I love the great prices on fruit, eggs, meats and nearly everything in the store. Often items are 50% less than supermarkets. I do not mind bagging my own groceries and a basic store to save my hard earned money!

Love Aldi. Theres usually parking close to the store, people dont seem to mingle. A basic mix of fresh produce at reasonable prices. Lots of bread and alcohol to choose from and a small Hispanic section. Everything is well stocked except the dairy fridge is prone to empty spots. Register lines can get pretty long as theres only one person at the register but theyre good with calling backup.

I like that they have the usuals that I need and I also like how they always have a surprise of something I have not seen and just have to have friendly people helpful, but always will shop there

Remember to bring a quarter for the cart or you will be carrying your items. The prices are decent as are the items. It is hit or miss with the produce. Havent really purchased their meats, so I cant say whether they are good quality or not. Some store brands are better than brand name, but you have to try them first to make that decision. Store is always clean and shelves stocked unless they are seasonal items. In other words, I dont mind shopping here for the low prices.

My regular food shopping store. They have everything we need. And great prices! Employees are very helpful.

Very friendly staff! Has a wide variety of interesting things beyond groceries. Chocolate is good! Probably closer to 4.8 stars because the sale items go quickly.

This store is hit or miss. They dont always have the same times. However, they do have good gluten free and dairy free options. They have a really good dairy free flavored coffee creamer. They usually have vanilla and caramel flavor. They have a good oat milk. Very creamy and fresh. They have gluten free pastas and tortillas and a few gluten free bread selections. They also have good drinks and fresh produce. The only reason why I give 3 stars rather than 4 is because they are inconsistent. Sometimes I go and find NOTHING. Other times, I will go and leave with a full cart. The lines can also get long. Its worth a visit if you have time and are prepared for the possibility you may leave with nothing.

I really enjoy shopping at Aldi. They have a great selection and always changing inventory which is nice. Be sure to check daily deals and they usually keep everything well organized. Clean store.

Must be staff lacking issues. Perhaps its corporate mentality of employee treatment, staff are not the same willing to assist people anymore. But, I still prefer to shop at Aldis.

Limited choice of food. Sanitation is average. Employees and cusomer services are average.

Aldi is awesome. The prices are so hood and they have such a wide/eclectic selection of stuff. The staff is always friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. Its a little far for me, but well worth it.

Interesting. Similar to Trader Joes but a sterile version (i.e. lacking personality). Simple and clean. Not too much or too little. Decent value.

Went to pickup melons advertised as a special. None available. Checked with worker & told we made get more but dont know. Only one cashier, long line of people waiting with large carts of groceries. Store very clean & well stocked. Feel now carrying too much holiday items & not enough variety of groceries.

All items are available in affordable price. You will get kids toy, some useful household items here in very cheaper price. Before visiting this place, just carry a quarter dollar to get the shopping cart and once your return it to proper place, you will get back your quarter dollar. Always carry your own bag to pay extra for the plastic bag (go green).

This store can use some work in updates and organization.

Great prices, limited selection, would be better if cashiers and staff made you feel welcome to shop there instead of always being in such a rush.

The store is well stocked and has a good selection. The only thing I dont like is you have to insert a coin to rent a shopping cart. I wish they would change that policy. Also theres no one cleaning the carts.

This store seemed a little bigger than the Santa Ana location. Was near my Dentist, so stopped on the way home. Just as before, my opinion of Aldis is 100% positive!! My very favorite place for groceries hands down.

Love shopping at Aldi for a lot of reasons but the chocolate is the number one reason. The chocolate is either German or Belgian which is the best.They also have good prices and good varieties of fruits and vegetables.

As far as I can tell, ALDIs is the only one that carries Frost flavored sparkling water, which I love with a passion. It looks remarkably like every single Aldis Ive ever been to. As with all other aldis: great prices, great products, its my favorite place to go for groceries.

I enjoy ALDI for the cost savings. This specific location may want to do something about their employees moral though. Very unfriendly workers. I’ve worked in customer service for years and I get that these people may not enjoy their job or want to be there but a little effort needs to go into a “customer” service job such as this. When I go to check out, I shouldn’t be the only one saying hi, acknowledging the cashier and asking how HER day is. I’m happy to do so, but I feel like a little back an forth could happen. Not just telling me that my card can be inserted after the first item as if I’m inconveniencing her by waiting until my groceries are rung in. I’m someone who is very aware of how my actions affect others and try to get out of people’s way as quickly as possible. In another part of the store a man asked where an item was and one of the girls stocking seemed very irritated to be pulled away from what she was doing to walk a few feet down to point at the item and quickly walk away. It’s just not a welcoming environment. I get that maybe I’m sacrificing that by getting more affordable groceries but I’d hope we can exist in a world where we can at least be decent to one another. I hate to write a review at all but honestly, half of a job in customer service is smiling through the BS. Trust me, I’m a pro at it. A little effort would be nice.

Great variety! Among all other items, I found avocados for $0.29 each, eggs for $1.07, and limes for $0.09 each!! Loving the deals.

We are big fans of Aldi. Great price for most groceries and in much better sizes than the big box stores (we shop there too.).

Really great deals on limited supply items, house and yard decor. Got some awesome plant stands for $19. Anywhere else they would have been over $50-60.I had also been searching for a replacement front door mat that I had bought years ago, they actually had it!

Nice clean store. First time Id been to an Aldis. Small but nicely stocked produce section. Lettuce heads were very nice and a good price. Same for avocados and grape tomatoes.Clean, well organized, good selection and what looked to be pretty good prices.

We were in the store on Saturday night (01/02/2021) and saw them throwing away all the Christmas/Seasonal items. We asked if we could buy some of them at either half/ or discount prices and the Manager told us that Youll either have to pay full prices for those items or were just gonna throw them away. How stupid is that??? Does their Headquarters know how all their grocery stores operate? :)

They always have stock of what I need, & its always reasonably priced. Quick market stop, every time.

The location in Fountain Valley is by far the worst. The never smile, they are always to busy to help you, they never say have a nice or anything kind. I have been there a few times since they opened and every person that has and works there now all have the same nasty attitude. I had to click a star or my review wouldnt get posted, FV Aldi doesnt deserve any stars. Love the Garden Grove and Westminster locations. Friendly, great customer service!!

Aldi hasnt changed since the pandemic. It still has great specialty cheese, snacks and drinks.

All ALDIs are bsically the same. While they dont carry name brands there store brands are fine. Good selection of cheeses! Prices on most items are really good but as always check em...lol. Open 9to9

I hate that Aldi doesnt have small baskets inside. That is what i always use at grocery stores! And i hate that you have to put in a quarter to get a grocery cart, but at least you get your quarter back after you bag your oen groceries!!! My gosh so many surprises this was the first time i went there and its because i needed a grocery cart. I got enough stuff that the bag i picked out was a bit full after i bagged my own grocerys. Other than those problems they have a nice selection of groceries to choose from.

I do NOT feel SAFE shopping here at all! Be WARNED! My grandmother witnessed an older gentleman who worked at the store walking around without a mask. Concerned, she asked another employee if the store was enforcing the mask policy posted on the door of the store. She was met with the flip response: WERE NOT THE POLICE! FIRST of all--- RUDE! Shes a paying customer, and its not her fault that she is concerned about her health....SECOND of all, this response tells me this store DOES NOT CARE about the health of their customers.....I have family members who caught COVID-19 back in March before masks were required in many places, and we watched them suffer over many video conference calls, not knowing if theyd make it through the night. Maybe this store wont take mask laws seriously until it effects them personally, but WERE NOT RISKING the health of our family by shopping here.

Always good prices. The staff at this location is a little edgey but I think I just ask for things at the worst times. I dunno. Anyhow, I dont judge them too harshly on that.

Cashiers are rude! They care about being fast but not about the social distance between one costumer and another one. And is always in this location. I dont want to be paying and right away I have the next person behind me just because the cashier wants to hurry everybody up

I love aldiI was surprised to see they had employees with masks around their necks chatting with each other while handling and stacking raw produce.When I was near the register, there employee coming in from outside had his mask around his neck and proceeded to wipe his nose with his hand as he was walking in. I hope they get better at protecting their customers.

Aldi is a poor mans Trader Joes. Even though theyre related thats where the similarities end. Trader Joes tends to carry a higher end product. Aldi has some decent buys but certain things I stay away from. Their ice cream toffee bars sms drumsticks are a great value. Frozen foods are meh. Dairy products are also a good value. The produce is hit and miss. Some days I think to myself, Geez, arent they embarrassed to put this stuff out for sale? Theres been times Ive gone in there when the tomatoes werent even fit for that festival that takes place in Italy where people throw overripe tomatoes at each other. But I love the fudge striped shortbread cookies, bacon bits, their own brand of sodas and croutons. The bottom line is that if you know what youre specifically going on there for, then Aldi has some decent products at a fine value.The only thing that drives me crazy about this place (amongst all the other stores I visit) is the fact that they have these new steel zits in front of the store. When youre on a knee scooter to ambulate because youre disabled like I am, you risk life and limb trying to navigate this unnecessary terrain. Look, I have enough physical problems and limitations and dont need a flawed design and lack of foresight on an architects part to augment the mess that Im already in. And before you naysayers and critics chime in, I know they are there for the blind but there has to be a better solution to whatever they are trying to accomplish here. Ive gone over the handlebars twice and have nearly fallen off on several other occasions because of these urban mimics of a teenagers skin complexion. Cmon civil engineers and the ADA, get your act together!

I love shopping my food there a lot

My first time shopping at Aldi and it will definitely be my last. I’ve never experienced shopping in such crowded aisles not only because it was busy but there were random pallets and containers of food and merchandise in the way with no employees to refill. It’s noon a busy time for people to shop why have pallets in the way of shopping. Checking out the cashier scanned and THREW all my groceries in the cart! My Glass jar of salsa crashing into my cart and my chicken I placed in a plastic bag she took the chicken and threw the chicken in the cart not putting it back into the plastic bag! So my chicken was on top of the fresh bed sheets and loaf of bread! My boyfriend takes the chicken and puts it into a plastic bag while the cashier tells him “to move and bag in the area provided” he says you can wait I have to put this chicken you threw on top of our bedsheets away! She shows no regard and looks at me to pass her the empty cart. The worst grocery service I have ever experienced, I will take my money to Walmart Neighborhood or The 99 cents store because I get better service! Cashiers need more training on respecting paying customers merchandise not getting people in and out.

Ive been there twice and very impressed. The store is super clean and the staff is very friendly. I bought a cart full of groceries for $56. Anywhere else wouldve cost me $120. All regular items I normally buy -- produce (including cherries, strawberries, blueberries, etc.), cereal, eggs, milk, bread, and I even got a couple frozen pizzas that were delicious! I have never seen eggs for .85 cents anywhere, ever.The cart system is genius. You borrow a cart for a quarter, but you get your quarter back when you return the cart. No more carts all over the parking lot. No employee has to go collect them. My first visit I didnt have a quarter so they gave me one.I am very happy I found this store. I have only been there during the day, so crowds have not been a problem. I will be a regular shopper there.

This is by far my favorite grocery store. Not too many choices. Some of the or most of items are its own brand. Hence low cost. Plus I love the idea of coin cart. Vegetables are usually very fresh. In such a small store they managed to pack lot of house hold items at same time looks open.

Excellent customer service even past 6 p.m. New Years Eve. Cashier was friendly, reminding another customer they were open until 7 p.m. if she needed anything else. Store is clean and well-stocked.

Im on the fence with this store. Im a regular shopper at Traders Joes & Sprouts. With that being said, Im not familiar with the brands I see at Aldi. I bought chicken breast, & some cheese. I didnt care for the produce area. The store is set up like Fresh & Easy, which I am not a fan. Ill give it another try, & see if this place will grow on me.🤷🏻‍♀️

Discovered this chain recently, and it carries different brands! Many from Canada. Their meat is always good and priced well below the chains. Drawback is you have to put a quarter in to use a cart, and you have to bag your own purchases!! Id prefer to pay a little more and have them bag my groceries! I already provide the bags!
