My review is in addition to Tristan Moyers review. In response to over head door, I did not ask the technician to take and dispose of the bottom panel of my garage door. He asked and I told him I wanted to keep it in case we could get it fixed and put back up ourselves. I told him we could dispose of the panel ourselves if need be. My boyfriend was out of town at the time. Which is why I wanted to keep the door as is, until he could see it. The technician told me it could not be repaired by us, and again he asked if I wanted him to take the panel. Because he had already cut the cables and took the door down I gave up trying to salvage anything and told him he could go ahead and take it. Not being very knowledgeable about garage doors myself, I feel like it all would have gone differently had Tristan been home.

I was out of town my girlfriend backed into the garage door. Told her to call overhead door to get a on fixing it. The technician told her the door couldnt be fixed and that we needed a new door and itd be 2000 to $3000. When I got home the cables were cut on the door and he took the bottom panel to dispose of it. From what I seen I could have easily fixed it myself now I have to get a whole new door. I called overhead door and asked if I could speak with the technician to ask him why he did that they told me I could not speak with the technician. About 5 years ago I had these people install a garage door opener at my old house very professional And affordable I guess times have changed. I definitely would not recommend this company.

The customer service folks were rude and curt. I paid several hundreds of dollars for repairs and the key pad code still isn’t working even after installing a new one 1 month out. The tech seemed irritated working on my repairs despite my efforts to be polite and courteous. Would not recommend.

I ordered a new door through overhead door.They are reasonably priced and the door came in a reasonable time frame. Tim and Blake who installed my door were excellent and very professional.Couldn’t give them enough praise.

I used Overhead door for a property I manage. They were having a hard time figuring out what was going wrong with the opener, and they had to come out multiple times. In the end the opener ended up being bad and we had to order a new one. Overhead Door actually put all the previous balance toward the new opener because of how long it took. No one is perfect, but its good to know that the people you are working with will make it right if things go south.

PERFECT. I actually just signed up for a google account to be able to give them a review. I backed into my garage door on Thanksgiving Eve with my brand new car. They answered on Thanksgiving right away and she was so sweet forgetting that it was a Holiday. AND THEN.... they came out that Friday after since I didnt want to pay Holiday prices. They made my door operable, but advised that i not use it, and set up for a panel to get replaced. It was a really great experience and price. I def recommend. Service guy even made a joke and took interest in my new car, hoping it was not the one I backed into the door with.

Had them come out and assess damage to my garage door. They responded quickly and came out the same day. However, when the guy showed up he took one look at the door and said he didnt have the parts he needed so hed be back in a day or two. Two days passed without contact and my wife called and the receptionist appeared to have no idea who we were or that we had requested to have work done. No follow up from the guy who came out to the house either. We went with another company. Not impressed by the lack of communication and apparent disorganization when it comes to logging and tracking potential jobs.

The 2 young men that came out to repair our garage door were very nice and professional. The repair didn’t take long at all, maybe 30 minutes. The price of the repair was definitely reasonable too! We will definitely utilize Overhead doors services again and highly recommend them to anyone that need repairs! Thanks guys! We greatly appreciate it!

Great place. They replaced my entire garage door opener, I mean the entire assembly, within a few days of me calling, and they did it for a fantastic price. Brandon was really good to us and looked out for us the whole way. I appreciate the service guys, new unit is wonderful.

Awesome garage door opener from an A+ company. Our service guy, Tim, was fast, friendly and knowledgeable. Tim installed our opener and synced up all openers with both existing garage doors and the new garage door. Would highly recommend.

They say on their website that if they cant service your garage door the same day, labor is free. Then they give you alot of fast talk about how apparently servicing the garage door is coming and spending five minutes just to tell you whats wrong with it. Then say they cant fix it for a week. Explain to an 85 yr old woman why, when she makes an actual service call, that the free estimate is considered same day service. She feels taken advantage of. In my personal opinion, it seems like a bait and switch. I take my reviews seriously, and tend to err on the side of caution when rating a company. But I 100% DO NOT RECOMMEND Overhead Door for any reason! One more thing, they didnt say we cant do it for a week because we have to order parts. They said we cant do it for a week because we are too busy!

I had them fix my garage door in which they told me even if I wanted to get it fixed they couldnt do it till Monday. They fixed the garage door. Fast forward two or three weeks, same problem again. I asked if they could come out and they said that this was a warranty issue and as such couldnt come out till at least Monday. I guess I just wasnt as important as someone who is paying first time. Beware their warranty work, YOU are not a priority. I work weekdays. I now have to have a member of my family take off work to be there on Tuesday. I am paying after all as loss of money from day off. This will likely be last time I go to them.;Update: They showed up and did not do the job. The professionalism is lacking from the top down. I went with precision and had someone there within two hours. They fixed it with zero issues or disrespect.Update: I think I was clear in that they left without completing the job without permission. Incompetent and now rude about what happened as well as lying . If you are a part of the 30000+ plus following that knows I am honest, completely leave overhead door alone. You will thank me for it. And remember people....read the response....still no apology.

I called Overhead Door to come out and repair our garage door and from the time I talked to the person answering the phone Mckenzie, to the Technician that came out to repair our door they were so helpful and knowledgeable. I would recommend them to anyone!

I came in looking for parts to keep my 25 year old garage door going for at least a few more years. From the guy in the front office, to the tech Mark, I was thoroughly impressed with their customer service.

Over head doors of Fort Wayne was hired through our home warranty company to service our opener. I spoke with the receptionist to ensure their company would work with my warranty company, and to see if they had received the claim. She said yes! I then made an appointment with them, and was told they would be at our home between noon and 5:00 pm. on Friday. I received a call at 12:30 pm. on the Friday they were suppose to be arriving, informing me that they will not be coming out after all, because the home warranty we use, took too long to pay them on some previous job??Now, we may have to go through the entire weekend with out our garage door opener working, because we were not told, upfront, that they will not work with our warranty company. We have to ask why it took them so long to tell us they werent coming, and second, how interesting it is that Over head doors doesnt want the inconvenience of waiting to get paid through our home warranty company, but think nothing of inconveniencing us by calling at the last minute to tell us they arent coming after all!?...and with the weekend approaching. My husband works in the claims and insurance repair business, and says it is not unusual for a company to have to wait to get paid when there has been a claim filed. They all get paid for their services rendered, and as inconvenient as it is, they may not always get paid immediately. We will not ever recommend this company in the future.

I had a very positive experience with overhead door. Tom was at my house within a couple hours of when I first called. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about what my door issues were and how to fix them. Price was fair and met my expectations going into the repair call.

We had to order a complete new door because they discontinued our model. When they installed it their worked said it needed some more adjustment on the right side. Well, 2 and a half weeks later the roller fell off on the right side. It was late Friday when it fell off. I put it back on so we could get the door to close. I called them on Saturday and they said they would send some one out Monday. They called on Monday and said the service man would be out, my wife said she did not want the same guy that installed it ! Boy, did that upset her !! Anyway they sent out Tom and he fixed it .It took him about 45min to get it adjusted and he wanted to know who installed it so he could give him a few tips as to what he did wrong. Also he said they never lubed it and that was why it was making all that noise . I called Overhead door to tell them that Tom did a good job !! They put me over to the operations Mgr. Boy, he sure didnt want to hear that his worker did a bad job installing the door. Well shame on you ! How about a little customer service !!! The door was over $2000 and we paid for it in full.

Technician came out to my house same day when we needed a repair fast due to incoming cold weather. Very professional and got my door in working order. Returned a few days later to replace the vinyl that needed replacing and even helped me find a coupon for 10% off on my phone! Would call again.

I was looking to replace my garage door and opener, the residential salesman will not meet on a weekend (the only time that will work for my wife and I). So they lost this sale. A friend said they did an excellent job fixing his garage door, so maybe their service department is good.

We scheduled a repair for my mothers house, and about a half hour beforehand the repair, my elderly father, who is a retired pastor battling dementia, had fallen down. I came from work to help, and my mother had called to let them know that she had to help my father and couldnt recieve the repairmen. I come home to see their van sitting in the driveway, and as I went up to the house I noticed they were in the van. They asked if I lived here, and I said yes. They said they were told to wait because someone had fallen and nobody was home (not what we told them over phone!). I said that my mother and father, and it looks like his niece and nephew had come, were home. He was, very rudely, complaining how he had been waiting for so long. That the people in that Cadillac (also said snarkily) had gone up to the door. I pointed out that he could have rang the bell if he was that impatient, but that I only knew that my father had fallen as I had just gotten home myself. I entered through the front for and asked the gentlemen to come in when my mother said that dad was okay and sitting upright. She took them to show the problem with our door, offering apologies for the wait and that its hard to predict things like this with dementia patients. I was out of the room, helping my father, but apparantly one of the repairmen was very rude to her, and berated us. Will be demanding an apology from him! No such disrespect is merited for my father, a retired Lutheran pastor, or his wife, or nephew, a retired bishop!

IF i could give them less than one star i would had them come out to my business on dec.20 2018 told them what issue was guy looks every thing over tells me i need two new cables replaces them and then tells me i need new limit switch does all this leaves 4 days later doing the same thing call them back out two men walk around look up at opener and tell i need new opener why did they not tell me this before they charged me 314.00 i went ohio and purchased new one for 410.00 hate to see what they would have charged beware of overhead door of fort wayne
