around 5 books a week and after tax and bag and boards I pay around $11. If you want to be able to buy in bulk without breaking your bank DCBS is the store to go to. The staff has always been kind to me. In fact i am now friends with many former/current employees who worked the front desk. Their sister site In Stock Trades also has spectacular deals on Trades and Omnibus often upwards of 40-50% off. To sum it up, if you want the most bang for your buck and get quality service with the chance of making a lasting friend then DCBS is the place for you.

Prices are decent, but most employees sit at the desk and browse their facebook, read comics, or talk on their cell phones instaed of answering the phone or helping customers.One employee always checks the back for inventory, but the last few times ive been in the employees just told me that everything in stock was on the shelves, withoit even looking up from their phones.

I will never order from this service again, I pre-ordered a comic for my wife back in May, its now December, the comic was released in June. I also paid all in full at the time of purchase, and they continued to take try and money from my account. Probably THE WORST service I have ever had the displeasure of using. If I could give no stars i would. Support your local comic book shop, DONT BUY FROM THESE CLOWNS.

Was doing business for years on line. They screwed up an order and when I asked for help they refused to fix it. Then they refused to do business with me again. Their loss.

Great local shop with a good assortment of comics books and statues and toys. Friendly staff.

A horrible comic store run by actual crazy people, avoid at all costs. sociopaths who will lie to your face and online. A manager with poor hygiene and her pets apparently live in the store and it has a food counter, yuck! Poor lighting and dampness is not what I want in a comic store, they wont turn on the lights unless there are enough customers.

They cancel online variant orders because they presale too many. Bad business. It always happens.
