They have great customer service and have the products I am looking for not like home Depot, especially with lawn and garden equipment. I paid a third less than I did at home Depot for a electric weed eater that didnt work. Northern tools have quality equipment and for a better price. My advice is go with gas it works much better and has more power to finish the job.

Do not purchase or repair generators with Northern tool @820 Texas. They are a mess, disorganized and dishonest. They will sell you a warranty without the personnel or knowledge to fix them. Mine was repaired by a guy that was clearly on drugs and almost burnt my truck. Powerhouse HQ actually tried to helpbut due to no evidence at the store now we have no generator. Never again fellas. Our business lost money due to their incompetence.. Good luck in the future.

I unknowingly dropped my diamond wedding ring just inside the door of the store on South Freeway Fort Worth, TX. Five hours later I realized I’d lost it, called the store and the employee, Harit answered and said they had found my ring! When I arrived back there, I found out another employee, Jada had seen the ring and a customer picked it up and gave it to Harit. Thank God for honest people. Many THANKS!

Product that I was looking for was cheaper at Northern Tool than on Amazon. At the store, the product was in two locations on the same aisle, with two different prices, one of which was the price I found online, and tge other slightly higher. I took a printout with me from online for this very reason, however the price at the register was the lower one and matched online. Only reason that I didnt give 5 stars was due to the price marking inconsistencies in the store. I noted another similar product with the same issue as well, so not isolated.

Ordered a duplicate order of welders accidentally. I needed to return one so I take one here, and, unlike Home Depot, you need to request a return! So now I am stuck with an extra welder, and if things only can get worse, I open one and it is defective! The door hinge for the spool is messed up and I had to use pliers to open it! I fixed the hinges but still, this is too much.

This was the best Northern Tool & Equipment location of the several I have been to. They have a larger and better organized inventory than any I have been to. The store was clean and the staff was friendly, efficient and helpful.

Came to buy some small things I needed for work, this old white worker told another worker to keep an eye on us while we were at the checkout line. He tried saying it under his breath but not low enough. I am baffled, always have had good experiences at other Northern tools, this would be the only one I dislike.

My first time at northern tool was to take in a faulty Westinghouse generator I bought off amazon to see if they could service it under the warranty (it was brand new). Robert in tools and repairs really pulled through for me and went above and beyond what he needed to do. He figured out the issue, tried to contact Westinghouse several times to no avail. Instead of leaving it at that and having me bite the bullet, he fixed my generator. My business was suffering unnecessary loses for weeks and it’s people like Robert that keep me coming back to places of business, amazing customer service.

Having started wildlife management on a new property a few years ago, I have spent a lot of time gathering all the agricultural and mechanical tools needed for such work. Northern Tool has become my go-to place when I need a new tool or piece of small-property ag equipment. The store in Fort Worth always has friendly employees that are genuinely interested in keeping the customer happy. I drive 40 miles one-way to shop there, and its worth it.

Placed my order for a motorcycle ram over the internet with help from an associate who walked me through the process over the phone and drove 10 minutes to the store and it was ready for pick up. I didnt have to wait the 2hours like the website stated. Yayyyyyy!

Bought over 175 dollars worth of merchandise asked if the coupons that came to house were on line due to I forgot it at home. She was not helpful at all says ones on line were 3rd party. I asked what about the store web site she was i dont know. I have worked retail and have always helped them find the best deal I can give them.

I’ll be real honest, I typically have no idea what I’m doing in a place like this. It’s easy to get overwhelmed. I thought I had my head right about what I needed to complete a DIY project I’ve been working on but I got in over my head and was feeling very overwhelmed. The staff at northern answered every question I had with expertise and patience and didn’t make me feel like a fool for any of it (thanks for that; there were a LOT of questions!). They even pointed out some videos I could use online to help me find my way if I got stuck. If you need some professional advice, tools and above and beyond customer service, this is your spot.

I bought a big stihl chainsaw at Northern Tool.I love it. Dont know if the credit goes Stihl or Northern Tool.

3rd northern tool went to, Robert the sales associate did an awesome job helping us find what we needed. He went over and beyond to take care of us and make sure we had everything needed to complete a job.

First experience with this store, and was quite impressed. Purchased a couple of small items online initially thinking there might only be curbside pick-up during the COVID-19 pandemic. Upon arrival, I saw they were open and went inside to pick-up an additional item. The shelves are stocked neatly, every associate I came across was genuine and polite (not always the case at the orange and blue home improvement stores), and I could tell they were taking social distancing protocols seriously. I checked out with Brooke who was very friendly. She even located a discount for the in-store purchase that I didnt even know existed, nor did I ask for. Im a bit of weekend warrior, but this location has everything and more than I feel I may ever need. I certainly wont hesitate to drive just a little bit further past those other stores to come here in the future for my needs. Thank you!

Slight miscommunication sent Jose and Robby on a mad hunt for a product I thought was purchased. Kudos to to the customer support they provided and were absolutely understanding of my dilemma.

Everytime I go here I feel taken advantage of one way or another. Today went in for an air hose reel. Website showed in stock. Called the store to verify, was told they had six. Arrived at the store. was told they could not sell them to me because they had been pulled for an order over a week ago. I even asked if they could get me one out of that order explaining I had driven quite a distance to come pick one up. They refused.And big box retailers Wonder why theyre losing business to the likes of Amazon.Northern tool is a great example. If you order something on their website you cant pick it up in the store, Even if they have it in stock. When you place an order on their website and select in store pickup, you must wait for them to ship it from their warehouse to the store before you can pick it up.I have spent over $2,000 in the last month at northern tool. Almost everything I bought there I could have bought on Amazon under a different brand name. Generally I prefer to support local companies.Look got the same thing on amazon in 1 day!

The fort worth store improved drastically a good while back, about the time the whole store layout changed. Got to say, theres an employee there, Blake, that is one of the most motivated, professional customer service oriented individuals Ive ever seen in retail. Impressed every single time I walk in and see him working! Just a straight, helpful, take charge get it done kind of guy!

Store was clean. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Had plenty of room in the aisles for my wheelchair. Unfortunately they were out of stock of the item I was looking for that was on sale for 20% off and so I wont be able to get it at that price. That was the only negitive issue.

Service department has great customer service! I had an issue with a generator and the service department followed through with the warranty that I purchased to repair/replace the generator . So many times in big stores customer service is absent, this is not the case with this department. The service technician treated me like it was his own business and my happiness was his goal. All the employees at this location went far & beyond to help me during recent power outage. Very grateful for their help. I didnt really know which generator to purchase. They helped me decide on the one that would best suit my needs. Also made sure I knew how to operate it.

Buyer beware. Read fine print on the back of receipt. ROGER and CINDY at South Fort Worth in Texas not standing behind what their employee said to sell product. They would not give me last names because they said they did not have to, even though they are representing management. Charged 10% restock fee on returning defective item. Then stated they would sell defective product on their mark down shelf. Really, Law suit waiting to happen. When asked about selling faulty products, THEY stated that they do not care about liability do to product being sold as is when it gets resold. Made me upset to know instead of sending it back for repair they are going to resell it to the public.Watch out for this product being resold. The Warn Wench is rated for 1000 lbs, wouldnt even move 200 lbs. The only way this would work is if what your moving is on wheels. They said it pulled the fork lift, which is on wheels, not a direct pull of something not on wheels. Even if it moved fork lift a few inches which I doubt, im sure that was the final blow.Originally, when i bought product I had doubts but thought I would give it a try since their employee reassured me if it didnt work I could bring it back up to 15 days for a full refund. After several attempts it failed each time. They will tell you what you want to hear to sell their products but will not stand behind their word. A Word and a handshake gets you nowhere in this world today.Watch out for this store and what they say. If you buy something you have doubts about listein to your gut, or record what they are telling you, because they will not stand behind it.

Bought a powerhorse pressure washer March of 2018. After 5 or 6 uses when releasing the trigger the pump was still running. Found my receipt bc they wont honor their 2 year warranty without it. Took it in and a couple of days later i get a call saying all the valves were melted and basically needed the pump rebuilt. Wes told me its going to cost me 179$...... apparantly their 2 year warranty doesnt cover wear and tear items..... Im lost for words. What does your warranty cover then? Everything in a motor or pump is wear and tear. Northern Tool in Burleson you can take your pressure washer and stick it where the sun dont shine. I will never go back in your store not even to pick up the junk you sold me. $400 lesson i learned. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE IF YOU KNOW WHATS GOOD FOR YOU! THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND EXPECT MORE MONEY WHEN THIER JUNK BREAKS ON YOU.

There customer service? Well they dont have any. Every single time I come in here Im ignored. I ask a question, its like Im throwing everyones groove off. This last time I came in there this older man was called to assist me in pricing welding gas. And he just threw the book with the prices on the table and left. So needless to say I only go there when I absolutely have to.

There are 10 people in line cashier do not know what they are doing not friendly at all. no one has Sense of urgency One cash you took over 10 minutes to wait on 1 person the other cash you took over 20 minutes This is F ridiculous

Super slow service. One whiney customer shut down an entire register to quarrel about an out of date coupon. Three people in front of me. Open second register took 32min. To buy one pack of welding shields for my helmet. Shame.
