I ordered various of their custom flavored fench macarons for which a min of 6 was required for each flavor. i was shocked to find they are not the normal sized macarons im acustom to receiving but tiny mini ones. the flavors were very meh and after eating 1 of each flavor i hoenstly dont think I could tell them apart( coconut, cherryz, raspberry, blueberry and watermelon). Not the worst macarons ive ever had but not any i would order again.

$25 small cake. Under the icing you can see how burnt it was. You can almost taste how dry and stale it was just by looking at it! I threw that half in the garbage. I also bought two expensive little cup cakes when I bought the cake. A sweet treat for my daughter and I. Terribly dry and stale tasting just like the cake. I always try to support local business but this one was not worth it. I have no problem spending money on quality and even tipping well but when that quality is this poor, well shame on me I guess. Last time I go to this bakery!

Worst cupcake ever, had absolutely no flavor at all and so dry. It was like eating sugar on plain bread. Terrible service as well, 3 employees all sitting around on their phones behind the counter ignoring us. My husband and I used to love this place, we will never go back.

The cakes are literally great. So as a specialty shop I think this place is an awesome, local spot. Going there for other items can be hit/miss. Their shakes sound good and look tasty, but today we had 3 that were sipped 3 times or less each and then poured out. They all tasted off and just not good. My raspberry shake tasted like something spoiled was in it. Sipped once and poured down the sink. So we tossed $18 worth of drinks. But again...cakes are great! So just make your shakes at home ;)

I placed an order through their website on Wednesday for a standard cake that stated they only need 8 hours notice for pick up on a Saturday (for my husbands birthday). I called Friday morning to confirm and they stated that they werent taking any more orders. When asked why no one called to tell me that (since I had placed the order 2 days prior) they said they didnt know and then said they probably didnt get the order. Extremely unprofessional. Was also going to order a cake next month for my daughters birthday, but will definitely find another bakery for that. Thanks so much for making me scramble at the last second. If your website states that you can do it in 8 hours and you cant, TAKE IT OFF THE WEBSITE!!!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars are sinful.

They are amazing. The carrot cake cupcake was unbelievable. The entire staff was so nice and they were so awesome when helping me coordinate special order cupcakes. I will definitely be ordering from them again! Thank you guys!

My mom had my baby shower cake made from here it’s been 13 months and I still think about that cake... soooooo good. And truly beautiful, with a little baby shoe and everything. Xo

Atmosphere is very dismal. No music playing, dark, dingy feel. Overpriced smoothies (wasnt even blended well). I feel the owner(s) and staff could make that place a LOT better for people to want to come in and enjoy and spend that type of money.

When my husband and I went it we felt rushed to order. The display case was very small, didnt have anything labeled and had no lights in it so it was super dark and hard to see the products. I ordered a blueberry muffin which was stale and had 3 shriveled, not fresh, blueberries in it total. The store and display case the baked goods were in was all very dirty and unorganized. There was about 4 teenagers working but all sitting down looking at their phones. The only redeeming part of the purchase was the smoothie we ordered, hence the 2 stars. Good concept for a biz. Poor execution.

Great food. Great service. They make amazing coffee too. I would keep coming back but they sell fairlife milk, and I cant support a place that supports that kind of animal cruelty.

I ordered a cake for my mothers birthday and I asked for specific details. They worked with me and made a cake that my mother was thrilled with. She was very surprised and pleased. It looked amazing and was DELICIOUS.

I used to like this place and visited often for cupcakes. However i recently picked up a 6 inch cake for a birthday. After asking several times i was told it is a chocolate cake, i only wanted chocolate. I came home, after the cake was cut i realized its a plain vanilla cake. I reported it to the bakery. But they dont care. So, well that tells you.

First visit. Nice shop. Friendly staff. I only ordered cupcakes and they were delicious. They did have other items including various drinks and pastries. Tables for casual meetings with friends and family-friendly.

Bought a $4 coffee from here and was surprised to find it was so bitter and stale-tasting I actually dumped it out. Tried ordering again later thinking it was a fluke batch, but the second coffee was worse than the first.

Friendly service, nice pastries. I like to pick up cupcakes for whenever I am invited to a party or dinner or something. They make a very impression. Personally, Im not a fan of THAT MUCH frosting on my cupcakes, but I love the unique flavors!

We have stopped before a few times to have cupcaKes of course. But today we went to try out some of the savory items and muffins. And wonderful as usual delicious!!😍

Lovely bakery, I tried a few of their chocolate cupcakes and coffee and they were all delicious. Plus the staff is so sweet .

Five minutes to closing, they welcomed our party of 10 in with open arms for a quick slice of birthday cake along with a tempting selection of delicious chef-made deserts. Thank you for helping make a memory, Cake Bar!

The cupcake I tried for free was flavorless, but free! Free of flavor or cost. Alas, the coffee was disappointing and not free. The staff was friendly but didnt seem to know what they were doing in terms of coffee, kept checking to see what the different drinks were composed of.

The cupcakes were okay, nothing spectacular (especially not for the price), but I would probably go back considering there arent many options like this in franklin. It looks somewhat out of place in downtown franklin, but its a cute little shop in the downtown area.
