Bad customer service. When ordering meat, they took 15 minutes or more and when finally given my order the guy misunderstood what I asked for. I understand the weekend gets busy but when I told the guy the issue, he then promoted the meat I didnt want. I then asked what about my order? And he said I had to wait another 15 minutes! So I then walked away and went to customer service. Told the girl the issue and all she said was that she was going to talk to the guy. How is that going to benefit me? Arent they suppose to help fix the problem? Instead of her going back there and getting my order, she did nothing. No solution! Ive been going to Rio Valley for more than 10 years and never had any issues, for sure lost a customer and telling my loved one not to come here. I like going to places where they put the customer first.

When they are mopping. they have to use the signs. Safety signs they said are cautions is wet. Wash good the mop. Has smell. Ok have a great day 😊

I have had a few bad experience before but today was the last straw for me. I grabbed a rotisserie chicken and I didnt notice the plastic container was not properly put on right. It fell inside the basket I had my groceries in. Im just not going to bother anymore. Smdh.

Staff is not conversational. Gets kinda awkward. But their food is always on point

Clean place lots of parking but they didnt seem to have very much meat on the shelves.

Great until I got to the cashier. I put my basket on the belt and the cashier gave me an attitude about it. She started throwing my food items out with no respect and no gentleness. If the basket on the belt is offensive, I wouldnt understand why. This cashier had really long fake eyelashes (only mentioned so management can identify the worker) and needs to be addressed about how she interacts with customers. My intention was never to disrespect anyone. But that was her intention towards me. Still 5 stars because Ive never had a problem with anyone else there and everything flows smooth.

Too crowded during this time of Corona virus but the withers at the meat market took good care of me.

Miss marked something from meat department meat weight n price not like it was on wrong place on shelf this was a meat department sticker with price on it,, price scanned what tag said, not consumers problem then cashier called manager they would not honor that price. Response was if we overcharged you and you caught it we would refund if customer catches this tag was lower price would not honor told me pay or leave it ......

People dont know how to keep their distance. Store does not provide sanitizer of any kind and people take off their masks while waiting in the meat dept. Nothing is enforced.

Small store, unfriendly associates and a less than average shopping experience is what I encountered here. The entire store smelled of spoiled milk and just seemed dirty and unpleasant.I gave Rio Valley Market 3 stars because their produce section was pretty decent and they do have good prices.

Great place to shop clean freash food but one complaint the Spanish ladies that work at the register are very nice except one I believe shes prejudiced no smile attitude but lady in front of me with Spanish and she was very polite to her I thought it was very rude

A nice little market with plenty of inventory.

Almost all foods here are lower priced then the Jewels right behind this building..great selection of meats, fruits,etc but parking is limited and place is small to over stocked. I always find bargains and they post online sale flyers it helps when getting that grocery list ready. This market would get 5 stars if they would keep walk areas clean as well as the carts,carry baskets and overall general appearance, its a little ticky tacky but i shop for bargains,so. ...

I use to love rio valley until i brought a can of mandarin oranges and i NORMALLY check the expiration date, but this time i forgot to check It before i brought it and by the time i got home to make the salad with it, i open it and it smelled like death and it was 2 months OLD!!! They need to be taking food down OFF THE SHELVES if it way past the expiration date!! They can get sued and cause serious health issue among others if they keep it up! I will NEVER BUY CAN FOOD FROM THEM EVER AND I Highly avoid shopping here for can food, just go straight to jewel osco behind them

Smaller store, lots of produce. I didnt buy any meat, but the counter was well stocked with good looking products. Bought some pico de Gallo, it was just ok. I was expecting more, but that could be the out of season tomatoes and not the store. Went here on the way home by chance. Would go again if in the neighborhood.

Ok prices good variety of Hispanic food but lacks in others. Prices especially high on essential goods.

Quality of meat is pretty good. I love the pollo adobado. Its fresh and inexpensive. Does get crowded like most latino fresh meat markets so get their either early or late. Middle of day is usually crowded especially weekends.

Excellent meat counter reeks of bleach, hand cut meats by people that really seem to care, so many different cuts/types its mind boggling. Great grocery selection, overall a very clean place, dont let the seedy area on Mannheim turn you off, this is an oasis.
