I trust Dr. Bhan with my eye care. She has done 2 cataract surgeries for me and Dr. Bhan did a wonderful job. Her staff is excellent and I highly recommend using her for your eye care needs!
Dr. Bhan is most compassionate and caring human being I have met in the medical world. I am so grateful Dr. M. Bahan is my eye doctor
I have type II diabetes, this can effect my vision and is so important to keep track of year after year.I have been going here for years. The staff has always been Amazing and very helpful with every aspect of my visit.I have had a wonderful, informative visit every year.Mona Bhan M.D. is the only person I will trust with my eyes.
Receptionist were totally pleasant and COVID-19 precautions taken seriously
The woman who answers the phone at this location is extremely short and rude with people inquiring about services here. Customer service gets an F !! As typically the first point of contact for patients you would expect to be better received, seeing as this creates the first impression of your practice. Apparently this is not a concern for the woman that answers the calls for your front desk.
Right next to my primary care Dr potters office. Walked in and made an appointment for the same week.Hardly a wait which was great.Dr Bhan was great and so was Megan.Front desk ladies were pleasant and I was in and out fairly quickly. No complaints and would visit again for my 3 month follow up visit.
Whoever answered the phone just now made me want to go there and talk in person.. rude.. someone pass her a friendly voice.
I recently went to the Eye Center and had a comprehensive and detailed eye exam done. The experience was great. The staff was friendly and the place had a local old doctor office feel, which is getting lost with all the big groups taking over small doctor offices these days.I did see a few reviews here talking about billing and not being happy about it.I have worked for some of the biggest insurance companies and hospital systems across the country and it is no surprise that people are not happy about them and it translates into venting their frustrations on the doctors through negative reviews !(What else are you going to do - write a review about Aetna on how they denied your claim !)The ONLY people in this whole system of large insurance companies and large profit driven hospitals is the doctor and nurses and people who actually provide you care. It is NOT the paper pusher, profit driven and insensitive organizations. When I worked with Insurance companies - denying claims was the norm. Making things difficult for ordinary people was the name of the game - because every claim denied and every person frustrated in pursuing the claim meant more profits - it is as simple as that !Customer service at the insurance companies (if you can call it that!) was just a person to talk to - they didnt care to actually solve your problem. They would hear you and then ask you to do 10 more things and call them back and they would repeat this cycle till you gave up.The hold times for the doctors line was even worse and with millions of claims filed and denied each day, the insurance companies rely on you giving up. All that meant more profits from them.Last year, half of a major insurance companys profits came from interest from the payments they held back from doctors and hospitals for a few months more !!Now if you have had insurance and have been paying your premiums for years (10-30 years) and one day you actually need that insurance for a large procedure (say the hospital bill was $100,000). You know what that is where the Insurance companies hire detectives and pore through your insurance application, look at all medications you took, all doctors reports and try to find something that they can use to deny your claim (pre-existing condition as they call it). A recent case had someone being denied a huge claim and cancelling the policy (called rescind the policy) because they had taken some acne medication and had not disclosed that they had acne in their application !! (Google acne insurance denied rescind - you will see they saved $300 million by cancelling 19000 policies or so due to whatever reason they could find!!)That is how crazy it is.The doctors and nurses are not there to do this to you - they are there to cure you and that is what they do. They are more human than a 800 number on the back of your card.Treat them well and you will also be treated and cured. So many young people are not going into this noble profession anymore because of all this nonsense and I am so terrified that I wont be able to see a doctor in 10 years when I really need them.Lets not give young kids more reason to not take up medicine as a profession.
Would NEVER return to office!! Big problems with billing department!!
