Pretty much the only place to sell movies and music. Nice people, prices aren’t the best but it’s still a good place to go.

Friendly staff always helpful and very polite. We cant never leave without $60 worth of movies. Or staff members always suggest other movies. We go up there all the time.

I can entertain lowball offers on my items,but to be told I should go to Half Price Books because Id only get a penny or 2 per album for my old Led Zeppelin, Beatles,Elvis,Metallica,Ozzy and such in good shape(sleeves intact and no scratches)......Wow.O wait they never looked at em to know condition or what they were....Hmmmmm I guess its their loss.Well their customers loss.Thanks for sending me to the competition. Routinely (Every visit) have been asked more than 2 times if I need help finding anything, the Employees are some of the the Fastest most helpful, knowledgeable people EVER! There has not been a movie IVE asked about that they could not find. All of the employees know almost every SINGLE shelf in this store. If you cant find it, they will find it for you! They remember you BY NAME if you come in frequently.(I Have sold lots of Dvds, blue-rays and games here and they pay Good money for the stuff they buy! Dvds, they buy ANY KIND of Games (Computer Games, PlayStation(PS-PS1-PS2-PS3-PS4-PS5 / All Xbox Game Versions / Nintendo- [Nes-Snes-N64-NGameCube-GameBoy-(All GameboyVersions-NintendoSwitch / Atari / Sega Genesis. There are others I am forgetting! They bought ALL My iPods, (they have to be in decent condition with a good (decent) battery holding a charge. And ALL kinds of other stuff! Go check them out! Youll see what sort of other stuff they buy And Sell! I Absolutely LOVE this place!! I have walked in 10 minutes to close with something to sell (usually movies because those dont take to check) and they checked them for me and bought most of them! I come here as often as I can! They got this customer for LIFE! :)

Im a longtime MTC customer in Dallas. I had need to order a DVD and it was ordered from this Fort Worth (Hulen) location. Post office failed to deliver even though mailed to correct address and so it came back to FW location . Manager Mo tracked down my number and called me, relayed all of this to me, and then she re-sent the item after verifying the address.The post office had included a note that the address was invalid since 2006 (?!) but this time it came thru with no problems.Thank you, Mo and Movie Trading Company! That was above and beyond the call of duty and I appreciate it!Great company. Great employees. Great store.

Amazing place to find movies

I took a whole movie set. 6 seasons and 3 other movies and just got a little over $7. For store credit. Its sad the DVD is worth so little money now days. Everyone was wonderful that worked there.

Staff was very pleasant, and funny, enjoyed some laughs! Went in to sell a gift card, just had to wait a bit as the system was running slow. Got back the offer, I accepted then just had to sign the receipt, then that was it. Always a great experience there!

I have always loved this store. When it comes to great deals on movies, music or games buying or selling this is a good place to go. They can also order things for you as well. The only downside, is that each location has its own products and they cant check from store to store if you are looking or wanting something. Which means, you have to yourself. Other then that always helpful and friendly.

They pay way too little when selling to them. You get more from a pawn shop so dont waste your time going there.

I dont know what happened to Movie Trading Company. 10 years ago I would have given them 5 stars for their open mindedness and for being fair as far as buying old game systems goes. The manager then was friendly and knowledgeable. But that guy is gone and his replacements are his opposites. Took a buttload of stuff to sell and wound up leaving there with most of it still in my possession because of one excuse or another. Thumbs down. Go somewhere else to sell your games. No money to be made here.

New releases are way overpriced, so you are better off looking for older titles.They do buy and trade so you can get cash ore store credit toward future purchases.The people here are friendly and if they dont know the answer to your question, they will do what they can to find out for you.

This is a great place to watch a movie, eat, and to have an after dinner and movie drink..My husband and I have our date nights there once a month, such a relaxing atmosphere and the customer service is fantastic..

Good selection of games and movies. I mostly went for the mystery box Magic the gathering. They used to be good with a good distribution of new and old cards, rares and commons and foils. However the last couple boxes Ive bought have not been random at all, and all in all only yielded about $4 in cards if that. I understand its a mystery box and I might not get my $20 back on it but honestly, in a 500 card box (even though half of them were only half full, not the over 500 cards advertised), getting over 50 copies of one card is a little ridiculous. Will likely not be back unless they shape up that system, I can just as easily get my movies from amazon and my grab boxes of cards from Ebay for better prices.

A movie and game lovers paradise. In the world of e-commerce it is nice to still have a store like this and the Hulen location in Fort Worth to go into and browse to find that hard to find DVD that you can never find through online retailers.

Always a great place to find an old game or movie, but if you ever sell a console here..wipe its data, I didnt and the person who purchased my PS3 bought games on my account and cleaned out my bank. Luckily my bank refunded the money..but at the same time all I got was an apology from M.T.C. well lesson learned I guess.

While I love that I can find most any movie in this place, the employees are kind but the smell of smoke and mildew makes me not stay long. In fact its so bad that I would rather not come inside but if your looking for a movie to rent, they probably have it! The wait time in line is not that long, so it helps if you do not prefer the smell of smoke.
