I have tried this place almost two times and both the times I liked the food and it fulfilled my expectations. Importantly, I just bought only the bucket biryani and its great all the time and very tasty. Its quite a big size (serves 5). I can vouch for their biryani taste and quality but I dont know about other dishes because I havent tried it. Great place for different varieties of biriyani. Also there is a Indian groceries next door, so its always convenient for us to jump in to do groceries and then get our package on the way out. Worth a try π₯³π₯³π₯³
This is one of the best places if you like to eat on a paper plate with plastic spoons. Best time to go is at night for breakfast because the service is so prompt and quick. Youll enjoy the smell of the food in your fingers for days after the meal because there is no hand soap in the bathroom. This restaurant is diet friendly because you end up not eating anything you ordered. All in all a very happy experience and a must try if you dont have a life.
Catered for an event from them.Their customer service is really good. Food tasted authentic, fresh and delicious. Will definitely order again.
Weve eaten in this place multiple times, mostly Indian Chinese food. Its good, I like it better than Paradise Biryani of Westborough. But the pickup service is awful. They grossly underestimate time, often youd have to wait for an hour or more when you arrive at the estimated time, and they continously misinform you about the ETA. Ive not dined in for a long time due to Covid, but if you dont have one hour to stand inside their restaurant in proximity of mostly unmasked people, do yourself a favor and dont order for pickup.
Busiest place ever. Fast paced. Reasonable wait time being so busy. Plenty of parkingStaff always cordail.
Do you guys wanna guess what it is? Itβs an iron stapler pin inside the shrimp briyani. Itβs terrible out there. I am totally disappointed with their quality. Thank god I didnβt swallow it. Please do not have you or your kids eat here. Itβs very serious I donβt know whatβs my condition if I had swallowed this.
Authentic Indian food, delicious, spicy as needed, very well served. Chicken starters in variety of flavours. Must try. I highly recommend for both dine in and to-go. Had a complementary desert on occasion of Dussehra as well. Additional perks, Indian groceries next to restaurant.
GREAT FOOD AND GREAT SPECIALS FOR PARTY RESERVATIONS.... THEIR DESERTS ARE MY FAVORITE
I have been ordering bucket biriyani(chicken dum and vijayawada) for a very long time and they never have disappointed me!!
This used to be a really good restaurant but prioritizing profit over food and service now. We ordered chicken biryani and veg Hakka noodles for our Halloween party. Quality and taste gone down the crapper. Clearly they stuck in old tandoori chicken in rice in the name of biryani, and no fried onions or mint leaves (a must for dum biryani). Hakka noodles just had frozen peas and carrot mix from frozen aisle, no cabbage, green peppers or spring onions (again, a must). 2 stars only for being edible.
Amazing food! Must try South Indian food in MA!Especially Curry Leave Goni!
Good place to get Indian food.Lots of options in the menu. Usual place to get the comfort home food I miss from my country.Courteous staff and neat restaurant.
Very tasty food that I have eaten in a while. Every food item that we ordered is yummy. I highly recommend this place
The staff asked to leave a review, and I was happy enough that Im obliging. Had a late lunch there on a weekday while on an errand. Good food, polite staff, not too busy.
This place is wonderful. Friendly and courteous staff and incredible food. They are also taking enough precautions during Pandemic for indoor seating.
Pick up is such a pain. Placed order online and it said ready for pickup but had to wait half and hr to get it. Food is great though. Make sure to wait atleast an hour before going to pickup food.
Been waiting for an hour for my order in a literally empty restaurant. They seem to be busy delivering their doordash orders. Taste doesnt matter if the service is so poor.
I am super impressed with the food and the catering service. I ordered food from them for my kidβs graduation party and it was delicious. The quantity was perfect and the food was parceled and sealed perfectly for the Venue.Thank you Sunil for being so on top of things and making sure that our party was a hit.
This place is consistently dropping quality. The food is not as it used to be, service is poor. Diners are low priority over app orders. They cannot manage waiting customers. Worst: you are served with plastic spoons-forks and foam plates-bowls!
Tried a variety of Biryanies, all were awesome. The guys were amazing hosts. We came all the way from CT.
Great food. Worth the drive from Boston for spicy, home style food and vibe! Must try the karepaku chicken and hot jalebi!
Canβt tell you if the food is good or not. Was in Framingham, decided to give this place a try tonight. Called and ordered for pick up at 7:35pm. They said it would take 30-46 minutes. It is now 9:10pm and my order still isnβt ready. I think Iβm more in shock than mad. Iβve never ordered for pickup and waited for this long. I donβt know if theyβre short a cook or something. But basic customer service dictates you tell if thereβs an issue. If service will be this bad then donβt take orders. Close for the day. I have no idea if my order was ever made. Decided to go elsewhere. And wonβt ever bother with this place again. I seriously canβt believe it.
Average taste. If you are really craving for South Indian taste I wouldnβt go here. Starters are good but biryaniβs are not up to the mark
Typical Hyderabadi bawarchi Biryani. Ulav Charu biryani is a must try.
The most authentic biryani in New England. The food hits just the right spots. Loved the Vijayawada chicken biryani (boneless) and the Karampodi chicken (if youre looking for something spicy). The staff is very warm and welcoming. The portion sizes are perfect. I love this place! π―
Delicious!!! Very flavorful dishes,One of my favorite restaurants.I have been there many times and I suggest this place to my friends and family.
Poor service. Pick up orders are usually an hour and a half delayed. Do not expect any communication if you place an order you just have to sit down hoping that your order will show up after an hour or so. Unacceptable service level. You are better off trying some other Indian restaurants near by. I wish there was a zero in ratings.
We had very tasty vankaya biryani and the hospitality is very nice. We will definitely come back.
This place is doubtless one of the best place in the neighborhood. Every time I go there I am awfully pleased. They hold their high standard service and the highest level of meals they offer. You always win with this place. Warmly recommended.
Loved the food. But service couldve been better.
We loved the food here. But Ive to stand there for 40 mins to pickup my order. They keep telling wait for five mins and your order will be ready. Instead of that provide the new time estimate and we can do some other activity instead of standing there.
Definitely my go to place for their authentic Biryanis. Pretty packed on weekends so expect a little wait time but besides that the food is delicious and the staff are welcoming. Goat Dum varieties and boneless chicken biryani varieties are my personal favorite along with their curry leaves chicken and karampodi chicken!!!
Great taste!! Spice level is high. Make sure to order mild for kids and medium for a kick.
Even though taste is ok, I waited for biriyani for 1:30 hr, after 1:30 hrs they said we are not having what I have ordered!!!No proper response
Great food, mediocre service. Not totally uncharacteristic of Indian restaurants and the bias of Indian servers towards fellow Indians.
This is one of the best biryani places I have eaten at, I frequent here with friends to buy their economical bucket of biryani. They also have other delicious foods such as dosa, idli, tikkas etc. Very versatile Indian food restaurant. Highly recommend. The staff is also quite friendly and accommodating!
We live in Shrewsbury but our weekend hub to sit and dine in is Bawarchi Framingham with all our friends and their families of 25 people including Kids. They have excellent variety of options for both veg and non veg and most gracious service ...Always Recommend Bawarchi ...Must try Nuthaki Biryanis(my fav)
First time customer, ordered 2 favorites, chicken tikka saag and aloo gobi masala, delivered. I completely enjoyed both dishs which came with basmati rice, which was so light. Definately a place Ill recommend to friends and family.
Dishes to try -Butter chickenKadhai chickenMutton mughlaiKeema biryani
Best place to try south Indian style Biryanis!
I like the place mainly for the Biryani and south Indian delicacies. Biryani of course is among the best around Boston and Boston suburbs. Must try for Biryani. Dosas are also tasty. Place is clean. Service is good. Restrooms were clean and maintained. Another favorite dishes worth mentioning are paneer Tikka (tandoori or clayoven menu) and chicken dishes are good too. I would recommend this place.
Some of the best Indian food Ive ever had
Worst service. Waited for 1 hour and he served to people who came late. After an hour he gave knor tomato soup. Inspite of telling them 4 times he kept telling sorry. We cancelled all the orders and went to near by restaurant.
Great vegan options and very covid safe!
Poor service. Atleast put some time and remove weekend only items from the Grubhub menu, for weekdays. The lady was rude and declined to cancel the order on their end lying they do not have an option. It is again a pain to call Grubhub and get the order canceled for a mistake that is on restaurantβs side.
Our favorite place for biryani! They make one of the best Hyderabadi dum biryani in the greater Boston area. Found this place online last year during lockdown, from then every Friday we order biryani from here. Also, for any occasion, bawarchi biryani is a must! Another favorite dish is chicken magestic! Love the food and the quantity. Ill highly recommend this place.
A bit disappointed. Will not be ordering again in the future. Food was okay. Packaging threw me off a bit being packaged in plasticware that isnt meant for hot food. For the price vs the amount of food wasnt justified. Lastly naan had no flavor and butter chicken was a bit spicey but didnt have much taste to it. There are better options around in the area
You have to wait for food for an hour just for bread. Worst service possible in area. I would recommend you to go to a taco bell instead. Also, come on covid is just a reason, stop serving in disposables and paper plates, Its disrespectful for a restaurant. Thanks,
Bucket biryani is the best.
Excellent food. Were always satisfied with the quality and taste they offer every time. When I first moved to Boston a couple of years ago, I didnt like it but now in the recent 6 months, theyve improved a lot in terms of quality, quantity and taste. Nuthaki weekend special biryani is my all time Favorite. Only thing is, when you go in the Fridays and Saturdays, expect longer wait times.
This place is understaffed! We waited for good 20 minutes before I had to get up from my table and literally ask for someone to take our order. The order arrived after another 30 minutes. My last visit here. I understand restaurants can get busy but this is a totally unmanaged space !!
We got the boneless chicken biryani bucket and thought the amount of food you get for the price is very good. The food has good spice and the overall taste is quite good. Service is a little slow, so expect to wait a little bit to get your order.
I ordered the biryani bucket and it was really worth the price and taste.. I went to Bawarchi biryanis in texas at a few spots and the taste is very similar if not the same..
Tasty food. Definitely a go to place for biryanis. Love their weekend specials.
Wow! Best π Indian Restaurant in food was scrumptious with fresh tasting ingredients. Both curries I ordered tasted great.Thank you so much Bawarchiπ
One of the best Indian restaurants in MA.The team is highly helpful and qualified. The food you get is first-rate.They have best North Indian dishes in town...Highly recommended!!
One of worst biryani ever had. Its just white rice..with no biryani masala. No salt nothing. Wasted my time and money. The servers forget the orders and what they need to serve in plate. Also the food served here is cold and not cooked freshly. This rice doesnt even qualify to be called as biryani. Its just coloured regular rice with piece of chicken. Those who gave 4 & 5stars dont know what a biryani is.False reviews spoil peoples lunches and dinners.
Poor customer service. Delay in order placed.Food tastes great, though the order gets delayed.
Lovely place. You can find other Indians here in their natural habitat feasting on our national food, biryani.
Good food. Slow service.
Best biryani in town π₯
Nice people, food & place to dine in with family.Had all Veggy stuff & tastyπππ
Good food reasonable price π
Nope definitely not place to have great food or at least I didnt like it.1) Opening day ordered boneless biryani and Guntur chicken starter.- bonesless biryani 2.5- Guntur chicken 32) one more time in first week ordered vijayawada chicken biryani and karampodi chicken- vijayawada chicken biryani 2- karampodi chicken 2.5So if you like to try out new places like me try it and comment your favorite dish
Not just slow but very bad service
Food is good, tastes perfect. But they are not equipped for busy days. We had to wait over 2 hours than the given pick up time, as they had too many orders and couldnβt handle them. It happened thrice to us. Doesnβt mind the delay, it can happen, but at least have a system which notifies the customer when the order is ready. In that way we donβt have to wait for hours in front of the store.
Worst time management. Waited for more than a hour for an average food..
Good to give a try for Indian food once in a while
Worst haleem I ever had. The chicken haleem was good but the goat haleem for this week is too bad.
From the restaurant onto our counter top and into trash can all in span of 6 hours.Picked up a large chicken biryani family tray for a party. Biryani had gone bad within 3 hours from picking up and had to end up trashing it all. The amount of biryani in the pictures and an additional 8 plates all went into trash. Probably packed a stale biryani.
My friend ordered food and was asked to come pick up at 6pm for a poker party and still food is yet to get ready. Waiting for pickup. Worst experience and delays
Their Biryani is hands down, the best in the town I have had so far!! I have driven hours for this biryani! But, if you are looking for north Indian dishes, try somewhere else.
Ordered hot and sour soup and they served hot soup in a Plastic bowl . It turned me off to eat . What is the use of dine in . Using the pandemic as excuse to serve in plastic. They should close dine in and just do take out.
One of the worst restaurant in USA with poor customer service, we were 4 friends visited the restaurant on Sept 5 2021, they made us wait for about 45 min and didnt give our food. All the other tables were getting their order delivered. They are very partial to Togo orders etc. Never visit this restaurant if youre in a hurry or need to catch flight. Cannot really comment on food because we never got our order.
Horrible service. They donβt have time to spend 2 mins on the phone to take an order. The representative was not even ready to wait for 1 minute even when I am placing an $50+ order. Would not recommend due to quality of service.
It was good until they stopped giving Samosa chaat with ingredients separately. In the era of take away if a customer want things packed separately so that the crunchiness is intact, they refused to that. Didnt understand why?Owner: We normally do honor this type requests during off-peak hours.Although, I was refused multiple times recently. Moreover, should one change their eating hours just to avoid restaurants peak hours?
We ordered fried rice and Manchuria. They are the worst. Fried rice didnβt even look or taste like fried rice. The worst schezwan fried rice ever.
Amazinggg food and good quantity
We had the worst experience at this restaurant. The food is bad and the service especially was horrible. The guy incharge named himself as Akhil Reddy was the rudest we have ever seen. No manners while talking with customers, no discipline and completely dishonest. He mentioned he was the manager of the restaurant. If this is how managers talk with women customers we are not ever going back to this restaurant.
I am from Texas, you can understand my food expectations and so disapponted with all the restaurants near by, then heard about bawarchi and vistied once. This is the BEST restaurant for Biryani in MA. I LOVE it.
Ordered Avakai Goat Biriyani take away.Quantity: for 2 people was Good.Briyani Rice: was dry - sometimes eating Briyani after a tastes good (not sure if it cooked a day before), but NOT Avakai as it dries up fast. The rice was reheated.Goat Pieces: they were chewy and dry not juicy. This was cooked a day before and they reheated the goat pieces. They did NOT have the flavor of the avakai. The rice and goat was cooked separately and mixed...The Briyani was hot...People: they were professional and welcoming.
They serve absolutely delicious biryanis. Consistent taste and service every time.
One of the best biryani in Ma.Even tandoori fish, flavor an taste was perfect.
Just awesome food! Try karampodi chicken as starter and Vijayawada biriyani.Just amazing, large quantities and best taste. Totally worth it. The price is pretty cheap too.
Went there with co-workers before COVID. The service was super slow, hour+ wait but I liked the food so I decided to do the take out. Online order process was painless, and pick up was fine.. I have people with allergies in the family so I pointed it out on the order - I think thats pretty basic request in 2020 in US...Well, I find out there are nuts in the food.. Couldnt believe my eyes. Almost caused a trip to emergency room, it was good that I found out before other people allergic to it didnt eat it.I will know to stay away from this place for the sake of people with allergies..
We like a lot hanging out. Yesterday we went to this excellent place which friends told us about. We spent a lovely time there with superb cooking and a courteous crew and a great cuisine. We put this place in our list and we will definitely come back soon. Highly recommended.
We had bawarchi special chicken biryani which was nice and flavorful with correct kevel of spice. We had ordered avakaya chicken biryani aswell which was very spicy. Spiciness took over the flavor of the biryani. Would not recommend that one.
