We are very pleased with the service that we received when purchasing a new car at Herb Connolly Hyundai. Our sales rep, Sam Evans was informative and upbeat, and never made us feel pressured to buy. We checked out several dealerships, and came back to Herb Connolly Hyundai, because we realized that they had the best vehicles in stock, and that Sam, whod shown us great integrity, was the best sales rep!

Terrible staff. I came in to ask about replacing my AC compressor. I had already tried different shops and dealerships and wanted to just ask for how much they would charge. The front desk person asked me if I had an appointment. Obviously I did not, I was in the area, I just wanted to ask about how much it would cost on average. A simple question, probably takes a minute or two to find out, right? Apparently not. This guy told me to come back when I had an appointment as he was busy. Understandable, but you should’ve seen how rude he was about it. I wanted to tell him I could wait, but I didn’t even wanna bother with this person. Just ruined my whole day. Whoever runs this place needs to teach your staff some hospitality. I don’t ever want to come back here.

Prices listed online are MUCH lower than when you actually speak to someone at the dealership. That would be good information to know before they have you fill out all of the financing forms. False advertising at its finest. Also, would not recommend using their new, exciting, buy online feature as I’ve been told customers who are there in person take precedent and you’ll be put on the back burner.

Our 13-year-old Hyundai had reached a point where it needed several $$$ repairs, so it made sense to replace it. Hyundai ownership worked out well for us, and the brand still tops vehicle lists for safety, mileage, and warranty. We wanted a Santa Fe: we got one with no fuss AND in the color we wanted! No sales pressure, quick and simple paperwork, and presto! enjoying the drive and all the cool features in our new car. One bonus Im really in love with is the console compartment for my purse! The back seats are wonderfully comfortable--a huge perk for the kids on long road trips. Such well-designed details make all the difference between a vehicle that just gets you there and a ride were going to enjoy for the next decade-plus!

I have had very good service and car sales with Herb Connolly Hyundai. The staff are courteous, helpful and efficient and there is a real team spirit. My Hyundai Ioniq is a great vehicle 20 months into my purchase and often gets 60 miles to a gallon.Dont believe white papers that tell you that hybrid cars only reduce carbon emissions by 20 percent compared to internal combustion only vehicles. I am convinced that in 2021 they are on par with electrical vehicles which also have their own limitations such as cost, lack of common network for refilling and range.

Buyer Beware!! I had the worst experience of my life in purchasing a car at this dealership. The salesperson assigned to me was lacking in both competence and integrity. First and most concerning was that he used pressure tactics to add costs above the MSRP. As I discovered, other dealerships do not make a practice of this – even in a challenging market. Second, he would set up meetings that were a complete waste of my time. I drove 50 minutes to the dealership upon two occasions only to find out 1) he had already sold the car which I was going to consider purchasing 2) he didn’t bother to come into the dealership on the day to register the car, and he had not completed the paperwork for the car I had purchased – despite having 4 days to do so. Both these meetings had been confirmed by text and email. Yet, in neither situation did he bother to call me to reschedule. Worse, upon reviewing my purchase and sale, I discovered that he and the finance representative had overcharged me on a few line items and had neglected to include my deposit which I had already made on the car. Compounding this experience, was the fact that this salesperson was completely inept at email. After emailing him 3 times to confirm a meeting, I had to call his manager to get a response; he consistently failed to provide answers to my questions; he lost track of communications which I had provided to him upon multiple occasions. He created the most chaotic and exasperating process imaginable for purchasing a car. Based upon these experiences, I would strongly recommend not doing business with this dealership.

He talks and treats you like a friend or family member from the second you sit down. He was direct about our options and pricing from the start. Would not recommend buying your vehicle from here. They sold me a vehicle that had a crack in the roof at the antenna. Presumably from the previous owner backing out of their garage and clipping the shark fin antenna which happens all the time. They didnt have this reported (so much for certified pre-owned). When I brought it in because of water leaking into my trunk they turned me away and told me to go to a Mazda dealership because they are not equipped to handle something like this.

Was contacted by this dealership that they were VERY interested in purchasing my truck that I’m selling. Was told a price range that my truck would be purchased for. Drove 45 minutes to the dealership to get an official offer for my truck, and was told they’d only offer me $7000 less than theyre price range that they had quoted me over text. - my truck has no major damage, there was no reason to contact me asking me to come in to get appraisal. Complete waste of my time.

I sought out Peter Franklin at this dealership specifically based on his reputation. I couldnt have been happier with the way I was treated. Peter and I had a conversation about my budget before I arrived and when I got there he had a handful of vehicles ready to look at well within my range. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the features on each one and how they had different pros and cons based on what I had told him I needed. Throughout the entire process, Peter was attentive to my concerns and able to answer any question I threw at him. Buying a car can be stressful, but I would recommend Peter Franklin to everyone I know, no doubt about it.

Waited three hours to have my car service completed. Arrived at 8:00 for an 8:15 appointment. My car went to service at 8:30 ish. The service consultants must work on commission because they always find something to fix. I had the batteries in my key fobs replaced. The service consultant told me she didnt charge me for service to replace the batteries. Unreal. Otherwise, I LOVE the Hyundai brand.

Horrible experience. After being told to arrive at 5:30pm for a specific car, we were told to wait. After waiting a bit, the manager informed us that the car was in the body shop, not available for test driving. He proceeded to tell us about how short staffed he is and how we have bad timing (even though it was an appointment). He then told an already busy salesman who was going to show the car to take us with him. He didn’t acknowledge us at all, not the least bit friendly. Didn’t give us any information or anything. Once arriving at the car, we saw there was more wrong with it than we were told. No one was apologetic or making any effort, even though we just wasted an hour of our day coming to test drive a beat up car. Unbelievable. No wonder my family switched dealerships.

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. From start to finish, this was the worst dealership experience I have ever had. I was greeted by a very rude car salesman who was immediately pushing me to cars I wasnt interested in and one of the other car salesman hit on my girlfriend. They absolutely low balled the heck out of me on my trade-in (2500 less than WHOLSALE value) and then when I wasnt interested, they gave me the biggest attitude telling me to come back when I dont want to waste their time. The feeling was mutual, it was a complete waste of my time and would highly dissuade anyone from coming to this terrible establishment.

Worst dealership experience ever. March 23rd I purchased a 2016 Chevy Malibu from this dealership. I was called on March 26th to pick up the car because it was “ready”. When I got there the staff had me waiting for 4 hours to get my car. When I initially test drove the car the check engine light was on, and the left rear wheel bearing sounded terrible. I told the salesman Bill my issues and he assured me the car would be fixed by pickup. That was not the case, when I drove the car NOTHING was fixed. And to top it off the LEFT TAIL LIGHT was also out and they somehow still passed it for inspection. PLEASE DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE. THE GM DOESNT CARE AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE. Now Im stuck going back and forth with this dealership to get this car fixed.

I can give this dealership a 0 if I could. My father went to purchase a vehicle at this dealership and the salesman offered him to fix what was wrong with the car, after testing it twice. The salesman told my father that it was not an issue and that it could be fixed. But later on when he brings the car in for it to be fixed, they no longer want to fix it. Not only this but after rejecting the fix that they promised, they want to return the car to us with the problem of the vehicle not being fixed. They gave the excuse for the car being old and needs repairing, so why come to this dealership if they sell cars that need fixing?

WORST DEALERSHIP DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE!!!! I purchased a vehicle two days ago from this dealership and when I got in the car I realized that they had not detailed the car (as promised) but that there was also a crack in the windshield. I called to see if I could get the situation rectified and although they were willing to reschedule me for an interior detail they claimed they had no knowledge of the crack and that I would have to go through my insurance. Since I didnt notice the crack at purchase I went along assuming that maybe the vehicle was damaged with out my knowledge. After filing the claim I had someone from Safelite auto glass come out to make a repair. When the repair guy came he told me that the crack was the result of a failed repair job from before I purchased the vehicle (as I have made no repairs on the car and have had it for less than 24 hrs before I noticed the damage) and that I should call the dealership because it was most definitely their responsibility. I contacted the sales rep who sold me the vehicle and he refused to listen to what me or the auto glass professional had to say, insisting that I had to go through my insurance for the repair. When I asked to speak to a manager he referred me to a number that disconnected when I called. I then called the main number and was put on hold for about 10 mins before I was told by a receptionist that she spoke with the owner of the dealership who also refused to claim any responsibility and told me to get in contact with Safelite for a repair (the company who just told me that the dealership is 100% at fault for this issue) I then told her what Safelite had told me and she said their was nothing she could do because the owner had just left for the day (even though it was 11:05 am which makes no sense to me but is hardly the point). She then tried to convince me to go through my insurance for repairs just as the sales rep did. I was given no solution and told that they would try to get someone to call me tomorrow. Worst experience ever would give negative stars if I could. Will never do business here again. If you are considering using this dealership for a purchase dont. Sketchy products and terrible customer service.

Worst Hyundai dealership nationwide is Herb Connolly Hyundai. Twice I have brought my vehicle here to have the alternator tested and twice they did not test the alternator. In the past, I made an appointment for a tire rotation and oil change, paid for the services just to walk out into the parking lot and see that they did not rotate my tires at all. They left my car window open in the pouring rain I had to drive home with a soaked driver seat. Last Friday I brought my car down because I had trouble getting it started and they told me everything was fine and specifically told me that they tested my battery and it’s perfectly fine and then 5 days later tell me I need a new battery and charged me for a second time when they just check the battery less than a week ago and told me it wasn’t the battery. I do not trust these people and I do not recommend this car garage to anyone and the people running this operation are liars and crooks.

I just purchased a car from Herb Connolly Hyundai and I couldn’t be more disappointed. I was told the vehicle had a certain feature, not once, but three times by two different staff members. It was one of my two MUST haves. They are not honoring their promises and I am so heartbroken that I spent so much money on a car I hate. I have literally been in tears over this. The sales person knows he made a mistake and back pedaled and lied. I’m so sad. This really stinks. I thought a family-owned business would have integrity. Clearly I was mistaken. Don’t go here. I recently purchased a new Santa Fe at the Norwood location, but the Framingham location is closer to home for me so I have been coming here for service. Both of the times I have came here for an oil change and tire rotation, I worked with service consultant Vivian martins.When I scheduled my first oil change, a woman over the phone knew it was my first and that I would be waiting, yet failed to tell me about having a complimentary car cleaning during the oil change. When I arrived and learned about this and that it could take up to two hours total, I was extremely upset to turn a free car cleaning down because I didn’t have the time to wait.Vivian however, turned everything around when I arrived for the appointment. She is upfront and transparent, respectful and caring, and wants what’s best for you as if your car is her own. Both times that I have came now, she has taken the time to explain the service coverage that I have and she wants to make sure that you understand. She clarifies the expected price and time of service before you sign multiple times so that you know what to expect. While waiting, I have heard her explain to multiple customers that she will do everything she can to take care of them and get the price of their services to be as reasonable as she can. This type of dedication is not common today and really goes a long way.Regardless of the overall service you receive, Vivian makes up for all of the difficulties you may have experienced. I seriously could not ask for better customer service and am extremely impressed. Give this woman a raise!

This was by far the worst car buying experience I have EVER had. At first, they wouldn’t sell us the car because they didn’t have the title. When they finally would sell us the car, the process took days. They didn’t take care of switching our insurance and the salesperson lied about being able to transfer registration “due to an out of state license.”After 2 weeks of back and forth (and driving without registration or inspection) we were finally told the registration was ready and I could come pick it up and get an inspection sticker. When I came to pick it up, registration was no where to be found. After 20 minutes they printed a new one and sent me to get an inspection. Which took over an hour. Not to mention, the managers and the people in the service department were very rude.

I absolutely love my new car! However, I did take one star off because they didn’t fill my gas tank before I picked it up and they also left some trash in the glove compartment. My brothers car broke down, no engine light light on. He and AAA said its in the gas line Well, they replaced converter and charges him 1,900. He got his car back went to Stop and Shop and it broke down. They fixed it and didnt charge him...NEVER telling him what they did. NEVER giving him paperwork on what they did. NOW the engine light turns on. He brought it back up and still not fixed. This is not a proper place to take a car, except for an oil change.

I stopped by the dealership to see if they could help me out with a service issue - it looked like my skid plate was loose and hanging beneath my car. As soon as I got there, I showed Cesar the issue and he said they could take a look but would have to charge a $140 diagnostic fee to see what the issue was. (The only issue was the loose skid plate). Without even looking at it, he said it looks like it was broken so it would likely be a $500 part plus the $140 fee or they might be able to secure it (still $140 diagnostic fee). I hesitantly handed over my key since I’m traveling later this week and needed it fixed ASAP. Luckily I reconsidered and asked for my key back. I decided to get a second opinion and stopped by the Valvoline down the road on my way home. A very friendly and helpful mechanic noticed the hanging part as soon as I pulled up. He quickly took a look and replaced each and every screw for a simple fix free of charge. I was there for less than 5 minutes total which goes to show that the goal of the dealership was really just to get my $$ with little to no customer service.

I brought my 2019 Hyundai Sonata in for recalls they replaced what was needed but in doing that a technician broke a part of my door panel. They said they would replace it free and the part would be come in at the end of the week. I received a call saying the part one in and went the next day only for them to say they ordered the wrong part without even looking at my car. So they said to come back in a couple days and they call me when its in. A week later and i still havent received call so I drove the 30 minute drive for the third time and when I arrived it was as if they didnt even know why I was there and now its been over 2 months and not even a single phone call or letter of apology. I ordered the piece on eBay which was less then the gas money it took to drive back and fourth three times. I wont be bringing my car to this dealership again.

I will never have work done her again. I took my car in for an inspection and oil change. I told them up front that the break lights work but the bulb isn’t connecting. I told them that we tested them before I came and the bulbs themselves work but they don’t seem to stay connected.They claim the bulbs were dead, and charged me $17.50 for new ones, which was ridiculous. And then they charged me another $68 for putting the bulbs in. They said the socket is fine however they also fixed a tab in the socket that was keeping the bulb from connecting. They said they didn’t charge to fix the tab. The tab was what I was trying to tell them needed to be fixed in the first place.I won’t come back.

I just bought a Hyundai Tucson from Peter Franklin. My experience could not have been better. I had had a Santa Fe since 2006, so it was time for a new car. Peter listened to what I wanted, was clear in his explanations, and answered all of my questions. He did not try to upsell me and I really felt like he was really trying to match the car to me needs and wants rather than just trying to move a car off the lot.I picked up the car today. Ke-Shawn Alexander walked me through all of the paperwork, explaining each document I had to sign. Then Jarred Goodrow (delivery specialist) thoroughly explaining all the bells and whistles that my new car has.Before a left, all of them assured me that if I had any questions or concerns going forward to feel free to call them at any time.I can not recommend them all more highly.

I purchased a 2018 Hyundai with low milage in September with Bill Singh as my salesman. By May, I noticed the car sounded really loud when accelerating. I took it to a local mechanic, who after 3 minutes of inspecting it, took me underneath the car to show me how the entire exhaust system was literally TAPED together, and also cracked in multiple places. I obviously did not trust the dealership to properly fix the car as they had completely botched the repair the first time, so my mechanic replaced the piping and gave me a new muffler. I strongly suggest AVOIDING this dealership when purchasing a car, and avoiding when you need any service/repairs.

Let me start off by saying that my experience at this dealership has not been a good one, Took me almost two weeks to get a sales person to call me back in regard to trying to schedule a test drive, I called multiple times as well as submitted requests via this online tool with no response from anyone in sales . I had to reach out to the General manger via email, who told me he would meet with me directly. I made an appointment arrived and was directed to a sales associate. I loved the truck that I went to see however I has asked the sales associate about a noise I heard and unsmooth shifts when the vehicle changed gears… he told me he would have a tech look at it, later he told me there was nothing wrong with the vehicle. Another thing that kind of got to me was the sales manager wouldnt budge on the price even though it was higher priced then others with the same specs and options and was slightly condescending with his reasoning for not budging on the price. Gave it a couple of days and decided to get the truck (I really liked it) on June 6th when I bought the truck I was told they would contact me within a couple of days when my registration was ready, so I could get the truck inspected. Fast forward 12 days and I reach out to the sales associate about my registration who tells me in writing (email) that he got busy and forgot to reach out to me (at that time mass law mandated inspection no later than 7 days). So over those 12 days of driving the truck I discover while trying all the buttons and plugs there was something wrong with the socket that was more complicated than just changing a fuse. So I return to get my registration and while there I tell the sales associate Ive been dealing with about the issue with the plug and he advises me to talk to the service desk. The service desk says they will look at it while my car is getting inspected. My vehicle gets inspected and they confirm that there is an underlying issue with the vehicle however they are unable to address it at that time and that I need to schedule a service appointment, I relay this to my sales associate who tells me it will be covered by my warranty (lemon law warranty). I went home and the next day I emailed the sales associate asking when the earliest I could come in to get my vehicle looked at .. they never replied. At this point I say forget it and cut my losses. Fast forward to Tuesday, September 15 the vehicle is riding rough I bring it in to get looked at a friend’s shop and it turns out I need a new wheel bearing as well as brakes. Friday September 25th I’m leaving work approach a red light and come to a stop, light turns green and I hit the gas and the engine just revs and I don’t move. I call AAA and the guy that shows up informs me that there is a current lawsuit against GM due to issues affecting the 15-19 Silverado, (quick google search confirms this). Apparently, this is a known issue and has been so for years. The AAA tech after assessing my vehicle telsl me he believes my transmission is completely blown, which is later confirmed by a transmission shop. I call the dealership to see if there is anything they can do or if anything will be covered considering this is a 26000 vehicle that I just purchased several months ago. I get connected to my sales associate who tells me I have exceeded the lemon law warranty however to reach out to the service department to see if there was anything they could do, he further advised me that if they cant help me to call him right back and he will talk to the manger and try to help me.. Well I called the service desk and it took all of 30 seconds for them to tell me the conclusion and they made it very clear I was going to have to pay out of pocket for the repairs and told me to contact their Chevy dealer. I disconnected from they and called the sales associate back who ignored my call, I left a voicemail and have yet to get a call back. My truck is currently at a transmission shop and I was told this is going to cost me at the least 3500 for a used or rebuilt transmission.

I will make sure I leave a very thorough feedback on CarGurus forum and other social media platforms and let buyers know about this terrible dealership.I was given an appointment for a 2017 Tesla Model S with 46K miles on it. I dont think they have any coordination whatsoever because of the following reasons :1. No sync between online appointment scheduler and on-ground dealership.When I showed up, they had no clue which car I was talking about2. No cleanliness as the representative assisting me knew where the car was parked and disappeared in to the lot looking for the car for more than 20 mins. I would have been glad if they said the car was unavailable. The most horrible exterior and interior, stinking unclean car with chewing gum rappers lying around, food crumbs, beverage cans and what not. I have a feeling there could be rodents living in it too.3. No sense of customer service as the electric car has no charge and the representative asks me to take it out for a spin while the warning sign showed up saying very low battery, only 20 mile range left4. No clue about sales Lol!. When I asked about the price to negotiate and ready to buy the car even after the horrible cleanliness and unable to test drive due to no charge on electric car scheduled for test drive. Lol!!! The representative goes in the back and talks to a random guy and tells me the owner of Herb Conolly himself suggests that they cannot give me even $100 on $60K price listed (Car Gurus clearly shows it is listed at $6K higher than market price as it is 4 years old with 46K miles and multiple owners on it)5. No sense of customer service. I doubt how they are able to sell even a single car. Shocking to see such horrible people even exist in service industry. I think there should a regulation authority who can keep a check on such low quality dealerships who waste everybodys time.Car was not clean and customer service was horrible after driving 50 miles to test drive a car. What a waste of my time. Goodbye!

Bought a new 2021 Tucson from them, asked for all season mats for it. They said, if I finance thru them. They did my bank, so I went with them. Sam was updating me on the tech of the car and I noticed no mats. Sam asked about the mats, Bill S told me that they ordered them, be there in a few days, last Tuesday, so far nothing. I have called, texted and emailed, no response. Funny thing, I was asked to give them a 5 star rating!! They gave me some used mats for the front of the car, still have them! I hope there is nothing wrong with the Tucson, I dont trust these guys, well Sam was spot on. Bill S seemed overworked! I thought Steve would be on top of things.....and we wanted to get another car the following weekend! Well, not from here.

We bought a car at another Hyundai 4 years, zero mileages and because this is the closest to our house we bought the car here due to an issue we’ve been having. First time we paid almost $500 dollars for something they fix and it didn’t last 3 weeks. We called them and once again we took the car. The next day my husband received a call that they found a problem which it was the same issue they told us weeks prior and we thought it was the issue they fixed when we paid $500 dollars. They asked 3k to fix it. My husband refused to pay this amount and when he was leaving the dealer the car wasn’t running the same way it was before but worse. We took the car to another mechanic and he discovered they connected some wires wrong and after running and doing so investigations he didn’t find the issue they told us it would cost 3k to fix. So people, be careful and Always look for 2nd opinion. It’s just not fair to take advantage of people when you work hard to have something nice.

Tre never rushed me or made me feel pressured to buy a vehicle. Ive been coming here for 3 1/2 years. Why? Because they treat you like a human. They perform the work thats needed. They dont force repairs, that can wait, on you. They have harassed me numerous times to come in for a service that was not needed and lied to me. The service associate told me to look at the owners manual for service requirements. I looked and the owners manual stated something totally different from what they said to me. They even told me my warranty would be voided if I did not have it serviced immediately. My brother purchased a Santa Fe with a cracked windshield. We tried to go back in and have the situation rectified less than 12 hours of picking up vehicle. Explained that I work for BDC for another dealership and I understand that this is a safety issue and they shouldn’t Have sold him this vehicle in this condition. I was asked by Easton, “ why didn’t he purchase it through you instead?” Bill Singh was the car sales men of the vehicle. Staff was incredibly rude and unhelpful. 10/10 do not recommend purchasing your vehicle here. Shady staff and unethical business practices.

I received truly an exceptional experience in dealing with Dan, the service manager at Framingham Hyundai. My wife and I are very compromised with regard to Covid-19, and I explained my concerns to Dan while making my service appointment. Dan went over-the-top in making sure all my concerns were addressed. As a result we felt safe and protected during the entire service. It was the first time that I have ever had such a positive, less stressful experience in buying a car. Our salesman, Roy Porter, was great as well as Josh, who taught me about the car features and the financing manager, Rodrigo as well as the sales manager. I drove down from Vermont to look at two cars. Accepted an offer on one. After discussing financing with the salesperson and the fact that I am a loyal customer with my local credit union, the manager came over. He was an older gentleman, tall and skinny. He informed me that they make money on the auto loans and that they would not sell me the car if I used my own financing. He was rude and caustic. I left without a car, and was very disappointed in the experience. There are dealerships that mention this requirement in the description of the car, they did not, and felt blindsided by this requirement.

The people and the mechanics were awesome. The work done was great. However, they charged $700 for parts that I found on Hyundais own website for $440. They then charged $390 to install the overpriced parts.So, even though the work was done properly, I will not be returning to be overcharged.
