Very delicious asian cuisine! Came 2 hours prior of regular opening, which i noticed later because we were instantly welcomed. You can also get something á la carte, so no need to get the all you can eat if you are not in the mood for all of the 93 dishes you can get! We had korean beef and sushi and were super happy.Recommendation by me.

Good people and good food at a good price. Lin at the front desk took care of me and made me feel at home. She even remembered me when I came back for a second takeaway order the next week!
Food is really good, awesome menu and very friendly staff! Takeaway is very fast too, less than 40 min wait on a Friday night.
Very friendly and welcoming staff, the lady that welcomed us spoke English very good.The portions are very generous, we did take away for lunch and we manage to still have an abundant dinner with the left overs. The food is very tasty, definitely exceeding my expectations. We tried the Gado Gado (which I recommend ), the tofu and the duck. All of these dishes were very good. Finally, I would like to personally thank the staff for feeding us at 15.30 on a Sunday when all of the other restaurants were closed.

They have an all you can eat menu as well as a-la-carte menu, we chose the latter and had the avocado and cucumber sushi, both could be avoided for sure. At first they made a mistake for serving us 4 pieces instead of 6, however later on rectified it and gave 2 egg sushi’s free of cost. Had the vegetables with chicken and we were told it will be a gravy dish but it wasn’t, the taste was good however the gravy in the dish was like a semi dry one. All in all it was cooked well. However something we didn’t like at all is the attitude of the staff. They were so different to the western crowd compared to us two Indians. It didn’t feel right, however once the bill came and we left a tip of almost 20% of our bill they were smiling and were so happy. So it’s very sad to see such cultures and such attitude from anyone in the hospitality sector. That is the only reason I have given 3 stars and not 4. For the food I would give it 5.
We came to have lunch here because the reviews seemed good. I have to say I left pretty disappointed with a bad taste in my mouth.I am not expecting good designs or very good quality for a relatively low price so long the food is good. But it isnt. We ordered A la carte. I got some miserable rice topped off with the cheapest, nastiest slice of ham and a half cooked egg. The main was just some leftover meat from the fridge reheated and drenched in some sauce so we wont feel the taste.I still did.
Big portions, staff is very nice, food can be better. At least for vegans.
Just like everything else on this island, it all moves slow. If you are ok with that, go for the sushi as it it the freshest I have ever had.

Food portion was good, more than enough but not overly too much. Price is reasonable too. I ordered the Mehoen goreng met geroosterd varken (fried vermicelli with roasted pork). The rice noodles were fried well, not too overly greasy or over fried until dry. I also appreciate that the seasoning was deliberately sufficient and not too salty or overpowering. Definitely one of the better Asian restaurants in Texel and Den Helder.

We got takeout from here and so positively surprised at the quality. An absolute must in terms of taste but temperature. When we got home it was still very warm.The spring roll did not float in the grease as you often see at other takeaways. Everything tasted wonderfully fresh and tasted like it had been prepared with love.Chinese food on Texel? Go to Den Burg, by far the best.
All you can eat. This sentence alone tends to vomit. Our chicken soup was tasteless as well as the nasi goreng which I had to spice up with a dollop of sambal which led to stomach ache. The price 39 euros. It was well paid for half. Overall a bad experience and not worth repeating.
Very good ordering 5 small portions on a card you can do that 4 times. Far too much for us but nice to try everything.
Saturday evening, August 27, had a delicious dinner with six of us at taste of asia. What a hospitable friendly people. The food is delicious, even tapas from the Thai kitchen .. topper recommended the delicious tomkha soup. Also indonesian tapas. Highly recommended for a fair price.

Of course you prefer to eat out when you are on Texel. But if that is not allowed, this restaurant is a very good choice to get healthy hot food to take to your overnight address. If the distance is great, your food will be extra wrapped in aluminum foil. You can choose from many dishes and the service is very friendly. Even after a ride on the e-bike, the spring rolls are still deliciously crispy, well-warmed and tasty until past Oosterend. My party wanted something that was not on the menu. That was made for her. If you can eat inside in the restaurants again, I will definitely come back.
All you can eat. Only eaten 2 rounds in 2.5 hours. What we ate was ok. All orders went wrong. From drinks to wrong tables and completed order forms that werent picked up. Always notify the operator. All in all been an expensive Chinese with a not so nice aftertaste.

Delicious eaten (24-07-2020). A few days on Texel and heard a lot about this restaurant. Regularly visit the owners sister in Hillegom NH which is also excellent. Choice of sushi is less but very fresh! However, the rest of the dishes are of fresh quality! Recommended . The owner comes out of the kitchen as soon as she can have a chat with her many regular guests! A big 10 in our opinion

Delicious eaten. You can choose between a la carte or all you can eat. We went for the all you can eat (28.50 pp). A lot of choice. Unfortunately less sushi than we hoped. The sushi they had was very tasty and richly invested.The case is from an old Asian couple with a womans sweetheart. She explains that you can choose everything in whatever order, you can even start with ice cream. On the map where you tick your food, there are 5 rounds as with every all you can eat restaurant, but here you can ask for a new one if it is full. So you can easily order only a few dishes per round and still be full at the end of the evening. When we had enough, they even suggested that we go for a walk and then enjoy more. Unfortunately we had to return to the mainland with the last boat.

Unfortunately, the restaurant is not recommended, as soon as you enter the shop it smells very musty. The service is very friendly but thats about it.The soup was like water, with canned mushrooms, the main course was chicken with vegetables and an indefinable sauce made from broth and water. Too bad it was underground in terms of taste.

Last night all you can eat here with family with 2 children from Rotterdam Practically every dish was fresh and above all authentic! 5 islands chicken / fish, sushi, curry very tasty. Weird fish taste on the noodles and way too fat. Meat or sauce was sour. You have to make it very furious if you want to make me think noodles are dirty or want to give me a shit. Wondering if we (and the neighbors had picked them up separately) tomorrow outside the small room.It is also incredibly expensive and the portions minimal. Normally never write such a review, especially not about the Chinese. But this beats everything. (Oh yeah, crackers werent even there because dear father came 2.40 short ..) Old Chinese may come back if the weather is good.A Fathers Day to remember.

Very good food good service nice people
Delicious eaten at this recently acquired Asian restaurant on the groeneplaats. Enthusiastic hospitable service, who do their very best to make things the way everyone wants. Some top dishes from the all you can eat menu are bulgogi, sushi, five spice chicken / fish, beef garlic and Peking duck. Except for 1 table, the restaurant was full this evening and also at the take-out side (very conveniently separated from the restaurant) it seemed busy. Good price-quality ratio!

What a fantastic restaurant this is where we had a delicious lunch. You immediately taste that this is all about quality. Very pleasant service and a nice menu. Definitely not your average Chinese restaurant!Too bad we didnt discover this earlier because this is our last day of vacation. Keep it up an asset to Texel we will be back.
