There isn’t a better dining experience in all of Chicagoland then this one of a kind stop. Not only is the food extremely authentic, fresh, and amazing but so is the hospitality. For 20 years I’ve been going to this restaurant and nothing has changed but time. You can’t ask for better people then Pete, Virginia and Johnny. A pure staple of a restaurant and great find!!

I come here often. The food is always fresh and homemade style. The staff is always friendly and they treat you like family. I usually get the chicken dinner with extra juice. If you’re ever feeling under the weather this is a great go-to! It also comes with homemade soup. Enjoy!

I celebrated my PhD earlier this evening in this excellent restaurant. happy to tell that we enjoyed a brilliant evening and the restaurant was evidently one of the reasons for this happy celebration. The crew participated in a sweet style, the food was yummy and my buddies were very happy. We shall absolutely visit again for more celebrations. Thank you very much.

I haven’t been here in a few years due to moving out of the area. But my parents went here for years and brought me with. Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner, Everything they make is absolutely delicious! The owners are extremely kind and treat their costumers like family. Something that My Mom and Dad really appreciated. I miss y’all and I hope y’all are doing well. Next time your in Frankfort you should definitely stop by. I highly recommend their traditional Greek dishes. Like the Pasticho, Greek chicken potatoes and rice and Avgolemeno. Which is probably the greatest soup ever invented. Change my mind. These guys make the best in the Area! Their burgers and gyros are also the best!

The Hot Grill is one of my favorite restaurants! Such a hidden gem. The fried chicken is the best and the owners are so kind. If you need amazing food and a great price, this is the place to go.

Good food more than a hot dog stand. Petes a great guy and has been in the restuarant biz for years. Focus on quality but great prices. Breakfast specials are a good deal.

Hot Grill is a hole in the wall that will fill your stomach and heart without emptying your wallet. Pete and his wife are awesome hosts and the food is top notch. Great breakfast, exceptional pancakes and dont pass up the chicken baked or fried. Pete continues his excellence and you can get it delivered. Dont sleep on the grits!

This is my favorite hole-in-the-wall restaurant in my area. As another reviewer has mentioned, it is a very tiny place, not really eat-in friendly, and the interior could definitely use updating. However I always do take out, so its not a problem for me.The menu is pretty extensive and everything Ive ordered has always been very good and made fresh. Calling ahead is very easy, limits your wait time, and they have yet to make a mistake on any of my orders. You get a LOT of food for what you pay, and the unhealthy fast food items are available but almost hard to find. Not that youd want to find them - you can get a real lunch or dinner and pay only a little more than you would for a hot dog and fries elsewhere. Weve had breakfast, lunch, and dinner from Hot Grill. Omelettes, grilled cheese, burgers, hot dogs, baked chicken - it is all very good and at prices that constantly surprise me. My favorite by far is the baked chicken and rice which comes with potato and choice of soup.You may walk in and wonder how an understated little place like this can have so many good reviews. My answer is try it out and let the food do the talking!

Owners are extremely nice people. Most of the menu is made to order and their fried chicken is fantastic. Soups are made daily, I recommend the chicken dumpling. One of my go to places.

Great food !!! Ive had almost everything on the menu. The chopped steak is my favorite though with rice melody and Greek potatoes. The people are always very polite and helpfull. Always a great place to eat .

Its a cheap spot to grab some food. There is better places out there. I havent been in about 4 years. So Im sure things may have changed since than.

Came in waited 15 mins and had to ask for menus. Went here because of the great reviews, but a hole in the wall is an understatement. The dining area was dark and seemed very dirty. We brought our 2 kids and definitely not family friendly. There was no highchairs and no lids or straws for cups. Not sure if the food is any good cause we left before we even ordered. Payed $6 for a cup of orange juice with no lid and 2 cups of coffee with chips all over the rims (bacteria harbor) Im sure its good for a quick stop but felt I needed to leave a review so families know its no good.
