This is a great, local, mom & pop type Indian grocery store that also has a small prepared food kitchen. Their food kitchen appears to be all vegetarian. I am not an expert with Indian food, but the few things I have tried over time have always been hot and of a high quality of preparation. Most recently I went with a plain/classic batch of Samosa but Id also suggest the Pakora, Paneer, and Jalebi. Cheers to this local shop. Well be back!
Great selection of Indian grocery staples. The kitchen makes fresh food to go. Delicious Chole Bhature, Aaloo Tikki. Takes you straight back to Lajpat Nagar and eating on the street corner.
Good prices, Great selection of frozen indian food, and everything else you need to make a spicy meal. Good prices too!
Very small and congested.Cooked food are good there though
Great and flavorful food, I like the mood the place has, and the staff members were friendly. Will definitely come back.
Theyve always been super helpful when I come in and have a ton of items for a small space.
You can get necessary items here, reasonable price. Some items are overpriced though. There is a small corner for Singara, Samosa etc. The place is congested.
If you like samosas and Pakoras then this place would be good for deai shopping
Come here for impossible to find stuff like fresh curry leaves, chillies and various ingredients you cant find at a standard super market. Worth going in for the fresh food in the rear as well. I buy all my spices here for more than just Indian cuisine, tons of bulk for unbelievable prices
Excellant Samosa
Great small store, amazing food, friendly folks
Just got here at 915pm, parking lot empty. we thought they were closed but still open! The store was empty which was less riskier and good to grab some items quickly. We always count on these guys, really never disappointed
This is the best indian store for your needs if you are in need of something found predominantly in the Northern parts of india. The owners are happy and nice people, the prices tend to be on the higher sidd mostly.
👍
It was my first time and they are well stocked. The staff was very friendly and willing to help a first timer with lots of questions. Definitely would visit again.
Ordered dahi vada papdi chat and look I want I got it looked like a curry of some sort. Look at the below picture wld u Cal tat papdi chaat? Total rip off for 7$. There was no vada in so called dahi vada papdi chaat. Few aloo pieces, few boiled chana and Kara para with dahi curry ... Wld not go back for chaat. They should Cal this dahi curry.
Great place for Indian food and spices
We have been to the store before and found it to be a good place for groceries and snacks from their Kitchen at the back. However, our experience today was simply impressive in these difficult times. We picked the store from Blackmirchi.com and ordered our groceries online. We got a call back from the store giving us a time for pickup. We drove up to the entrance and the groceries were loaded on to our car. All the items were neatly packed in cardboard boxes and the receipt and the grocery list was also in the box. The prices were all reasonable and the whole experience was so smooth that I would be going back to them for our grocery shopping.I really want to thank the store for stepping up during this time of crisis and executing it very carefully and at reasonable prices.Thank youRamesh
Great place for a quick Indian grocery run. You will find everything you need. Love the bread pakora and samosa from kitchen. The owner lady is nice and helpful. If you cant find something, just ask her.
This is a great place. Its on the smaller side, but there is a good selection and decent variety of spices and ingredients to choose from. Definitely would recommend if youre trying to cook an Indian style dish.
Quick grab and go for any grocery items you are looking for. Also the samosa chaat here is really delicious in several miles, or if even it is a samosa.
Very helpful and courteous owners and staff. They will usually have a pleasant word with you. The samosas as excellent. Good collection of Indian grocery and vegetables. Veggies sometimes are not the most fresh.
The owner (son of the owner I think) is very disrespectful. He started abusing me and my friends for no reason in Hindi and when we said we understand Hindi, he asked So what?. Would never go to this place and would ask anyone who reads this to avoid going to this place at any cost. Even if all the products are given for free.
The cook in the back abused us, talked trash about our family! I will never ever set foot in that store.
UPDATE: for last couple of times the dish I ordered(veg korma, paneer) seemed very bland & if I was in India I wouldn’t even eat such tasteless food.OLD: Good place to get groceries and very delicious freshly made food! The prices are really good and the staff are very friendly. I usually love the Samosas & entree’s
Small Desi grocery store. Offers uwide variety of items including spices, grains and fresh veggies. They have a snacks shop at Back offers pakoras, samosas and fried items and its yummy
The best INDIAN Grocery Store and very nice people and food from their kitchen is awesome
Great place to buy Indian groceries and they also have a food counter within that serves indian fast food and sweets
Lot of free parking, delicious take out food, quick service, owner always attend the clients
People can be friendlier and prices can be cheaper. But apart from that pretty good. It has good collection of products
We go there as it is the closest, even though it is not the best place, it is good enough for an Indian to quickly buy the groceries they want..They also have small kitchen, the food they serve is awesome... For that I recommend it to anyone wanting to pack up quick good food
Family owned small store but you find almost anything. Kitchen has real good food. And Samosas are yummy ! Owners are nice people and always ready to help even when there is a big queue.
Small store but carries a wide variety of products imported from India and cheaper than at supermarkets.
Horrible service. The cook in the back started abusing us and our friends. On two separate occasions he was extremely abrasive and I am never going there again!
Nice people. Good price and selections.
I love the fresh samosa at this place
I havent been in here in several years but its close for me compared to Waltham. Last time the staff was unwelcoming and the quality of the produce was really poor. Today, the tiny store was buzzing with activity and the selection was great. The produce was very fresh and my total purchase was cheaper than I expected. Thanks! I will definitely come again soon.
Tiny place with takeout at the back. They have a good selection of Indian spices and grocery
Pretty good small store for Indian foods in framingham near Staples and Bose. Dont have any non-veg items. There is also a takeaway inside having both veg and non-veg items. Thats also a must try.
I love this place! They make their own paneer! One thing I’m not clear on, is the take out food the same as what Rasoi had?
Nice little convenience store. Has a little bit of everything!
Quiet helpful staff and almost everything you need can be found here
Amazed by the quality, impressed by the quantity. The Samosa Chahd (sp) was the most flavorful Indian food I have ever tasted. I was completely full for$6.99
They sold spoiled Dosa Batter. The expiry date was more than a week later from the day I bought it but It was actually spoiled when I opened it the same day when I bought it.
Very nice place ! I liked the variety and the people were welcoming, conversational and kind !Things change and people change, this place was very warm and welcoming not only to a particular set, but also to an Indian girl like me.I was hesitant, but I LOVED it after I tried it ! I Love this place ! Its awesome !!The Food at the back is freshly prepared, I ordered a few sets of different food. You also get some really rare food like Amla achar, which is not available in certain suburban states.Overall, I loved this place !! You have to try this now and see for yourself !
Small and crowded place
Food in the back of the store is decent. Pretty tight on space and the prices are most definitely more than the other grocers. Even their produce selection is severely limited
The Kadai Paneer and Methi parathas are my favorite. The cooks in kitchen make really yummy food. Other staffs are also very friendly. They have all the items which we generally need. The vegetables are fresh.
This place has a lot of the usual Indian groceries you would get, but beware of the quality. We have had a few instances where we got rice, other products, that were bad once we opened the packets, and had to return them. One MAJOR issue with the this store if their checkout kiosk. We have had an experience, have heard a few from our friends, and were witness to a few of them as well, say your total comes to $50, and you see $50 on the screen. Now, when the bill is being printed, and you are given the receipt to sign, it suddenly says $65. If you dont pay attention, you will be duped very easily. The problem is that for some reason (not sure if its the machine or the person handling the machine) increases the counts of items you bought.
Veggies are fresh ..all indian groceries are available ..
It has all required Indian grocery but not too many choices and is small and little pricy when compares to Patel Brothers or Indian Market. Perfect for us to pick something quick
Nice grocery store, convenient. Some items are expensive because of the location
Great variety of indian food, spices and snacks..reasonable rate.
Really tasty Indian chat.. Freshly made.
Small but decent Indian grocery. They got all the items we need. The kitchen in the back gives you Samosas and Pakoras hot. Conveniet place.
This grocery store is very small and it has a limited selection of Indian groceries but there is a little place in the back that has decent Indian street food. However, the people dont care about their customers and the place needs some major improvement to appeal to new crowds and as the shop is old, it drives people to go to Shrewsbury to go and get their groceries.
Very easy to find stuff, all great quality, great service and reasonably-priced!
Been coming here for 15+ years. Tightly packed store. Probably the best selection in the local area between Waltham and Shrewsbury.
Good Indian super market with lots of Indian ingredients and masala. Even you can get pan items.
Convenient, Limited options, avoid Sunday evenings and double check your receipts !
I moved from waltham to framingham I was looking for Indian grocery store closest store I found indian food and spices in framingham nice and clean with take out kitchen awesome indian street food with chat bhandar samosa chilly chat is very yummy and reasonable price and some price are less then waltham store.............
You must have heard about businesses that rip off customers, this is one of them. They charge more if there is no rate label on the item. The lady behind the counter scanned multiple times same item, on being asked she unapologetically removed the item. This happened not once but twice.if you are not careful while checking out, you can be sure to pay 5-10% more on your grocery bill, on already overpriced items.
Indian grocery store THE BEST
Ready to eat food items a bit overpriced IMO but got good stuff. the little kitchen at the back makes some yummy stuff.
Small Indian grocery store selling spices and herbs
Selection is kind of limited. Theyve got the basics, but not anything super extensive. This is commensurate with their footprint, its just not a big store.
Good selection of goods, not the best prices.
I like this place because for me its like this place is wired I didnt want to I dont know 2go I who want to go I go I like this place its this place I didnt wanted to go I go to whatd wanted to go like this place is this plaptic
A bit congested, and stock can use some refreshing every now and then. However, has all your must haves for Indian cooking
Great food choices, All good!
Small but great
Very limited variety, the space is also rather small and crowded and the costs are definitely higher than the average grocery store on my list
Can get all daily needs
Good place for shopping indian food items
Very great food
This is the only place to purchase Indian veg and grocery in Framingham area, prices are bit higher than other store .
Good food
Good Indian grocery collection
They need expand some space. It always feels over crowded.
Good place for Indian groceries
Cleaning was not properly done.
Okay place for groceries as a last resort!
